Depending on where you are located in Asia (there are 11 time zones in Asia) it is possible that your location is 12 hours ahead of where the servers are located on the West Coast of the U.S.A.
If this is the case, then your server time (GMT -7) and local time (GMT +5) would look the same numerically, but one would say AM and the other would say PM.
Is this the case? Does your time change from AM to PM, or PM to AM, when you change from Local to Server time?
The name of the Exotic Axe, “Titans’ Vengance”, is misspelled.
It is actually spelled “Vengeance”. The ‘e’ is missing.
It is also [Titan’s], not [Titans’], because it is singular possessive, not plural possessive.
The axe is the Vengeance of a Titan or someone named Titan; Titan’s Vengeance.
Unless it is referring to The Titans, as a group, and the axe is the vengeance of the group of The Titans. Then it would, indeed, be Titans’ Vengeance, though it’d be better to include “The” before it; The Titans’ Vengeance.
Just curious if it is a single Titan, or a group of Titans whose Vengeance is this axe.

I didn’t even look to get anything refunded.
Because of things I was buying not actually buying (so I thought), I only made a few repeated attempts to purchase items before I figured something was wrong. Everything I bought, because each attempt actually did end up buying the items, ended up getting dropped into my pick up tab once it got sorted out. So the duplicates I didn’t need, that I actually did purchase from several purchase attempts, I just ended up re-listed them again. I only lost a little bit of coin due to the re-listing fees and taxes, but I recouped most of the coin I was spending due to the issue.
As in the comment in that thread I linked, support advised not making any more purchases until it got sorted out. Every single purchase attempt you made did end up going through, despite the error given. So if you did do a bunch of buy clicks then expect your pick up tab to end up being filled with all of those purchases when it gets fixed. I’d recommend seeing if you can re-list the item copies you don’t need/didn’t intend to buy to recoup most of the coin again.

I have had this issue before. I mainly went through support to resolve it, though I generally had to wait for a maintenance to be performed for the game before it got fixed. Though from the time the issue started for me until when it was resolved was also several weeks of having no TP. :\
Thread for back when I had it.
I hope your support ticket has been updated with them telling you it can be corrected soon, otherwise leave a comment on this thread (Tickets for Review (3 days and older) [merged]) and include your support ticket number and Gaile should be able to help with resolving this issue since it has been going on for so very long.
I believe Manasa Devi was referring to the legs clipping issue as being fixed, rather than the topic of the thread which is the shoulder piece clipping into the face.
However, my statement of still experiencing the clipping was actually in reference to both the leggings clipping and the shoulder feathers clipping issues.
So, for me, no changes seem to have yet been made to correct either of those issues. :\
As this thread is reporting the shoulder issue specifically, I suggest discussions on the leggings clipping issue be continued over here where the legging clipping issue is the topic of that thread.
I saw that the karma boosts no longer affect consumable karma, so I ‘chugged’ over 120 Drops of Liquid Karma and about 40 Jugs of Liquid Karma that I was saving up.
Then they released the retraction patch and statement.
I just now received a mail containing 10 Kegs of Liquid Karma, 1 Vial of Liquid Karma, and 2 Drops of Liquid Karma.
It is very odd. I did not consume any Kegs or Vials between when the limited consumable patch was live and the retraction patch. I did, however, consume much, much more in that time (as noted above).
I’m a little confused as to the logic they used in determining what was to be sent in these ‘replacement’ mails. I’m not asking for additional items to be sent, karma is pretty worthless still and I have over 2.7mil as it is, I’m just trying to understand how they came up with those three items based on what I actually did consume.

Unfortunately for me, it is still clipping pretty badly on several of my characters.
I have this issue noted in the ‘Functionality’ section of my Tracker – Living World/Game Update Bugs thread. A dev has responded to the issue as well.
He said hotfix, which means not a traditional patch, the ones every 2 weeks. This rune set has worked for the past few weeks.
Yes, I know he said “hotfix”. His stating “hotfix” was 15 days ago and there were several hotfixes between then and the new content update of August 20th. I didn’t see it mentioned in the patch notes for the hotfixes since then, and players have not mentioned in the thread that it was resolved, and it was not mentioned in the new August 20th patch notes, so I wanted to get an actual response in this thread that the issue was resolved. I wanted to verify that it was, indeed, fixed, so I can then remove it from my bug tracker thread.
I rescanned all of the patch notes and hotfix updates and I now see that it was mentioned, I just had not seen it previously. Even still, patch notes have included incorrect statements in the past of issues being fixed that persisted even after the “fixed” statement in the patch notes.
Player verification is key as I’ve learned to not always trust patch notes. So, your stating that it has been fixed for 2 weeks is good news. And thank you for updating this thread with that fact. I’ll now move it to “fixed” in my tracker.

The item is still dyed in the colors it was when worn by your other character.
If you now wear it on a new character then it will still be dyed to the colors it was for your other character, even if your new character does not have those dyes unlocked.
If you go to change some of the dyes, but leave a dye color on a slot that is not unlocked for that character, then any changes will not be saved.
To change the dyes on the new character, you must unlock the used dye on your new character that was applied to the item by your other character, remove or replace any colors on the item that your character does not have unlocked, or leave the item to forever remain in the colors it is in right now.
Character 1 dyes the item all Abyss
If Character 2 can wear the item then they can wear it and it remains Abyss even if they don’t have Abyss unlocked.
For Character 2 to change the dyes, all Abyss must be removed/replaced with another color for changes to be saved
Character 2 can also simply unlock Abyss for Character 2 so changes to other dye slots while also keeping Abyss on a dye slot can be saved.
I don’t know why the Vorpp Holo-communicator is soulbound either.
The good news is that you can pick up another Holo-communicator from Vorpp for your other characters.
Sadly, you cannot replay the Closing Ceremony to get a new Holo-communicator from Vorpp inside of the instance, and there is no indication of where Vorpp is in the world after you’ve done the Closing Ceremony. You kind of have to just happen across Vorpp to get a new one as you’re not told where he is.
Logically, he should be standing where he was at the end of the Closing Ceremony, in the place where players last see him. Unfortunately for us, he’s actually west down the stairs from the Pavilion Waypoint, and then north slightly at the edge of the arena wall and he’s standing next to a machine of some kind. Talk to this Vorpp on your other character to get a new Holo-communicator.
This was reported almost a month ago, but I haven’t seen any updates on it.
Has it been corrected in this latest August 20th update despite the new patch notes not specifically stating that it was fixed?
No fix was included for this issue in the patch notes for the August 20th update, despite the dev post in this thread stating it would be in the next patch.
Has this issue been fixed with the new update? Confusion no longer applies to self and is instead correctly applied to enemy on hit?
Here is a list of NA and EU server IP addresses. I’m not sure how up to date it is though as it is from 8 months ago. You can try pinging each of them or just the ones that are relevant to your area to see if it is still valid.
Though someone here says this list is not of pingable addresses.
http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/95655/is-there-a-list-of-guild-wars-2-servershttps://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/wuv/wuv/Updated-World-Ratings-Dec-7/947794
Those are WvWvW Rankings from 8 months ago and are NO way IP address in anyway at all.
At that link you will see there actually are IP addresses listed in the posts. Though I also stated in my post that others state that they are not pingable addresses. So, yes, they are not the correct IP addresses for the servers, but your statement that they are “NO way IP address in anyway at all” is false. They are IP addresses, just not the correct ones…again, as I stated in my post.

Most impressive.

I would very much like to see fan skins, especially with variations of materials and colors or designs.
Here is a screenshot to clarify a bit.
Rune Set Bonus #6: “50% chance to summon a radition field on hit.”
As mentioned, “radition” should be “radiation”.
Here is a list of NA and EU server IP addresses. I’m not sure how up to date it is though as it is from 8 months ago. You can try pinging each of them or just the ones that are relevant to your area to see if it is still valid.

Someone also says:
“PvP Areas are hosted in different hosts than the worlds are, so your PvE/Questing Ping may be different than the sPVP/WvW one”
“WvW and sPvP matches are also hosted on arbitrary servers, so if you’re looking to minimize your ping to gain an advantage in PvP, you’re out of luck.”
I’ll see if I can dig up a more recent and pingable listing of them.
Apparently those are not good IPs up there:
“64.25.xxx.xxx IPs are the NA servers in Texas. The 206.127.xxx.xxx IPs are the EU servers in Germany.”

Class: Necromancer
Issue: Self-inflicted conditions do not count toward the “Condition Remover” Daily Task
Description:
I believe that removing a condition that you had applied to yourself does not count toward the 20 removed conditions required for the Daily Achievement task “Condition Remover”. It is not stated in the Condition Remover Daily Task description that it must be a condition applied by an enemy that is removed for it to count.
Tested Removal of Self-Inflicted Conditions
Not Yet Tested
Class: Necromancer
Issue: Conditions on the player, self-inflicted or otherwise, that are removed via minions do not count toward the “Condition Remover” Daily Task
I will update this with the results of more testing done by myself and other players.
(edited by StinVec.3621)
wrong it also say you ve played x houers on your character over the past y months
then ther is a second text
played xx houers across all your characters over the past yy months
Ah, I see. I was mistaken. It actually does state the # of hours spent on the character over the last # of days/months. It sends two messages to the chat, one for time spent on the current character over ‘x’ days/months, the other with time spent across all characters over ‘x’ days/months. For some reason I thought that /age used to send only a single message to chat where it stated only the number of hours on the current character and then the number of hours on all characters across the lifetime of the account all in the same message.
So, logged in today to finish the meta… and there’s no Queen’s Jubilee Daily listed? I’m at 15/16 for the Meta, and just want to finish it.
Anyone know?
Thanks!
Interesting. I just checked to see if I had a Jubilee related daily task and I do not have one either. I don’t know if this is somehow related to today technically being the 20th already in some areas of the world and with the 20th being when the next game update will be. Perhaps it was an oversight to where someone forgot to include a Jubilee related daily task for the same day as the new patch update.
I’d say wait until later today when the new patch goes out to see if dailies get updated with different task listings that may be related to the next story installment and also count toward the Jubilee daily.
“Projected Profit” is actually “Sell Price” minus “10% Sell Fee” and does not also subtract the “%5 Listing Fee” when displaying “Projected Profit”?
So a player’s “Actual Profit” is really “Displayed Projected Profit” minus “Listing Fee” that must be manually calculated to determine?
I vaguely remember something about this being mentioned in a thread in the BLTC sub-forum regarding TP Taxes a long time ago. I hadn’t given it much thought since then, but now I’m a little interested in if this really is accurate to what is going on with Projected Profit.
If you browse the Gem Store tab do any graphics load at all?
If so, is your current supply of gems (even if zero) being displayed in the upper left corner or is there graphics but no number displayed?
This is a sign of one problem.
Another problem entirely is related to some players reporting recently that an issue has popped up for them to where no elements will load for them in the TP (other than the Pick Up tab). Some of those reported a full reinstall as fixing their problem…but this is an extreme solution to the problem and it might not work for everyone.
If no elements will load for you at all, then I believe the problem is related to the “awesomium_process.exe” program. This program is created in a temporary folder on your computer upon bringing up the BLTP after loading into the game, which is then executed and required for the BLTP to function properly.
If, for some reason, this program is not being created in the temp folder, or if that created program is not able to execute due to a permissions//UAC or access the Internet due to a firewall issue, then the TP cannot load.
After you load into your game and bring up the BLTP, alt+tab out of your game and run your Windows Task Manager (ctrl+alt+delete keys). Check to make sure the “awesomium_process.exe” program is running.
If the program is running, you may need to check your anti-virus and/or firewall programs to ensure this program is not being blocked from accessing the Internet.
I wanted to make an official bug report for this issue, even if it is a minor one, as I have it mentioned in my Tracker – Living Story/Game Update Bugs thread.
Applying a Zenith Achievement Weapon Skin to a weapon removes the previously existing sigil suffix from the weapon’s name in the end product.
Example:
“Berserker Short Bow of Fire” becomes “Zenith Short Bow”, not “Zenith Short Bow of Fire”.
Also, adding a new sigil to a weapon that has a Zenith skin applied to it does not add the new sigil suffix to its name.
Example:
“Zenith Short Bow” remains as “Zenith Short Bow” after applying a new sigil to it.

This is an awesome thread, StinVec. I just wanted to say thank you for your hard-work.
I’ll post any updates in the individual threads.
Thank you very much for your kind words, Josh!
I really look forward to any updates or comments you can give on any of these issues. Spending a few hours roaming the forums is enough to drive one out of their mind, so we definitely appreciate your presence and time spent in these forums and on these reported issues!
No problem! I really don’t like seeing issues go unresponded to, especially ones that a very small minority may be affected with. Any issue that lessens the enjoyment of gameplay for one person is as important as an issue that affects thousands, to me. I’m glad to hear it was only due to that little sliver of experience needed to unlock it. I personally have issues with how skills are unlocked, and this exact situation is reason for one of them.
Happy Ranger Romping!
I found that other thread with no responses from 4 months ago.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Ranger-Axe-skill-5-Can-t-click-it
So the issue is with:
I’ll bring up my ranger and see if I can do anything to reproduce this issue to then see if I can undo it again
A few questions though, if you don’t mind:
Just wanted to see if you’d mind giving a little more info that can possibly help reproduce it.
(edited by StinVec.3621)
Have you attempted to swap weapons back and forth to see if it corrected the glitched skill?
Or try to un-equip and re-equip the axe to see if that corrected it?
After those have you tried completely closing your game and reopening it to see if the glitch persisted across game sessions?
It appears your Trading Post guy is selected to be hidden.
/age in GW1 WOULD tell you how old the character was (in months). Never tried this in GW2….what exactly does it state?
Nevermind (just tired it)….states the exact same as GW1.
It only states the number of hours that have been spent on that specific character, no hint as to how long the character has existed. The ‘months’ portion is related to time spent across all characters.
“Across all characters, you have played for <x> hours <y> minutes over the past <z> days/months.”
We have this issue in the tracker.
Thanks for the report!
And thank you for your response, Josh.
Your voicing the awareness of this issue by the dev team is a very welcome and refreshing sight. I’m sure many of us look forward to the future resolution of this issue.
Also, please note that since the Zephyrite Helm shares the same effects as the Radiant Armor, that the Zephyrite Helm encounters an issue with the Juggernaut effects as well. Though, I assume that correcting how Radiant Armor effects conflict with Juggernaut would also correct the issue with the Zephyrite Helm effects conflicting with Juggernaut as well.
(edited by StinVec.3621)
Thanks for the report! I’ll forward this along.
Thank you very much, Josh.
A simply report acknowledgement post such as this certainly helps ease the tension building in the community over issues going seemingly unnoticed for so long.
We are tracking this issue. Thanks for the reports, all!
Thank you for the update on this issue. Even a little post to show you are aware that there is an issue goes a very long way in settling concerns and it reflects positively on the company.
gw2 camera tool, look it up
GW2 Camera Tool and GW2CameraUnlocker utilities offer features that give players an unfair advantage and, as such, use of them have been deemed bannable by ArenaNet.
Look it up.
This isn’t exactly a top priority, considering the amount of people who own juggernaut.
plus this isn’t game breaking so, suck it up.
If this bug persisting and affecting the enjoyment of the game for some players isn’t enough reason for this thread to exist, there is also the fact that the Radiant armor isn’t only having issues with Juggernaut. If you look, you will see that there are many issues involving the Radiant armor conflicting with crucial elements of gameplay, some of which actually are game breaking for some classes. Mesmer phantasms is one example and thief with stealth is another, both of which should be top priority as the bugs related to them and Radiant armor are game breaking for their class mechanics in WvW and PvP. Your comment was aggressive, insulting, ill-informed and was completely unnecessary as it added absolutely nothing to the discussion of the topic of this thread.
Michael, I hope this clarifies the situation.
Each GW2 game serial code is associated with its own account. Each account has its own email address associated with it. You cannot link multiple GW2 serial codes to a single account/login. Everything is separate.
You owned one serial code/copy of the game. Let’s call that “Copy1”
You have now purchased another copy of the game that has a different serial code with it. Let’s call this “Copy2”
This means each account must have its own email address associated with it.
You basically need to treat yourself as a completely different person when dealing with each of the accounts and everything basically needs to be done twice.
I recommend creating a log or journal to keep track of all your information for each of the two accounts so you can keep all information related to one separate from the other. And keep this log very safe for your personal use if you need it to refresh your memory of which account had which issue, if there are future issues.
Copy1:

Game Login Password
Forum Login Name

And then all of this same information saved for Copy2
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/Been-there-Done-that-Title
Basically, any time they add a new waypoint or POI your title is taken away. You need to go get that new WP/POI in order to reacquire your title. It’s very silly, but I think they are trying to use this as a way of encouraging people who have “been there and done that” to actually go to the new places in order to keep their titles.
At least that is my understanding of how it works. I’ve seen others state that the new POIs and WPs are not needed to retain the title if you’ve already earned it. So I’m still unsure and I’m sorry I can’t give more clean cut answers on that subject.

A core being parked does not mean that it is not used or prevented from running at the 60% seen in your screenshots.
If you aren’t interested in that route, alright then. But just wanted you to understand what parking actually is and how it limits the CPU before saying it won’t help. You might want to consider looking at the info I linked in the second link I offered on core parking.
“You can easily have a 75% total CPU load and still have parked cores!”
If you don’t want to go that route, which should help if your CPU does park cores, and would rather focus on your GPU, then perhaps look into the GPU clock stepping between 2d and 3d applications that AMD cards have had an issue with not stepping up the clock when 3D programs are running.
One quick way is to fully disable 2d clock settings, so the card is forced to always run at 3d clock settings when a game is running. This application has a good and quick 2d clock setting disable option: http://www.hisdigital.com/un/news_show-237.shtml
(edited by StinVec.3621)
Regarding what Avelos mentioned about making sure your card is running at PCI-E x16
In this photo, is your card socketed into the PCIEx16 slot (right blue) or the PCIEx8 slot (center blue)?
http://cdn.overclock.net/2/2c/2c317822_vbattach215785.jpeg
It sounds like it may be socketed into the x8 slot since you’ve decreased your card clocks down to minimal in AMD OD and saw no performance change. Were it socketed into the x16 slot then there should have been a noticeable change in performance.
If it is socketed into the PCI-E x16 slot then, due to GW2 being so heavily CPU bound, perhaps it isn’t related to your GPU settings. Try focusing on your CPU.

Several months ago there was a game update that inadvertently caused heavy shoulders to become very large and stretch awkwardly over the shoulders, thus causing a lot of clipping issues and making characters look utterly ridiculous.
It has been reported many, many times and it has yet to even be acknowledged, let alone fixed. Sadly, I think the only real option is to no longer have shoulder armor visible until the issue is eventually corrected.

Not AVG (the anti-virus), VGA (graphics drivers).
I believe it is due to a corrupted driver file. I recommend not just reinstalling your graphics drivers, but running a driver cleanup utility for your graphics card brand and OS version in order to completely remove any files that may be corrupt and then reinstalling the drivers.
Simply reinstalling drivers does not always replace the existing drivers and files. Many installers simply check the existing versions of the files to make sure they are properly ‘signed’ and are the correct file size, etc. If it matches, then it does not replace it, thus leaving the corrupted file to still be on your system even with a reinstall.
It’s best to uninstall/wipe existing drivers before reinstalling them. If you need some help with this, what version graphics card are you using? Nvidia, AMD? I can link you to the cleanup utility for your manufacturer and to the latest drivers if you need.
You may find it helpful to uncheck the “Right-click to interact/attack” option. It helps stop the random NPC selection when the right mouse button starts having this tracking loss issue.
I also check the “Double-click to interact/attack” option so I interact with NPCs with a double left click.
It’s part of the bugs related to the Radiant achievement skins that they’ve not fixed.
I have these issues noted in the ‘Graphical’ section of my Tracker – Living Story/Game Update Bugs thread.
Graphical
No problem
I’m glad it was something that was quick to correct.
AMD released the 13.8 beta drivers earlier this month. Though it doesn’t list any fixes related to Eyefinity (it was mainly to address micro-stutter in single monitor, dual GPU DX10/11 games with frame pacing), is it possible you installed those beta drivers and that something related to it is the cause for Eyefinity working properly for you now?
I’d be more concerned if opponents in WvW and sPvP are seeing the same thing: if the phantasms exhibit graphical artifacts, but the player animation doesn’t, then that provides a huge advantage for other players.
Absolutely!
Unfortunately for mesmers wearing Radiant armor, the artifacts are also visible to everyone else around you. This also goes for this issue in relation to thieves using stealth with Radiant armor on.
Very surprised these issues have gone this long without a hotfix correcting it, let alone any acknowledgement that they even exist.

A few questions.
Q1. You mentioned having the same game settings on both, but are you sure you have FXAA anti-aliasing enabled or disabled on both? It seems that you have FXAA enabled on your HP, but off in your macbook. FXAA does tend to add a blur to the scene, which is how it smooths edges. If it is enabled on your HP but not on your macbook, then this could be the cause.
Q2. From what I can tell, it isn’t just a fogginess that is visible on the HP, it also seems like lower quality textures. What brand graphics card are you using on your HP? You may want to check into the settings in your graphics utility on your HP to ensure your texture related settings are on ‘high’ or ‘quality’, instead of performance. Low res textures will also cause the entire scene to appear very blurry.
KIKI, in your Lachesis Profile Manager for your GW2 profile, you’ve set buttons 4, 5, 6 and 7 to function as keyboard keys 7, 8, 9 and 0 (3 utility and 1 elite skill)?
Though Razer made profile switching an easy task through the Lachesis’ buttons, the configuration software isn’t quite so simple; as far as I can tell, you can only change profiles or select a new profile to edit with the mouse, and not by clicking on the profile names.
It’s possible that you do not have your GW2 profile set to become the active profile when GW2 launches (auto switch). So when you do launch GW2, the active profile may instead be the default one or a different one if there are others made.
You can check this also by hitting your Profile Button on the bottom of the mouse while playing GW2 to see if it switches to the GW2 profile you set up.

“since its not a universal problem”
I’ve never read anyone, anywhere ever state that they did not also see the ‘faces’ on their phantasms (and the other instances of issues with radiant armor) while using Radiant Vambraces. Can you mention where you saw someone state that it wasn’t an issue for every mesmer that uses Radiant Vambraces? I’m very curious about that now.
Also, I have this issue noted in the ‘Graphical’ section of my Tracker – Living Story/Game Update Bugs thread linking to this thread as it includes a good video showing the issue.
Graphical
Achievement Skins Issues:
Thank you StinVec, I can see you are already working on getting this fixed.
I, personally, cannot do anything to get it fixed. Sadly. Though I try to keep awareness of the issue up and keep players informed on the status of this and other issues with that thread. It also helps to check that thread to see if something has already been reported before making a new thread since the forum “search” feature has been broken for months.
:\
Not to state the obvious, but I really hope they fix this and other issues that are encountered daily by players.
