I don’t recall Nebo always being like that since launch though. I’m sure it broke around about the time of the NPE changes if memory recalls and was never reverted back to how it was.
It didn’t “break”; they deliberately changed it this way around that time. I’m still not sure WHY they changed it to be this much of a pain, but it was definitely deliberate. They even made the event reward a daily bonus chest, like world bosses and other similar events (Fire Shaman).
I’d go look through the Wardrobe in-game for staff skins I like; just go to a bank/crafting station, click on the Wardrobe tab, and then select Weapons > Two Handed weapons to find the Staff skins. Preview some, and then /wiki the skin name or google it to find out where to get it.
Yeah, it’s some weird bug that makes it look like/say Unused Upgrade Slot. However, as far as I know, it still operates as an Omni Infusion Slot.
No, it’s not against the TOS to trade with other players. However, trading directly (ie. not using the Trading Post) isn’t supported, and so if either party ends up getting screwed over, Anet will not replace the items or gold. They can discipline the person who did the scamming if they’re reported, but that’s it.
Edit: Sending/receiving a large sum of gold MIGHT trigger some of the RMT flag, but you can contest it with proof of your transaction with another player. Another important thing to keep in mind is that you can only take 500g from your mail and guild bank per week. So, if you try to trade your item for more than 500g, you’ll have to wait for the reset to get the rest of your gold.

This is a dead thread; you’d be better off just creating a new one about your Asura topic.
Yeah, it’s two different XP boosters. The old one (the Fine quality one) is the one you can convert; it also no longer drops and is no longer available for purchase on the gem store. The new one (the Rare quality one) cannot be traded and does drop/is available for purchase. The Rare one is honestly a good booster to keep, if you ever have alts that need leveling.
Or masteries to work on.
Or to just blast through some pvp reward tracks.
I pop these things like candy. And I think they stack with the birthday booster, if I recall.
Yup. And they do, indeed, stack with the birthday boosters and other boosters.

I think a trait system that eliminates variety and cause a mass exile can’t be described as “not broken”.
Um, what?
Do you already have all of your Gliding masteries done? If not, I’d switch to Gliding to get as much of that done as possible with your Mastery Points. I’d also get the first tier of Exalted Lore done, too, just so you can easily enter areas blocked by Exalted artifacts.
If you already have as much gliding/exalted as you want unlocked and are just set on finishing off Nuhoch or Itzel, then I’d personally go for whichever one you think will benefit you more. If you spend a lot of time in TD fighting chak, then the Nuhoch one will be best for you, probably. If, however, you spend more time in the other zones (or if you ever plan to do raids), I’d go ahead and get the Itzel one because Adrenal Mushrooms can be very handy.
If you don’t already have extra bank tabs, I’d buy at least two of those because that will be useful for ALL of your characters. You’d have gems leftover after that to get anything else you might like.
I, personally, don’t feel that the storage expanders are worth it, but I know others who don’t feel that way; so, if you end up amassing tons of mats, getting another might be good.
If you don’t already have your copper fed salvage-o-matic in a shared inventory slot, then getting a slot would honestly be worth it for the convenience of that item alone.
Does Season 2 close on 7/26 as well? I purchased it but sadly have not made my way through it yet.
Season 2 will be playable forever.
No capes. And there’s already a cape thread on the front page. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Capes-incoming/first#post6242806
3 year-old thread.
Here is the screen showing my APs like Rose suggested. They aren’t at 15,000 yet if you combine daily APs and the retired monthly APs. Combined they total 14,937
Then I’d definitely contact support, as should your guildies who haven’t reached the cap.
Unless the instance owner comes back and kills him for you, then you’re kind of stuck. :\
The consortium tool is faster than all of the other sickles out there, including all of the other permanent/never-ending ones. So, the new pack isn’t any slower; the consortium one is just an anomaly, it seems.
“Harvesting is done slightly earlier in the gathering animation than other harvesting tools, allowing the user to move away from the node slightly faster than normal.”

Since it’s an account upgrade, it isn’t giftable to other players. The only option would be to send her the gold (you could even convert your gems to gold, but the exchange rate isn’t all that great) or buy her a gem card.
The Daily Cap is Daily AP + Monthly AP combined. Add up your AP from Dailies and Monthlies to see what the total is. If it’s not at the cap, then yeah, you have a bug and should contact support. If it’s at the cap, then there’s no bug.
Edit: Attached a screenshot below showing where you see your Daily and Monthly AP totals.

Yeah, as was said above, the DS meta is a time-locked event that just repeats itself. The events (leading to killing the Mouth of Mordremoth) are happening at the same time the final HoT PS mission (killing the Mind of Mordremoth) is happening.
Yeah, I knew something was up when I read the OP and saw “I can’t afford to repair my armor”. 3 year-old thread, guys. No need to continue the discussion.
But it would have to be a stand-alone game. I can’t see any developer encouraging people to not play their game.
Yeah, this.
No, they cannot be reset.
What others already said: the crafting back items are meant to be ones you create and then upgrade as you level up. No other reason.
This. Me and my whole family purchased HoT. The communication issues, content drought, unfinished expansion content.. we have now moved on to a subscribe to play game where we have a ton of catching up to do before their next expansion drops (we said forget it, if we’re gonna be gated into raids again no matter which game we go to, might as well do it in the game that’s known for it and we’re familiar with!)
However, we paid for this content and if we ever chose to come back, it should be available. I don’t want to have to keep up on what’s going on with a game I won’t be playing currently so I don’t get ripped out of stuff I paid for, because I’m busy with something else.
New info was released today:
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/guild-wars-2s-living-world-returns-on-july-26/
All you have to do is log in once every 2-3 months to unlock it, even if you don’t currently have HoT.
Anytime I’ve done the story with someone else as the Instance Owner, I haven’t been able to interact with the rifts. I assumed that meant that no one other than the Instance Owner could even get an interact option when they go to one of the rifts. As for the final rift not showing up, to add more data, I’ve only ever had that happen when the instance owner was up in the penalty box.

Anet handles bot banning in big waves, usually. Usually the best thing to do is just report in-game. If you happen to get screenshots or video proof, then go ahead and submit a support ticket with the evidence because they do, indeed, review reports that way. Sometimes it might take a while before they roll out another mass-wave of bans, so that’s why it might sometimes seem like reports are getting nowhere.
There’s nothing to explain, really. Concept art is used to get ideas from your artists based on the general direction/vision given to them by the company. Those images are then looked over, and if the Head Honchos for the department and the overall project like the look of one (or more) of them, then more concept art will be done to work more in that style/look. This gets repeated, and the images evolve as the people actually creating the elements in-game run into technical limitations, the people in charge change their minds about certain things, artists get switched off/on the project, etc. And even the images used for advertising of a product will often change significantly between the release of said advertisements and the actual release of the product.
You really don’t NEED the AR, though, Danikat. If you do choose to get it, you probably already have enough relics from doing the other fractals for Nevermore to pick up a versatile infusion. That would be more than enough to counter most of the agony effect.
Then why even make the post if you do not intend to receive anything? You must want something or you would not make a post, would you?
I’m not sure why you’re being so hostile towards OP. I didn’t see anything in the original post that made it seem like OP was whining, let alone trying to get something from someone. It just seemed like a “Don’t do what I did because you won’t be able to undo it” post.
Well posting it as problem and saying in the middle
I have sent out tickets before but I haven’t posted on the forums. I doubt anything could be changed with the exception of an account rollback
Sounds like s/he want the char back, but dont know what a account rollback would do + that it only offred once if you been hacked
And this wont help much becouse either 1 then person have already done the same thing or 2 the topic will get burried in page 2, 3 , 4 etc within afew days.
True. But I doubt that OP was seriously hoping for a rollback at this point. They said this happened three years ago and that they now have characters getting 3rd birthday gifts.

Yeah, there’s no way to sell your relics. They’re in your wallet. But I think you’ll make it through the fractal fine even with 0 AR; you’ll just need to pay close attention to your health. It would also be good to just give your group a heads up that you don’t have AR yet.
The raven isn’t there until after the boss is dead, according to the wiki. So, you’ll need to just do the whole fractal, which shouldn’t be a problem.
“Complete any level Solid Ocean Fractal. Double-click the Subtle Spyglass with the Spirit Containment Unit in your inventory while standing near the raven, located at the end of the fractal after defeating the final boss, off to the far-right.”
I would imagine that, if you can use your class defensive abilities well enough, you’d get through level 20 fine without any AR because level 20 only requires 8 AR. If you’ve never done that fractal before, read up on it a bit before jumping in. Once you’ve seen the basics of the fight, then just join a group for it. Odds are you’ll be fine.
If you really want to get the AR, though, you could probably just get by with one Versatile Simple Infusion (gives you +5 AR); you’ll take a bit more Agony damage, but it won’t be as bad as going in with 0. Those infusions cost 75 fractal relics and are bought from one of the vendors in Fractals. If you’ve done the fractals needed for other tiers of Nevermore, you should probably be close to 75 relics. However, you’ll need to have a trinket, weapon, back item, or armor piece that can accept an infusion. So, if you don’t currently have ANY gear that can take an infusion on your character, you’re going to have to buy/earn one.
There are Living Story achievements that give an ascended accessory for completing them, but that will take some time. If you have laurels saved up at all, you’d be better off just buying an ascended trinket from the laurel vendor. Similarly, if you’re in a guild that does guild missions, you can do missions to get commendations, and then use the commendations to buy an ascended accessory. Again, that will take some time because you need 12 commendations (plus some gold) for each accessory you get.
this is just a failed attempt to bring the far overdue GW1 feeling back, they don’t even look like white mantles and all badges come from bandits……uhmmmmm….what?
what would be more a success is a chaos made by the white mantle, like the attempt on the life of queen jenna or taking over ebon hawk to make ready for an invasion.
handing out fliers on their return in power is a horrible way to introduce their important, having mysterious ppl attacking is.
If you’re paying attention to the bandit-related Current Events, you’ll see that the White Mantle is putting up posters and making threats on Jennah’s life. We’re also being attacked by “mysterious” assassins while we’re taking out bandit bounties for the Shining Blade. And: bandits = White Mantle.
Technically, it’s “legal” to ask people for things. It is “illegal” to spam people over and over, and it’s also illegal to scam people. If you get hit up and feel that something is fishy, you can report him for Scamming; Anet can then look into it to see if any wrong-doing is going on.
I actually had someone do the scam whisper to me a week or two ago. They whispered me and asked me for 10g to “get some bags”. I didn’t know the person, so I just said “No”, and that person then called me a bunch of rude names. I asked if I even knew him, and he said “No, but it was worth a shot”. So, I just blocked him and mentioned in map chat that the person was scamming so that others might avoid sending him anything.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Much love to you.
I’m also an “old player”, and I have no problem with the skins being back in the game. The tribal skin, in particular, was in-game for such a short time that hardly anyone got to unlock it for use. It’s good that it (and some others) are back.
It would also probably be good to post what builds you used to get the numbers (and what builds were used on the classes that didn’t cut the top 3).
Go to your trait panel, and put the Tempest spec as your bottom traitline.
I’d prefer that option (actually playing to earn them), too. But, like I said, that option seems less and less likely, no matter how much I’d prefer it.
If Anet could find a way to let newer players earn the rewards by doing achievements related to the old ones, I’d be all for it. Unfortunately, I don’t know how they’d go about that, and as more time passes, it seems less likely that we’ll get an actual replay version of season 1 stuff (not faulting Anet for this; I imagine that’s a heck of a lot of work that they’d rather focus on other, newer things). And since that might not ever be an option, I’d honestly be ok with adding most of them to the Laurel Vendor. Could increase the price slightly (30 laurels + 20 gold maybe?) for the ones that were achievement rewards, I suppose.
The only way to get them is by doing the Daily Recommended Fractals. You get 1 from each Daily Recommended Fractal chest (Fractal Initiate’s Research Chest and Fractal Adept’s Research Chest). Note that you don’t get them from doing the other fractal dailies.
Uh, what?
No.
Headbutt is an elite spec skill. You can’t use those skills without having the Berserker Elite trait line equipped on your character. Go to your hero panel, choose traits, and then set your bottom traitline as Berserker.
While we are at key farm,
Does anyone else have kittenpoor key drop rate from maps since last update?1 key in last 12 maps for me, another guildie is at 3 keys in 21 maps (he’s doing map compl) .
Before the patch I was at least getting the 1 key every 3 maps (wiki says 25%), but now …
And no, I’m not doing cities.
RNG is RNG.
I believe the champ bag loot you get for completing each tier is what contains the bandit crests.
“There’s no better time to fill out your wardrobe with the Aetherblade, Flamekissed, and Zodiac armors, which are going on sale for limited periods throughout the week!”
They’ll all be on sale at some point this week; it’s just not there yet.
From what I recall about this boss, she only cocoons targets that are far away. So, if you’re staying ranged, you’re more likely to get hit with a cocoon. Instead, just fight in melee (or somewhere between melee and ranged), use your dodges and utility skills to avoid taking too much damage, and do your best to revive eachother if anyone gets downed.
