I’ve been in-game for about half an hour now and didn’t even notice the thing until I saw this thread. It’s automatically collapsed, and so it’s not really in the way.
Have you checked all of your alts to make sure you didn’t accidentally move some over to one of their inventories?
I’m pretty sure it’s still there.
get over it i didnt even clicked on it to sell it and btw this doesnt make any sense GIVE ME MY GOLD BACK 30000 tickets and posting everywhere anet read it already 4000 times guess still ignoring me
The more tickets you put in, the longer it’ll take for you to get a response. Delete all of your excess tickets, and be patient. They have other tickets to handle, as well as yours.
Also, you DID click on it to sell it; if you hadn’t, it wouldn’t have been sold. It was clearly not what you intended to do, but it DID happen.
you probably did a missclick and no you can’t only sell for the highest offer you can sell for the lowest value of that item which is like 2s 64c ?
I think in that case, it would still sell the item for the highest bid price, and therefore for around 380 gold, not 7 silver.
When someone posts an item for below the highest buyer, it goes to the highest buyer; the buyer gets back any gold left over after taking out the posted cost. So if the highest buyer had a listing for 300g7s, the buyer would get back 300g in a case like this.
I don’t have a necro but i have to let you know that Necro is not good at pve content but very strong in pvp/WvW content
Necro is very good at pve content, as long as they don’t stick to strictly condition-based set ups.
OP: Staff is indeed pretty slow, especially for pve. Unless you’re dealing with large groups of mobs and need to tag, staff won’t really be the best. I primarily use axe/focus and dagger/warhorn, with most of my damage being done through DeathShroud. I still keep a staff on me for when I need range, and I also keep a scepter around.
As for feeling squishy, you honestly aren’t. Necros have one of the highest health pools in the game, and we have two health bars (the normal one and the Deathshroud bar). A big part of GW2 is knowing how to use dodges effectively to avoid taking heavy damage. Be proactive about your positioning during fights, and move a lot.
You’d have to contact customer support. https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new
Yeah, I’ve been experiencing it here and on the wiki. Pretty annoying at times.
I have similar problems, especially during anything where I’m forced into First Person POV; I love Portal and Portal 2, for example, but I have to build up a tolerance for the camera style because it makes me feel so dizzy and nauseated. Luckily, GW2 rarely puts me into that “omg I’m going to hurl” feeling, but it does happen in enclosed spaces. Unfortunately, there apparently isn’t a simple fix for it, or they just have chosen to focus on doing other things before tackling that.
You only get achievements every 5 HOM points. The HOM calculator page should update eventually, but I think the overall GW2 servers are being weird today.
The 5-step only happens after 30, where it is just titles. The first 30 ranks give you an unlockable. Have you been to the Hall of Monuments to see if the new unlock is there?
You misunderstood me. I was talking about the achievements and titles you get in GW2 for your HOM points, which occur every 5 HOM points.

As gumball said, Anet would have been sued if they reused music exactly without permission and acknowledgement. There may be some similarities because music composition follows a list of rules; thus, it’s very, very rare that you’ll find music that doesn’t sound similar to something else you’ve heard.
No problem. I’m glad I could help.
You can buy it on the TP.
Your friends need to each submit a support ticket for themselves to try to get it fixed.
Is your inventory full? That can sometimes make the forge not want to work properly. Also, as suggested above, try changing the order in which you’re putting the items into the forge; that can sometimes help.
I’m confused. That shield is the Flameseeker Prophecies, the current in-game legendary shield, yes? So, how is the image provided showing any possible HoT armor/weapon issue?
As for the clipping shown there, it is bad. But hopefully it’ll be fixed by the time the expansion happens. So, the clipping in the first image might not even come up in-game. Now, the clipping in the second one is indeed a common problem with certain armor/weapon combos (especially on charr).

It was a skin originally released at Wintersday. I can’t remember if it was on sale for Wintersday 2014, but I do know they brought it back in August of 2014 for the anniversary sales. So, odds are it won’t be back for a while, unless they do a big Christmas in July sale or something.
I’d personally prefer a place we haven’t been to. But if I had to choose between Cantha and Elona, I’d go with Elona. I really enjoyed parts of Cantha (Echovald Forest was beautiful, and the Jade Sea was really cool), but I enjoyed Elona a lot more, for some reason.
It’s ALWAYS been cartoony and a “novelty” item. The thing is a discoball with men wearing top hats spinning around it, and it leaves dance floor light footprints. I do not see how adding colorful lens flares and more color makes it MORE cartoony.
Personally, I love the changes.
Anet has never said that using the LFG to trade is against any rules. So, it’s not abuse.
I think it could definitely turn into a great sleeve once it’s in the hands of someone who could pull all the elements together well. I personally would definitely have the dragons (if not the fully detailed heads then maybe a silhouette of each) in there. Once the artist you want to go to is back in town, set up a consultation, and bring your ideas with you. I’m sure between the two of you a great tattoo will come about.
I played GW1, yes it was a very different experience, but it’s design was different too. You can’t really compare the two in this respect because porting from town to town isn’t exactly the same as porting from waypoint to waypoint. Now, if you want to compare them to rez shrines…sure, to an extent. But in GW1, you typically weren’t more than 10 or 15 seconds from the closest rez shrine either.
That’s what I was going to say about GW1, as well. It’s a very, very different set up, and it’s hard to compare the two when it comes to waypoints.
I have less than 100 slots on my necro, and I still never run out of space (and that’s even with one bag permanently filled with my alternate armor set, alternate weapons, and alternate trinkets). I just tend to leave the things I don’t desperately need in the bank, and then I carry a few bank access things for when I might need those things in the bank.

RNG is RNG. It’s annoying, but it’s not a bug.
You don’t have to even speak or own a mic to use TS to participate in events like this. All you have to do is listen. And pretty much any map with a chance at succeeding will be using some form of voice coms to set things up, and they’ll also meet up around 30 minutes before the event starts. As a side note, I was a member of TTS for a few months. I did events with them often, and I never had any troubles with them.
You can only do skill challenges once you reach level 13.
It’s a sales tax, which is required for many, many purchases in many states.

It’s an older slang word for someone whose personality is a bit “hard to swallow” or annoying.
In the case of Jormag Dragon Minions, any creatures can be and are turned into Icebrood, not just norn. No one is born an Icebrood, unlike Sylvari. Same went for risen; zhaitan simply turned the dead into his minions. Kralkatorrik corrupted all creatures who were below him as he flew over the land.
Also, I have the feeling Anet wouldn’t copy that bit of story (a race being created to serve a dragon) onto any future dragons.
Yeah, not a bug. It’s definitely annoying, though, since the commendation NPC in LA is inside Fort Marriner. Just an FYI: You can access the guild bank at Trader’s Forum by talking to the Guild Registrar. And, unless you’re below level 20ish and on an account created after the September patch, you can enter wvw via the UI.
Unless you’re wanting to do wvw with your friends, there’s no need to change servers to play with them. You can simply party up with some of them and join them on the map they’re in. The only place this won’t work is wvw.
As for how guesting works, it’s reset every time you log out of a character. So, if you log in, choose to guest, and then start playing your character, you’ll only be guesting on that server until the next time you log off of that character. You’d have to re-select that world each time you switched characters.
360 > 316. So, yeah, I still don’t get what you’re talking about.
It’s possible because you can’t damage the dust devils. The image just shows that your attacks can’t hit them.
If you’re going to attempt guesting, make sure you unrep any guilds you’re in. That’ll give you a better chance at getting on a new shard since the game won’t be trying to put you with your guildies.
A guardian’s only ranged option is scepter. Scepter is not very useful at all.
Actually, from what I’ve understand is that the guardian scepter auto attack has the best base DPS for single target.
Also Scepter #2 was supposed to be in the top tier dps for enemies with Large hit boxes.
You’re right about scepter 2. My bad there. That one is pretty good dps. However, the auto attack isn’t, at least from my experience and things I’ve seen.
That’s not a bug; that’s RNG. It’s pretty annoying, but yeah, not a bug.
You don’t have to make your character elite at all to do the boss; you could run it in rares and be just fine. It’s a pretty easy boss. Just scan the LFG for Silverwastes maps close to breach, and join in with breach and the vine fight.
Aggro in this game doesn’t really work like other games. No one class takes more aggro than others (except maybe in very specific cases with very specific bosses). Also, every race does every class well. As for wanting to mostly stay ranged, keep in mind that many fights (especially those in dungeons, double especially with most “meta” groups) are more quickly done in melee. So, picking something that can smoothly transition from ranged to melee might be good.
A ranger gives you a decent ranged option with the longbow, letting your pet tank for you as much as possible. Rangers also have pretty good melee options, too, with sword/axe. You can also melee with GS or axe mainhand, as well.
There’s also necromancer. Good ranged (staff and even deathshroud autoattack is ok, but that one does more damage close up). Good melee (dagger mainhand is great). Axe mainhand also gives you an option in between far range and melee.
Engineer is good and a lot of fun, but your best damage is with your kits. And with your kits, your only ranged attack option is grenades. But you have great bombs and tons of combo fields and finishers.
A guardian’s only ranged option is scepter. Scepter is not very useful at all.
Warriors obviously have two ranged weapon options, but, again, you do way more damage with melee. So, having a bow or rifle in one weapon set and then a melee combo for your other set (axe mainhand autoattack is your best DPS, really) is good. Then you can switch between the two as needed.
Mesmer and ele are also good ones to try out. Honestly, every class has good things about it.
If you have the trilogy, you can go over to Kamadan to see if anyone there would want to help you. Kamadan is usually the most filled place in the game, since that’s the main trading hub.
Another thing you can do if you have the trilogy AND Eye of the North is get yourself some heroes. If you have all of the campaigns and hit level 10ish, you should start getting a message on your screen anytime you go to Lion’s Arch; the message tells you to talk to certain NPCs to travel to Cantha, Elona, and the EoTN areas. You unlock two heroes (an ele and a monk) by just doing the very first “mission” in EoTN (it’s basically just you running with some NPCs out of an underground area), and then you unlock a third (a mesmer) by running to Eye of The North after finishing that first part. Similarly, if you take the quest to go to Kamadan, you’ll unlock four heroes (two monks, a dervish, and a warrior) after going to Kamadan for those quests. You can unlock one more (either an ele or a ranger, depending on your choice) by doing two more small quests there. Then you could stop your stuff there and go back to your Prophecies stuff.

Sweet thanks! If I’m randomly selected…
Who said it was random?
Gaile did. "We’ll be randomly choosing from who who PM me. "
Aw man. I’m moving down to near that area (about 45 minutes or so away) on Monday, but I sadly won’t be settled in enough to go by Saturday. I hope other people get to go and have some great fun.
Yay! I’m glad you were able to get it back.
That glory booster was put in your inventory before you got the experience for getting the vista and before you got the map completion rewards. So, you didn’t get that booster from map completion.
As for the gauntlet tickets, no other items are listed as dropping. You’d get a number of other items in your drop history if you got a reward for doing that LS step. That, combined with the extreme unlikelihood that queen’s gauntlet tickets would drop from a LS this long after that content, makes it seem unlikely that you got those as a drop, either.
“Locust Swarm: The casting time of this skill has been reduced from 1 second to 0.5 seconds.
Dev note: This change will give necromancers a bit more mobility."
I laughed so hard that I hurt myself.
People also seem to be missing anything big bonus of t his reveal… we are indeed getting another patch on the 27th, we aren’t going back on break like many people feared. Hopefully it gives us a nice epiloge to the story
They said nothing about the patch on the 27th being a content patch. It seems to be a balance patch, based on their post today.

When you find the tome, you have to carry it to Ogden. It’ll act as a bundle in your character’s hands. You don’t have it in your hands in your screenshot.
