Immobulus is the one I’ve seen the least, I think. I’ve seen a good number of Infinite Lights, largely from people who grinded out the items to pvp forge the skin before they discontinued the pvp locker.
You’d still have to stop and forge them, which will take about a much time as vendoring them all does. Plus, you’re out 80g. Not a solution.
Even though what you describe sounds EXTREMELY unlikely, you’d have to contact support yourself to have anyone look into it. Create a support ticket. But you should contact your ISP first.
Are you waiting inside the fractal until the very end to make sure you get full credit?

Just taking this suggestion at face value: If everyone can rejoin the fight, instead of being put in the waiting cell, does that make it possible to simply throw bodies at him until he dies? Is that what people want?
If not, is there a middle ground between that and how it currently works? Maybe checkpoints during the boss fight?
Checkpoints would be nice, but at the same time, I don’t think that’s TOO necessary. Honestly, I’d be fine with staying dead and not being ported to the “penalty box”. Just move our bodies to the center of the area (or anywhere that won’t interfere with any interactions needed for the fight). That way we’d at least have the chance to be rezzed a tiny bit, here and there, if we’re in there with a party, and we’d actually be able to help again if we managed to get fully revived. And then maybe add a mechanic similar to the Molten Boss where everyone who is dead or downed at a phase change (or at least once, at 50%) gets revived.
That’s not necessarily a typo. The actual phrase is, indeed, “another think coming” and not “another thing coming”. It was misheard and misspoke so often that “thing” became the accepted version in many places.

daily activity is in Lion’s Arch, there’s an NPC that you talk to to join in on the minigame. It works.
The day the OP wrote this, the activity NPC (a couple of them, actually) didn’t work. That’s why they said that.
Have you tried going to your bank, clicking on Wardrobe, and then just trying on/previewing all of the skins for light armor? That’d probably be the best way for you to find the exact look you’re going for.
Yeah, the RPers in GW2 use custom emotes to roleplay, with occasional things done in /say chat. As penelope said, “bigger fish to fry”; there’s no need for them to change chat to allow for this, and putting someone to work on doing it would take work away from a more important thing.
Yeah, you submitted a bug report rather than a support ticket. Do as Trogdor suggested above. Unfortunately, since it’s been this long since the deletion, they might not return the item. But there’s no harm in trying.
Are you in a Central Tyria zone? Also, have you done the first part of HoT to unlock the Mastery system?
It’s a bug. A full relog of the game will usually fix it. If that doesn’t fix it, then using the portal stone or logging into GW1 and back out can fix it, too.
Is your friend’s in-game mail full?
What’s strange is I remember the Lion’s Arch NPC appearing as she normally should before I went into Fractals (around 2 minutes after reset). I moused over the icon on the mini map to see which activity was the daily activity, saw it was Southsun Survival, and then opted to do Fractals first/instead. By the time I was out of Fractals (about 15 minutes later), the icon was gone, and the NPC was broken.
I think Scavenger’s Chasm is a bad choice for a daily because it’s one that requires more than just jumping to the chest. So many people who had never done (or even heard of) this JP kept shouting that the JP completion was bugged because they didn’t realize they had to do an extra step (or 12 steps) to fully complete it.
That depends on what you think the goal of the daily should be. If the goal is to lead players through all the content that the game has to offer then it is no better or worse than any other JP. If the goal give people some stuff they can quickly do for whatever then maybe not such a great choice . It will probably cycle through every JP in the game.
True enough. And yeah, it’s going to cycle through all of the JPs probably.

As for the other dailies, today’s just ended up being an unlucky pull. Some of the activity NPCs suddenly decided to stop working (an obvious bug), and Master of Monuments didn’t convert to Master of Ruins (either a bug or an oversight on the part of Anet when they popped the Alpine borderlands back in). Having the dailies bug this much on one day has never happened as long as I’ve been doing dailies (or at least that I can remember). So, just hang in there; we’ll have better pulls for the next daily.
Edit: And you don’t have to run the bomb to get credit for Griffonrook (for daily or for the JP achievement). All you have to do is run up to the correct chest (not the first chest you come to).

About solving this bug today: Here in the Netherlands today is a holiday (Ascension Day). So not a lot of people work today. Isn’t that the same for the US (Seattle area)?
There’s no holiday in the US this week.
Same thing happens with the tonic form, too.
You can complete the achievements on any character.
Please devs, don’t do this. A gemstore item that grants permanent swiftness would really play havoc in WvW. It would really suck if it became a required purchase to keep up with the rest of the group you’re running with in order to keep up.
I don’t understand why people keep asking devs to deliberately place poser creep in the game.
I’m pretty sure you can’t use them in wvw anyway.
I’d suggest only using the broom or carpet to glide only if you are using it, but not make a glider skin.
But they will probably make a 700 gem skin…
They would probably just do what they did with the black wings where previous owners get a free glider and new buyers can get the pack. It wouldn’t even be that pricey given how much cheaper the toys are to the backpacks.
The fact that the toys are so much cheaper than the glider skins or the combo packs makes me very doubtful that they’d let us get the glider version of the toys for free just by owning them. If they ever did this (and I’m doubtful they would, really), they’d make us buy the new one, I’d think. Or they’d make us pay a certain amount of gold to an NPC to upgrade it.
I’m not really against the idea, but I’m also having a hard time caring enough to say I’m for it. If I want to be silly while moving around aimlessly (or even not-so-aimlessly), I’ll use the carpet or broom because it looks silly. If I want to actually get somewhere quickly, I’m going to either be using a waypoint or running in my normal appearance so that I can avoid the visual distraction of a carpet/broom while I’m trying to avoid mobs and whatnot. Even if the movement toys did have a speed boost, it wouldn’t make me use them more often because of the visual distraction element.
Edit: If you want to use the toys with a speed boost, then get the Pact Commander mastery up, and use the toys in cities. You’ll have a speed boost.

He doesn’t work as a vendor during the Claw of Jormag fight, but he does sell the runestones before and after the event chain.
It’s worked fine for me on the maps I’ve been on.
Edit: Strike that. The one I just logged onto was bugged. 64.25.38.224

Omg that is hilarious and so sad.
During AB meta earlier, people started talking about how strange the Exalted suddenly look. After looking for myself, sure enough, all Exalted models I saw (including the tonic form) have some kind of glitch going on around the hands/arms. It persists while moving, and things get REALLY weird when you’re in one of the Exalted armors and trying to use the attacks, apparently. I took a couple of screenshots of the tonic form to show what I’m talking about.
I got the Rhendak ring after about a week and a half of camping the boss/chest. I gave up on getting All Seeing, Sam, Pendant of Arah, and Commissar’s Manifesto after many, many attempts. I’ll likely never finish the collection, which bugs me, but meh.
Thanks for the responses!
So buying it off the trading post is perhaps the best way?
I have 975 gold atm, about as much the zap is.Also, can i equip the precursor and still use it to craft the legendary?
Yes and yes. Just don’t transmute another skin onto the precursor weapon.
Do you have The Doomteeth uncovered (far upper left corner of the map)? There’s a POI over in that area called Precarious Ruin. Lots of people miss it.
It’s not a bug. The gloves will always appear white. When you dye them, you’re dyeing the aura around them. The darker the dye, the more noticeable the aura will be.
Yeah, they’re not going to be changing up anything in GW1.
The absolute quickest way would be to buy it from the TP (if you have enough gold) or buy gems, convert to gold, and then buy it from the TP. As for whether the forge or collection is “faster”, there’s no real way to answer it because the forge relies on RNG. You could get lucky and get it on your first forge attempt, or you could spend 500+g trying before getting it, or you could never get it. The collection doesn’t really take too much time, but it does take a lot of ascended mats (costly) and doing stuff in various parts of pve.
I’m not against such a title to go with the achievement, but I think “Compulsive Gambler” would be a better title.
If you ordered the HoT+gem bundle, then that’s just how it is; it does warn us when we purchase it that it can take up to 72 hours, at least. The 72 hour wait is simply there to make sure your card and info aren’t being used illegally.
Unfortunately, that’s just how the dye packs work. The text on them says “Contains one random armor dye from a pool of 25 colors that includes six exclusive colors.”
Man, I would buy this so fast if it ever became a gem store item.
Note that if you bought gold from a third party, your gold was probably taken away for breaking the rules of the game. If you didn’t buy gold from a third party, then you should contact support via a support ticket. https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new
Okay, I figures how to “earn” my points back. I had to log on gw1, set the HoM on character only, then back on account-based, quit the instance, verify gw2, and repeat one time. That’s quite funny for a fixing x)
Ahhh. Yeah, I remember some people mentioning doing that before. I had to do it once to get my points to show up in GW2, but it wasn’t because they were taken away. I’m glad you got it done, though.
When the stated goal of op is to “educate” the masses I think there is an agenda there.
Fair enough. I admit I haven’t read any of OP’s posts safe for the original post (and I only skimmed that one because Penguin posts to create heated discussions), and so if he said that, yup, he has an agenda. My point was that there is no overarching “gay agenda” or any similar agenda, which keeps being brought up.

relogging doesn’t help at all, even with a 1 hour gap, I just send a ticket to the support.
Did you do a full relog (close to desktop and restart) and try logging onto a different character? Because this seriously always fixes the issue for people who have HOM points. If you did all of that, then, yup, make a support ticket.
A relog fixes it if you received the mail. As was said above, it’s a bug that happens sometimes.
It’s not like you even had to log in THAT frequently. All you had to do was log in once every two weeks to get Season 2 content for free. I can completely understand the tendency to bounce from game to game, but doing so might mean you miss out on some things.
It used to be a great way to level. They removed exp gains from wvw a couple of weeks ago, though. So, the old advice no longer applies.
It annoys me more that my characters say stuff like “May Lyssa confound you” all the kitten time, I follow no gods and neither would my character.
Doesn’t this only happen though, if you have [Prayer to Lyssa] equipped?
That’s how it’s supposed to be, yeah. But there’s been a bug where your Human character will hear/say it if ANY other player uses it. That’s probably what he’s talking about.

You know it’s a weekend when threads like this ramble this much and last this long.
I can’t comment on the size difference. If you look at the statues of Dwayna throughout Orr, though, they look like the Scribe one. So, I imagine that’s the model it’s based on, rather than the double one we see in DR. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Statue_of_Dwayna_%28hero_challenge%29.jpg
FYI, this belongs under bug reports, not gen discussion
that being said, they probably thought as you did that as long as it was made and worn, it’d count, and skipped over doing a “cavity search” of the code. Unfortunately, in practice, the achievement likely counts when an UNbound legendary item BECOMES bound. Items that are BoA probably get ignored as a result, as those would also include the gifts n stuff I believe.
It’s probably more that the achievement was never converted from accepting only weapons to accepting weapons, back items, and (in the future) armor. It either needs to be re-named or re-done to allow back items/armor.
And Anet wonders why no one runs duel axes on warrior.
What does that have to do with the attack speed topic, though?
