Thanks for the laugh.
yes they do still exist believe it or not
all hail the glorious critter!
At most, all I would change is that you don’t stop moving on the very first hit on your target, instead continuing to move if they are no longer getting hit.
this would be incredible but I think it would be really tricky to implement since nothing else behaves this way.
shrugs idk.
adding an evade I could agree too but the damage would have to be brought down for balance purposes.
the players are responsibile for building their own community within the game.
that’s like saying to a kid “ok here is a match don’t start a fire”.
@ Chaba
if nothing else I can agree to cap squads at 20. it would be a decent start to getting better quality fights.

its funny. eotm is meant to be for wvw map q overflow yet you can enter it anytime. so all it does is take away from wvw population. seems to me that whatever bonuses you get from eotm you could also get from wvw. I would rather have uplevels and pve people then no one at all, or tiny groups / collection of roamers and scouts which seems like what wvw is most of the time. I think the uplevel system could stand to be upgraded, maybe to 3k armor 20k hp baseline or something. with all of the noobs in the general wvw population, skill groups of 20 wiping a blob of 60 could be a popular thing again.
its unfortunate that guilds and skill groups aren’t the focus of wvw.
you always have the option of running tagless and targeting your driver.
wvw needs simplicity. adding more redundant stuff that makes things more complicated is like putting a second hoop on a basketball backboard. its already a great task for a lot of people to simply get in ts, get on a meta build, stay on tag, dodge through damage, stay on tag, blast water, coordinate bombs… now youre asking to put some kinda “job template” on top of this.
so no. good idea in general but I cant agree to this tomfoolery.
free choice will give the option for more people to make the wrong one. how would you balance this for small scale/solo? what would happen if everyone wanted to have one particular job and no one chose the necessary ones like builder? it would be a constant struggle to get people to not be selfish. that’s already nearly impossible for most people and their “custom builds/gameplay”. people do what they want and that’s fine, if youre the type of person who likes to play backline pewpew ranger and not frontline when your zerg is constantly wiping to another zerg with a stronger frontline.

this is interesting. I think changing the win score to 400 might be beneficial for this.

with some meaningful updates and actual moderating against hackers that game could have been magnificent. I think the backing for it dried up so they rushed it. then there is the culture of “release and repeat” (tribes, smite), where games aren’t treated like living things but rather 5$ bulk flea market bananas. not entirely their fault since making a game is a massive undertaking. also firefall came along and carved out some of global agendas potential market as well.
any who, condi specs aren’t op in pvp, but they are in large scale wvw. just learn animations and dodge.
engiiiii
it is the most best fun class with upstanding class
so youre saying you want more bauble for your bubble?
invuln would be way more useful.
not sure why I feel like sharing this but I think the best pvp game ive ever played was global agenda. it was (dead game) a combination of a third person shooter, 10v10, mmorpg based classes and gameplay, but the whole time it felt like halo. here is some footage I recorded of what it was like. sorry about the quality.
cant say for population of eso but there are completely insane passive procs that ruin that game (even tho they’ve been nerfed recently). if youre good enough it will be less of an issue but still it looks really bad. haven’t actually leveled up far enough to try it but ive looked at the skill descriptions, equated it to hp levels in videos I watched, and finally roamed the forums. I don’t think I’m going to bother leveling up any further.
I would be remiss if I didn’t add my current server info, so here goes!
TC t4
na 50+
eu early 5-10 slowly buidls to na #s
early sea has dwindling na #s 10-20ish (not entirely sure) and drops off at around 2am pst. stays dead until eu.
fluctuation – server rising. we dropped far when some guilds left but we are slowly scraping our way back up.
playstyle – na map blob desperately needs frontline. some good guilds and roamers.
voice/website – ts3 and discord. great website and community.
ts.tarnished-coast.com http://tarnished-coast.com/forum/
notes – needs ocx presence to rise. very good opportunity for na commander looking to take people from blob and forge them into warriors. needs eu fight commander, some recruiting/organizing necessary but there are some numbers to work with.
Big thanks to the people who have already posted and too all the rest who will. Its people like you who make the world a better place. Cheers!

I agree strongly with the first one. very strongly.
the second one makes sense for certain skills. examples:
war elite signet
death shroud 4-5
ele glyphs
you really don’t have to choose between two classes. leveling up and getting geared is insanely easy in this game.
I am thinking of transferring off of my current WvW server and I’m sure there are plenty of others thinking the same. The problem is that I don’t know what the current situation is on other servers/tiers. I would like to get the full picture before choosing, and so the purpose of this post is for other people to contribute their knowledge of their server so others can make an educated decision. If you don’t know just leave a question mark. Heres how it works:
Server name / tier
NA timezone #s
EU
OCX/SEA
Fluctuations: is your server falling, rising, or staying.
Playstyle: say whatever you want. Being accurate and concise is the name of the game.
Voice comms / website status
Notes: same as above, concise and whatnot.
Example
Hodor Server t6
na 20ish
eu 10
ocx/sea ?
stay
fights when possible
ts3, website link here
reset night eb q, double numbers on weekends. some smaller guilds that roam not counted in total zerg size.
Cmon people, please tell the truth. You don’t want resentful people on your server. They will do one of 3 things: transfer off, not organize, or actively work against you.

a while back I think it was ben (anet staff) who said they don’t want to reward top stats because it would cause players to go after that rather then win the game.
this has happened to me but to a lesser extent with ranger lb4 and engi toolkit5.
its possible. anet upped the games required to stay on leaderboard and I’m wondering if that has an effect on things. I don’t think they changed anything else besides this and the addition of <Profession max=“2” common=“-100” unique=“0” matching=“100”/>.

why are people so obsessed with the bird people? who cares! life goes on.
well maybe unranked is full of idiots
alright everywhere is full of idiots but unranked is practically their den
add dire too lol
we are gonna get another tonic update. this time all tonics can jump, which is actually a really good fix. I can finally do jumping puzzles in the best tonic available, the snowman.
so what is the bruiser for? is it frontline or small team roaming? for frontline you will need more armor. for roaming you will need precision, decimate defenses will not help so much vs cleanses. precision will always be better if you can dodge attacks. the bruiser build also has more ferocity then is necessary. i’m guessing the tank build is going to be a frontline zerg build. it uses blood+death magic which aren’t very good. your minions will not live long enough to transfer condis, and blood magic has nothing useful save for shorter cds for wells which is still not worth taking the traitline imo. it looks too tanky, needs a bit of damage to be effective.
I will have my tear bucket ready.
first run to the spot where they sword tele’d to you to take away some of their mobility. they will keep trying to run away to use that teleport so you have to commit 100% into pressuring them so that they cant do anything but run. then its a matter of dodging and avoiding the whip, either with gs4, transferring the immob, or rs3.
maybe make downed state rally from dealing a greater amount of damage to a single player. right now its easy to get tags in group battles and rely on them to rally you.
depends on if your class can put out good heals. I would only go with such tankyness if you are facing 30+ and just cant survive the pushes no matter how you play it. also being really tanky means you have to keep up a lot more pressure to achieve the same results in terms of dps, so it also depends on if your group strategy will change with the gear. if not, and you are going in for short bursts and pirate shipping for a lot of the time, then you will be dead weight. all in all though its best to start wvw in a tanky setup to get used to the flow.
in terms of tankyness, its possible to gear for toughness and vitality if other classes in your group can cover the heals. for example this build is really tanky and has much better dps then nomads, but not nearly the amount of heals. so again it depends on your group as well.

don’t do it dude.
nerf arc divider range and get rid of some condis on skull grinder, namely the cripple. maybe a 30%ish nerf to adrenal health, but I would do that after the fist nerf just to see how it settles.
also I think the endure pain auto proc should have a longer cd like other professions and their cds.
meh. I sported the 4 starter slots with size 15 bags on my toons until the other day. it really depends on how much gear you need vs what you want to have possible. the possible stuff is discard able.
if you get bigger bags, you will just fill those up after a while and want more space. its all on you.
coincidentally Janthir was the name of a 61st level illuminati arch priest who defected
troof
aren’t you guys in the pro csgo circuit?
anywho, good luck in creating a community here in gw2. there are some good fights to be had.
wow I bet if there was a piece of trash blowing its way across the street you wouldn’t cross “cuz ruined”

I don’t understand your reasoning at all. maybe there is none.
should pc change the way we think
yes, probably
dh – combo of defense, cc, and sustain
war – pulsing stab in berserk, range of headbutt and arc divider
rev – pewpew ham
rang – druidic clarity+celestial shadow+ancient seeds really stronk, some pets hitting really hard
eng – tons of defense and constant pressure
teef – unhindered combatant, impacting disruption stacking
ele – combo of all sustain traits make them really hard to kill
nec – so many corrupts
mes – torment on shatter, pve confusion
some of these I don’t consider op by themselves, but I felt it would be a good idea to give a complete list.
snipples
it happens enough for it to be a problem, apparently.
well offhand dagger sucks. that’s why.
so it seems to me this “scoring penalty” is something to measure a players skill with a particular class. the over time vs fixed amount I think is an improvement to its accuracy. over all good changes!
good job anet.

I think the most demoralizing thing about wvw is to win most of the fights yet lose most of the ppt. imo objectives should be considered secondary.
the problem for me is half the people that try to communicate and tell others what to do don’t really get it themselves so I tend not to listen. if they seem chill and want to win then ill follow directions, but sometimes I get tunnel vision.
that skill is already really strong.
they call name, they don’t care, such mean why they allow do this no fair pls nerf
Its not the nuts, its the seeds.
best
The drunk build is about drinking elixirs (a new version of the old kitless rifle burst engi build).
oh lol. I see.
