I can confirm that this is happening for others, as well. I did that instance on my Revenant a few days ago, and (even though I already had Untethered completed) the icon was over my skill bar.
Just as a side note: There already a couple of skins that are used for both staves and spears (or are they tridents?). Delusion is one of them. I can’t remember what the other one I know of is.

Most of those are based off of weapons the Phantasms wield, but there are a couple that aren’t Phantasm weapons but are Ectoplasm weapons. It is a bit odd that there isn’t a full set, considering there are already so many of them.
They’re in GW1. Enjoy!
T4 map, not camp. As far as I know, nothing requires getting a pact camp to t4. And while T4 won’t happen all the time, it does get done sometimes. Best thing to do is just keep an eye on the LFG once it’s close to nightfall; usually any maps trying to get to T4 will post to get more people in.
They actually don’t bother me that much since they’re relatively small. But I also think it’s pointless to display them outside of PvP areas because PvP players will see them when it’s relevant and to non-PvPers like me they’re meaningless.
I don’t know what the colours or symbols mean or what order they go in, so to me they all just mean “this person has played at least a bit of PvP”, which isn’t something I ever need to know.
This. I notice the badges. They don’t really bother me because I have names turned off, but they also don’t mean anything to me other than “That guy plays pvp”.
That event used to bug all the time before Ezal was put in the game. Are you sure that he’s the one making it bug?
That’s something you’d have to take up with support directly. But, honestly, they probably won’t be able to restore your guild.
Ugh. I really love this game, but seeing that PVE will just be getting four-to-six LS releases in a year isn’t what I was hoping for. I’m excited about the idea of a new fractal map or two, but having non-group PVE stuff is what I personally love the most about GW2. >sigh< I’m trying to stay positive about it, but I’m just disappointed.
As others have already said, there will never be a reset time that works for all players all the time. The lack of posts asking for a change to the mission reset time indicates that the current time is fine with most forum users, at least. So, the majority seems to be content with it. Players with real-life responsibilities will sometimes miss out on stuff; it’s going to happen to everyone at least a few times, and all we can do is suck it up and play when we can play.
True. If that’s the case, very interesting indeed. Maybe it was released before Anet intended it to be?
Interesting that the page is now not working.
Still loads for me.
I get “PAGE NOT FOUND” every time I try.
Might want to try a different browser or something then. It’s definitely working for me every time I click on the link.
Interesting that the page is now not working.

Another, older Sylvari-hating example: Before the New Lion’s Arch remodel, there was an Asura Lionguard patrolling with a human newbie Lionguard. At the end of their patrol, the Asura verbally and almost physically assaults a Sylvari citizen who was standing outside of his former home.
Well, that’s all well and good, but what about people who want THIS set? I mean, I’ve looked it over in the wardrobe, and I definitely want those boots (among a few other pieces). The hypothetical other set might be good too, but it’s no substitute for this one if it looks different.
If you want it that badly, then you need to do the raids. It doesn’t matter if you (or anyone else) think it’s somehow not fair; if you want raid loot, do raids.
I assume you mean Gwyllion. If you have Nuhoch Stealth Detection, you’ll be able to see him. Usually, it’s best for only people who have it to go to that boss (or at least have them lead so that everyone knows where to run to when he stealths/teleports). If you have a group that can all see him and that all bring CC skills, he’s a fast and relatively easy kill.
I don’t remember seeing the signs (there are a few throughout the Krytan areas) before this week. But, like you, I don’t completely trust my own memory.
Edit: Looks like someone down in the Lore section saw them, too. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/lore/Stay-the-Blade/first#post6205208
Yes. It’s only four maps, at least.
I wonder what his story is, too. One interesting thing is that he’s not wearing a mask. It makes me wonder why he’s not wearing one and how he’s still alive (assuming the thing some NPC says about Exalted dying when their masks are removed is true).
You need to submit a support ticket.
Sounds good, but is there any word on how players who don’t raid will be able to unlock the Experimental and Envoy armors? I mean,. you have millions of people who enjoy this game, most of which do not enjoy raiding, so it seems a bit off-putting that only those who enjoy raiding will be able to progress this armor (and before anyone starts complaining about how they have to move out of their own comfort zone to earn existing Legendaries, the various requirements to earn legendary weapons are significantly lower time and skill bars than raiding).
Just no. I don’t consider myself a raider (only been able to do it a couple of times since it was put in), but I think the legendary armor should be a raid reward. If you can’t/won’t do the raids, then you shouldn’t be able to get it. As for the weapons having a lower time and skill commitment, you’re only making one weapon each time you go through the process; you’re making six armor pieces for the armor.
Really? I have way too many ley line sparks, nearly as much auric dust, and almost no airship oil. I’ve been running around VB to get more oil so that I can make more fulgurite and use less space storing ley line sparks.
Why do you have so much more airship oil than the other two?
I have tons of auric dust and airship oil because I do AB and VB events a lot. Conversely, I pretty much never do anything in TD and only occasionally do DS.
I was confusing two different achievements and had a dumb. My bad; the wiki (and you) were right, Inculpatus.
Yeah, it feels weird to me, too, and I don’t really understand why they changed it.
They changed it to right-click instead of left-click.
Thanks RoseofGilead I have not had a chance yet to get in game and try it out. I will be sure to equip it in advance.
Yeah, definitely do that in advance. I forgot to put mine on when I was killing my last champ for the achievement, and I didn’t get out of the area quickly enough after the Executioner spawned. So, I had to wait to die or just fight the Exec. :p
Or, you can use the ‘Leave WvW’ button on the WvW window. (Unless that is bugged, as well – it works for me.)
Good luck.
Yup, that, too. I forgot that option existed.
Hopefully they don’t nerf the ability to pull it then. I will have to try it out some time.
As a necro I don’t know any other then maybe wurm that might get me out of it but now you have given me something to play around with to find out.
Flesh wurm works to get you in/out of the bubble. Just have it on your bar if you’re going around killing the champions, hoping for an executioner spawn.
Seriously. I have enough of the stuff to kill every living thing in all of the seas and oceans of Tyria.
While the LA gates are definitely bugged, you can leave wvw by just logging out to the character screen; doing so will drop you wherever you were before entering wvw.
From the Wiki:
To get the Ley Line Glider achievement, you need to get to the Ley Line Overlook point of interest. It doesn’t matter how you get there.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dragon's_Stand_
Good luck.
I’ve unlocked that point of interest on three separate characters, and I still have that achievement locked. So, I think the wiki might be wrong on tha tnote.
Yeah, I agree that you seem to be reading more into the posters than I was. I saw it as more of what we’ve already seen in Ebonhawke (and throughout DR): NPCs complaining about the world changing. I don’t see anything “PC” about it, nor do I believe it’s necessarily a commentary on what’s happening in the real world.
I’m not opposed to having female model armors on female charr and asura, but this particular armor piece just looked bad on charr and asura. So, I think in this case, the male model would look better.
For the record, though, I also don’t care for the boob-plate on norn, humans, or sylvari, but that’s just because it’s not my personal style.
Did you try a full relog of the game? Sometimes that will solve any weird things with the forge. Also, just double check that you have all the right ingredients, and try putting the philosopher’s stones in first.
Yeah, I can’t see anything special about that item. It’s probably someone either using the TP has a second bank (which is pretty dumb considering the listing fee they had to pay to list that) or someone TP trolling.
I’m sorry for the loss of your friend, ron.
Xera believes he/it’s still alive, at least.
I think it would make more sense to open up all the cities to F2P (including LA) and instead disabling some of the services/features available through LA. Lion’s Arch is a showcase of ANet’s design — is should be an example of what the game offers, rather than hidden behind the pay wall.
F2P accounts can enter cities; they’re just level-gated on WHEN they can enter said cities (10 for the racial cities and 35 for Lion’s Arch).

Honestly, I wouldn’t just experiment with the crafting to gain exp. I’d use a guide, as valheru suggested above. Gw2crafts has great guides that are cost-efficient.
Forum bug.
Thank you again, Gaile.
We are looking at more meaningful and easy ways for players to report forums issues, but that’s a bit away. More on that at a later time.
Please don’t say you are considering using players as moderators.
Are the current moderators not players also? Though, if they were to expand their workforce with current players, I hope they are well well vetted.
No, non-Anet-employee players are not forum moderators or moderators for in-game issues.

People, people, people.
You have a legitimate question, all of you. But some of you are going off the rails with a really high level of snarkiness, grumpiness, and general unpleasantness.
I have asked around, and after some discussion amongst teams, we think we may understand what happened. What you want (need) to know is this: The change to the Silverwastes drops was not intentional, and it will be corrected.
If you could please avoid the name-calling and the other tin-foil hat comments, I’d appreciate it. I can get down into core issues a lot more quickly, save myself a pair of permanently-raised eyebrows, and save my team members another muttered “Oh really, you guys?” if you just ask the question straight up and let us get you an answer!
Thanks! And I’ll update when we have more info!
Thank you so much, Gaile.
I don’t even do SW that often at all, but I still think this is really shady of Anet (IF this was an intentional change). It’s doubly shady due to the lack of documentation in the patch notes.
There is definitely a bug that sometimes happens to prevent completion of that achievement, but most often it happens that people just missed one (or more) groups they’re meant to find. Are you absolutely sure you found all of them? The number of groups to save does change based on how many people you have in the party, too.
1. Your guild chooses to server hop, and they’re on a full server.
2. You missed out on your chance to transfer with them because you weren’t playing when the move happened.
3. You’re choosing to pay to change servers every other month to stay with this guild.
None of those are the fault of Anet.
(edited by RoseofGilead.8907)
I would love to hear from Anet if this is the way forward. For me personally taking decisions that are player unfriendly will make me less likely to spend money. I hate being manipulated.
Produce items we want to spend on, instead of trying to force our hand.
Being that my chaos gloves are STILL glitched and won’t dye (sent in ticket, support said they were working on it…. that’s been almost a month now), there’s no way I’m spending money on keys for a plethora of random junk hoping to get one nice thing.
The chaos glove dye problem isn’t happening to everyone, for the record. Mine have always dyed fine.
There was a warning some weeks ago (the April patch) when they introduced the wvw reward tracks.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/updates/Game-Update-Notes-April-19-2016/first#post6102518
“WvW—REWARD TRACKS (Beta)
Reward tracks have been added to World vs. World. These are nearly identical to the reward tracks you find in PvP, except that some rewards have been adjusted to be geared toward WvW players. One of the tracks offers players a chance to earn the new WvW-exclusive Triumphant armor set! Also, once the reward tracks feature exits beta testing, the Gift of Battle legendary crafting component will no longer be available as a vendor purchase and will be earned via its own reward track.”
I’m having a hard time seeing “jumping up and down on a dead enemy” as abusive, really. It’s annoying, sure. But it’s not something I’d consider reportable. As for your other examples, if you suspect they’re doing something that isn’t possible, then report for botting.
