Raeysa, I am afraid you can not guest on another server to do WvW, it would have to be a full transfer to do that. As for asking politely, that depends on the situation. By that I mean, to get POI/ vistas etc on the general map, it would not work, as, for one you need to capture most of the towers etc to be able to get them (a rare few can be gotten by scraping the tower).
However, in the context of the jumping puzzels, it is possible to even team up with the so called enemy. It really depends on you both. This sometimes happens in the Obsidian Sanctum (OS) JP, as you cant jump as far whilst in combat. For instance even if I dont ally with an enemy whilst in the OS JP, I would try to determine if they are friendly or not—-just give them a wave or jump up and down in their direction to see their reaction, as some people, just because you are colored red as an enemy can not see past that, and will try to kill you regardless>>.

I want the Slayer Title. I don’t want to have to go to Orr and kill Giants to get it. I don’t want to be forced to do something I don’t want to do in order to get my Achievement.

Are you thinking of Zhaitan’s Bane Achievement? Unfortunately the undead Giants dont count for the slayer title as it only recognizes them as undead and not Giants—a topic for another time ;p. But your rite on the money with what you said.
Most people who don’t see it as a problem either are from a server that constantly switch colors or are in a dominating server, it’s not so funny when your server is locked with certain color for months.
Iv been in that position, had to wait weeks for SM to flip, and I am sure others have been in exactly the same position.
As has already been pointed out these types of threads pop up occasionally, as people only want the easy option. Its exactly the same as the thirst slayer achievement topic that surfaces from time to time, ’ ohhh booo hooo, I dont want to press the mouse button 100, 000 times, how can i do it the easy way’—-simple answer is, you cant, work for it!

The wintersday JP daily achievement is not updating on completion. (ie not awarding the achievement point)
From a purely personal perspective, Sure, I was not a happy bunny when I realized I had to do WvW map completion before getting 100% world map completion (over a year ago? something like that). However on the upside, I am kind of grateful it was there, as I would not have even thought of going into WvW beforehand, thinking it was for elite players only. No idea where I got that notion from, but there we go lol.
Still patiently waiting. Feels like Christmas, part 2.

Yep, I did reply—after about the fourth whisp, which was, by the way, all the same—stop ressing. In anycase, by that time i had moved onto the the second phase of the quest, was effectively out of their hair, so to speak, AND still got whisps. And no, before anyone asks, I wasnt abusive towards them^^.
Very worrying turn of events for myself this morning. Turned on the game, was leveling my character up, do in the various quests, and bumped into a bunch of guys at the start of a quest. This is nice I thought, I started ressing downed NPC’S—-and this is when things took a very dark turn indeed. Started getting whispers from these dudes, to stop ressing the NPC’s. Well its everyone’s area—-its a quest, im not stepping on anyone toes by doing this rite? Wrong—-next thing, the threatening messages started—-if you dont stop ressing NPC’s we will report you! Well I dont take kindly to threats, especially bullying, so carried on—-next thing——you have been reported seven times—have a nice day!
I really hope nothing comes of this, but kind of worrying non the less>>.

Someone care to explain why guardians have had the staff skill Symbol of Swiftness reduced, yet warriors get an insane amount of mobility. I run both and the contrast is stark.

Should be renamed—Solo Arena Daily Patience Test. Having it on 3 and 5 wins is quite frankly ridiculous considering the time it takes to complete even three. Sure, there will people that will come on and say LTP, but you have zero controls over your randomized team in the first place, making it a total lottery if you win or lose.
One thing I realized a long time ago, get used to every class and stay on top the nerfs. You can be as skilled as you want, but a fighter pilot Ace, with a broken engine is still a pile of junk on the ground!

Well it seems that way. Got smatterings of magic snow—and that’s it, no associated activities, which would have eased the burden on LA being pushed into multiple overflows. Also no tinsel, nor the odd sprinkle of glitter, being both human areas, they both feel oddly flat. The odd dollyak coming thru DR’s LA and Queensdale gate is about all there is to signify that its actually there. So no pressies for them this Wintersday! BAH—HUMBUG ^-^. Talking of which—what do the Charr, Sylvari and Norn celebrate? I know the Charr have Meatoberfest, but never seen it in the Blackcitadel, and the Norn seem to need very little to get them into the party mood (hic--burp)
On the world map it says Kessex Hills 15-25, when the actual max level is 26 (Overlords waypoint). Probably a throwback to the old Kessex hills.
Either—1 move it from its current position rite next to found chests, or 2- have a double check on it, ie—are you sure you want to leave this area. Having it rite next to the chest it is currently so easy to mis click on the leave area button, its not funny.
It appears to be coming intermittently buggy. Hit by wind, where there is no wind—re spawning in the prone position—-and remaining like that permanently—being blown into prone position,on the starter block before leaving it. Doubt if its server lag as I relogged and went back in with only four players in the server, and was still the same.
Basically, the vet abominations can be agroed onto the cannon if your solo to try and get the NPC’s to help you, only they will kill everything there, and immediately run back taking no damage, and regaining all their health. I realize that if you kite something beyond its combat distance it should reset, but this is not doing that. It lays waste to everything, and then re-sets even though the kite distance has not increased from when it was at the NPC,s!

What do you spend your on, if anything. Kinda fishing for ideas here for myself, as would really like to spend it on something more useful than basic salvage kits ^^.
Basically—they stop attacking once hit with confusion (applied via rune of perplexity)—just stand there taking a pummeling, and throwing in the odd heal skill.
1-all classes all weapons—reason—we all started at lvl 1, and it is at that level its hardest to get gear—especially if you are just starting out.
2 TP cost—remove it—reason—its pointless—if you have enough gold to sell a legendary, the cost wont affect you (possibly), if your a beginner, it will almost certainly impact you.
3 NPC armour/ weapon sellers—make them useful, and reduce the cost—reason—you can get far better gear on the TP for a fraction of the cost, making them totally redundant.
4 Stealth—(this wont be popular)—make it an internal countdown, for every class—reason—i don’t like stealth—even on my thief, so kinda selfish on that one—soz. Although to compensate I would increase classes heavily dependent on it to have an increase in stats, making them less squishy.
5 The final Arrah story--not sure if anyone has pointed this out--but it requires some polish (and that's being nice about it!)
6 Be able to join parties by right clicking on the name that is advertising (currently can’t once two or more join) AND, have the join party function, in top left of screen be more user friendly. Currently, if you type in the name of the person forming the party, and you click on the wrong box, it wont recognize it, and you have to start over, kinda frustrating.
Finally thought of the last one, which should have been obvious to me, because I had been thinking about it for a while doh!
7 Ascended—make them tradeable—reason—lets have a sing song to this one, to the Tune of Sesame Street on this one, ‘One of these things is not like the others, one of these things is not the same—-can you tell which one’?

Variety is the spice of life—which this is not.
Called , ’ Aftermath Toxic Consumer I’, so I will assume there will be more to follow. When I first read it , I thought interesting, then started to become worried.
If you are not fortunate enough to have a recipe, this mean spending either 8 gold for the recipe, getting a rare drop or, spending between 35-38 silver for the toxic items on the TP.
So I will be doing some hard thinking on this one, and if this is indicative of future achievements, may have to reevaluate what I am doing here.
On land the auto attack is locked on grenade kit, giving engineers a nasty case of RSI, and wearing out their keyboards, but under water is enabled, why ^-^?
Bump.
Just came out of pvp, and binding roots was completely disabling all of my skills. Even phase retreat would not work, just go into a very fast cool down. I should emphasis I was on flat terrain, and not in mid jump at the time I was hit with roots. Interestingly enough, a short time later was hit with roots again , and this time there was no problem.
Why are the match ups on performance rather than server size? If a middle weight boxer wins a championship he is not expected to step into the ring against a heavy weight, so why are wvw servers expected to do so?
Ones put down by vet trees can not be destroyed and have to wait for cool down to expire.
Not sure what you guys think, but can’t help feeling that the toxic events in starter zones are a bit overpowering for beginners, case in point the vets patrolling. If it is meant to send a message that the Toxic alliance is dangerous, from that perspective it works—but a bit too well. After all, a beginners zone is supposed to be the honeymoon period, not thrown into a cold ice bath.
Has there been any this season? If so post the results please. personally can not remember there being a nail biter finish yet, so would be interesting to see if there are any out there. (I am on EU server, so no idea about NA).

Whats it says on the tin. If you DC in hybrid, you are forced to leave the party as there is NO option to re-join the party in the instance. Entering the instance only results in you going into a solo instance, with the party in a separate one.
Can be in the area to cap the camp/tower, and even killed the guards/ lord, but occasionally it will not even get the progress bar on the cap, resulting in no WxP/ XP/karma/ silver, or credit. Judging from map chat, I am not alone.

AMAZING-loved every second of it, worth the run up there^-^.
This may not go down well with some, but for myself, id like to see every weapon open to every class—-obviously with different skills associated with them.
My reasoning is this—if your a beginner—or sub level 80*, how many times have you picked up a tasty weapon , only to find its completely useless to you?
As for the new healing skill—tried it, and I am not a fan—and whilst we are on that topic—anyone else think the cost for buying it is over the top? (5g +250 Pristine Toxic Spore Sample) If you had that much gold from farming events, surly you would have enough skill points to unlock it regardless?
*(only reason I mention level 80 is because, its not such an issue, as by then, you have some cash behind you)
Birthday present will magically disappear from the mail, if left. Mine was a week old, looked at it lovingly yesterday, and today—its gone. If it has something to do with me being in he mad kings realm, or not, I have no idea, but left me with a bad taste in my mouth!
Just a work around—-if you have a champ/vet in front, move your field of view until you can not see it, ie look the opposite direction (or until its off screen), then try select nearest target. The champ/vet will not be selected then. Hope that helps you some ^^.

Aegis is a double edged sword in crab toss. If a guardian uses the fishing rod with aegis, it blocks the crab, putting it out of play>>.
Just finished a round of Lunatic Inquisition, and was last man standing. Unfortunately, I did not receive a chest, nor did the Lunatic Inquisition regular update. Perhaps my score (roughly in the mid 200 mark) just didn’t warrant an award, as there were some in ghost form with marks in the 300. If this is the case seems very little point in trying to survive and just die asap, which kinda destroys the purpose of the game! Very disappointed.
That’s rite, some fellon has been at it again, and stolen all the candy nodes from Queensdale. Last year, you coudn’t move for seeing them (although after they were supposed to be gone, they kept bugging back for some reason for some time).
The usual suspects are as follows:-
Professor Oak—highly suspicious behavior recently,
A large pig going by the name of The Boar-last seen on the run from head hunters,
Larry the Troll—keeps on about giving his ‘Troll stone’ back, which we have reason to believe was stolen property in the first place,
And The Spider—-believed to be the center of a criminal underground.
Please approach all suspects with caution, as they seem to attract local villagers with pitch forks and torches looking for their blood. No idea why!
