You can pug raids.

Oh! You’ve solved this entire problem then! Apparently raids are easily puggable, and everyone who says otherwise is wrong somehow.

Yes, depending of your connection hours and your own expérience, you can easily beat 6 or 7 boss / events in pug ( matthias and xera are, in my opinion, more difficult to pug)

Depending on your class/build and how many LI you have, that’s what pugs look at sadly. Skill has nothing to do with since you are never given the chance to show if you have said skills or not.

Joxer, depends on how pug team manage the team play. this week, my husband couldn’t get xera kill with 250+li team, later join 150li team couldn’t get it either, and later join 100li team, he got xera killed in second try.
People giving up too easily too.

I’m all ok for those but annoyed to see ppl who use lfg that says 2g for cleared tc.
There’s this guy in pug as soon as we cleared tc in w3 in the early days.. he sell the cleared instance.. I was in his group once and he died in early stage and how dare he sell it after ????

If anet make it available from NPC or a permanent version… Sigils and runes will drop in price massively

I hv recently seen an increase in numbers in new raiders and in lfg. I think a bit more time raids will be like dungeon runs.
Already pug group making no ts full smooth run it’s a matter of time.

Tier systems for Raids come up a lot as a result of what Fractals did. I worked on the original Fractals team and a tiered system with increased difficulty scaling was always part of the original plan for that team. It was never a plan for Raids. They are, and should remain, the most difficult content in the game.

Accessibility in terms of difficulty is something we talk a lot about internally. We’ve made efforts to help players get in by delivering entry level encounters that ease you into the content (STK) and you’ll see more of that in the next release. You’ll still see encounters that live up to previous raid expectations for mid tier and final bosses. And if you think Matthias is a chump then we have something for you as well.

Accessibility in terms of “Hey, my 5 man Fractal group wants to try raids, but we can’t find 5 other players!” is also something we talk about. It’s just a much more difficult problem to solve.

Hi I have been experiencing really really really consistent high ping the last few days.. today it is unplayable.
I used to experience these kind of ping usually 2 weeks before a big patch coming and couple of weeks after the big patch before it goes back to normal (my normal ping is 400 and I can manage this ping)……. at 1k and over, its unplayable for me. worse is that I am in raids :o Why have I always punished by lag /cry

Done all clear with pugs last night in EU .. nice ppl too no raging. Under 2.5 hours .. a few hiccups but no biggies

It will be nice to have new maps for fractal.. When molten first introduced as event it was great fun .. I love it. More such even introduced will be nice.. And eventually add into fractal mists after event finished.
I don’t mind how fractal is now esp with t4 bcos its good $ and karma. It is the only thing I do daily. I am not sure why I would log in the game if without these dailies

gz! always nice to hear ppl clear it the first time . few weeks ago I joined a Sabetha team, asking for 50li and no ts. sab cleared first try and no one dies, one guy typed out, I finally got my eternal thank you all! it was nice feeling.

I am in EU. I do not have issue with pugging in EU. plenty of party to join during reset.

Today our casual t4 took us 26mins clearing aquatic, snowbind, n chaos. We had me as druid, a chrono a PS an ele and a necro. we pugged the ele n he said he did chaos for the first time. And we don’t use food or tonic

This except I would argue that condi ps is almost always better in practice than power. Also I would advocate replacing an ele with a hammer guard for certain fractals like mai where hammer let’s you control her movement so you rip stacks faster and ultimately get a faster kill.

I would really like to thank you anet person who made chuka and champawat. It’s such a beautiful story that goes with the journey and quests for the collections .. I feel I’m some what responsible for what happen and after obtaining the bow I feel i hv accomplished something feel kind of attach to the bow! Although I’m officially broke again… really broke… :o but I still feel excited about the bow….Once again thank you!

QT has great DPS and players don’t take much damage so healing req is minor support. With pugs to be on save sides always be more defensive as druid unless the team is strong. If you hv a guy that’s always down..then switch to magi gear and keep stone spirit up near players location at all time esp on certain phases. If team still hv issues take healing spring and trapper traits. Healing spring not only heal it cleans conditions and recharge astral force like wonders. As soon as you go in celestial mode skill 4 immediately ensure that covers most players bcos it doesn’t only heal but also give grace of land to 5 stacks best defense offense support ! Hv fun playing druid

My journey in raids was not easy but until now and overall I had so so much fun in raids.. Lots of laughers frustrations and satisfaction too upon killing each boss.
My last 9 months raids all purely pugs (weekly). The early days were with a few friends and other players whom I pick up along the way.
There been a lot of improvements done since raid was firstly introduced and the recent change to xera was great!! Making it more challenging. Thank you. I got my xera yesterday with pugs in second run without TS in a pug team. The fix for updraft and gliding in raids pteviously donr was good job too it helps tremendously for us with 400 average ping. The introduction of the LFG makes my pug raids so much easier than before. In the early days, I had to go to Facebook, forum and in game to recruit more players to fill up our raids roaster to 10 players so we have a team to train together. Now you can jump into any group and also making it easier to find players of the like to form long term training raids using the lfg. The lfg does work. I wouldn’t complain too much of what I get and I’m a happy customer.
Pug raids aren’t as easy life as those who has steady strong players team. The reason I hv to pug bcos I play when the other sleep. Still lfg has made it easier and possible for me. Some days it takes me 2 hours to clear all raid bosses .. Last week and this week wasn’t as good I spend 6 hours clearing all bosses (with breaks in between).. But omg it was still fun hehe. If I don’t clear the bosses I will try the next day but usually I get them on same day with pugs.
Yesterday I joined a group the leader kicked me out after asking can I play chrono I said no only druid tempest and necro. He kicked so that’s fine I just look for another bcos I’m not going to be able to play what he want. I don’t think I need to get upset over that small thing bcos my focus was a good team to clear raids and a team I can work well with. Majority of pugs are good. And in ts I don’t talk until at KC when I need to push core I will unmute my ts but usually speaks very little.
Raids is a different content it design for a certain group of people who can enjoy. Some times I go PvP or wvwvw for certain reason but there are ppl who camp there all the time bcos they enjoys that part of game.

That’s really weird. I play with 400ping and hv no issue with spirit. I know is not about ping but not sure if this helps.. keep an eye on existing spirit and the surrounding statue esp when it turn colour that’s when the next spirit spawn. I always ping when the next spirit spawn as to help everyone to be aware of it. Not sure if this helps.
I find kc is easy like gorse. And every week I did kc with pug.. we never really hv issue

Hi all. I’m like many others very anxious to see the legendary armour for light and medium.
Good job with the heavy I think it’s really cool.
Since anet currently working on light and medium, I thought if more people giving ideas before it’s finalise it might help. If you are a fashion designer pls put your design forward titled “look for light/medium legendary armour ” also how it works in term of look for combat mode and none combat mode.
I saw a post somewhere floating clouds on caster’s body as part of the armour would be cool?

Actually it will be nice to hv an option for players to place item that others can see so ppl cant fake chat code. Sort of like a trade view window or slot

Lots of other improvement and game development the team should focus. This is good idea but should be less prioritise :p I prefer anet work on new content or speeding up the release of leg armour

I join training group to help.. Many of them going no where. A steady roaster is needed to HV proper train. So yeh either make a guild yourself/ find yourself 10 players with same playtime same interest and don’t “sux” ..that don’t sux is hard to find actually.

:P when raid first started. I was running ele burn build for vg. not the best compare to other condi prof for individual dps, but the support plus fire field were great. I have to try again if I have a chance

If Anet does consider an easy mode RAIDS changes below probably wont hurt much
1) Remove enrage time
2) Dead can be res with res orb or by players.
3) Drop & reward: Li and special drop disabled upon killing boss, shards increase minimally (encourage exp raid players to join). Also perhaps a new item drop upon boss kill that can be accumulated and exchanged for Li with raid merchant (say 10 x for 1 Li).

He probably think its no longer need a discussion for this hence remove post. Nothing wrong. Admin probably should remove this thread completely too.

If you only hv1 druid the druid should go alone in group. I am confident to solo heal druid actually more fun
But yeah can take two druids plus the condi ranger for certain boss I suppose

My husband and I rarely do wvwvw. But we do occasionally for dailies and monthly back in the days when they were monthlies. My husband was lucky enough to unlock light and medium armour set from wvwvw rank up rewards.

It’s not always nice and easy and I wouldn’t even bother to think more about those who kicked :p probably better you don’t play with them..
You can form yourself team too gradually you might find yourself a steady roaster team. Not going to be easy tho be leading a raid team. Other way is join a raid guild.. you might be able to find ppl of same interest and is on the same boat as you.

I’m happy to help out if time is right in EU server. I play healer druid, tempest and necro. My playtime is 9am to 1pm server time.

Last night in pug was pretty funny bcos we spent omg 2hours in xera. We hv nice QT guy to stay even the team doesn’t hv the pro qt DPs – rupper is his nick I think. Give him applause for being patience with pugs! When we killed xera.. I screamed man.. probably scare those gentlemen in ts. Last week xera was one shot with German pugs. This week 2hours. But everyone was nice to each others last night and respectful. Ofc its not always like that .. I just given you an example

Even with premade team in my early days of raid. It took 1hr plus and minus to get everyone fully gathered. And we used to wipe over wipe over wipe for 3to 5hours. Just for vg and gorse… for months and months.. when wing 2 came out.. I missed it bcos I was still playing with our premade team. until when w3 came I decided to pug. in our premade team…our PS hv toughness over 1100 even after a nice talk to him in various occasion. Our ele doing under 20k DPs… People thinking needs to change for raids. It’s not dungeon run. It’s not fractal run. It’s raids.. a different mode in game.

I only pug now after our premade team not working out due to many reasons. Stressful to pug? yes and no. I find it faster to pug than trying to get a team to play. If I put enough effort probably can find a steady team but too much commitment and effort. Pug solve it for me although sometime sux a bit but not bad all the time.
In pug. I see ppl getting kick out after a few tries. Cruel yes but if he doesn’t go, the good ppl will leave. He managed to get into team but his play style and team effort will show when the game start. welcome to pug.

Two group composition.

:o my hub and me raids with 400ping. Our play time is awkward. We sleep when most players are doing their raids. Don’t get to play at the normal hours . We still manage to get in..although it was very hard..but we got ourselves in. Currently at 220+li. We been through many many many many wipes and tears. We pugs. And the hard way we do it bcos we want to do it. I do not think there’s any other easier way not unless anet makes raids with diff mode.

If u wanna be healer go with magi set. If you wanna do condi, go viper. Both are good investment atm. I hv been on magi since two updates ago when anet nerf ele ’s wash the pain

If I knew the achieves had a time limit I would have done them on the first week but I didn’t know that …
I was chilling coz I thought I had unlimited time to do those achieves so I didn’t rush to do them.

Did anet inform we only have 2 months to do them???
If they did I missed it coz I don’t usually come to the forums.
Why remove the achieves in the first place?

The achievements were indicated as limited time (Until end of what was then the next season) in the patch notes and all release material concerning the map.

I must have missed this in the patch notes. which patch notes was it in? not the recent one ?

ahhh.. lots of farming grinning in the next two weeks If I know this achievement going to be removed I would have done something before so we are not under pressure now. was there any warning prior to this that it will be removed?
