yeah, just checked. The FX-8350 is 0.2 better in single core performance. Guess I’ll wait a bit and pick up Intel sometime later.

Well, it’s not just for this game. Good news at least, my motherboard is compatibile with AM3+ chips – just have to snag a new FX and that should help out quite a bit.

So I run an AMD Phenom X2 1100T, which the current i7 processors are barely better, 8 gb ram, I run 100 FPS in BF4, faster than 80% of all machines on the 3d mark benchmark tests and the best I’m going to do is 30 FPS in Rata Sum at Max graphics?

Everywhere I go, the maps are just jammed. Temples will never close again. There are people at EVERY event I come across no matter what map.

Granted, I like seeing people everywhere. I think it’s neat.

But the plus to this feature stops there.

Guildmates are not arriving in the same map. Guild missions are a headache. And any sense of community is toast.

Need more zones to spread people out. That won’t solve the community problem, but all the zones are absolutely packed.

Try and make the difference between. The game has nothing, and the game needs something.

Good to hear by the way, in wvw they still don’t live long. But the reflect is wonderfull

I don’t have any issues keeping them alive in sPvP. I don’t detonate them, not even the healing turret. To be honest, I stack all of them on one point, along with supply crate. I run the reflect shield and the new trait that allows turrets to give buffs. Thieves stand no chance against me, and I find the constant blind from flame turret frustrates people.

I can survive 2 on 1’s and 3 on 1’s for a long time. And it’s funny as hell watching people ping themselves to death on the reflect shields when they’re not paying attention.

As for WvW, turrets are still an issue as they die quickly to AoE – HOWEVER. The reflect shield is incredibly nice for choke points.

As for dungeons, turrets seem to do just fine.

Okay, I see what you did with the megaserver. Fantastic. Lots of people on the map.

But now there are lots of people on the map doing the same things at once, including guild missions. And it’s been a royal pain getting people from our guild all in the same map while trying to do them.

They are called “guild” missions, not “random blob of people” missions.

The content is absolutely trivialized when there’s a ton of people doing it at once.

Please make them instanced.

Conditions can be removed/cleansed. As an elixir engineer, I laugh at conditions.

You can’t do anything against extreme crit damage. It deserved a nerf and I’m glad for it. Conditions can be controlled – getting 3 shot cannot.

All the other world bosses are great – fire elemental has the shadow behemoth bug of before, where it’s not scaling properly. Went down in 20 seconds last night. Just FYI.

All you have to do in WvW is run trains of warriors and guardians. They can do all and are better at most everything than everyone else. Oh, and don’t forget, both can stunlock you to death.

I don’t feel it’s been a concern. On Ehmry Bay, people know who the guilds are. Anyone making a duplicate would simply get stamped out. As it stands, there are no duplicate guilds on that server at all.

Question about megaserver (and others)

I had a question about the megaserver. We started off with separate servers. So every now and again there would be guilds with duplicate tags, which was fine, because they were on separate servers. With the new megaserver, are we going to see duplicate tags of those guilds running around, even though they’re not of the same guild? What if someone is being a giant troll and wears the same tag of another guild but isn’t apart of that guild?

Also, looking for a general timeline on when we might see the following things:
1.) New guild missions.
2.) Guild halls.
3.) Trading post improvements.

I see what you’re trying to do here. I get it.

And I suppose I’ll wait to see how this affects guilds/WvW/world bosses, etc.

But I joined Ehmry Bay to be part of the Ehmry Bay community. Not to be stacked into maps with a bunch of random people I don’t know.

If I have to start ferrying my guild into maps that MOST of us are in due to this change or anything like that, it’ll be time for me to move on.

First, I want to thank everyone at Anet for the awesome changes so far. Very excited for all of them. I especially like the PvP announcement.

Still looking for that big news though. Whether it’s guild halls, new missions, custom arena setup to where you can play the daily games with guildmates, something new I can grind my teeth on. A lot of these features so far, while pretty awesome, are pretty fluffy.

Still 3 unlocks to go. I guess we’ll see.

Better late then never. Show some gratitude.

For all unneeded things, better never than late. To a formerly living or functioning thing, good things received late are valueless.

There is a threshold when late becomes too late, and never becomes the more appropriate time. A late lunch can spoil dinner if received too closely in scheduling. Such is the way lateness can afflict things that run in cycles.

When dealing with contagion, lateness allows it to spread. Too late allows it to be disposed of safely. It’s better to be both early and qualified though.

The appropriate idiom that holds true under more circumstances is: It’s better to be late than too late. Also, better never than too late.

There are first impressions; and then there are ‘last impressions’. When operating within the status of last impressions, the influences of reformative action are vastly reduced. In rarer circumstances, a ‘final impression’ state may even exist to denote the point when something can change and no longer influence the impression. And so, none of this ‘late’ or ‘never’ or ‘too late’ conversation really matters in this situation as much as the simpler question: Are moves like this going to instill enough trust to withstand the rapid confidence depletion that’s already been occurring? Isn’t it more effective to curb the current ‘trust depletion functions’ than it is to try to offset them with separate small ‘trust generating ones’?

Will unid dyes stop dropping or something after feature patch?

Unidentified Dyes will no longer drop after the feature patch. Currently the methods to get one besides drop:

Harvesting (small chance)
Black Lion Chest
Laurel merchant (10 for 5 laurels)
Dye Pack (200 Gems)
Mystic Forge

Whether or not it will remain from harvesting is unknown, but it’s highly likely in my opinion.

Yes, I’m enjoying the game. I still feel it needs an expansion as things are getting a bit stale.

With that said, I’m on one of the smaller servers and my guild is growing. Not sure what your guys’s issue is.

I’ve brought this up before, but never got much of a response. But hey, I figure keep on trying. =P

If achievements for these activities were disabled in the custom arena, is there no way it could be used for keg brawl, southsun survival, etc? So you could play with your guildmates or friends?

Anyone else having issues with this path?

When we first got to the golem, we were making it through until we reached the lightning turret. Even with the golem shield up, it annihilated everyone. There were tons of mobs surrounding the turret attacking it, so we couldn’t target it. And only people with invulnerability could get past.

Plus they seem to have removed the waypoint after that part.

Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions?
