Yup, the Jackalope was always part of the mini collection. I remember because I had to borrow a guildie’s Jackalope to finish the achievement (back when we didn’t have to bind them to do so). And, as Thanathos said, the Balthazar mini is probably the weirdo one.
What level are you now, and what level were you when you noticed this happened the first time? Also, posting a screenshot of your Hero Panel (specifically the Training part that shows your Hero Points and anything you’ve unlocked with them) would help us see what might be going on.

Is this truly fair? No. Because everyone will be stuck at the same point. Or maybe that was ANeT’s view of fairness. Let the 30k+ achievement players remain unreachable.
The 30k+ achievement players also have the same cap that the 29k and below players do, though. They’re “unreachable” because they had access to all of the old achievements; and made sure they did every single achievement they could to get every point they could, even in game modes they might not care for. Even if Anet removed the daily AP cap, you’d still likely never catch up to them because they did all the other achievements everyone else couldn’t/didn’t/won’t do.

Almost anything else (not including more legendaries, the old human female idle animations, and most gem store items)>>>>>>>>>>>>More emotes
Just my opinion.
Why can they delete things i already kind of bought just to make more money?
Because it’s their product. And apparently this model works for them and makes them money; if it didn’t, they wouldn’t still be using it.
This thread is over two years old; it’d be better to just make a new one. To answer your question, though, blocking someone doesn’t keep them from joining your party or squad.
Have you tried putting them in the forge in a different order? Sometimes that fixes it for some reason. If not, try relogging and trying again.
The Daily Cap is your Daily and Monthly AP combined. 13303+1697=15000. So, yup, you’ve hit the cap.
See the little blue arrows next to the green star on your mini map? That means the place you’re looking for is above you. Go up the stairs (should be a set of them to the right or left of you); the NPCs will be up there.

I like to AFK in cities while using the Exalted Bastion tonic and my pretty red balloon. Or I’ll use a Jackalope tonic, /sleep, and disturb people as they walk by a seemingly-dead Jackalope.
I also make my characters fight, run, and /dance to the music I’m listening to (outside of dungeons/fractals, of course).
Oh god. Run, JAFW. Run before she hobbles you!
Really? You think that’s the reason behind it? You don’t think the only reason they don’t add those services to Guild Halls is b/c they want to sell their Airshp and Royal Terrace passes? I mean if u had those conveniences in Guild Hall, who would need those passes?
No one ever needs those passes. You’ve been able to go to Heart of the Mists for fast access to TP, bank, and vendor for a long time now. You’ve also been able to go to wvw to access crafting stations, TP, bank, laurel vendor, basic vendors, etc. forever; you can even access the Mystic Forge there sometimes. So, I don’t think your gem store conspiracy really applies in this case.
If you click on the support link, there is bolded text beneath the search field that says “Click here to reset your password” (or something along those lines). Use that. If she can’t remember the info for that, then create a support ticket, and give as much info as possible.
There are three sets of cultural armor for each armor weight; tier 1 is very cheap, tier 2 is a bit more pricey, and tier 3 is quite pricey. The vendors are in The Grove (I think on the level with the crafting stations). There is also the Twilight Arbor dungeon armor, and you buy that with Twilight Arbor tokens that you get for running explorable paths of said dungeon.
Edit: The cook’s outfit and wedding attire outfits both have a unique appearance for each race, and the Sylvari ones for both are very plant-themed. Both of those are obviously gem store items (and aren’t always available).

You didn’t go all the way to the end. There’s a small chest halfway through; the big chest (and completion) is after that.
Wait until Halloween.
Also, you have badges from achievements, but you don’t have a character that’s at least level 14? Or are you just misunderstanding what they mean by “level 14”? Level 14 just means level 14, like in PvE.
Rank 14 from WvW not level 14.
Oh really? I guess I haven’t paid attention to the vendor changes. My bad on that.
You can buy exotic weapons with dungeon tokens, after you’ve done enough runs to get enough for a weapon; the vendor for that is in Lion’s Arch near the wvw portals. The exotic weapons in wvw still cost gold, as well as the badges, I believe; the dungeon weapons only cost the tokens for that particular dungeon. You can also craft exotic weapons on a level 400 Huntsman, Artificer, or Weaponsmith; which discipline you use depends on what weapon you’re trying to make.

Someone brings up a Kickstarter-like donation idea every month or so, and every time it just seems like a bad idea (for the reasons already listed above by other people).
You could go with Superior Sigil of Force and Superior Sigil of Air. Both are commonly used sigils for people aiming for DPS. Or if you plan to do a lot of content that takes place at night (certain fractals and dungeons), you could do Superior Sigil of Night and Superior Sigil of Force.
I sent in another support ticket along with the link to this forum page, they did not answer my second one, only got the automated response. Hopefully if enough people tell them about this, they will actually look into it and not blow us off.
Well, you got the automated response because you started a new ticket. Next time just update your original ticket with the info you wanted to share.
Lots and lots.
Omg, I would love a mini statue version of Mini Baron Von Scrufflebutt or Chauncey Von Snuffles.
I think it should just show up in your chat log. If not, check your combat log
People post things like this from time to time, and 99% of the time they somehow skipped over a few bits of a map (or even an entire city/zone) without realizing, even after checking a few times. Check again. Zoom all the way out on your world map, and then zoom in a bit and hover your cursor over every zone and city in Central Tyria (except for Southsun Cove, Dry Top, and Silverwastes). If you still don’t see anything you’ve missed, then contact support.
Yes, I understand that. This is the first map completion character. That is to say, NO other character has completed the map and the achievement for completing the map was not granted prior to this map completion. I received the achievement upon completing the map on the character in question. This necessarily means that the game does, in fact, think that this specific character has map completion unless, somehow, the game keeps track of the entire account and you are able to get the “been there done that” achievement by completing each point, but on different characters, which, to my knowledge is not the intended behavior (so that would be another bug entirely anyway). In order for me to receive the achievement, this specific character, then, must have 100% correct?
Yes, I contacted support yesterday.
Yup, if you got “Been There Done That” on that character, you should have gotten the Gifts of Exploration. So, I hope Support is able to get them sent your way.
Oh, one more thing, just in case you haven’t already done it: Check your character’s inventory, and use the search bar to search for “Gift”. Sometimes reward chests get auto-deposited into our inventories when certain things happen, and in those cases the contents will be found in your inventory.
A woman has no answer for there is no answer.

We are both doing daily’s today, a new player gets 2g and 10 ap, a capped vet player gets 2g for doing the same work. How is that the same?
Again, we got 15k AP for dailies/monthlies. New players are getting 15k for dailies. It’s equal.
As a side note, veteran players were able to get many, many AP that new players won’t ever be able to get because they weren’t playing during past events. So, as far as gaining AP goes, I think veterans come out better than new players (for now).
(edited by RoseofGilead.8907)
Personally I don’t understand the need for a cap. People that have been loyally playing the game for nearly 4 years should get the same rewards that a new player gets. After all they have achievement chests already setup for thousands of points higher then the highest player in the game has reached, so why not let everyone work towards them instead on penalizing loyal daily players.
New players aren’t getting anything we (veteran players) didn’t get. We got 15k AP from dailies/monthlies. New players are getting 15k AP for dailies. It’s equal. We all still get the gold, mats, and exp items from doing the dailies, too.
You don’t even need story. Either use the GH to go there or just walk the way through Silverwastes (far Southwestern corner of the map) and enter the portal there. No story needed, not even prologue – many don’t know this.
That doesn’t work.
It worked for me just now, on a character that hasn’t even finished the main PS, let alone done any HoT story.
If that is indeed the case, it still doesn’t apply to the OP.
Yeah, true. In the case of the OP, they’ll have to at the very least do the Prologue, I believe. Plus, as others said, it’s good to do that so you unlock the Masteries anyway.

Yeah, I’d check out the GW reddit for sure; it’s good for information, finding people to play with, and trading. You can also search the most recent Kamadan chat posts on Kamadan Trade Chat (just google that to find the website) to look for people selling/trading the mats you need for your armor.
As far as I know, you never encounter Agony in any part of the raids.
You reached the AP cap for dailies/monthlies.
As far as I know, it’s 100% safe to use it.
the pale tree? I don’t remember anything happening to her, maybe I forgot, I did all the personal story and HoT too. :S
I mean I remember her getting attacked, but not killed or something.
No, she wasn’t killed. But she’s hurt so badly that it’s implied by NPCs she might not fully recover from it. The version you see when going to her chamber is the pre-LW Season 2 Pale Tree.
Edit: Just checked, and I’m partially wrong. If you go talk to her on an character that hasn’t done the Living Story stuff, she’s all normal. If you do it on a character that has, s he’s basically laying half-dead on the floor.

What KestrelGirl said. Hoelbrak, along with pretty much all of the other capitol cities (LA being the obvious exception with some other exceptions, as well), are time-locked. That’s why you’ll see Eir in her homestead instance.

Killer Queen is the one I use because I love the song “Killer Queen”.
Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but I don’t think you can put a straight up Agony Infusion in a Defensive slot (which is what you’re doing according to your screenshots). What you CAN do is put the +10 Agony Infusion in the Agony Infusion Slot, and then either get a Versatile Simple Infusion (and upgrade it to a +7 in the Mistlock Observatory) or a Versatile Infusion for the Defensive slot.
Nope, far from “almost impossible”. That one jump is, indeed, tricky. But once you learn how to do it, it’s fairly simple to remember how to get it again and again. It really helps if you’re on a necro and can use Spectral Walk before jumping and Spectral Recall to save yourself if you miss the jump to the branch behind the mushroom.
Did you look in your inventory?
“Imbue an Orichalcum Horn at the Serenity Temple in Blazeridge Steppes. "
You have the wrong thing in your inventory. You’re supposed to just charge an Orichalcum Horn (which is a component of the warhorn you have in your inventory). https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Orichalcum_Horn
As far as I know, the Gift of Fortune is the only Gift that can be salvaged to get back all of its components. And as far as I know, it’s still salvageable.
No i mean legendaries have no salvage option i clicked on all the salvage kits i got it will not let me salvage my legendary.
Yes, it’s meant to be that way. As far as I know, they’ve never been salvageable.

Blood Fiends are the ones that spawn with the Blood Fiend heal skill. Are you sure you don’t mean bone minions/shambling horrors/jagged horrors? All three of those resemble eachother. Lich Form 4 spawns 5 jagged horrors, Rise spawns up to 5 (depends on how many foes are around) shambling horrors, and Summon Bone Minions spawns 2 bone minions.
If you do mean Blood Fiends, then there was something fishy going on because there’s no way to spawn more than one of those at a time.
Also, what bug was the necro referring to?
Blade shards. Please let me deposit blade shards.
Dont change the farming spot, just change the fact, that you actually CAN do afk-farming.
No game-input for 10 min?—> auto-logout.
And/or despawn/store of all Pets and minions after 5 min without moving.Since we have despawn-timers for nearly all other pets/minions etc in game, this shouldnt be too hard to implement.
Auto-kick after 10 minutes is too extreme. People sometimes have to step away to see to kids/pets/groceries/the bathroom. Not being able to have the chance to step away for more than 10 minutes (without losing your spot on a map) if needed would be pretty crappy.
The pet stow/disable is something I could agree with. But, in the case of ranger, the pet would come back out as soon as the ranger was attacked. So, maybe auto-passive after a certain period of time for those.
