it makes taking a lot of towers harder since defenders can just glide in and man siege.
overlook>veloka has an unfair advantage in this regard.
also alpine bls spawn>net, we did this to another server yesterday and demolished them. if there was no gliding they would have taken the tower.
I’m not sure how the desert bl is taking this since I don’t play on it.
maybe if you looked at dh. you would lose out on radiance (which is arguably better now that it got some buffs).
Mesmer already has plenty of condi options. I think it would be really nice (and go along with the trait line better) if Ineptitude did aoe (600 radius would be nice ) power damage to interrupted foes instead of its new effects. It would give wvw Mesmer a different role other then the current veilbot that it has endured for ages now.

I’m on a GeForce gtx 760 and I haven’t noticed anything drastic. then again my comp is kinda old.
guard staff is a horrible weapon that is terribly outdated. I don’t know why ppl still run this.
basically no one in wvw finishes though, unless its small scale or roaming. which is basically nobody :O

now switch half those with cele. what is the difference exactly, other then fights taking longer? that’s why they got rid of the bunker meta, because its boring to watch and play for most people. cele is a return to bunker meta.
might stacks are pretty easy to build up for some classes. also where is the mention of the now op sigil of battle? nice selective memory. even without might, cele is still the best stat combo to use for some classes; and because of this cele destroys diversity for those classes, not the other way around lol. its pretty obvious that you want cele back, but don’t try to tell me that its good for the game. I can see 4 hot classes using cele right now, maybe more with pof.
lol, its a pve mechanic that they never really modified for wvw. I wonder what their reasoning is for why they refuse to do so.
the biggest problem for smaller groups is that (to the best of my knowledge) one player can receive damage from 50 enemies at once. I asked this question in the main forum but sadly no dev response, but I’m pretty sure that at least the cap is really high. that would be where I would start, forget nerfs or roll backs. this way it doesn’t matter how much op crap there is.

Have yet to see that. I have been playing in the late evening/early morning hours as I am unable to sleep. No lack of other players around. I am in GoM linked with NSP. So not sure what Tier your in.

this is an interesting post. I would say I agree. the base durations on soft cc skills are mostly adequate anyways, so increasing their durations with expertise is overkill. also power builds benefit just as much from soft cc as condi builds do.

idea requiring less resources
enable the gvg fight to be separated into rounds. each round every player readies up and the fight starts after x amount of seconds. a round is ended by a leader clicking a small button with a “are you sure” popup. every round everything is reset: hp, endurance, cd’s.

give gvg a pvp like game search. no lobby, you just enter whichever guild arena is hosting. entering a fight already underway puts you into the spectator stands. create shoutcaster mode which is exclusive to them, which enables them to enter anyones pov or pan the camera out just like in pvp shoutcasting.

this has been mentioned many times in the past yet there are no replies to it from anet. lack of proper voip is one of the main things dragging pvp down.

this happens to me often. ill be on a map for more then 5 min for the tic. maybe I hopped maps a few times before and some sort of accumulation is happening? idk but its really annoying looking around at everyone and their op outnumbered pip bonus and I’m not getting nothin.

I would really appreciate a dev response to this, there is zero info about this on the wiki and I feel like it is a vital piece of information.
you cant just delete and remake servers, you would have to put a system in place that forces equal populations. that would mean a lot of people getting the short end of the stick.
if they did release new profs I would want there to be 3, 1 for each armor class.
I think some of you are missing the core concept at the heart of the OP. they are disappointed with the fact that there are no major changes for other parts of the game coming with the xpac. this has nothing to do with them wanting an xpac based on those areas, or even the way in which anet releases content for those areas.
content updates for said areas of the game would make the xpac more alluring for other players I think is what the OP is trying to say. I would agree if this were the case.
How many sources of damage can one player take at once? Is it unlimited? I’m thinking about aoe caps in wvw.

Seriously, good luck. Despite my many disagreements with various things, you guys are a great company with a great product. I’ve been with you since the early days of GW1 and it meant a lot to me when I heard about the release GW2. You guys deserve a solid win.

in team fights they are the most dangerous because of how permeating wrath scales so focus them first. if you don’t then its gg since no amount of cleanse can counter them.
cuz necro sustain must be kept to a minimum since they got no mobilities
