I didn’t mention damaging conditions back then cuz they weren’t a problem, but I think a hard cap on the stacks might be warranted. idk.
yeah lol I encountered this only once yesterday. I thought it was just me since my game crashed earlier and I had to run -repair. anywho weird bug.
this elixir gun #4 isn’t working with alchemical tinctures.
most other classes trait auto procs have higher cds then their utility counterparts. defy pain shouldn’t be any different.
the trait king of fires gives you fire aura, but its removed when going berserk + and using berserker skills.
this is in pvp.

i think the biggest possible positive change would be to boost all current useless/bad traits+utility skills so that there is more variety to choose from. more variety means more builds and with that diversity we wont be stuck in 1 stale role.
also the +30% stun duration sigil didn’t show an increase in duration on my skill tooltips while on my mes.
im on my rev and its not working.

just a note, with pistol 2 you can land a full unload at a decent enough range.
if only necros could steal stealth, then we’d be in business.
ive never felt sorry for Mesmer about anything, but I gotta say the extra summon attacks are really kittenin weak.
it seems like it was meant for pvp yet all modes got the change.
skill balance team is semi afk.
the meta build works just fine. minstrel imo is a waste on everything except boonshare Mesmer. you definitely want to be doing some damage as a guardian or else fights take too long, to the point you cant really kill anything.

in terms of straight up tankyness, you cant go wrong with the 4600 armor guard build. you will be a one man frontline.

thats what i ran with good success. the shiro/staff is only for survival and nothing else. you could go sword/sword or shield and drop invocation or retribution but imo glint isnt really necessary. i also find sword/x to be worse defensively then staff. also there is a sigil missing (not to mention the site hasnt been updated yet), the remove a condi on weap swap one. for even more defense and less pressure you could go with mace/sword. people dismiss offhand sword but its pretty decent. alot better then shield imo.

lol, it will take all of 5 seconds to read a skill description and “learn” the changes. you are describing a non issue. i think skill splitting is fine. it makes balance easier for anet, and it means they can tailor certain things to not be too op. as long as they keep fine tuning and dont just leave things as they are for too long (which is way worse then skill splitting) .
its the range that is a problem, not cast time.
barely anyone has projectile defense that can be active while a player uses another skill. why do people use this as a defense for cc spam? also los’ing isnt much help in conquest where the objective is to stand on point and cap it. this isnt a duelling server we’re talking about.
Hmm someone should read patch notes, Choking Gas has an ICD….. 2 to be precise one on the poison pulse and one on the daze..
Choking Gas: Increased damage by 200%. This skill now briefly dazes foes with 5 or more stacks of poison every pulse. The same foe cannot be dazed more than once every second.
doesnt need stab or condi pressure at range. can get decent condi clear with 2 sigils + trait and resistance uptime. theyre not vulnerable to cc that much lol. i think you should take the time to test it out, its pretty stronk.

there were always duration sigils, all they did was amp them up by 5%.
i went with mace/axe mallyx and staff shiro. staff shiro is just for jukes and survival.
deadshot amulet / torment rune for maximum damage.
looks to me like they are los’ing.
the mesmer group does plenty of damage if you are caught in front of them.
im not sure there are words to express how broke they are right now.
