Sigils/runes need a revamp and should be a 1 time unlock. All they currently do is discourage trying different builds,
99% of blue screens are due to bad drivers.
The other 1% is from corrupted memory. Run memtest.
Buy them for gold.
Berserker had less hp than marauders.
3. Bunker-Bruiser meta favors those who know the ins and outs of their classes more than beginners. The high damage metas tend to put everyone on the same playing field and caters to beginners.
I actually couldn’t disagree with this more if I tried.
Long kill times/passive DR/tanky players makes the game easier for everyone and really makes newbs have a much easier time in PVP. In faster paced PVP you’re forced to react fast, and predict things happening before they react, as well as know the ins and outs of every class.
In a tanky meta, you can be slow and not really know much but still live because you can’t really be punished and everything is extremely forgiving because of how tanky you are and how long it takes you to die. The more forgiving something is, the easier it is for new and bad players to do ok at the game. You can make more mistakes and aren’t as badly punished for them because you have enough sustain/passive tankiness to just get back up and keep fighting.
This is why thief is generally the hardest to play least newb friendly class. One mistake and you’re dead, but HoT has even made thief MASSIVELY more forgiving with not only the introduction of marauders amulet, but many other tools such as triple dodge and other passives and such.
1 shot metas are bad, tanky metas like this is a bad too, we need slightly less tanky classes and we’ll be at a good point.

I don’t see why it needs to be TWO whole people to stop goldsellers. The cap should be like 10 or 20, something a normal person wouldn’t experience. When your anti-goldseller measures are so excessive that they effect normal players you’ve failed.

Mechanically, GW2 is way better. But the balance is inexcusably bad. GW2 balance has fallen to the point where facerolling a meta build lets you compete in skill with almost everyone else.

It’s just because everyone is too passively tanky and doesn’t even have to avoid damage or understand how anything works. Just have 100% uptime protection auto-cast invuls and auto-cast passive healing, then run around in circles mashing random buttons or have your pet solo someone while you do nothing but run in circles and rely on passives to keep you alive.
Pre-hot you had to be more aware of what other classes did and avoid damage and pop your abilities and dodges better, but now you can be an “average” player just mashing random aoe/cc on nodes and running in circles. WIll you be good? No, but you will be average enough to actually kill people. At this point I tihnk it’s a conscious design decision to make it easier for new players to get into the game.
Really it’s just ease of use and too much passive garbage that requires no user interaction making GW2 PVP a bit worse. It’s still the best PVP MMO and has a very very high skill cap for nearly every class.
Things like heavy light on guardian(autocast 10s ICD knockback) are things that should never ever exist in this game. Too bad it’ll never go away…

Please fix the ability to hop between maps after completing the meta and opening chests on multiple maps.
You cannot do this for any other meta event. It’s making it the most efficient and gold per hour. It’s killing other aspects of the game. Please fix this ASAP anet.

The spec isn’t fun to play because it’s one dimensional.

What game are you playing? Warriors can endure pain x2 and block for 3s every 20s + reflect projectiles then block again and reflect ALL projectiles(only blocks 1 attack but all projs) and has multiple forms of resistance.

People already take long enough to die now, far too long IMO.
WOW is 15 minute RBG fights that never end due to healers and 30m dampening fests in arenas.

I’ve played WOW to gladiator for a bunch of seasons, and in vanilla I was a warlord.
WOW PvP in it’s current form is absolute unplayable skilless garbage.
GW2 PvP is so much better, and actually playable and skill based.

Hope DH is never good until they remove heavy light entirely from the game. Passive auto-cast CC does not belong in GW2.
It doesn’t matter if you “need” it or it’s on a 10 second ICD, auto-cast CC should not exist in PVP.
Couple of notes:
- I noticed that it’s getting harder and harder to kill things. Warrior passives just adds to the annoying auto pilot gameplay this game has.

Am I crazy for thinking this? I really dislike how tanky classes are in PVP right now.
I would like a gemstore item, a consumable that gives 49.530.000 XP for HoT masteries. That means it maximizes the XP of every HoT mastery. No mastery point, only XP. I would pay 600 gems for it.
I did not manage to collect that much XP in HoT since release, although I play GW2 almost every day. But I failed – even after the recent HoT patch it is not enjoyable to play the HoT areas without the masteries. The double grind of first the XP and on top the mastery points does not work for me. XP only or mastery point only can probably work.
Please never do this. Ever.
Legendary weapons add massive grinds to the game that keep people playing for longer.
Living story content is something you do in a day or two then never do again.
Please reconsider your decision and priorities, they should not be in disposable content with little to no replay value.

I said if they’re going to exist they need to not be as strong as they’ve been an entire expac.
For example, watching a druid run around in circles living forever not actually avoiding damage or doing anything properly yet still living forever isn’t even fun to watch as a player WHILE you’re fighting them. I can’t imagine watching that as a spectator.
Making the game worse and ruining balance because “new players” or “people might not be smart enough to understand how skills work in multiple game modes” is a BS cop out excuse.
Games should NOT be made worse just because you feel the need to design around the dumbest person alive. I’m sick of this garbage mentality showing up in every game. Humans should not be coddled and treated like morons, they should be forced to become more intelligent and aware of things, but instead we just coddle them so much that the race as a whole is going to start getting dumber by the year because we need to cater everything to that one guy who is too stupid to understand that the fresh steaming hot coffee they just bought might burn their mouth if they drink it.

There’s zero reason not to nerf skills in PVP only, they’ve done it MANY times before. What’s the problem?
And it’s not really entitlement since:
1) The game originally rewarded post-80 levels with skill points, a commodity. This was taken away.
2) The 1-80 leveling brings a reward of some sort at each level, creating the expectation that leveling is rewarding.
It totally is entitlement.
What did you use skill points for?
1) Upgrading seige (Oh, look spirit shards)
2) Buying legendary comments as required (Oh, look, more spirit shards)
3) Those Myani (Mystic Forge Chick) items (Oh, Even more spirit shards)So everything you used skill points for, are now spirit shards. Oh… We get those easier now.

My games are generally 1 sided stomp wins or barely losing losses with a few 1 sided stomp losses.
Bruisers and healers shouldn’t exist. If they are going to exist, they need to be massively toned down because they’re completely stupid since HOT beta.
Everyone in the kitten game has condi cleanses and the ability to kite. Just don’t get hit and don’t be stupid enough to walk into his fire AOEs and don’t hit him when he has his signet up … People cry over how broken a class is but never bothered with pvp …. This is quite sad …
I pop every condition cleanse on my ele and I still have 4 conditions left on me. Condi cleanse does not work vs warriors.
How many games am I expected to play before I’m matched with relatively equally skilled players?
I’m against people I can consistently 2vs1, but my teammates are so bad every single game, or they DC, that I actually can’t do anything to win regardless of how much better I am than my opponents.
Not a very fun experience, honestly. Am I expected to queue with multiple people to have a chance at winning and get myself to a MMR that reflects my actual skill?(I’m not good, but the people I’m with and against are not equally skilled at all)
I’m not exactly sure why it’s ok for tanks to be able to randomly 1 shot you anytime they want. Shouldn’t being a tank mean you don’t do damage?
Condi warrior is actually ruining the game more than even dhumfire necro did.

Most of this price increase revolves around players that are pushing the value up due to the players willingness to pay more. If players are willing to pay more for an item, it’s going to keep increasing until eventually it hits a ceiling for the commodity. We’ve seen the same thing occur with numerous commodities over time.
Right now there is a consistent supply of mystic coins entering the game (way more than are being consumed) and churning through the trading post at a very slow rate. Most of the coins on the market are ones that have been flipped.
In retrospect, this is actually causing the daily login reward to be worth significantly more to players who wish to convert mystic coins to gold.
That’s strange, doesn’t supply and demand usually mean that if there’s more items going up for sale than are being bought, the item cannot go up in price no matter what?
Getting unplayable lag right now in GW2. Was fine for like 6 hours, then suddenly unplayable.
Meanwhile I have 0 packet loss on TS and I’m able to play other video games with sub 50 ping.
The problem with necros is that the class is too easy to play. Having to use dodge rolls, blocks, invulns, and healing to stay alive requires effective timing and skill. Managing a huge health pool doesn’t require the same level of skill. It used to be that necros were weaker at higher skill cap, so their ease of play was countered by the classes weakness. Now, necro is balanced or only slightly OP at high skill cap, so they are OP at low/medium skill cap because they are relatively easy to play and require skill to counter (boon strip, cc chain).
The solution is to lower their innate tankiness and force them to use active defenses like most of the other classes.
DOT classes in any pvp MMO is always easy. It’s lame,
