Honestly, the best thing to do would be to deposit any collectible mats. Gather everything you see (plants, wood, and ore), and make sure you keep up with what level of gathering tools you need as you go to higher level zones. Salvage any light and medium armor you get to help you get cloth scraps. Open any loot bags you get on that character, so you’ll get more mats. Also, doing map completion will get you mats and experience each time you complete a map.
I’m not sure what you mean by “what kind of level should I get my skills to before I leave Queensdale”, though. Queensdale, along with Hoelbrak, Plains of Ashford, Caledon Forest, and Metrica Province, is a level 1-15 map; you can leave anytime you want. But I’d recommend completing that map (all the hearts, vistas, POIs, waypoints, and skill challenges) for the reward before moving onto a new map.
You can’t use grandmaster traits until you’re level 80. You can buy them at any level, as long as you have the skill points and gold to get them, and you can unlock them. But you won’t be able to use them until 80. Once you hit 80, you’ll be able to use that and any other grandmaster traits.
You won’t be able to get a refund, I’m pretty sure. You could try contacting customer support to see, though. Link is at the top of the page.
Yeah, I can’t recall there ever being a “change email” button. Your email address is your log-in name and what your account is based on. To change that, you’d have to contact support.
This was something that started happening a few months back. There’s been no statement that it’s a bug or that it’s not a bug, from what I can recall.
The thing with WoW’s system is that it’s easy to accidentally flag yourself for PvP by going to the wrong place or doing something without noticing, even if you’re not on a PvP server and have no intention of doing PvP. There were at least a few times where opposing faction players would purposely run in front of me as I was AOEing/cleaving a mob, get me tagged for PvP, kill me, and camp my corpse. So, if for some reason this was ever put into GW2, I’d like for there to be no way to accidentally flag yourself.

There’s really no reason to assume that everyone who would like to see open world pvp is the type to camp and grief other players. Obviously, that type of person does exist (and that kind of behavior can be very easily drawn out in these situations), but not everyone will be that way.
And, conversely, not all of us who are against open world pvp are “afraid” of pvp. Some people prefer other elements. I’ve personally always preferred playing stories and fighting NPCs rather than other players. Maybe if the pvp somehow became incorporated with the story I might reconsider things, but I don’t see how they could do that without alienating both pvp players and pve players.
And what happens when you get Zap (or whatever other precursor) in your inventory without noticing, and then click autosell at the vendor or on the TP? Or if you accidentally leave one of your alternate weapons in a non-invisible bag, sell it, and then leave the map?
There are way too many ways that a button like that could end up as a big problem, especially with players’ tendencies to click without reading.
Well, what happens when you get Zap (or whatever other precursor) in your inventory without noticing, and then open the BLT tab and just click through each item to sell without looking at it?
My point exactly: people already don’t notice things enough, and adding a button that could be pressed to automatically sell everything would not help anything.

No, it doesn’t exist, and it probably won’t ever exist (and I’m so very much OK with it never existing).
Bloody necromancers.
When you buy certain editions of the game, you get the Mistfire Wolf elite with it, and so it’s automatically unlocked when you’re able to use your Elite utility slot. Buying those versions of the game are the only way to unlock that skill.
Yes, though your elite skill slot shouldn’t unlock until level 31, and he has it unlocked at level 21.
Ahh, true. I’d forgotten about that.
Yeah, my only idea is that it somehow carried over from Heart of the Mists.

This isn’t a bug. Vistas, POIs, and skill points can’t be seen on the map until you reach a certain level.
On the collection acomplihment the one I supposedly am missing is “recipe: Feast of truffle steak dinner ( master )”; which unlocks feast of truffle steak. dinner is not shown in the name under feasts once it is opened. Although, when I aquired the recipe, the collectin should of been aquired along with the reward, but it was not.
Please read what we’re telling you. Feast of Truffle Steak Dinner and Feast of Truffle Steak are two different things. Go make a Plate of Truffle Steak. Take it to the forge, and put it in along with 17 bottles of elonian wine, 20 crystals, and 50 mystic coins. You will then have recipe for Feast of Truffle Steak DINNER.
There is a Feast of Truffle Steak and a Feast of Truffle Steak DINNER. The Feast of Truffle Steak Dinner is the recipe you need for the collection The only feasts you have unlocked are Feast of Truffle Steak and Feast of Spicy Lime Steaks; you have to make the recipe for the steak DINNER.
We can still get at least one of each precursor by doing the collections. And no one is assuming the forge and RNG are somehow not going to matter anymore.
You chose to make that overpriced and useless thing.
The Crossing looks a lot better, in my opinion.
Engi and necro are the best bets for condi. And yes, condi builds are not desired for group play because of the state of conditions in pve. However, you can still do fine solo or in less rigid groups. Plus, conditions in pvp/wvw = awesome.
There’s a fairly important piece of information missing from the OP’s posts, which makes it impossible for anyone to comment on the drop-rate:
How many exotics and rares have you put into the Forge during this time period?
That.
Burrow and horror don’t quite rhyme. The rest, however, is pretty darn good.
Unless you want mats of a specific level range (ie. you want a chance at t3 mats instead of t5/t6), then yes, it’s best to wait to open until you’re level 80, in my opinion. The loot bags (I believe they’re actually called a ‘loot bag’) you get for personal story and such can also be saved for when you’re 80, if you want. The supply bags you get for leveling on occasion can be opened at any level because their contents won’t change based on your level.
Admins probably won’t answer this. It’s currently unavailable in the game, so you can’t get it.
Yes, any race can buy any other race’s cultural weapons; you just can’t buy another race’s cultural armor. And you can use any applicable skin on any like weapon/armor piece you have; level doesn’t matter.
You have to use the fire crackers in the map.
All of your account things (bank contents, gold, wardrobe skins, material storage, etc.) remain.
You’d have to contact support. You can click on Support at the top of the page. Also, the items you get in GW2 are obtained by getting Hall of Monuments points. You can check to see what (if any) rewards your joined accounts should have in GW2 at the link below.
You could go ahead and do map completion now. Also take danikat’s advice about having a level 20-30 character to do fast jumping puzzles for silver doubloons. Otherwise, just start saving up materials (especially t6 mats). Use laurels to get more t6, too.
Other than that, I wouldn’t really try to do anything else until you have the precursor.
Just pointing this out in case you didn’t know: When you get downed, your fourth skill heals you. As long as you’re not taking damage, it’ll let you fully heal.
You can get ascended trinkets with guild commendations and/or laurels. If you’re lucky, you can get ascended weapons or armor as drops from champ boxes, in fractals, or from certain world boss events. Otherwise, you have to craft it, which is not cheap.
There’s an internal cooldown. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mark_of_Evasion
Okay, so let me just be certain I understand.
If I only had one character and I wanted ascended heavy armor and a self crafted legendary greatsword, that character would have to be a weaponsmith and an armorsmith. Weaponsmith for the Gift of Light/Dark and armorsmith for the Gift of Metal for the legendary. Also Armorsmith for the ascended heavy armor. If I then decided I wanted an ascended rifle as well, I’d have to switch a profession to huntsman and level it to max before I could do that.
Correct?
Correct.
Shoulders are Stalwart. Pants look like Swindler.
Each character can have a max of two professions active at a time, without buying the gem store item that lets you have more.
You can learn all professions on a single character,
You lose no crafting xp earned but activating/deactivating professions.
There is a fee to activate/deactivate; it was 1 silver 80- copper the first time I did it.
Yes, I know. Hence why I said “two professions active at a time”.
Each character can have a max of two professions active at a time, without buying the gem store item that lets you have more.
I hide behind the pillar and pull his adds to me to kill them. Snipe down the couriers, too; you can also use CC on them (knockdowns, chill, immobilize, knockbacks, etc.). Once the guy’s adds are all dead, your allies will be rezzed, and you can all burn the Mouth down as much as you can. When he brings back his adds, pop back behind the pillar again and repeat.
Thing is, an average girls like things that are beautiful- and typical boys like things that are kitten and cool. Rainbows and uicorns are NOT kitten.
I’ll have to tell my kid and all his friends at school that they’re wrong about unicorns, I guess.
My problem is that it requires running fractals, which I have no interest in doing.
You just have to do a fractal level 1 once per day for 5 days (less if you take advantage of a daily).
Come on it’s not that difficult! Think about those who grinded fractals to get their ascended capacitors.
Of course it’s not difficult. But some of us just don’t care for fractals, even if they’re easy. The reason I don’t do fractals unless I HAVE to is because I don’t know if I’m going to get lucky and get four good fractals, or if I’ll end up with cliffside AND dredge AND Mai Trin. I don’t usually have enough time to sit down and do all of that.
Btw i cant realy imagin a charr ash legion thief with a legendary unicorn shortbow
And that is why you’re not in the Ash Legion! The Ash Legion know how to party.
Laurels, for sure. Just buy obi shards by the ton when the Balth temple is open.
Never. No thank you.
It was moved several months ago. It’s now along the main road at Breakneck Pass.
I’ve never had any problems with combat controls in GW2.
Yeah, that happens if two people with different story choices do an instance together like that; the “guest” party member will end up on the main party member’s story track if they accept credit for doing the quest.
No, you have to unlock the achievements on a character to do them on said character. So, you’ll have to do it once on your mesmer to do achievements.
And, for the love of god, let us forge exotic sigils and runes.
Since the NPE changes went in, you can no longer craft spears below level 15. This is apparently because you can’t do underwater combat before level 8 now, so the level 5 underwater weapons are no longer craftable.
Been there; Done That is world completion (POIs, waypoints, hearts, skill points, and vistas). It’s not the Explorer Achievements or JPs. The “couple of vistas in wvw” are what you’re missing.
