“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”

Looks to me like all ingredients for the unlimited version are available on the TP still.
The one I had tasted like undead chicken nuggets.
I can verify the chicken part.
Definitely chicken.
Chickenberry.
I seriously doubt that it will be yet another currency. Anet stated themselves that they feel they have enough.
“If” it continues the pattern as right now – individual items for a series of achievements, then I hope that they will be at least themed in a way – working together.
OP did not say laurels – but “rewards”. Although I have to admit I misunderstood it myself.
Ah thanks, wasn’t in game yesterday and did not know about the settler buff.
How would the system know that you exchanged gold to gems first in order to determine this? What if I did the exchange months ago and I’m effectively now getting more back?
You might like this.

It’s not a tax per se. If you would exchange x amount of gold to gems and then back right away you lose about 30% (on top of my head).
What you may be experiencing is that the exchange rate changes and you are as far as I know not locked into a rate – so from looking at it to the time you press OK it might have changed already.
Hope that helps.
The one thing I noticed new is that the fused gauntlet reward was tied into the achievement. So they are playing and experimenting with stuff.
Would love an update as well.
Unarmed combat – all professions. A “wristband” replaces the actual weapon and goes into the weapon slot. Different wristbands could offer alternative skills.
I would also like to add, that while the quiver was tempting, I’m tired of “temporary” sales. Add cosmetic armour and weapon skins to the store and keep them there.
Same reason why I am not going for the minis either.
I love to collect and have a complete collection – in time I could even spend the money for it – but I will not be pressured. As such collecting became secondary for me.
Find a more balanced approach to roll out items in the store and not just temporary vs again another set of town clothes (why I’m not buying those is another subject).
We thought we defeated them … but a small splinter group still out there is*, hiding, spying on us … waiting for the right moment. Do not cease to destroy the periscopes, our future might depend on it.
*noticed I had to go yoda here, presented by kitten for fun

The vendors are still there, have they officially said the tickets won’t come in Black Lion chests anymore?
Yes – in the update thread under news.

Next year or ever again? I’m under the impression it’s a one time thing, but heh.
400% MF and 5 crates in 3 hours.
That’s 600 gems worth of crates, I’d say the drop rate is pretty good.
How did you manage 400% MF?
You can’t sell or buy them, right?
I won’t be buying chests or keys going forward. It’s simply not a rewarding model.
Im having trouble figuring out why Anet would care what the player-set price of ectos are? o.O
They definitely pay attention to it. Because they don’t want content to be easily attainable, especially rare or treasured items. If people already have the highly-demanded items in, lets say, a week, then what is the purpose of them being in the game?
I think they’ll increase ectos to a point where it’ll be around 25s again. I don’t think they want it to drop below 15s again.
Last I checked ecto was around 20. I’ll buy up when it reaches 18s. I can buy up to 400g worth.
You can or you are willing to? Less then 20G profit (according to your numbers 18s and 25s) seems to be a bit low for binding 400G.
Unless that’s your gambling change that is.
Nvm – did not calculate correctly, should not do this in between other things.
~90G ok, looks better

Ambrosia, never go thirsty again!
Perhaps not much of an animation but it helps my Norn to focus in any situation.
Cheers
Never tried this, but what about a damaging utility skill – purging flames for example.
My motto: When in doubt, don’t.
So Cantha is finally coming, rejoice!
One can dream, right?
(…)I believe you meant “heroes.” Just saying.
’tis what I meant indeed. Thanks
Slow zooming, swaying to the movement,

Slow zooming, swaying to the movement,

Just you, culling.
I would love to wager that by the time MF will get a tuneover I have already finished my scavenger hunt, sitting with Rytlock at the new bonfire in my personalized home instance with seven “hero’s” in short distance at my command in full ascended armour.
Well, let me try to look at this from the other side.
Is MF food selfish?
Seven selfish shellfish.
Edit: Depends, are you having a ruminant tonic on the side?

Bug it, doesn’t make sense.
(…)
Lol.
I thought the quota for BLTC/RNG rants for this week was already met.
Does that tell us anything? One can only hope that there is need for fresh blood to continue the chest frenzy. If such fresh blood lacks perhaps the scale will tip towards not favouring RNG-chests.
Not holding my breath though
First you see the categories, there is either a checkmark, meaning all parts in this category have been done – or a percentage number – meaning some parts are still missing. Clicking on the category breaks it down to the part – again you see a checkmark for the ones done.
Can you provide a screenshot of what it looks like for you? I would say if all are checked off but you don’t have the achievement then you might want to open a ticket or bug report (?).
Not sure, just checked again, mine says 85% next to pvp – the last (82/83) I personally need is the trebuchet part.
Or it’s own category. What would you call a double-sigil?
Let’s call it a Rouven.
Rouven of Revenge for Greatswords!
(…)
Then make it happen please
Guardian Zoidberg wants to be popular!

You have to find the sweet spot.
How long can the stick with the carrot be before the ettin stops chasing it?
Edit: Replace ettin with your own favourite mini. I had a long text there before, but decided that it really only boils down to this – not trying to be negative either. Perhaps one more thing:
I don’t need someone to tell me what I want.
(edited by Rouven.7409)
Do you have a website (devianart or the like)?
Very impressive.
Yes, I believe you have to click on the actual “hint” icon (to the right iirc) and it will show you there. I have no clue if that wiki comment is true, I doubt it somehow.
Why stats anyways? Make the whole stuff traits and clothing be just about the looks. Done – amour tiers are changed from rare/exotic etc to dull/sparkly/with or without animations. Make town clothing available for combat so I can finally say “I’m just the cook” before I slaughter the risen who infested that poor seal.
It’s my new desktop background – love it.
Can’t wait until we get the “hide-behind-tree” emote.
(kidding grin)
thank you, that makes more sense. mostly AOE’s like double axe whirl. they do keep me stationary for duration. So that may be why.
Whirling Axe does not keep you stationary – but the mobs are immobilizing you.
Condition removal or pop endure pain once you are in the pack.
Imagine my surprise – I saw the event coming up on the radar – no [GROUP] tag in front of it, started to decimate the population of drakes on my way to mama …
Then little angles popped up over my shoulders, giving me advise:
“Sir, I suggest tactical retreat, not too fast, we don’t want to appear running.”
“Never! Charr, do you want to live forever?”
I chose to retreat.
I second the motion, have the perfect character waiting to be leveled for this armour.
Can you actually buy your own offers?
Never did this myself, but I guess you are talking about pvp tokens and such?
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mystic_Forge#PvP_items
Can you throw the minis into the forge or do anything like that? I can’t imagine I have a use for more than one mini balthazar, let alone 50.
No, the good thing is that they stack lol
Thanks @ scumbag mawile
You know they’re all 10-15 silver on the TP, right? o.o
Huh, I actually never bothered to check, are those the exotic everlasting versions?
I must have spend close to 2m karma so far on the boxes and still not one tonic sigh.
Spend the initial karma you have without the karma booster, that saves you a bit of time.
Don’t EVER play Lotro. Just saying.
The majority of emotes can be earned in game – just saying.
Now – I can’t go back to that style of play – raise reputation etc with daily quests and so on – but Lotro is actually very generous with how points are earned and what you are able to earn during their seasonal festivals etc. The most generous I’ve come across yet.
I have no problem with emotes being offered in the store here – even if exclusively. Two things I would like to see improved:
- don’t make emotes an item that has to be carried in your bag
- try and find better balance for some one-in-a-million “items” hidden in the chest
I actually misread to what you were referring to (“meat” being used as an insult in that context). I agree there.
As to evidence … well, let’s just put it this way – for this medium of story telling I would consider it less advisable for the publisher to openly state something like this, as are other topics that are considered crimes or taboo’s etc.
Just believe what you like to believe in the context of this fantasy environment.
All I meant to say (again, I believe I misunderstood your notion) is that it does not have to be looked at negatively, but could also be a warrior code.
I applied the Rune of Accuracy (5% crit) to one of my weapons and it does not count that as well – so I hope it’s only a display thing
The “meat” reference seems more an insult. It equates humans with animals.
(…)
No it does not. Many warrior cultures actually ate their enemies for a few different reasons. Apart from cultural or ceremonial reasons there could also simply be … necessity.
The scale or war is not really portrayed in a game and maybe should not – but we are talking more from a lore perspective, right?
I would love to see a separate aquatic trait system, however, for me personally it would be important to improve perspective and depth – I often can’t tell where the mob is in relation to me. One more thought – there should be a major city that provides all services (Bank, TP, crafting etc) underwater.
No sorry, will have to check every week I guess. At least I don’t think they published that kind of info.
