The nerf is right, to prevent classes who have vigor to get extra endurance.

Let’s make a point.

-There’s no balance at all ( i really don’t know what the closed beta or open beta weekend were to, cause all classes are not balanced ).

-There’s not a decent matchmaking system, due to:
1) Few players ( you can’t do anything about, so to have less queue you had to merge soloq and premades. Not your fault, but add another map and allow players to exploit by playing only stronghold, and then had taken players from the normal ranked arena map, was not a good choice )
2) Classes without a role:Gw2 started as a game without roles ( every class could had cover a specific role ). In Gw2 wasn’t quiete good, but hot brought Healers and Bunkers. And not all the classes are allowed to play healer/support/bunker into a competitive scenario. Some of them can’t also play a dps role. So all the games start with DPS, hoping in their team will be at least one elementalist, or druid. And if there re 2 druids on the enemy team which are not premade, something is really going wrong.
3) Pips gain/lose: ( actually is going to be fixed, but seriously… why simple things like these were not fixed on beta? )
4)Arena fixes during the Arena season: ( which allowed players to exploit, not get punished cause were the arena rules, and new players forced to play with fixes ). Seasons also are shorts ( 3 months each ), so there will be no problems.

As fixes i’m obviously talking about balancing. not fixing bugs ( like thief SB 3, for an instance ).

I’m not claiming the you must let the other players exploit as the previous did.
What i’m saying is that you first must test things on ptr, then release em. If you fail at first, don’t worry. But be ready to “disable ranked arenas” till the problem is solved as soon as you can ( 24h would be enough to see the situation and click on “disable arena” ).

- Afkers/Disconnecters unpunished: what to say about it? plenty unpunished players who join and afk/troll/disc, and the ones who pay are the players ( most the soloq ). Especially on diamond legend i guess ( cause no tier checkpoint ).

I knew since from the start ( thank to some years of wow ) that devs don’t give a kitten about spvp, cause the most of the players are casuals from PvE, but still please.

I, and hope the most of spvp players, are looking for a fair spvp game, and don’t care about spvp tracks, daily quests, skins, etc… so if possible, let us help somehow.

An arena should last 1/2 mins max.

And also a removed downed combat would be nice.

Plates, to me, are better on a male character ( norn or human ).
Clothies on female characters.

I would say Necromancer cause the reaper is awesome and a great build ( dunno if it’s OP, but i really like it ).

In massive events you have to tag every single mobs to get drops.

You think anybody care to be tagged for the event by healing/cleansing when he can tag mobs and get drops too? I think every class will continue to aoe tag, spamming both healing and damage skills. AoE AoE AoE

I would appreciate an extra rework for SB, but also less time to kill him.

Well, fire elemental is meant to be defeated by low lvl characters, as shadow behemoth does. And both of em got reworked months ago.

Everyday farm sw cf for about 1h ( also checks for meta event into sw which gives you different chests and more rares ).

You will get plenty of obsidian shards which you ll need, and golds/t6 mats.

Lotro was made also for these things ( don’t know how many instruments, but still a pleasure to listen while playing ).

Gw2 has some instruments but more would be nice ( also are all from shop, so a not for everybody ).

Btw for an instance, creating a recipe wich require 250 back access, to create the permanent one, would be worth like 6250 gems. Like 1300g ( 2300 g less than tp ).

@techno: yes. when you doubleclick u get an item with the same shape of the normal one, but golden. the item you get is accout bound and cannot be sold.

Take a moba, an fps, an mmo.
You must play sniper… but i m not good and i enjoy assaulter.

I’m having both fun and frustration ( spvp player :p ).
Things that i love about gw2:

-Thief ( don’t mid which build or if you suck or out of meta. i like to pay for every single mystake )
-Gliding
-Verdant Brink ( i love all the new areas but dear devs, with VB you did a freaking great job. Love the map. Not the farming, The map! )
-Trahearne is dead ( i was waiting him to die from 3 years. finally the worst character is gone ).
-HOPE
-Ranked Arena rework ( it’s still fresh and still there’re tons of things to fix and do, but still here we are )
-Filler MMO ( you can drop and get back whenever you want and you don’t have to farm for equipment or other things ) which allows me to play other games or continue playing it if i have only an hour to spend.

and actually endgame elites are branless. also gw2 base builds, taking players with the same skill, are underpowered.

Honestly, as a Main Thief, I have no problem with Ele’s AoE’s…

I cannot grasp why a Mesmer would have any problems as they have skills which allows them to stay on the point + cleans/heal from allies in teamfights..

However, Ele and Mesmer do need to be toned down a bit, together with rev, scrapper and Druid.

Agreed ( still, if the elementalist is good, kitten + SB thief i can’t deal with him. Maybe d/p could, but really i don’t know. Talking about serious elementalists. ).

Here’s a question: how can you determinate the disconnection’s cause?

Personally, i doubt you can make a script which “prove” that you had a legit disc or not ( maybe am i wrong? ).

Btw it will be something like 3/5 disc over 3 days.
I think, if your connection is ok, it can happens 1 time per week ( talking about spvp, not wvw events or massive events which can cause your game to crash ).

Otherwhise simply you shouldn’t play ranked, cause is better to let 4 ppl to enjoy a game than 1. Unless you have a premade ofc.

Since we’re talking about spvp, what do you think about disconnectors?

To me:

-People who has connection issues should not play ranked competitive games, unless they re part of a full premade ( and their team mates agreed to play with someone who could suddenly crash ).
-People who disconnects from the game should have a more huge penalty. Something like a long debuff ( 2/3 days ) which stacks up to X times. it refreshes every disconnection, and if maximum stack is reached, the player won’t be able to play ranked for a week.

About afkers, i don’t know what to do.
Seems reports do not count, and also Devs can’t be there 24/24h, nor only for spvp.
Tbh, sometimes some1 report/block players just cause rage/loss/whine/etcetc…

Maybe frapsing the game ( showing the dude afk in base on minimap and then his score and name? ) could be ok?

I think the most of us want to play a good game ( balacing the game is something can’t deal with. we can give feedbacks, but forum is like a mess, and also patches come after months instead a couple of weeks, so we must wait and see what will come ), so if there’s something we can do to clear the ranked from toxic/afker/disconnected, i would like to know and try to make a deal with ANET.
