For a good reason. If they hire 1 person to help mac users, they would have hired more people than players who actually play on Mac.

I never said that one was a solo, it was a duo.
But yeh, i was experimenting with the new fresh air trait so i didn’t choose damage traits. Also i suck at playing ele, a perfect ele solo would probably be fastest possible if you don’t count in mesmers with insane RNG.

Because people say that elementalist is fine that way. I’m assuming that a guy who has the skill to solo it with a warrior could do it with an elementalist as well.

To the other guys who say that FGS does more damage: Yes, it does. But it has 15 charges (30 or 50 with the trait and the double sword) and a 180 seconds cooldown.

It is really easy. I’m not joking. There are like 4 mobs spawning and 1 veteran. That was the hardest part.
Once you get all your achievements there, you have no more business in, so you can destroy them I guess.

You don’t need a group for this dungeon. It’s incredibly easy. I think you can destroy the items now that you have the achievement.

I completed the event once today and I got the rares and the chests. This was my reward for completing it again. Of course failing it gives me a normal reward. So why complete the event again?

So we just finished the event. We killed Scarlet and I got 1 shoulder scrap from the event reward. Why did I get 1 shoulder scrap? Is this some kind of a mocking attempt? I’ve spend 40 minutes of this boring event to get 1 scrap? I’d much prefer to receive a letter insulting my family than this stupid scrap.

There is a Champion of the Heavy Hammer in Dredgehaunt Cliffs (Whiteside Ridge) that keeps getting out of combat every time he stops spinning, thus regenerating all his health.
He is also blocking the entrance of the nearby balloon.

Clovers are fine. 600 gold for a precursor is not.

I like how everyone says that ele’s are fine and shows pvp stuff. Great! We have a good mobility! How does that help me against a boss in a dungeon?

I think it’s pretty ridiculous to balance pvp and pve simultaneously.

The mystic forge is the biggest gold sink in the history of mmo’s.

I am using lightning hammer build with staff now. My gear is full berserker and I use 100 precision and 10% crit damage food.

I start on earth attunement and use 2-nd skill then the reflect shield. When he gets to me I conjure my lightning hammer and swap to water attunement. I start doing some insane damage (6k crit max (that’s one auto attack on a warrior/guardian/thief)). If I mess something up I die. If I don’t mess something but get unlucky (little crits, him porting somewhere else) I die. It takes around 6 times more time than a guardian with 2 times more active gambits.

This class is a joke.

Whatever way you look at it, a creature that can live in lava shouldn’t be able to be burnt. Same as a rock shouldn’t bleed, and an Ice Elemental shouldn’t be Chilled.

These sorts of things make players think of different approaches to how they fight enemies.

Too bad nothing is immune to sword. This is done only to handicap already inferior classes.

They should nerf it by reviving you every time you fail.

That’s the thing, Kiel doesn’t really have any motivations to join the Council. Magnus pretty much told her to and served the position up to her on a silver platter. It’s my opinion that she’ll be little more than a puppet for Magnus if she actually wins. I would much rather Evon take the seat since he would have a greater degree of autonomy than Ellen does, and it would balance the council’s racial profile a bit better. Currently the council is made up of three Humans, two Asura, one Norn and one Charr.

It should be made up of humans. Lion’s arch is in human territory.

of course! Thaumanova would have completely new lore and Anet would get the feedback that their latest storytelling is fine (judging from Aetherblades and Southsun Cove it’s really not epic). GW1’s storytelling is epic… that’s what I vote for.

It is! And I bet it’s connected to the story achievements. I wish they hid the achievements descriptions.

So why people keep saying “You only need 10 out of 14 achievements” when you actually need 10 out of 12. Not really a big choice on what achievements not to do.

I don’t blame them. You cannot force people to play something they don’t like. Change the achievements to not count towards the wings progress and everything will be fine.

Edit: I just saw that they don’t count, so a little info would have been nice.

This game was obviously designed by their game currency economy guy. Its sole purpose is as a gold sink. As I was walking up I was sure that (obviously) it must be betting some form of event token or candy or something… Imagine my shock when I saw 50s… Still miffed about the whole thing.

When the guy who enters the dungeon leaves, the dungeon kicks everyone. Why is this not fixed? There are idiots out there that camp the final chest and disband the party. It is really annoying in arah and I’ve been a victim to this 3 times now.
