There’s no need to rush to get that title. As long as you’re smart, you can easily get up to that amount by the time you reach 80 (assuming you actually do money-making things, such as killing mobs that drop things, doing dungeons when you can, salvaging level 68 and higher rares/exotics for ectos, and saving mats to sell when you need the gold).

My condolences to you and to everyone who knew him. It’s especially hard when someone so young passes so needlessly. But it sounds like he was a wonderful person and a great friend who touched many lives in a positive way.

Been There; Done That is for 100% map completion (all of the POIs, vistas, skill points, and waypoints in wvw and pve, except Southsun Cove and the new Maguuma Wastes maps). That is separate from getting all the regions of the map explored (which is what is shown in your screenshot on the right side).

I’m not a big Arah runner at all. Quite a while back, I wanted to buy the heavy chest from Arah, so I got enough tokens to get it. However, I accidentally bought the medium coat. So, my warrior didn’t get skeletal hands groping her chest, but my ranger (whom I never played) got a coat.

I wouldn’t actively choose a legendary to make right now, but you should go ahead and start saving up mats that go into all of them. I highly doubt they’ll make t6 (or any new mats possibly needed for the new legendaries) more accessible in the expansion. So, just save up your t6 and pricey lodestones.

Weapon for 80, Chest 70, Legs 60, Helm/Boots/Shoulders/Gloves 50 – that sounds about right.

Considering the amount of mats that go into crafting ascended weapons and armor, they should cost a LOT more than the trinkets currently do. At least 100 laurels a piece.

Exactly what i am talking about. I just googled the ways to farm foxfire clusters and found reddit thread about wave of banns. A lot of ppl that didnt use programs to automate the farm got banned.

Yes, they got accidentally banned. It can be hard to tell if someone is actually at their computer, actively farming themselves, or if they’re botting. So, when mass waves of bans happen like that, sometimes there are innocent players caught up in it. However, the innocent players who actually follow up on it and contest it will always be cleared.

As long as you’re not using a third party program to do the farming for you, it’s completely legal to do.

Honestly, it can be hard to define. This lupi “tactic” is often debated and discussed over in the dungeon forum, though.

Today I got silently kicked out of two pug arah parties for “attempting to push lupi”. The funny thing is I wasn’t even near lupi as I was running towards the exit trying to re trait since they wanted no wall of reflection.

Moral of the story is don’t play guardian in Arah, since kitten elitists might kick you so they can show off how they can solo lupi.

It does majorly suck that they kicked you for such a dumb misunderstanding. But there’s a difference between “kitten elitists” who want to “show off how they can solo lupi” and groups who want to actually do the fight instead of have it be over in one attack.

Technically, no, it’s not an exploit. Or at least it hasn’t been treated as such. But it is cheesy and quite lame, in my opinion. If you don’t want to do it, then don’t do it; if you don’t care, then do it.

How did they know how much health you had?

Seeing as how I currently have 900 skill points on my necro, over 800 on my main warrior, and around 500 on my guardian . . . I think I’m good and won’t really miss it.

They’re account bound on acquire. The only way to get them is to craft them. You can buy the recipe for it off the TP, and then you can use the recipe on a tailor, leatherworker, or armorsmith.

Srsly, though, OP. It’s cool to not like that shortbow (I don’t care for it) or that longbow, but there’s no need to be that silly.

There are three grawl karma vendors there in Fireheart Rise. You probably went to the wrong one. The one you need is the northern most one.

Yup, I’m able to go to other places. You need to make sure you’re looking at the proper surface level. If you’re on a map with multiple surface levels, you’ll need to keep an eye on it when looking for waypoints. In the case of Hunter’s Hearth, you start on on Tyria (Upper Level); you’ll need to go to the lower righthand corner of your world map to change your level to Tyria (Surface) to see the waypoints and such on the surface. The same goes for the Sylvari area, I know.

They’re not removed from the game; they’re still on the TP. They’ll probably eventually be brought back for a limited time sale, as will the other older sets that were taken off.

But you’re not bitter. There’s no need to act like every member of a group of players behaves a particular way.

OP: As others have already said, “role players” tend to get more into the story of their characters than non-role playing players. The role players will do anything from creating a detailed backstory to having full out areas where they interact with other roleplayers to act out parts of story via emotes.

I’m pretty sure it’s always been this way, or it’s at least been this way long enough that I don’t remember a time that it wasn’t like this. Normal dredge are immune to blind, but the big bosses (at least in SE) are not immune.

As has been suggested already, if you don’t have enough stunbreaks and stability: toggle walk when you get feared, and (especially during p1) use the bazooka to shield you. It’s very manageable.

They’d have to make it so that the top of the water is solid in order to have the broom do that, I’d imagine.

Stability, stunbreaks, and toggle walk. Also, if you’re using one of the pact bazookas, you can use the shield to avoid it, too.

Dagger offhand gives you a blind and condition transfer (for the #4 skill) and an aoe that does weakness and bleeding. Focus offhand is generally better suited for me, but both work. Warhorn is also a viable option for an offhand.

As for the healing well, the small amount of healing it does really wouldn’t be missed by your allies, unless things get very, very bad. But it’s obviously up to you; go with what works for you.

Nope. It’ll continue to show up as long as you’re in the starting zones. Once you level and leave the zone for a new one, it’ll go away.

I main a necro (power/death shroud build for pve; condi only for wvw), and I never have trouble getting into and staying in PUG groups for dungeons. However, if you try to take a necro into a high level fractal, you will (at best) be asked if you have another 80 you can switch to or (at worst) be kicked.

OP: The pve build you linked is for event farming with large groups of mobs. That won’t be too useful you as you’re leveling up. Just keep it simple as you’re leveling. Use what you feel comfortable with; I personally mostly leveled with scepter/dagger and staff, but towards the end I switched to axe/focus and dagger/focus, which both work very very well for me in all situations.

You don’t really need to worry about builds when you’re this low level; you won’t even have trait points to unlock traits until later. So, just go with what works for you. I’d recommend using consume conditions for your heal. Then I’d have at least one well (well of suffering is great), either spectral walk or signet of locusts for movement speed boosts (spectral walk gives you two stun breaks, but there’s a cooldown), and signet of spite. But you could switch those out with whatever works best for you. As for your elite, for leveling I’d get the Flesh Golem; he can be quite useful at taking the heat off of you (plus he does a mega chain knockdown).

As was already said, someone probably finally took offense to the name (which is indeed offensive to many English-speaking people) and reported it. Anet then stepped in and changed the guild’s name.

You don’t have to play with others to get the HOM points. You’ll have heroes and henchman that you can use to help you. But the GW1 population is still pretty active, just so you know, both for “roleplaying” characters and PvP characters.

You can hunt other players without using siege. Honestly, I hate trolling other players and hate being trolled; thus I just avoid that JP, except back when I needed badges (before you got them so easily as AP rewards).
