[Suggestion] Flame Blast

in Engineer

Saturn.6591

I’m just curious if there’s any balancing problems associated with if we change Flame Blast such that it just travels perpendicular to the ground but not restricted to land (like the flamethrower’s autoattack, not like say, elementalist Vapor Blade) when you don’t have a target.

The problem currently is that I feel like there’s really no benefit in making it shoot in the direction of your camera. There’s a handful of cases if any at all where it’d benefit you to be able to aim up, and rest of the time, it’s a hindrance because without a target, it’s basically restricted to being a melee skill.

…what?

I’m sorry, but I don’t get at all what you’re talking about. xD (Well yes, I know that you’re talking about FT 2, but the rest doesn’t make any sense to me. Maybe it’s because I’m not a native english speaker, or due to me not using flamethrower all the time… or dunno.)

The only thing that confused me personally with FT 2 is (as I was using FT a lot in the Halloween labyrinth), that I only ever seem to get the blast finisher if I manually blast it and not if it blasts automatically upon reaching the target. Also, sometimes it looked to me like it would reach the target and then just stay there without blasting (meaning that I suddenly noticed I can still blast it manually after a while, though I’m not sure if that blasting actually had any effect).

My mouse only has two extra-buttons and I’m doing just fine. And those two extra-buttons are used for “about face” and “target nearest enemy”, so yeah…

The most important remapping I’ve ever done is to disable dodge on double-tap and bind it to mousewheel-clicking.

^ Toolkit autoattack is actually quite decent too underwater (especially if you take too much damage). Just recently (around a month ago or so) I’ve noticed by coincidence that it actually has an evade built into the autoattack-chain underwater. This isn’t documented in the wiki, and I’ve also not seen it mentioned anywhere else before.

It’s in the upcoming November patch. Hasn’t been implemented yet.

Seems like this ends up being said every time there’s a Ready Up with balance changes – “It’s in the upcoming patch, not this one that just happened. It hasn’t been implemented yet.”

Yeah, because each time there will be people who can’t read; because if they could, they would have seen that they’ve given a date on which it will be implemented – in this case, it’s november 4th.

Seems fair....

The thief is managing to do this because all of the opponents recorded in this video have the tactical command of a potato and the playing ability of a chestnut.

lmao

But yeah, iirc the guy who made the video even said that this build (without using weapons) can’t kill anyone who’s actually prepared. He also said that for example one of the eles he dueled in the video only lost in their first duel… the next four duels, the ele won. But since this is supposed to be a just-for-fun-video, he obviously didn’t include the fights where he lost (except the one at the very end of the video). Then again; he also claims that if he’d have actually used weapons, he’d have had quite an easy time killing those people again and again. That might be or might not be; but Dire+Perplexity+lots of interrupts is indeed quite strong and kinda hard to counter for most people (if you also have some other means to apply pressure, that is; which is certainly the case with the bleeds from caltrops/dodgetrops (great wordcreation btw lol)).

Lol, that’s awesome… like three or four days ago I stumbled over Lindsey Stirling’s “Shatter Me” by coincidence (I didn’t check her stuff out in a while) and thought something like “Someone should probably make a video full of Mesmer-pwnage that fits the song, because it’s like THE Mesmer theme-song haha”. And now I see you guys mentioning it here in the first posts xD.

With that being said… I myself listen to the bgm and sfx of Guild Wars 2. I want to hear what’s going on around me, and I also think the bgm fits the game more than any other music would (while playing myself that is; of course for WvW-roaming videos or the like, other music makes sense). Also, the music would distract me too much. Either I’d listen to the music and wouldn’t be able to play properly (kinda deadly if you fight other players), or I would concentrate on the fighting and totally forget about the music (meaning “not even consciously hearing it”), thus there would be no point in it playing.

What's wrong? No damage. Just dead mesmer.

Saturn.6591

As others have said, Soldier’s gear and (in addition to that) 6 points in Chaos are probably the reason why you don’t do much damage. Also, Runes of the Mesmer… why would you use those in anything that’s not an interrupt-build?

Then I’d also suggest switching out Portal for condition-removal (the mantra one is quite awesome for example). You will not need Portal as much in WvW (unless you really can make it work and don’t need the condi-removal because you’re pro enough to mostly avoid getting conditions applied to you), and in PvP you also only really should bring it if you’re fighting with an organized (teamspeak) team that can make use of it.

Then about the mouse pointer being lost in the screen and always hitting chat/mail/whatever: Try tweaking your settings for mouse pointer sensivity. I don’t remember if there’s a special ingame setting for it (would need to check; but can’t right now cause I’m about to go sleep haha), but there’s one in Windows for sure. Also, some special mice have their own configuration menu, though I don’t think you’re using such a mouse. Also, I very rarely find myself clicking stuff while running around or in combat. I usually hold the right mouse-button down almost permanently (there are a few exceptions that I won’t write down in detail now) and use “select next target” and/or “select nearest target” for targetting my opponents. That reminds me; you should disable auto-target if you didn’t do so already.

As for buttons in general, I play with a mouse that has two additional buttons on the left side, and that’s enough for me. I pretty much use the standard-keybinds, except for: Q look behind you, V draw/sheathe weapon; dodge is on mousewheel-click (don’t use dodge on double-tap), and the two extra-buttons on the mouse are used for target nearest opponent and about face. Important is, that it works out for you. I myself wouldn’t want to play with a mouse that has like 20 extra-buttons… I’d probably always end up pressing the wrong ones, or multiple ones together. Don’t need that… I’ve got a keyboard after all. ^^

Hmmm… I’ve recently had some success playing a condi-spec with 0/6/5/3/0, with Scepter/Pistol and Staff. Fury for phantasms, pistol traited and condi-removal on heal. Worked like a charm for me so far.

In my opinion, MtD works/will work quite well if you can actually keep your opponent near your clones. That’s probably the case while fighting on point in PvP (assuming you risk getting yourself killed by teammates cause you brought a condi-Mesmer to PvP ;D) or in duels that happen in a rather small area (like the entrance-area of Obsidian Sanctum). There, your clones can shine and you can also shatter them for some nice condi-burst if your opponent runs through them. But in WvW, where your opponents can freely move around and kite you, that gets a lot harder. Your overall pressure will be much lower, and your defense as well, since you need to sacrifice quite a few other things to have the points to go 6 into Illusions.

"The Staff is a Crutch"

in Mesmer

Posted by: Saturn.6591

Saturn.6591

Hmmm… one thing I can say for sure is, that I’ve (that’s in WvW) always liked Staff for two things:

1. It indeed adds a lot to your defense. Also makes it possible to kite opponents that you’d otherwise hardly be able to kite. To me, that’s quite important whenever a fight goes longer than a couple seconds. Because you know… your opponents hurt if they hit; especially if you’re built glassy. Then again… I’m by no means a “pr0” (not terribad either, though :P) and I prefer playing more defensive specs, since I’m not much of a fan of specs that get you killed as soon as you make one little mistake (like, missing your burst once, thus your opponent whacks at you like no tomorrow). I did play zerker shatter too, though. And those numbers can be awesome. But the numbers of your opponent are equally or even more awesome (and usually also much easier to apply), and they WILL get those numbers as soon as you make a little mistake. (So in a way, anything that isn’t fully glass could be considered a “crutch” haha).

2. Running away. And I’m not talking about running away from single players that you can’t beat (although it could be handy for that too of course). I’m talking about running away from 5man-groups, or even 40man-zergs that have nothing better to do than chasing you over half the map. Phase Retreat is such a beautiful, lovely and awesome skill. Blink, Decoy, Swiftness and Mass Invisibility just aren’t always enough to run away from Eles, Thieves and GS/Hammer-Warriors. But with Phase Retreat, it normally is possible to outrun them (unless you’re very unlucky and/or make some mistake).

A toolbar icon would probably be a good alternative, although I think that some might complain about yet another icon cluttering that bar.

I myself really don’t mind the “hobosacks” btw. Seriously, it just makes sense that you do have a special piece of equipment on your back if you’re using something like a flamethrower or an elixir gun. Also, I’m only using kits in combat, where I usually don’t really have time to look at my character in awe anyway. Out of combat, I’m not using kits… so yeah, for me it’s a non-issue. But I guess that belongs into the other thread. (Btw, shields are a much bigger annoyance in my opinion, but I guess it wouldn’t make much sense to carry them around anywhere else than on the back, so yeah.)

Indeed, Sigil of Air is single target. That’s why I’m thinking in using Sigil of Fire instead, since that adds some more AoE, even though it procs a bit less often and hits for a bit less on each target. It probably still outperforms Sigil of Battle in my build, though.

throwing mobs from cliffs

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Saturn.6591

Saturn.6591

It just annoys me if I’m fighting a mob, bring it almost down and then it starts running away and quickly regenerating. I mean, I then obviously run after it and attack it like crazy, thinking that it will be in leash-range again (since it was a couple seconds before) and stop regenerating HP. Nope. It usually keeps running and regenerates and is invulnerable until it’s at full health again.

I’ve also had it happen that a mob right next to me will become invulnerable for no reason. Those are usually flying mobs, though. And yes, they could definitely attack me; usually even without needing to move.

As for the throwing mobs off cliffs part… I too wished many times it was possible. I think to know why you can’t do that, though… simply because mobs are not smart enough to know that it’s a bad idea to stand next to a cliff if their opponent has skills that can push or pull them.

[Suggestion] Commander Tag

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Saturn.6591

Saturn.6591

Exmaple: (WvWvW) multiple tags can be an issue especially when some have 1 thing on their mind and another may have a seperate idea (ie: 2 red tags 1 guy may want to go camps while another is going towers)

The problem is, that the very same tag will not do the same thing all the time. I’ve yet to see a commander who only goes for camps, or only goes for towers. They all do different things and it might change every 1-20 minutes. Sometimes they might even decide to go cap a tower but then rather go and help out defending Hills because a huge blob was reported to be attacking it, changing their course of action multiple times in a matter of less than a minute. They would spend more time adjusting the text of their tag than actually playing.

It’s rather easy… just make some guidelines on your server. For example, blue tags are public raids (aka pug-zerg), yellow tags are closed guild raids, etc.

In PvE, it’s even easier. “If you want to help with this, stack up on the blue tag!” – “More players needed for /dancing at the red tag!” This was done before too; just that you had to say the name of the commander instead of the tag-color.

Symbol of swiftness - suggestion.

in Guardian

Posted by: Saturn.6591

Saturn.6591

That’s fine though. In fact, temporal curtain was what I had in mind when I thought of the line of warding idea for gaining swiftness. As far as I am concerned, the idea of running in one spot, or standing still to go “faster” is just absurd to begin with. You use swiftness because you want to move around faster, not so that you can stay in one place… faster… X__x

Funny enough, Mesmers asked for quite a while to get Temporal Curtain changed to the old Symbol of Swiftness mechanic, where Swiftness would get “refilled” to a certain amount of Swiftness. Which is indeed way better than Temporal Curtain right now… which in return means that you’d technically want Symbol of Swiftness to be reverted to its old functionality. Then again, it wouldn’t work as well anymore with multiple Guardians all dropping the symbol in a line.

Also, there’s another severe mechanical flaw with symbol of swiftness that goes beyond just the concept of having to stand still to get a speed bonus, and that is that it also damages enemies. If you’re roaming around in pve or wvw and you pop down a symbol to go faster, then some random enemy creature walks into it, it immediately slows you down to combat speed because the enemy gets damage. Line of warding wouldn’t have this issue because it doesn’t do damage, it just blocks enemy movement, so you can pop it down without having to worry about slowing yourself down

That would make Line of Warding superior to Temporal Curtain then in terms of giving Swiftness, haha. That’s because Temporal Curtain very often puts you in combat due to it crippling every random mob that crosses it (can even be a bunny). Earlier, you could activate the pull to prevent that, but at some point they changed it so that the pull also puts you in combat. Meh. ^^

Symbol of swiftness - suggestion.

in Guardian

Posted by: Saturn.6591

Saturn.6591

I’ve suggested this before, but I’d just change the source of swiftness on the staff to the line of warding, so when you run over the line, it grants swiftness. This would make it easier to use on the move and would make LOW a more useful skill overall (it becomes a better escape and movement tool).

That would be the mechanic of Temporal Curtain then. If you run through your Line of Warding even with just half a second of Swiftness on you, you will not get any Swiftness at all. Because if that’s not the case, you could stack ridiculous amounts of Swiftness by running through the same wall multiple times.

Pull range should be 400 not 600.

in Guardian

Posted by: Saturn.6591

Saturn.6591

Lol, for a moment I was like “Wait… Guardians have a pull?”, until I remembered GS 5 haha. Seriously, whenever I’ve fought a Guardian, that skill was the least of my problems.

So does this mean OP learned how to counter Rangers and lost to a Guardian now?

I’d guess not; but complaining about the same class all the time gets boring. ^^

Symbol of swiftness - suggestion.

in Guardian

Posted by: Saturn.6591

Saturn.6591

I guess the problem with that would be, that it would stay active for such a short amount of time, that only those who stand in it/almost stand in it when it’s casted would get the swiftness buff. If you’d want it to stay up longer but with 15 seconds of swiftness at once, you would have to make it the way Temporal Curtain works… only get swiftness if you don’t already have any swiftness on you. And believe me, there’s a reason why Mesmers always wished for Temporal Curtain to at least work like the swiftness symbol used to work before it was changed.

Oh final note, I also run Hoelbrak on my knight/berserker setup but I do use Sigil of Air over Battle. This is because the additional burst helps me more than some extra power. Sigil of Battle also has to build up to reach the 6 stacks. I didn’t do the math (yet) but I believe a Sigil of Air/Fire will do more for you than Battle will.

Hmmm, that’s interesting. It’s hard to tell, since the additional power helps every single one of my attacks, while the fire/air sigil adds some damage every time it procs. I guess crit-chance is a factor here, because it determines how often those sigils proc (e.g. if they proc as soon as they are off cooldown). Then again, additional power also makes for higher damage with crits, so…

Would indeed be nice if someone would do the math for those things someday, haha.

Heya, thanks for your input (also thanks to the other guys who gave input of course).

That’s right, I was thinking if I should switch out EG for Rocket Boots when there’s many big groups running around and I’m more likely to have a sudden need to run away. In those cases I would most likely also have to adjust my traits accordingly I guess, since I will then lack a stunbreak. Or maybe I could use Elixir S instead in those situations, as it is a stunbreak and has some stealth. Hmmm…

Then about the Sigil of Battle… I would probably use it instead of the Sigil of Fire then, as I do think the Sigil of Cleansing is almost mandatory. However, it will remove some AoE-potential (although I already gained an additional AoE-attack by using Elixir Gun), but will allow me to keep up 9 stacks of Might, which in turn adds 315 power and condition damage to all my attacks. I’m totally gonna consider doing that.

Oh, and…

Have fun with your build !

Thanks!

What does the fact that a person is he or she have to do with anything.

Not really with much; just that he said “he” when it is widely known (also: see the other posts here in this topic) that Vee Wee is a “she”. So I just added it as sort of a hint or so. I’ve never said it’s extremely important or something.

Otherwise “he” is an appropriate pronoun for reference to anyone in the English language.

No, it’s not. It’s common to say “guys” if you are refering to a group with mixed genders or if you don’t know. It’s also common to use “he” if you do not know the gender of a person. But if you’ve read the other topic, or even just this one, you know that Vee Wee is female and thus, “he” would have to be “she”. Then again, it’s not that extremely important, hence I’ve just added it at the end of my post.

It may matter to you what sex someone is, but I prefer not to judge by that.

It’s not about if it matters what gender someone has. It’s about refering to someone correctly/incorrectly if you actually know the gender. Or would you tell to a muscle-packed guy who got angry cause you refered to him with “she” that he shouldn’t be upset cause gender doesn’t matter? Or would you tell a female cop she should calm down if she gets upset because you keep addressing her with “Mister”? After all, gender doesn’t matter at all, right?

So are you also going to argue that he didn’t post on multiple accounts?

I’ve never said such a thing. It is widely known, that ArrDee as well as ellesee are Vee Wee’s accounts. She even said so in every post, lol. But as far as I know, having more than one account isn’t a crime or something. Many people have more than one account.

And that it started because he made multiple post that got the first account banned?

“It” started? What started? Also, it appears you’re a forum-mod, since you know exactly why an account gets temp-banned.

Do accounts get banned for being polite?

I do not know what the reason for the ban was, and neither do you. What I DO know however is, that many of the accusations against her lack any proof. Not guilty until proven guilty… does that ring a bell?

It also doesn’t help that some people seem to be so desperately determined to attack Vee Wee on every possible occasion, that even in this topic, they cannot just write something like “I won’t miss her since I didn’t like her.” No, instead they start making those long lists with random claims again. Or they go and make totally unrelated posts about the question if the gender of a person is something you should judge that person by or not…

I suggest running with Elixir Gun instead of Rocket Boots, the Elixir Gun will help you a lot more and it has a stunbreaker. With traits I would invest 2 points into Tools, removing 2 points out of Alchemy. Having reduced cooldowns on your toolbelt skills is kind of important and the 10% damage increase on your initial damage is also really strong. For armor I would go full zerker accesories and no a mix of Knight in it as well. You got enough defense with just the Knight armor. Rune choice could also be Hoelbrak instead of Pack to couter the condition meta in WvW. Other than that, all good.

So that means you’d suggest something like this…

For the missing accessories, you can get them cheap from the TP. Either you get two “Opal Platinum Earring” which are around 3 silver each and have Precision/Power/Ferocity as stats, or you go for “Ruby Platinum Earring” which cost a bit more than 8 silver each and have Power/Precision/Ferocity as stats. Those are lvl 65 masterwork equipment. There’s also a version with rare (yellow) rarity, but they are at least 25 silver each and the difference in stats just isn’t worth the price-difference imo; especially not since you’re already lvl 75.

1. I actually like how your armor looks; except for the helmet. I’d hide that one (there’s a little checkbox at the equipment slot). But of course that’s up to you. ^^

2. I’m one of the few who has actually read your original post carefully enough to know from the beginning that you’re already using quite good gear in terms of rarity and stats. ;D

3. I think putting something into those two accessory-slots will add a nice bit of damage.

4. I would NOT suggest to go for a full exotic set of gear now. You’re already level 75. If nothing helps, go to a map with a little bit of a lower level and do some dynamic events and stuff there – you will be lvl 80 in (almost) no time. In my opinion, it would be silly to invest gold into a full exotic set just to need to buy another one shortly afterwards. On a sidenote, I always level my characters in Masterwork (green) quality gear to 80, so you’re actually better geared than any of my chars below 80. ^^

5. You can try EotM, but imo it’s very situational. If you’re lucky, you get lots of exp. If you’re unlucky, you get barely any.

6. Welcome to Guild Wars 2 (a bit late to say that, I know)!

Edit: Mainhand Axe indeed does way more damage in a powerbuild than mainhand Sword (except for Sword 3 if used on a mob with low HP… but mobs in open world usually don’t have enough HP to really make use of this skill). You might want to try it (the autoattack, that is).

It has tons of bleeding, perma-burning, some AoE/tagging-potential too, and very good mobility.

Grenade kit is just excluded from auto because they have trouble realising it. If they wouldnt, it would be already in.

1. Get your facts straight before posting.
2. Read the thread you’re posting in before posting.

Number one because they already do have an autoattack underwater. Adding it on dry land probably wouldn’t be that much of a problem.

Number two because the actual reasons are that you would NOT be able to hit anything that’s moving if it would be a normal auto-attack. And THAT would be a real mess for the players.

It’s also one of the new traits, which is why it isn’t unlocked automatically in PvP (iirc traits I-XII are always unlocked in PvP).

Also, that’s not a bug, so why are you making this thread in the Bugtracking-forum?

Happens to me as well. It’s kinda annoying if you’re still in combat and switch the weaponset and then have the cooldown if you want to switch again before the next fight, just because it looked like you’re out of combat already (for example because you also had full or nearly full HP).

You only got upscaled there during the time where they first introduced that map with a big event and all. That was almost two years ago.

Oh, and just imagine fighting someone at anything more than 500 range. You would miss with every single grenade, if it was an auto-attack.

It’s not so much about us being relentless in defending Vee Wee, but in you being relentless in attacking her. You do have some good points, however they are being drowned by all that stuff you mostly make up because you’re apparently a bit over-sensitive if it comes to what is rude and what not. You even use the word “relentless” in a way that has nothing to do with its meaning. Nobody forces you to read Vee Wee’s posts, so how can they be relentless if they all begin and end the same way? They even all have “Vee Wee” in the very first sentence, so next time just skip them if they bother you that much?

You don’t even bother to understand what I’m saying. For example, this just makes me want to facepalm:

It’s crystal clear that Vee Wee was talking about builds. You can see him/her talking about people saying a build is bad, related mathematical proof, and the way he/she thinks it affects clearing times.

1. Nobody is refering to builds, as a build can’t be elitist. People can be elitist, but not builds.
2. Yes, Vee Wee was talking about people who minmax when she said “elitist” – but (and here’s the catch) not about those that say those builds are optimal but other builds can be okay too. She was talking about those that minmax and think that everyone who uses a build that isn’t meta is a complete noob and a bad player and probably also a bad person cause he’s wasting their time.

But yeah… I’ve already explained that in my post. Yet, you ignore it and bring up complete nonsense (“When Vee Wee says elitist, she’s refering to builds!”). By now, I’m actually quite sure you’re just trolling. Very successfully on top of that, I have to admit.

So, let’s just stop here and go back to the actual topic… who is Vee Wee!

Everytime Veewee smiles, a flower blooms and a baby sneezes. …….Due to direct correlation. Not happenstance.

Gosh… okay; hold on:

" We have some PvE elitists saying a certain build is bad"

Saying a build is bad could be true and it doesn’t make one an elitist. Elitism has to do with being better than someone else. Saying a build is bad for a said purpose isn’t elitism.

I’m sure Vee Wee wasn’t refering to people calling builds bad that truly are bad… like, a PvE-build with a mix of apothecary and cavalier gear and traited for Static Discharge and Elixir Infused Bombs would be, for example. She was obviously refering to people who call other people and their builds bad just because they do not run the ultimate minmaxed meta-build, but another build that’s good but just not… well, not meta because it does a bit less dps or so. Which btw is exactly what “elitist” means, or at least that’s how the word is generally used in the GW2-forums.

“And then they back it up with talk of spreadsheets and dps calculators and etc! If that’s not a min max nerdo then Vee Wee doesn’t know what is! That is also where the true intolerance is!”

Proving which build is better is min-max nerdo? really? Especially when people often ask for proof? Please note how the tag (nerdo) is linked to the min-maxing attitude. Yes, again. Then Vee Wee claims this is what’s intolerant… good lord…

Again, Vee Wee was most likely refering to people who look down upon everyone who doesn’t use perfectly min-maxed meta-builds and throw spreadsheets at everyone who dares to say something like “But I’d prefer to play something that’s more fun to me and still does well, even if it’s not the absolutely most optimal build that currently exists.” And not to people who min-max because they like to do so but understand that not everyone likes to (nor has to) actually use exactly those builds.

By the way, since you mentioned the term Relentless, what would you call someone who relentlessly keeps writing about his rank in each and every post he writes? The least you could tell about such a person is that he’s quite relentless. Not only that, but you’d also find it quite hypocritic when such a person tells another he’s being relentless for meeting you in 3 threads (same sub forum) out of the large amount of threads you took part of…

“Relentless” was partly meant as a general statement. But of course it also was indirectly directed at you. But not because you’ve both posted in the same thread a couple of times, but because this silly discussion keeps going on like the future of the world would depend on it, instead of you two just “agreeing to disagree” like I’ve mentioned earlier. ^^

Oh, and mentioning that she’s world’s first rank 80 hasn’t anything to do with being relentless. Unless you mean “Vee Wee is shoving that into my face without mercy until I just can’t take it anymore! Please help me!”. Imo, that way of posting is just a quirk that she keeps up just for fun.

Wahoo!

Let’s see… calling people nerds or elitists due to value differences isn’t offensive, you say? Yeah right…

Nowhere did I read a sentence like “you’re an elitist!” or “you’re a nerd!”. All that I recall Vee Wee saying is, that some people show elitist and/or nerdish behaviour (which doesn’t mean they are elitists or nerds; just that they sometimes act like them). It’s just an observation. Also, while I can understand that someone MIGHT find “elitist” a bit insulting, I’ve never heard of anyone feeling that way for “nerd”. Some people even use it as a term of endearment, lol. I would totally understand that you’re making such a fuss over it if Vee Wee would have called people “holewherefoodexitsthebody” for acting in a certain way or so. But such a fuss because of words that wouldn’t even be insulting if they WOULD BE aimed at someone directly (which they weren’t)? I would ask if you’re maybe bored or so, but I guess you might think of that as an insult as well.

Edit (in case someone wonders what I’ve edited): While reading my quote below, I’ve noticed a little typo. Fixed it with this edit cause I can’t stand having a typo in one of my posts. ^^

Let’s just agree that you two disagree (with eachother). Wahoo!

It takes one really stupid zerg to march so close to a cliff, knowing that any one enemy necromancer could drop down a spectral wall, or a mark, to fear a large number of players over the side. Here is an effective counter to it:

  • Don’t follow a bad commander
  • Don’t wander near a cliff
  • Use a stun break

Stability is also a fantastic option. :O

Also, some condi-removal with instant cast. Some of it even is AoE. Works wonders.

Seriously. Calling “this and that is elitist behaviour” and “that and this is nerd-mode” offensive and rude, while apparently thinking “only bad engis play this spec” is okay…

You’d have much much much more reasons to quote a couple of other people here and call THEM rude and offensive. But it ain’t fun if it isn’t Vee Wee, isn’t_it. ^^ (no dear filter, I’m NOT talking about the female chest…)
