Somehow it happened last night, and I gotta say- it went great. Was only a 19 so obviously not too representative of something more challenging, but I was supposed to be teaching a fractal run for guildies and that’s what we ended up with as a comp. I suppose what I should have been teaching is people to play a balanced class comp, but instead our only non-necro decided to join in on the fun and swapped from ele to necro. I gotta say, it was really fun to ramble on about necro tips and tricks uninterrupted for 40-50 minutes.
We got Uncategorized, Colossus and Mai Trin and didn’t wipe once. Long story short, CPC is amazing. Uncategorized went brilliantly because of it, no excuse not to have 100% uptime on blocks for them, which makes the boss easy too. Golems did a decent job tanking the ettin for us to clear things out. Colossus went pretty smoothly too, even with few pulls. Mai was a lot of fun too, even had a guy who had never done the fight and I think only 1 person relogged.
All in all I don’t think this is a particularly crazy good comp, but it was really really smooth. DPS was a little slow, but not unbearable by any means, have certainly had worse in “normal” comps. I mean, dropping a necro or two for some stronger DPS classes would certainly be an improvement but it went fine.
It was a really fun thing to try and I’m tempted to get a 50 going with it another time XD. Necros are full of cool tricks.
I made scale 50 with 3 necros / guard / ele and it was a great moment with this wonderful anti-meta team, only ignorants hates necro cuz they read everywhere this class is useless without trying to understand it

Show us where this efficient might stacking is mirrored in other classes with only using a single or pair of traits and nothing else.
Please elaborate on how camping Shroud and doing nothing but 111111111 for 20 sec while draining all your life force is efficient.

I like how you asked for a similar trait where someone can easily stack might on themselves, and he mentioned Forceful Greatsword, which you completely ignored, classy. You obviously do not want counter proof, and are purposely ignoring any logical counter argument.
Forceful Greatsword – Gain might on a critical hit with a greatsword or spear. Greatsword and spear skills deal more damage and recharge faster.
Not only does this not have an ICD, but when paired with Phalanx Strength allows for 25 might stacks to be shared up to 5 allies in a 600 radius. It also is less restrictive than Reaper’s Might. As any critical hit with a greatsword will give Might, regardless of skill used, Reaper’s Might only stacks based on using shroud skill 1.
So as I said, you are clearly only interested in nerfing Reaper/Necromancer, and do not care about counter arguments. You have also become hostile and raged at people because you disagree with them.

The main thing with what Gee has been doing is actually not buffing what was already good. Notice, for example, that the balance changes have not touched a single Spectral skill, Dagger, or Wahorn.
What he has been buffing, though, is our underused and weak skills and traits. Buffing the weak stuff while not touching the good is what really brings build diversity.
And really? Necros probably have the most build variety of any profession now.

I think the solution would to start creating mobs that don’t reward you for killing them as fast as possible but for killing them according to their mechanics.
Pretty much this but even they want to go that way, you will always see peoples QQ there the game is changing in a wrong direction when its not.
Anet just needs to do what they think it’s best for the game and we already know that they don’t really like the zerker meta. People will always rage whatever they choose to do with the game, it’s just how people act on the internet.

I disagree OP. In fact, I strongly disagree.
Raids aren’t coming out on launch day anyway. They were going to give us time to get masteries and such leveled up. At any rate, I’m pretty sure the biggest part of the population isn’t raiding. Delaying a launch for a small percentage of the population is silly.
Guild Wars 2 launched with flaws. Eso launched with flaws. SWToR launched with flaws FFXIV originally launched with so many bugs that they had to close the whole thing down and start over. There were bugs in all these games. In some cases there were bugs that stopped progress. They didn’t stop the release.
The testing we’re doing on BWE are not the main testing and the version of the game we’re playing in the BWE isn’t even the most recent. I wish I could find a dev quote to say that, but it’s definitely been said.
Class balance is an ongoing thing that will never be perfect. Maybe they should delay the game forever.
Your opinion on Stronghold is just that. Your opinion. They may not change it, because it may not be in the best interest of the game. Time will tell.
WvW will be tested live. It’s the best way to test it.
The release of any MMO today is going to be buggy to some degree. When Guild Wars 2 launched the auction house didn’t work, guesting wasn’t available, a good chunk of the events in Orr weren’t working right, plenty of personal story bugs…but it launched. And most of the worst stuff got fixed.
This isn’t 25 zones, it’s 4. That means that most of the bugs should get fixed faster.
There’s no reason to have another BWE. It would only delay the launch.

They changed things before BW3 already but couldnt be included in this weekend cuz it was written on original code soo we will see that the 23 october.

Really nice work since the last BWE. Reaper feels a lot smoother compared to the first BWE. I keep my feedback short and simple:
DS 1 feels perfect now
DS 2 feels perfect now
DS 3 the fear casttime still feels out of place. Instantcast please?
DS 4 perfect by itself
DS 5 feels a bit weak compared to Gravedigger. Even at under 25% health gravedigger deals more damage. Please adjust the health tresholds and the damage it does. Could maybe execute foes under 25% health instantly like the Daredevil elite does.GS 1 feels okay
GS 2 is perfect
GS 3 feels lacking. Would need more DPS, has gotten much worse since the change of souleater.
GS 4 is perfect, i love this skill now.
GS 5, its not reliable at all. Seems buggy at times, doenst pull the full distance sometimes.YSIM Perfect
YAAW The might application is bad in duration. Please make the duration of the might much longer, but decrease the stacks. Currently it will overwrite the longer duration might stacks from Spite / allies / firefields with the sheer amount of low duration might, makes this skill more of a burden.
Suffer Its still mostly useless or too weak. Could we add something like reveal to it, or give some boons per foe hit? It feels like a weaker version of plague signet.
NCSY Feels good, could we please make this instant cast?
Rise seems fine as well. Love the model.
CTTB Is getting there. I think the CD should be 60 seconds base, if you can make this without reducing its effects even further.Shivers of Dread: We still lack synergy with this trait
Augury: Tooltip is buggy, still states 7% reduction per foe. The lifesteal values are a too low, especially the healing value. Would like this to give me at least 900 health if i hit 5 targets. Would also be pretty cool to get 1 s of retaliation per foe hit for the synergy with bligthers boon, but that would be too strong as an adept.
Chilling Nova: The damage and chill feel fine, the CD does kill it a bit.
Soul Eater: Recharge reduction is much better. The lifesteal attached to gravedigger is awkward, gravedigger is our strongest GS skill already. Would prefer the old version of lifesteal, for all skills while wielding a GS, + in reapershroud. Reduce values of lifesteal a bit ofc.
Chilling Victory: The ICD is okay, the Lifeforce generation with Blighter’s Boon was a bit too strong in best case scenarios. Please make this might much longer in duration though – same issue as YAAW.General issues and concerns:
Reapershroud and combo fields - please make leeching bolts work. The majority of our fields are darkfields, it feels so bad when you pop a GS4 for defense, then go RS and DPS just to see my blind leap does blind and my Death Spiral is wasting its whirl finisher.
Vital persistance - Please make this – or part of this – baseline. With Reaper i feel like i need my Shroud much more then as baseline necro – even to a point where i could say Soul reaping is mandatory just because of this trait.
Shouts - please normalise some values: It feels awkward that some shouts have casttimes, some are unblockable, others are not, also the damage values are all different. Could we at the very least get them all (except for the ulti)normalised to the damage of Rise?
Wells - Due to the way the reaper skillset works i feel like wells are one of the best choices for utilities apart from shouts and some spectral skills. However, seeing the new mesmer wells makes me rather sad. Could we please rework / buff our wells a bit? Even fully traited they arent as damaging, or as supporting, or as fast recharging as the mesmer wells are baseline.
Fear - Please give us more access to it as reaper via traits. Our minor benefits from fear only, at this time it feels almost like a wasted slot.

I can confirm GS5 doesnt work at all and got broken since BW2.
This skill need some changes at start from a range increase 600 to 900 and make it more fluid by forcing the character to turn towards the target.

To fix eles they need to nerf burn. Nerfing burn will affect multiple classes. I wouldn’t worry about direct necro nerfs, I don’t see that coming. Everybody knows dd eles are the most ridiculous thing right now, it’s no secret, they can’t hide under the “omg reapers are op” or “omg heralds are op” threads.
Also they would either fix or nerf vamp runes, because right now it’s broken and creates very unbalanced pvp matches.
You add burn + broken vamp runes, you see why eles are the most broken class ingame at the moment.
What about vamp exactly ? Missed something somewhere i think

It’d be great if we could get the daily chest as a reward for each map completion. Even better, if the rewards we receive at the end of each event was based on overall map participation rather than individual participation. It’d encourage the community spirit that GW2 has been known for~
I’m glad Anet is looking at feedback about the event and wanting to improve it!
A lot of other companies wouldn’t even acknowledge that it wasn’t going too well with the player base.
I hope they read you cuz that’s the most important change to do about events, cooperation should be more rewarding than tagging everywhere and get multi personnal rewards at the expense of event succes.

I agree completely with signet passive in Shroud but itll never happen unless signet of undeath doesnt work in Shroud. because alot of people would hate that even though I would love it.
Its 2% LF every three seconds (roughly 300 DS hp if not wearing any vitality gear at level 80). DS degenerates faster than that, even with Vital Persistence active. Its like a worse regeneration boon but for LF only. Anyone that would complain about this would be doing so just for the sake of complaining. No one takes Signet of Undeath for the LF generation.
An interesting change if signet passives worked in shroud: Signet of undeath passive: Generate life force while in combat, if death (reaper’s) shroud is active, generate health instead.
Hmm, you know I hadn’t even considered that.
Seems interesting but they need rework all skills to fit with shroud mechanic then.
Healing skill while in shroud regen life force instead HP, same with locust signet but then balance would be broke for many reasons.

If you like how the Scepter does for you now you will still like it at lvl80. You should try Scepter+Warhorn with Major Sigil of Air+Earth, Staff with Major Sigil of Geomancy+Leeching. In close combat you will do a tone of damage.
I do say Scepter / Dagger ~ Torment / Bursting and Warhorn with Geomancy for PVE at least this is the most effective way to keep spamming condis cuz heart has 2 sec icd with a single target while torment is in addition of bleed + aoe and stronger while target is moving.
But thats only superior versions when he’s gonna reach lvl 80 ofc ^^
For lvling its better to go for same weapons set but with major heart / geomancy // geomancy.

I’m personally not going to be running reaper as I mainly wvw and spvp. I find the skills to be powerful, but they telegraph like crazy. Gravedigger is like “oh hey I’m floating now, better dodge away”. I’m also not too keen on giving up plague blast on death shroud. It’s the only reliable ranged damage a necro has.
Also on a side note, I don’t understand why reaper gets a GS. The whole feel they were going for was 1. Slower swings 2. Bigger damage 3. Chills. That sounds a whole lot more like the HAMMER to me. Hammer would have fit the role they are trying to fill with the current GS, while also giving us a weapon that isn’t used on many classes. But i digress (especially before the "but muh legundery GS is spaaaaaaace)
All in all I think reaper is balanced, but I just won’t be using it and wanted to see if any other necros would be sticking with the old ds
Even if reaper was less powerfull than the current necromancer situation (which is definitly not the case) i will go for it just for wear my Greatsword haha
We touched a beta its gonna be updated obviously and the preview, at the moment, is very satisfying.

In defense of ANet: Some of these people’s claims are just silly. First of all, we have no clue if they tested this or not, nor do we fully understand the issue. Let’s not just jump to the conclusion that they just threw it at us. Second, if they say they can and will retroactively give you rewards, they can and will retroactively give you the rewards. They’re not going to escalate this by taking chances and telling us they’ll make amends they won’t make. They almost certainly figured out the problem ages ago – fixing it is the hard part. Presumably that means they are certain that they have and are able to continue to gather all of the data in regards to which events you did, and what your stacks were. If there’s anything they’re likely to screw up in the process of giving us our rewards, it will be that people who did receive 5 blooms will receive that same 5 blooms again. Let’s just take a chill pill and try to ENJOY the event. I don’t honestly understand why any of you would be playing the game if you can’t just enjoy it and get over the fact your rewards might be a few days late.
Yeah thats guildwars2 community mentality they all want the highest rewards right after completing one event you wont change that fact.
That said, when a official post say the rewards are gonna be retroactively given then it will and since the npc will stay longer after the event you all should stop QQ about the fews days delay.
Peoples rage everytimes and dont even understand how codes works, anet dont have a test server, thats why we get beta events and then fix as soon as possible.
They cant simply enjoy the game if they are not getting rewards right away and reading all those dramas is way more annoying than playing a bugged event ( which we know its gonna be fixed pretty soon ).

At the very least they need to make GS5 pull work better. The pull was supposed to be key to keeping people close to the necros. If pull can’t be made better, then they need something else to compensate. Because the whole design idea to Reapers & necros have been about pulling and keeping people close. In exchange for that we lose mobility, escapes, and a lot of invuln/block/evade options that other classes get.
Definitly this, the current situation on Gs5 is terrible and need to be fixed for launch day.

Fact is, hard work or not it rly need to be touched and make the skill forcing our character to turn and cast the skill on selected target like Dagger 4 which works on target even if he’s behind when we are not moving.
Also change the range from 600 to 900 cuz its the main problem of this skill.

Reaper is so overpowered, especially condition reaper. It needs a hard nerf… my pu mesmer had a hard time vs a reaper necro running a condi build and fire spam in shroud. With duelist traits, a mesmer should effectively duel and defeat ANY class or player 1 on 1 with ease. Please fix reaper before launch because its not even close to fair now. It is borderline like stealth trapper condi thieves which kill you without ever being seen accept you can see them and they simply have 2 hp bars and burst you down with extreme damage

As I run a build that clears condi’s, even that can’t stand a Reaper’s shroud skills, my characters just are no match to the pure damage a reaper is doing and I find the reaper being just a little bit too much over powered.
Reroll revenant sword/shield – staff and come back there say reaper is overpowered.

Bug I’ve discovered: can’t use gs5 if you’re not facing a mob but staying still (normally the char would turn around after clicking the skill if you’re not moving)
this also applies to gs3This explains why those 2 skills felt so awful, buggy and unresponsive during my bloom solo.
Yea this is really annoying, also the 600 range limit is very bad and should be buffed to 900.
This is the only thing i do like to see changed on reaper rest seems pretty good.

you really need to play the other specializations because you’re seriously mistaken. I took a tempest and wrecked critters in less than 50% of the time it took to take them don as a Reaper. Worst yet, i did this as a glass canon so you’re not seeing the whole picture here.
youre doing something terribly wrong,. I maintain atleast 15 stacks of might, and I hit bewtween 4-17k. Its so far the fastest killing of all the elite specs. Rev might do more damage, but not against more than 2-3 enemies in pve. not even close.
Reaper can insta get 25 might stack with spite line + might shout without any others additional way for get the boon.
I made a 19k gravedigger in pvp on ele with str rune and marauder so obvisouly pve dmg are far away with more vuln stacks and passiv traits from others class / banners / foods
Reaper is rly fun and powerful ppl always want more than it offer and thats sad cuz most of them talk without even know how necromancy works ^^

You are actualy happy about how slow we get experience for leveling masterys OP? Somehow GRINDING, because that is what it is and to get maxed out masterys is endgame? Is this a kittening hoax? Is this next level sarcasm that is just too high for me to grasp? How the flying kitten did you (and Anet for that matter) fabricate the thought process that grinding experience is somehow endgame and using those skills to add new layers of world exploration is just a fortunate side effect? Because to me, that is the message you (and Anet) is conveying to me right now. If it would take me 50+ hours of straight up FARMING experience to max out JUST 1 MASTERY TRACK and be done with collection maguuma items with said mastery in far less time then it required me to get that one line of maxed out mastery I’d feel devestated. It looks like Anet is artificially prolonging the replay time of HoT and lobotimizing its player base by using ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE GRIND WALLS TO LOCK AWAY CONTENT.
Don’t get me wrong, the elite specs are funs, the maps look pretty darn amazing but doing those meta events 10 times in a row and spending hours a day for a week just to get the last tier of mastery is beyond mental. Also, which lazy person couldn’t make a jungle outfit for lord faren?
People like you want everything fast and without efforts on this game and that’s not how Maguuma should be as end game content.
I find fair the way they made It and you gonna need spend time for get rewarded, deal with it.

I think a major question should be asked before this change takes place:
Exactly how event scaling works.Events scale both up and down according to the number of players who are currently participating. Events can scale in a number of ways:
Enemy stats can be increased
Enemies can gain new abilities
New enemy types may appear, including veterans or even champion versions
Enemy count can be increased
Objective requirements may increaseMost events scale for up to 10 players.Group events and large scale events such as the finale for meta events will scale much higher. For example, The Shatterer scales up to 100 players. Events can detect that players have not performed any actions relating to the event within a period of time and will scale down the event accordingly.
Dang, I knew I should have consulted the wiki about that!
I wasn’t sure if scaling adjusted (as it clearly does) and that was one of the questions I was going to ask the devs. So thanks for sharing that info!
Well that’s all fine and from my experience scaling back does happen after a certain amount of time, that’s right, but with a 5 minute timelimit on those fights it just takes too long. Even if it takes 1 minute, the damage is already done considering the healthpools are rather high.
My proposition is instant scaling back if people move outside of a fights boundaries and a 10 second countdown when a person dies. The countdown is frozen when another players starts a ress and, should he not ress the player fully, starts at 10 seconds again.
I like being able to ress other palyers in the open world and at certain events
but at events with a timelimit, especially those that are as tight as the new bossfights this would move the focus from ‘yolo and leeche when you’re dead’ to more kind of trying to not die and be actually useful. As it stands dying for most players is something they don’t avoid because of a certain mindset that ‘better players’ will carry me anyways’.Plus, ported palyers don’t loose out on rewards as account chests are awarded regardless of location.
Ps: Changing the title was probably the best thing; apologies if the initial one was offensive but I was rather agitated after repeatedly solo carrying a group of 20 other players.
A little off subject but valid nevertheless is that downed players (whether they are just plain unlucky or got cornered by more beast-power than they could handle) inspire other players to take time out from their busy slaughter-thon to help them up. I spend a lot of my time in the Silverwastes doing this. Fact is as Arcos Shiningpaw I now spend my time between hard combat and helping others with emphasis on helping as the place would be a hellsapopping with corpses if somebody didn’t have a care and do so.
Being able to help downed players is a unique and awesome feature in this game. I like to do this myself but dead players, in a situation where time does matter, are a hindrance.
On that way ppl can just tag then run out of the event range for scale down and abuse the system.
How about an temporary waypoint pops up near these raid like boss battles during the fight? Only dead players within the proximity can use it of course.
This idea sound way better, WP cost increased aswell for balance the thing.

You’ve got good starting ideas, here’s my take on the skills:
Spectral Regeneration (heal): Gain 4.5k health (1.0 scaling) and gain Death Shroud every second for 5 seconds (5% DS per second 30% total) 20 second cooldown.
WAY too strong, imo. Either recharge would need to be increased to 35-45 sec or LF gain reduced from 5% per second to 2-3%.
Well of the kitten ed: Applies 4 seconds of one stack of torment per pulse, increases duration of conditions applied to enemies within the well by 33%. 32 second cooldown.
Recharge seems a little short on this one, too. I like the condi duration increase and lol’d at the name, would change from Torment to Cripple or Chill. Possible rename to Well of the Profane as an homage to GW1 (like so many skills are).
Dont forgot we got trait, chill from blind > wall of darkness
Something like cripple / stun would be a better option.

Spent well over a thousand gold on this so far and still nothing worthwhile even though the intention is to get the mini. I understand the ‘problem’ has been ‘addressed’ but this is ridiculous..
If everyone get the mini after opening 500 bags dont u think items value would drop ?

What if Legendary weapons had crazy powers like other games?
This is all in fun. I am not seriously suggesting that any of these powers be given to the weapons. Some of them would be just silly, others way over powers. Here where my thoughts.
The Bifrost – Randomly redyes targets armor. Has a chance on crit to blind foes and spread one condition to all nearby foes. 1% chance on crit to wrap target up in a rainbow and move them to a random map.
Bolt – Grants user a 15% movement Speed increase and a 10% attack speed bonus
The Dreamer – Critical attacks have a chance to put foes to sleep, making all skills go on cool down.
The Flameseeker Prophecies – 25% to block all incoming damage, on down state user explodes like a phoenix rallying and setting all foes on fire.
Frenzy – Reduces the cool down of all Skills by 30%
Frostfang – All skills deal 15-20% more damage as ice, chance to deep freeze targets on crit
Howler – Causes targets eardrum’s to burst inflicting bleeding on all foes in the area every time a skill is activated.
Incinerator – All skills deal 15β25% more damage as fire, chance to set foes on fire on crit.
The Juggernaut – Quicksilver coating increases armor, also allows user to randomly blur into the background (aka stealth)
Kudzu – Entangles foes on critical hits. User sinks into the earth and gains regeneration on down state (only activates ever 45 seconds)
Kraitkin – Small fish attracted by weapon will impose themselves between attacks directed at user. On down state to hides user as one of the small fish (can only activate every 45 seconds)
Kamohoali’i Kotaki – Summons a giant shark on crit that drags target down to into the depths of the ocean, inflicts bleeding, torment and confusion.
Meteorlogicus – Critical hits cause randomly crowd control effects. 1% chance on Critical hit of tossing target into outer space where they are instantly killed in the vacuum of space.
The Minstrel – Critical hits have a chance to cause foes to break out into dance. User sprouts wings and floats towards heaven on down state gaining regeneration (only usable every 45 seconds)
The Moot – Critical hits cause foes to be blinded. Those blinded by Moot have a chance to be dazzled for 40 seconds.
The Predator – Critical Hit Damage Increased by 25.0% more damage, Critical hits have a 1% chance of head shot that results in instant death, target hears the words “You lose it here, you’re in a world of hurt.” Randomly it plays “Get to da’ chaaaaaappaaaaaahhhhh!” instead
Quip – Critical hits cover target with streamers and confetti, making them more take more damage from burning. Critical hits have a 1% chance to instantly kill target. Target is shown to fall backwards and daisy flowers push up from its grave.
Rodgort – All skills deal 15β25% more damage as fire, User becomes immune to all fire damage. Foes killed no longer have a down state, instead they become a bonfire.
Sunrise – All skills inflict deal 15β25% more damage as holy, undead are instantly destoryed
Twilight – All skills inflict 15-25% more damage as darkness, critical hits drain health from the target and give it to the user.
Eternity – All skills inflict 15-25% more damage as darkness or holy, Makes the user instantly rally on downstate, (can only activate once every 45 seconds)
Anybody else have any crazy ideas for powers?
Game is supposed to be skill based not giving advantage to players that use legendary against exotics or ascended.
If u wanna purpose such idea the bonus must be really minor but still interesting for make legendary different of others weapons.
Like frostfang, 5% chance to deal chill for 3sec (15 sec icd), dmg +1% against chilled target.
Incinerator 5% to cause burn for 1 sec (15 sec icd), dmg +1% against burned target.
Such thing could be introduced in game but ur current mind thats sure wont ever happen ^^
Edit : frostfang 50% chance to call a claw of jormag for atack ur target.
Incinerator 50% chance to call a fractal shamman for dmg ur foe.
Others weapons i dont mind ^^

Make a delay for players that merge or join from LFG (something like 5 minutes at least)
A duo can just join and insta kick players so a delay would be the only viable option.

i dont get why people even bother to hide in this thing, rewards are crap, if you wanted rewards you should do labyrinth instead you get loot from every monster you tag(or almost), for me i only do labyrinth for the stupid achievements, gotta do them 80 times to get max achievements, so anyway i dont even hide i always run up to get killed as soon as match starts, then semi afk it cuz its so boring and dont got the patience for the long matches.
Personalized bags are supposed to give higher chances for those rares items and villager survivor win this bag x10 so noo it is not better than Lab if u grind the achievement pts in same time since u can just hide and afk for get the loot

9 Accounts, Manually Controlled, Ok, lets do some Bearbow math.
It’ll take you ~1 second to move between each client
1 second to initiate a command (assuming you only want 9 characters to do 1 skill and then auto attack)
Thats 18 seconds for 1 action across 9 accounts with 0 movement, so 3.3 (repeating of course) actions per minute per account.Technically speaking, you could pull off a 3 Rapid Fires on your Bearbows per account per minute with 6 seconds to spare between switches. A normal Bearbow can do 7.5 Rapid Fires per minute, and throw in 2 Barrages (but that requires targeting, something you don’t have time to do), upping damage to equal roughly 9 Rapid Fires.
Your 9 Bearbows are roughly equal to 3 real Bearbows. It seems if you wanted to be effective, you should be multiboxing only 3 accounts rather than 9, if my Bearbow math is correct.
That is unless you are botting, or have keys bound to multiple clients, either way, that’s gonna fetch a ban…like it did

use wurm please, its literally a teleport
spec walk is also very strong, use it well and you can escape some real kitten.go learn some teleport spot which can get you out of combat instantly and only classes with teleport will be able to chase you.
Also shroud 2 can teleport if well used with DS3 for gain fews metters on target so basicly with wurm and spectral, its fine enuf
you do realize that dark path needs a target and at the rate at which it is fired can easily be dodged because the projectile is very slow , also doom is not really that great in terms of cc , it does great damage if you are built for conditions / terror but it wont lock down a player like root can and can be easily avoided by a little thing call stability / break frees . and as for worm it has to be precast first in order to then use it’s effectiveness , but given the fact it’s cast time to summon is so slow to be used as a gap closer or escape it is not meant for practical use in that sense . also add to the fact that the recast is kinda long .
As far as i know he didnt said anything about the gaming with it so basicly u can target a dolyak, a neutral or whatever for dark path take effect not only players

While currently profitable, that profit is derived directly from other players and their willingness to play a higher price. In essence, this is a transfer of wealth not wealth generation.
As far as this specific spawn of ambients is concerned, it’s defiantly one of the faster ones to farm. As long as the playerbase is willing to pay for that item, and the demand remains higher than the supply, it will be profitable. This is not an exploit, it’s the playerbase saying “thank you for farming this, because we didn’t want to”.
Ok then what about blix farm before nerf cuz fail an event was more rewarding than success it ?

The ‘Blix farm’ was not an ‘exploit’ per se. The problem was that it is a scaled event allowing MANY people to acquire HUGE amounts of champ bags by scaling the event. After killing a bunch of Champs, people would then make sure the event ‘failed’ because it had a VERY short respawn time after failure. This allowed dozens of people to farm dozens of Champ Bags per hour. Champ Bags drop COIN as well as loot. This is the DEFINITION of ‘creating gold’ and is very bad for the economy.
Farming ToT bags does, ABSOLUTELY, no such thing. All it can do is transfer wealth from those willing to buy and to keep prices of related items at a very low rate. Candy Corn, Skulls, and Nougat prices are a perfect example of how this is good for everyone. Almost all of the rewards this year, which people paid 1000-2000% more for last year, are easily accessible and start at a meager 2.5 gold (versus 100+ gold in some cases last year). So instead of acting like you’ve been ’bamboozled, you should, instead, appreciate the relative ease put forth in acquiring the rewards this year which were considered, nearly, impossible last year.
Carlotta cost $8 +1000 CC last year. Now you can pick it up for just shy of 3g. Prince was 20,000 pieces of CC last year. Now you can get it for free or, at most, for 10% of that (3 Cobbs are given as achievement rewards) this year.
Tldr; None of these ‘pleads for justice’ or feelings of ‘Anet screwed me’ hold any water. I’m sorry you didn’t get to be the intrepid mind to discover this farm instead of rushing through content silly nilly instead of exploring this years possibilities first.
Perhaps less time complaining on the forums and spending more time finding an alternative (their are 3 of these threads currently) will be a better use of your time instead of plees of entitlement because ’you’re missing out’.

Leaving the instance for do it over and over thats not a intended mechanic since u gain more profit by not completing than succes it.
You are not supposed gain more by failing something its exactly the prob with the current maize farm and its all about making stuff fair for everyone cuz when chris say “the playerbase say thx for farm something we dont want to” its totaly wrong cuz lot of us would have done this too considering its legit but we cant replay this anymore.

The way it works now this trait gives 50% crit chance, this is equivalent +than 1k precision. A single trait giving so many stat points insane. It allows people with 30% to get 100% crit change with fury. No other trait in the game gives so much stats like this one. And it is not like enter in DS is a hard thing to do. It is spamable.
My suggestions:
-Make it increase your crit chance by 50% OF your base crit chance.
For example if you have 40%
40 + (50% of 40) = 40+20 = 60.This way offensive builds that invest in crit chance will still have a great bonus crit chance and the bunker ones wont get such a huge advantage.
DS skills criting are also not the biggest problem. The major issue is that it affect wells droped prior to entering in DS and sigil of fire/air. It is basically problem that old lich form had. Maybe the extra crit chance should be add to the DS skill itself and not as base stats.
Please keep the discussion constructive, no flame.
They made separated build construction for PvE and PvP they should simply works on WvW and stop nerfing everything fine in PvE just for adapt with world vs world stuff which lot of us dont give a crap …

13,5k Wrappers (approx)
3 Legendary Luckso assuming the necklaces, bat tonics, legendary luck, gifts and Gwynefrydd are on the same loot table, it was probably just bad luck on my side.
But hey, finally got it

But where did you get these 1.12 mln bags?
Or where did you get ~67.000 gold to buy it? Or, may be, 8000(+ ~8000more) hours to grind it? Or even ~4000+ slots to store it? Share a secret. So far everything points to the fact that you.. how to put it mildly… a bit exaggeratingBuy 2 rows of 10 stacks, open, vendor yellow craftable, make cobs, save Balm & Cookies, delete rest, rinse & repeat for 3 days, the first few days were actually a profit for the resell value on cobs/zuzus/pillow cases/etc, i only started losing money the last day and a half.
But in the end i did end up in the negative by quite a bit gold wise.
The most time consuming thing especially doing this for 12h+ a day is deleting dragonite/fragments/food and especially the finishers since the names have to be typed in.
It really isn’t rocket science you know….
And how much time, approximately, takes one repeat of this “ritual”?
