While waiting i will answer your questions

1) you need condition damage, and some builds needs precision too. you got an extra free secondary stats ( usually toughness ) which makes you tanky. Zerk can’t
2) There’s no equipment for condition duration. Nice try btw, but we were talking about stats ( vitality ) and there’s no1 with condition duration stats ( some uses the generic sigil ).
3) you need time as zerk needs more time to kill you tanky player. while your damage is not reduced by anything. Maybe the new boon will be good against conditions but hell, im not that sure.

but also, the fact is, prices re crazy ( and sometimes you have to remove and lower the price cause ANET itself. Like 3rd birthday reward and dyes ). Think im gonna give it a shot tbh.

Why that?

Selling items on the Trading Post requires additional coin fees, based on the total sale price.

Listing Fee (5%) — This nonrefundable cost covers listing and holding your items for sale. This fee has a minimum of 1 Copper coin.
Exchange Fee (10%) — After a successful trade, the item exchange fee is deducted from coins delivered to the seller. This fee has a minimum of 1 Copper coin.

So, for an instance, on a 4000g item you are gonna pay 200g to set it at ah, and 400g after some1 buyout ( and remember its rare to buyout ) it. So, from TP, u will get 3400g, and the buyer will pay 4000g.

You are claiming that if the buyer save up 600g there will be inflaction? rly?

Vitality should also give a little % of condition damage resist.

edit: or at least ofc, some fixes to zerk or condition mechanics. zerk needs 3 stats to works. condition 1 or 2.

As precursors ( which now will be able to get without RNG ), old skins should have a standard price and time needed to get it.

Purchasable only during the specific seasons should be also fine, and with a standard and high cost ( like 10xBLCT ).

You will have at trade post:

-Less other skins ( cause ppl will save up for seasonal )
-Lower price ( every rare skin will have a price )
-No more speculation.

Btw, should be also good make an outside trade post, to avoid Black Lion Market fee.
ANET, if i’am correct, is actually banning scammers, but it does not give you back the item scammed.

Set up a minimum of AP to join the outside trade, and lower the scam risk to zero or something like ( cause think nobody is gonna lose its account with high AP, for a 1000g scam ). AP needed should be like 12/15k for an instance.

Everything from season 1 needs to make a return since that was before the mega-server update which meant that most servers did not have enough players to complete all of the content or farm for most of the rare drops.

There are a lucky few who happened to be on the right servers and thus had the opportunity to farm these items and can now charge a premium. That’s just bad game design and should be corrected.

Also, what about last halloween giveaway?

I was thinking about earnings due by daily login chest and multy account.

At the moment having more account is way more worth than buying gems.

Every account will grant you:

-20 mystic coins
-55 Laurels ( or 165 T6 mats if you prefer )
-1 Random Exotic Item ( maybe a good sigil/rune )
-Sometimes a black lion key.

You can earn something equal to 800 gems in less than 3 months, just by login in.

I was thinking about, is ANET fine with this or it’s gonna change with the expansion ( something like “daily login reward only with an HoT uppgraded account” )?

Or, if nothing is gonna change, what do you think about using more than 1 account per person ( not something like “i agree” “i dislike it”, but about T6/Mystic Coins drop price for an issue )?

I did the event, got the cores, and I hope the memories of Scarlet DOES contain them. the fun I had doing the event is in no way negated by new players getting access to them.

I have three Celebratory Dye packs, soon to be five and I’m dying here…

You’re not “dying” — like me, you just don’t have any use for the gift at the moment. I’m saving mine in the hopes that:

• As new kits are added to the game, the loot table is updated to allow them to be chosen. and/or
• ANet changes the rarity to exotic for colors exclusive to the kits, so that they can be forged for a chance of a new color.

(Obviously, the first option is a lot better than the second.)

Believe me, when you have them all unlocked, you’re dying all the time.

Also, we don’t know that they will update the loot tables on these packs. We certainly hope they will, but things like this tend to languish…

And sure, I have no idea if they planned to update the loot tables or not. That’s why I’m saving them in the hope that they will. I have no expectation that they have to (nor that I am entitled to a color released after today).

That’s what we have to do atm ( but knowing what they will do, as the old yellow transmutation charges converted in blue ones… lol i saved up 500 of them from all chara, and hopefully i didn’t trashed them to “make space in my bank” ).

Hopefully is only a slot ( i hope they do stack ), and it’s not a problem save em for later.

Needle Trap does not work using Withdraw as healing skill.

Also, if u stop ( Esc/Dodge/etc… ) channeling your healing skill, you still drop your trap.

More wrappers means more chances to get a single item or a farmer can get more than 1 specific weapon?

To avoid something like 100 skins ( its impossbile 100, i know :p ) to a single account.

Another build who can play with Black Poweder.
Ofc you will trade damage ( half ) and ip ( to gain stealth u will use 3 and 5, as for d/p ) to gain stealth benefits, but also u will can build up dmg with sneak attack, might stacks and toughness.

What do you think?

It’s simple: Allow mesmer to use stealth as an instant utility skill ( like signets, shouts, etc ).
Or at least, only when you are using the specific trait ( Cleansing Conflagration Trait )

Something like condition/cc remover ( like cleansing water, blinding powder, etc ).

Edit: Oh, is this in WvW? Then he’s probably running Runes of Perplexity plus Distracting Strikes (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Distracting_Strikes) which stack. So the confusion is probably killing you. Every time you use an ability, you take damage. Clear the conditions before you kill yourself.

He has a lot of CC with Skullcrack, Pommel Smash, Shield Bash, Rifle Butt, and probably Stomp/Kick for utilities. And as an Ele, he can probably easily read your actions, so he can interrupt them pretty quickly, stacking a lot of confusion on you.

Confusion btw is not the real deal ( cleansing wave helps a lot ), but the direct dmg ( also with 3k armor and protection i can take 2200/2500 dmg each ranged crit ).

Just some basic tips too: You absolutely need to be dodging killshot. Learn the animation, pay attention if he CCs you (fear or bolas maybe), be ready to use a defensive utility.

Mace also has a nice short cooldown block, and it’s often paired with shield which has another nice long block. Don’t use your best damage specials while he has block ready. Try to wait until after he blocks, or has switched to rifle.

But yeah, if you can give more information about what’s giving you trouble that would help. Big hits? Lots of small damage? Too tanky to kill?

My low dps and his high dps + regen.
Also my conditions needs some trash debuffs ( its uselss to stack burning and bleedings if there re no other conditions to avoid “remove conditions” )

As I see it, the build has the following issues:

• the condition cleansing is very poor. Cleansing ire, with a mace and a rifle, cannot be used reliably to remove conditions. Once the Berserker’s Stance is on CD, then even the frequent blocks on the build would not prevent a condition-heavy opponent to melt it. And of course, blind could be quite annoying. I’d probably go for “Mending” as the quickest workaround here.
• the mobility is also bad. Once the bull’s charge is on CD, then the warrior can be kited. The choice of the rifle as a weapon somehow address this problem, but if the opponent decides to escape, then the warrior is unlikely to catch him up.

To beat such a build, I’d say that one should consider:

• using conditions, both to blind and to inflict durable damage,
• keeping cleansing options only for confusion, the rest does not matter,
• using stability to avoid being interrupted, and therefore not get confusion and end up facing sub-par direct damage build.

As an elem, that’d be the kind of opponent against which I’d like to try Blinding Ashes

Thanks for info but i would prefer tu use a standard build ( i don’t like to change every single duel but prefer to be viable ). The rest is ok ( i switch to water to avoid confusion and stability when he switch mace/shield ).

ps: Blinding ashes should be the best setup to fight a warrior indeed

I have never seen that combo….and I doubt it would be a Skullcrack > Killshot combo…because you would only be using a 1 bar killshot (they are both bursts)

First wvw ( ascended equipment and food permitted instead of exotic for everybody ) then spvp ( grinding for skins, rank and chests ).

I know that ANET is trying to take more players on GWII, but this suck.
If people can’t play just for fun doesn’t mean u need to listen em and ruin game.

Seriously. there are infinite game where you are allowed to farm or grind at will.

I would like to uppgrade it ascended but i cant pass it on my other character ( the one with a capped crafting skil ) cause its soulbound and not accountbound.

A NET, about thieves, have you tried to test a vigor buff proc as guardian’s one ( on critical hit 5 sec Vigor. 6 sec cd )?

Also we are trying to improve the survivability of thieves in the Acrobatics line through easier access to the Hard to Catch trait and increased effectiveness of the Assassin’s Reward trait. This will reward thieves who are actively engaged in the fight rather than those who are just dodging over and over again.

With this you will reward combat thieves instead dodger thieves, if the real matter is “prevent to dodge that much if u dont fight”.

Also the trait “hard to catch” could be more problematic than helpful, while are you trying to follow your target. I agree with assassin’s reward swap, but:

-you random shadowstep, with no breakstun nor remove imparing movement effects
-you could be full life and close to kill your target, and then be warped somewhere else.

Ofc you can avoid Zerg better, but as passive trait could be both handicap and utility.

I like the most of your modifies btw, but as squishy class, with no invul, heavy armor, protection, stability, etc, dodge is our main skill to survive. Think about it.

ps: what about move thieves dagger burst from 2 to 4? Something like Leap with normal dmg that cripple instead dagger throw ( Dagger/Dagger skill 4 ), and as second skill a strike 1/4 or 1/2 sec cast wich scale dgm on enemy’s healt?

Why don’t you get an ascendant version of every kind of sets?
I mean, i would like to have a “magi” set, but there are some issues:

-Items avaible by Karma are, now, harder to get than others.

1run/day = 60 tokens and about 15/20 mins ( single path ).
you can have a piece of armor in 3/5 days, playing 15mins per day.

Get 42k karma for an exoticpiece requires instead 42000/350x Event.
So at least 120 events and much more time.

Kinda insane cause:

a)Karma is also used for ascendant recipes
b)Aren’t other way to acquire that specific equipment ( armor and accessories )
c)Also you have, sometimes, to wait for npc spawn ( temples ).

Also

-There are no ascendant version of specific sets ( so you must use the exotic one ).
As i said, i must use Exotic sets cause ascendant ( Armor and accessories, because thinks weapons do exists ) do not exist.

In the end, i know that before patches Karma was easy to get and had no use at all, but now is kinda insane.

So please, give us an ascendant version of Everything and lower ( or get us the chance to craft ) Karma required exotic equipments.

Alot of people grabbed celestial gear because it’s the best you can get if you are looking for more than 3 stats that you get alot of uses from.

I dont care about the magic find I put it on my ele because my ele gets use out of all the stats in some form on a consistant basis. There are alot of people that run celestial and really don’t care about the magic find on it at all.

From this thread I guess there are alot of people that care about the magic find on it too.

Solution? make it magic find account bound so you don’t have to run X with Y character because Z doesn’t have magic find gear. Works for me.

I would like a new coin like “green gems” or something else.

Buying gems with “real cash” allow you to get green gems instead blue ones, which allow you to get all gem stuff plus more services ( like race/class change, no delay server change, old events stuff, specific stuff instead “5x random items”, etc ).
