“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Other Asura claim its dangerous, and likely there will be some world event/update involing it eventually. Or Moto just gets trapped inside the box himself.
Mhh, he does say that he likes to think inside the box, doesn’t he?

The only PvE title that involves any competence and work is ‘Been there, done that’ …
Personally I’d count that one to the PvP titles. Grey zone yes, but I’ve been there and done that for the PvE side a long time ago and still need to finish those 4 WvW maps.
Perhaps just to add – you can damage more than one opponent. In your video you are taking the melee mob out first while getting hit from afar. Try to position yourself so that you have both mobs somewhat together in front of you and each swing will hurt both of them.
I agree with Secro – try different weapon combinations. Both the mace and shield are more defensive and in this scenario you would like to kill them quicker.
Have fun
Close to Ministry WP if I remember correctly, kinda across your bank. Open your map and look for a scale symbol.

Who’s keeping track and still counting the odds? Or counting and then calculating the odds. Whatever is more effective!
Thanks Asilithiel for the detailed list.

I’m fine with pricing. In order for me to buy more then what I already have I would need to see two things:
a) a separate storage system (aka wardrobe)
b) extended usability, either allow them to be worn in-fight or automatic switching back after a fight.
Something like that.
The song “son of a preacher man” popped into my head … have to shake it off!
“You did not know you need this? Now you know you need this to know what you need to know, son.”
Maybe I’m missing something, but we’re talking about ‘stalking’ in-game?
Why is this an issue?
This isn’t the real world, they don’t know you, they just follow some pixels in game. There is nothing they can do to you, or your character, except annoy you, and that’s only if you let them.Just go about your daily business as though they’re just another random npc or something – worrying about this stuff, or giving any sort of feedback to people like that (i.e. saying “leave me alone” or “stop following me”) only gives these people the attention they want, and lets them know that they have an effect on you.
Just ignore them, they’ll get bored and go away.
While I fundamentally agree with you (in a sense that I would just go about my business) – there is not really one good reason why someone you have blocked should see that you are online let alone where you are.
At least I can’t think of one …
Would definitely be an easier option than to have to report those people.
Weird. Good luck to anyone who has seemingly very persistent “friends”.
Ok, I understand all of this, but since you are not blocking individual characters but instead complete accounts – someone who is blocked cannot contact you in any way.
Or am I mistaken in that regard?
This may seem like a really stupid question, but what is the vault transport good for?
As in – practical application. I have not yet come across a need for it, am I doing something wrong?
Oh yes, get rid of DST. Anet, make it happen!

-So who’s Ottilia?
-Ottilia? She’s…just a girl I grew up with. I’ve always looked after her, but she’s never really noticed me.
-Sounds like she means a lot to you. This could also represent a sense of insecurity, but without going against what we’ve already been presented with.
No, it would show someone who is in far better control about his emotions than our “hero”. He is young, hot blooded, inexperienced but full of righteousness. Someone who does not understand larger concepts, otherwise he would have not barged into Rytlocks office like that.
He grew up without his mother – most often/traditionally the person you can be emotional with growing up – the person who will comfort you.
At large, to maybe get back on topic, I would say that the whole storyline itself is not particularly goofy.
Well, let me have a look there, that’s clearly a seeam-oth, eh?
Now you’ll have to excuse me, it’s getting cold, I will close my igloo again.
It’s actually a pretty common theme to have the fearless warrior be afraid of something … very normal, or being shy around women. I did not perceive that part as being out of character, instead more of an addition. Poor lad grew up without his mom. Not every though as nails guy has to be a macho on top.
Hehe, I like the suggestion with Faux Pa(w)s. Would make it a charr in that case though.
Or make it Faux Hawk with the proper hairstyle and of course using the hawk as pet ^^
So I guess Eir doesn’t count. I’m trying to dance around what I can say here on the forum … um, ok, let me put it this way … I think Eir is pretty
“What honey? No I never said she looks as good as you! Doghouse? Not again! Honey!”
Plus – holiday recipes. They not only need the special time limited ingredients but also the regular stuff. Let’s take Halloween, for a lot of people who only started in December it will be the first time this year, other’s weren’t ready last time and/or the potential of new recipes.
Don’t underestimate the power of fluff. Good looking fluff
Always in motion, the TP is.
I meant there’s always new people coming, others leaving etc.
That would be a great incentive for group-play. The more people come together, the more skills we get. Powerful skills like the skrittinizer, shiny-mass-hypnosis, skritt-stampede and last but not least skritt attack formations. Think romans, think the turtle!
Yes, who need elves when you can have skritt, they are actually like dwarves really.
No no no, was never the elves. It is statistically proven that every successful game in the last 127 years had dwarves. Only because of dwarves was there a need for a taller slim race to balance the average height and thus meeting the Fantasy Rulebook regulation 205.3. Same regulation works for intelligence as well ( – see orcs) and the need for multiple ear-shapes.
Norn are clearly the local dwarves. Pretty clever to get a round the height average by making them tall in the first place.
Now, someone solve the riddle of the asura … small and very intelligent. No orcs to create balance. Huh, oh well.
Dear NinjaEd,
every time when I unload my pistol(s) upon an unsuspecting enemy, the loud noise gives away my location, what can I do?

If you’re a cook you could buy some bananas.
(just saying bananas, read crafting food in general)
Not that you will need 280k karma for that …
Haha, nice idea. So the next installment of the living story will feature “golems vs plants” which covers the new asura and sylvari figure.
Yes, Logan will be the link to the past.
The bank? Noo, give them to me, I’ll show them places. Fresh air, clean water, introduce them to some strawberries, the whole works. I entertain my dandy lions.
Anyways, they should scale, similar to other vendor trash that scales in “value”.
Yes true, I forgot the ascended stuff, although I kinda mentioned them – laurels, dungeon tokens and karma.
People also post when they are lucky – I don’t know. Hey don’t get me wrong, I’m not upset or anything – but it kinda makes me go “meh” for the most part (more and more).
Was it actually confirmed anywhere how long the vendor will stay?
Feeds Bee’s!
Entertains Kid’s!

A true multifunctional plant, much like corn.
I still blow the seeds off a dandelion, when the neighbour is not looking …
@ LFk – most things are like this already? Can’t get a mini wolf or a mini cat because I need laurels, a few things for karma, aye and the usual dungeon tokens.
But pretty much everything else has a price sticker?
Just make them worth 2s instead of 2c
Let’s see what the average will be
Statistically inaccurate
Surveying forums leads to massive biases including Sample Bias and Response Bias. In this case there are at least 3 other biases not being accounted for off the top of my head.
I love it when people bring up actual biases. Mmmm delicious statistics/psychology. You’re my favorite dev poster now.
Does that make you Dev biased?
I like it when it’s an extra, but not really when it’s the only option. Let’s say for example the backpacks (charr/quaggan) – you can buy them and you can “win” one with a different colour.
Other than that it’s a great gold sink. Wonder at what point the gem price (-range) will hold somewhat stable.
Hehe, for the fun of it – sorry, I meant science, another 15, no ticket. But a total makeover kit, one set of mini’s and 5 transmutation crystals.
6 chests – no ticket.

Good book.
Problem of the gold to gem conversion perhaps. How to put a price tag on something at which most people don’t convert their gold to gems and have everything right away.
Might be a reason, not that I like it.
Figured it helps more than if I tell you which ones they are
Have fun!

Story options: Found a shiny – lost a shiny – never had a shiny.
Very nice
Instead of looking at the PvE part, look at the TP part. Not talking about getting rid of it but changing the design. I don’t understand why my (sell) offers stay up indefinitely, there is no incentive on finding a competitive price. There is more money destroyed if someone has to re-list his products and pay the listing fee again and it will make people think a bit more about it.
Official answer in another thread – I’m afraid you will only have the option to wait a bit, hopefully not too long.

Oh duh, need more coffee.
Like the charr – didn’t really think to check that thread.
Lovely as all your doodles. Have you ever tried taking your doodles and making a bigger piece out of it?
At the current plant/tree ratio in relation to the area at approx 50% max volume (considering the natural plant/tree communication frequencies) would result in a resonance of Tyria’s core at a massive scale (or roundabout the equivalent of 126.3 teratons of TNT). This would wake up the long forgotten dark creature slumbering very very deep down ahead of the prophesied schedule of expansion 4.3 with patch 2.
That and the statue of Lion’s Arch might get a crack or two.
Other potential side-effects (pure speculation) might include a major headache for Zommoros.
If you are using high difelity speakers (if you don’t know what that is you don’t have one) you don’t have to worry about them, but your monitor will scatter. People with cheap head sets and speakers do not have to worry as they are not able to replicate the volume and frequency needed.
CHARR NEED NO HANDSOME.
WE KILLED OUR MODELS WITH IRON AND WAR MACHINES.
I beg to differ, we modeled our models with iron and war machines.
Not by Anet tradition. As you can see from the other posts, they always did something special in game in the original Guild Wars. My favorite was the commando missions.
Interesting! Thanks for letting me know, looking forward to it.
This one perhaps? Don’t recall on top of my hat.
