Well, game got patched today, and it did not get fixed.

Guess they really completely forgot about it after discarding the changes…
Sad that it was fixed, then they broke it again.
Means it can be fixed but probably wont be fixed.
Hopefully they will fix it when it’s ready!(not buying any gems until they do ).

I was just wondering if you had an update for us on how far this issue is being processed by you guys

It is either
1. They already did it but are waiting for patch day to put it in.
2. They completely forgot about it as new bugs came out with new content.

They aren’t going to patch the game just for this, as new builds require everyone to log off(interruption of the game). Forcing everyone to log off just to add a few particle effects is not good.

However, i hope we get a response(and a positive one saying it will be fixed in next patch) as this one seems to be a really easy fix.
They just have to take the new weapons they made(but reverted) and add the particle effects to each weapon even while sheathed.

Infused Capacitor =/= Glowy Capacitor

Infused Capacitor + 250 ectos + 500 fractal relics = Beta Capacitor
Beta Capacitor + 250 ectos + 500 fractal relics = Glowy Capacitor

The daily thing started on 15Nov and keeps going.

It was “you have a random chance of getting a random Ascended Ring that cannot be bought/obtained otherwise once per day by running FotM10”.

People started complaining that the rings were too difficult to get, obviously with this amount of restriction No selling, No mailing, Once per day, A chance at it, A random ring, FotM10. (This amount of restrictions still applies to Fractal Weapons).

Once that got out of fashion, they changed it to you get an Ascended Ring of your choice after 10 days worth of FotM10. (x2 for 2 rings)

The next month after that? Introducing Laurels!, you can only get 1 Laurel per day(and 10 for Monthly) and you need 1 month worth of Laurels to get an Ascended Amulet.

But compared to that, 10 days of FotM10 x2(2 rings) was not enough grind. 20 days worth of Laurels was not enough grind either. This time, introduce 40 Laurels! and throw in 50 ectos too while you are at it. This will take 30 days worth of Laurels + 10 from Monthly, x2 for the Ascended Accessories. Or 6 weeks worth of guild missions.

Wait, did i forget to mention per character?

Basically, Arenanet’s philosophy changed on 15Nov, you can only play the game a little per day to obtain anything significant. Instead of Carrots and Sticks tactics, where if you worked hard you could end up with multiple Carrots instead, they just decided to feed you 1(and only 1)easy Carrot per day, no matter how much effort you put in.
(Hint: Do not waste your time making the rabbit run around chasing the carrot on the stick. Put the rabbit in a cage and just feed it one carrot per day)

Take a look further at the game.
Dungeon runs? each path once per day or DR kicks in
Group Event Chests? nerfed with new patch to be once per day
Laurels? daily once per day
Chance at Ascended Ring/Fractal Weapon? each tier(10 levels) once per day
Pristine Fractal Relic? once per day

What to Expect:
Increased drop rate of T6 materials but each T6 crafting material(such as Powerful Blood) will now only drop once per day. (You get one easier, but only one)
Guaranteed ecto when you salvage your first rare/exotic item once per day. You will only get 1-3 ecto per day when salvaging rares.

(Note: trend is getting worse, starting to become once per week for Guild Missions)

Soon to come:
Once per month, a piece of Ascended Armor
Once per year, a Legendary

As for Foefire weapons, please keep the new effect when unsheathing (the burst of blue flame)! I also really appreciated how you guys fixed the chain on Foefire’s Essence so that it’s in the proper spot now and not too large.

After the new patch, Foefire’s Essence chain broke again

And it is now “Pale” again. Did they just revert the changes?

Please, it was fixed, why did it have to break again?

And now it is also broken in Preview Panel…

Thank you Arenanet, for making the game better and better with every patch(true though some things do end up getting worse than better, but overall it is improvement).

My very special thanks to Jason King for fixing my Foefire’s Essence chain. You sir, rock like a Champion Earth Elemental
This proved to me that Arenanet even fixes tiny little details that one or two players requested, which means they really care for their community.

Replayable story? Good idea.
Actually replaying the story? Bad idea(Trahearne!!!!!)

I would like it so we can make changes to the paths we took through the Personal Story by playing the other parts(instead of actually having to make a whole new character to view that part), but i also want to skip every single part of the story that involves Trahearne. So allow us to replay “parts” of the story, or at least make Trahearne die.

Will open world PVP servers be considered?

in PvP

Turtle Dragon.9241

Well, I miss world pvp badly, lovely ganking and griefing, what can be better?

And that’s exactly the reason it will never, ever, be implemented.

Having guesting available, you are not required to go to an Open PvP server, so why can’t this be considered?

I seriously do not understand why a lot of players HATE the idea of dueling or open PvP, and don’t compare WvW to Open PvP because they are NOT the same.

I -STILL- don’t see why WvW isn’t open world PVP.

It’s basically flagging yourself in an open PVE world. Complete with “PVP Dungeons,” Bosses, Skill Points, Gathering Nodes, Crafting, ect. The ONLY difference between WvW and a “real” open world PVP is that everyone is about the same stat wise.

Stop complaining and que for WvW.

Remove Arrow Carts, Cannons, Ballistas, Trebuchets etc from WvW
Also, make it so we can bash doors/walls down with our Swords/Hammers or even Staves.
Then you’ll see the difference between Open World PvP and WvW.

Basically, if you dont have siege in WvW, even if you have a group of 100 people, you are not so much as taking down a tower(or it will take you a long long long long long time before you bash that door down with your swords instead of using rams).
Thus a solo player without siege is not doing “much”.

Open World PvP would be maybe similar to WvW without Siege and “easy to break” doors. Admittedly still having towers/keeps as “safe spots” for your teams that the enemy would need to break(by hitting it, not using “Toys”) to get to you.

1. Remove those broken Toys.
2. Make Towers/Keeps reasonably breakable by regular weapons
3. Points scored per kill, not by ownership of structures in the map
4. No armor repairs
5. Display enemy names

Note: I like the game the way it is, I like WvW the way it is too, I dont really care if there is or there isnt Open World PvP in this game, im just stating why you cant really “open world pvp” in WvW, the difference being “Toys” and questionable usefulness of killing players instead of capping, as well as not knowing who you just owned/who just owned you.

PS: I love Arrow Carts, Ballistas and Cannons.

Fractal of the Mist Exploit

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: Turtle Dragon.9241

Turtle Dragon.9241

exploits@arena.net is not working, so i will post this here

Exploit can only be done by at least 2 players(usually of the same guild) who join the same group in Fractal of the Mist Dungeon.

Exploiters form a group of 5 players, get the Fractal all the way to the Jade Maw(or to the end of the last fractal). Then one of the exploiters initiates a kick on the other players and have the second exploiter agree to kick the other players one by one.
Now that they are on a 2 player team, they invite(usually people from their guild) to the team.

The game considers all 5 people(even the 3 who just entered only to grab the reward) as party members, they all get their Personal Reward Level increased by 1, they all get the Daily chest(if applicable), and the final chest.

The people who actually did the fractal get “nothing”, considering they did all the effort to get the party there.

People are now using this method to get their guildies “easy level ups” in fractals.

1. Sunrise or Twilight do NOT count as Legendary, did you expect this?
Time spent on getting a Legendary that is not Legendary

So you’re upset that you missed out of a few Achievement Points and a virtual gold star? Sunrise and Twilight are now somehow devalued because teacher didn’t give you a smiley face sticker on your report card? You guys NEVER cease to amaze me.

Edit: There is NOTHING casual about playing a game, any game, six to eight hours a week. And with that much time spent doing ANYTHING, you’re bound to burn out and lose interest sooner than later.

I am not upset about it, but it comes out as a really bad surprise when you discover that it happens after you spent all this time making a Legendary.

The very moment i login, there is already 1 blatant bug right in my face, and that keeps reminding me of the sheer amount of known bugs that i am going to encounter if i decide to play, among the new bugs that i am about to discover.

Then i am just going to report the bugs, add them to my list of known bugs, and the next time i login, i will be reminded that there are even more known bugs.

Discovering the game is fun, discovering bugs is not, whether they affect you positively(harr harr banhammer snowflake exploiters) or negatively(incomplete completed world map).

A usual day in GW2:
1. Wanna work on your Twilight today? No, it does not give the Legendary achievement.
2. Wanna WvW today? No, too many invisible players.
3. Wanna do map completion today? No, that skill point is still bugged.
4. Wanna run AC? No, Detha/Hodgins are going to bug in our faces again.
5. Wanna run Fractals? No, cliffside is going to bug again.
6. Wanna go farm Temples in Orr? No, Grenth temple is broken again.
7. Wanna do daily then? No, the progression bar is bugged(check game bugs section)
8. Fine then, let’s go RP on Tarnished Coast.

More than 50% of events aren’t bugged, unless your server sucks a whole lot more badly than mine. MAYBE 10% are bugged. Exaggerating doesn’t make you righter.

Part of the problems with forums everywhere is people use hyperbole and exaggerate to make their points and this makes their entire argument circumspect.

Sure there are bugged events, but in no zone are half the events bugged, though in Orr at launch it might have been close.

The problem is you haven’t sat there and counted every zone event and then counted the broken ones.

There are dozens of events in each zone. I doubt more than a dozen of them are broken at any time. In fact, I doubt more than 2 or 3 are broken at any time.

Complaining about something legitimate is fair game. Exaggerating the situation, however, makes people question everything else you’re saying.

I would argue that some of the events are only bugged 50% of the time. Take example: Final chamber Detha AC Explorable, bugs if Detha teleports directly into the event circle, does not bug if you make sure Detha walks slowly into it. You might not notice the bug unless you ran AC path2 for the 40th time, but the bug still exists whether everyone encounters it everyday or just one person encounters it once every month.

Hence that event is considered bugged by some, but not by others. Technically speaking, even if it bugs 1 in 1 million times, it is still a bugged event.

I do agree that Exaggerating doesn’t make you righter though.

. . . or care to reward you for actually getting Sunrise. When people feel ignored, they move away.

Wouldn’t the reward for getting Sunrise be actually having Sunrise? The achievements don’t matter since nobody else can see them anyway. Except for the small handful which bestow titles, but most people are running around with Hall of Monuments titles that I see.

Well, maybe that one was just a lesser example. Take this one instead then:
Whenever i open my map and i see that my complete world map still says incomplete, how do you think i feel?
Whenever i open my hero panel and look at Foefire’s Essence, then close it and see the actual weapon on my character’s back, how do you think i feel?
When i see my cultural armor clipping on my character every time i move forward, how do you think i feel?
Whenever i order something on the TP and my money just vanishes, or before actually ordering something i have to keep saying “please dont vanish” over and over in my head to convince myself to actually order something, how do you think i feel?

It is true, these are MINOR bugs, very minor, very annoying bugs. However, even little details count towards your gaming (bad) experience. When you spent 900 hours over something that just vanishes in thin air(see hundreds of threads about the “science of 1500 rares for a precursor thread with no precursor obtained” out there, whether it lost/bugged/broken because of a bug or RNG, you did spend the time, but it is now time to give up.

-snip-

why put so many hours into a game that is allegedly so bug-ridden that you’re driven to quit? That doesn’t make any sense to me. I have no shortage of GW2 criticisms and still encounter things that I wish would change, but the game has improved significantly since release.

-snip-

I’ll give you a very very simple example of a bug that will make you rage quit a game after you have invested hundreds of hours in it.

Note: this bug does not really exist, we are just using an example.

So, you spent the last 900 hours collecting all the materials necessary to actually craft you Legendary Twilight. You expect to get Twilight out of it. Hey there! Bugged recipe! After you put in your 4 components (Dusk, Gift of Twilight, Gift of Fortune, Gift of Mastery) which took 900hours+ to actually craft, somehow due to a bug, it gives out a random exotic pauldron.

You put in many hours, you did not expect to quit. You are not going to do it all over again though(hahaha it is gonna bug again if you do, very funny!). You are angry and frustrated, you quit. Given this is not a true bug, but you would quit in this situation, because you did not get what you worked oh so hard for.

Want real bugs that cause people to quit after hundreds of invested hours?
1. Sunrise or Twilight do NOT count as Legendary, did you expect this?
Time spent on getting a Legendary that is not Legendary
2. Look at a Foefire’s Essence in preview and one equipped, clearly not what you previewed?(hint: go to graphic/art bug section sticky thread for picture)
Time spent on getting an expensive weapon that is not what you previewed
3. Expensive armors clipping on your character so badly, but did not clip in preview panel. See also bugged recipe/armor boxes that give you something else.
Time spent on getting an expensive armor that is not what you previewed
4. World Map completion that does not completely complete.
Time spent on getting an achievement/2 Gift of Exploration that did not completely achieve
5. Trading Post vanishing items that were never bought and never sold.
Time spent on buying/selling items that you never receive and your money/item vanishes in thin air

Now, i will bet you that some of these bugs are rare, and most of us never even encountered it, or already knew we would encounter it and accepted to live with it.

However, when you do unfortunately encounter it, bad surprises when you did not expect to encounter such a bug = bad experience for the player = the player requesting the bug gets fixed but gets ignored = frustrated player calling developers incompetent(we are not saying such a thing in this thread) = quitting player for greener grass elsewhere.

Just remember the negative effect it has on you. You own a Sunrise, every time you log in, you see that the Legendary Achievement is still off. Every time you log in, it reminds you of how bug ridden this game is. Over-time, you keep seeing it, you say to yourself that the devs dont care about their game, or care to reward you for actually getting Sunrise. When people feel ignored, they move away.

He was going up and down the cliff, had shadowsteps too(so stuff like line of warding or other aoe wouldnt work), because he goes up and down it would be difficult to get him with binding blade too(has 600 range including verticals).

He was not hitting/killing anyone much, just going invisible and trolling the whole group.

Then you move away from the cliff. I dunno, seems obvious to me.

If he wasn’t doing much, just going invisible and trolling…………..why did you even give him a second thought?

Because he will stay there and attempt to kill anyone that is “alone and passing by”?. He wasn’t doing much against a group of players other than trolling them, but if you were alone, that’s a completely different matter. It was very clear that the thief won this fight, he wanted to stay at that spot(to prey on solo players) and got what he wanted.

Could none of them AOE? Whenever I even THINK a thief is headed my way, if I have any AOE at all I drop it right on myself.

Though damage really should break stealth… I’ve had a few times were I got direct hits on a thief and it didn’t break his stealth at all.

There are multiple ways to deal with thieves as mentioned by yourself and others above.
Question is not whether there is a way to deal with it, question is “does anyone actually LIKE fighting stealthed opponents?”.

If something is in the game, and it causes more grief than fun, it should be reconsidered. That’s Arenanet’s speciality to ask “Is it fun? Do you like it?”.

You want to know how to kill an invisi-thief? I’ll give you the grand tactic.

Use a guardian with a great sword.

When the thief goes invis, utilize binding blades. It will track them invisibly. Have your 9 person group stack on the guardian.

Then the guardian pulls the invisible thief to them and EVERYONE unloads on that spot.

Dead thief.

You are welcome.

9 people to kill 1 thief.

Volkon’s pretty much got it. Stealth isn’t the problem here.

If there is indeed a rendering issue, shouldnt they simply adjust stealth mechanic for now?

Example:
Given that a thief gets 5 seconds stealth and then will take 3 seconds to render(he gets 8 seconds total where we do not see him), they should just move the stealth skill to give 2 seconds stealth and the thief will be invisible for a total of 5 seconds.

I know it is not “that” simple, but i think reducing some stealth durations for now until the problem is fixed(if it is ever fixed) is a good temporary solution.

This topic is not about culling. This topic is about Stealth.

I just saw a thief troll 8 enemy players up and down a small cliff near the left tower of borderlands, by going invisible each time, for a whole hour. The thief could not be killed, targeted, or hit. Given the width of the cliff, it is impossible to predict where that thief was exactly, and even if you did, you would probably land 1 hit(which he would overheal while being invisible). There was no culling, there were only 9 players at that spot(not large group).

Does anyone here actually like to fight Invisible players?
They can just run away when you are close to winning, then come back once they heal up and keep harassing you. How many counters do you have against invisibility? You cant even tell if you are hitting them or not, you cant tell where they are unless you immobilized them right before they turn invisible(or downed them).

Should Stealth mechanic get changed?
Maybe instead of making them completely invisible, make them visible but just untargetable. Inability to target someone is already a HUGE advantage, you are immune to leaps(you cannot leap at target) and projectiles do no fly “directly” to you(you cannot shoot the target).
Or introduce 2 mechanics, one being untargetable, one being stealth, and stealth being reserved for Elite skills only.

Arenanet clearly does not like staff.

There are like 4+ of each Mystic Forge recipes for gs, sword, axe, scepter, focus, etc. There is only 2 staff MF recipes(Melandru’s ugly eye and The Crossing-‘just for necro’ staff). Heck, there are even 2 “of the mist” spears, but not a single staff or rifle of the mist.

We could use a few neon bars as staff.

On the left = What i bought
On the right = What i got

1. The chain is off. The preview panel has the chain right. Chain should be straight under the hilt’s ring.
Note: Spirit Weapons(Sword/Hammer) also have the chain off too.
2. The weapon is way too transparent compared to the preview panel.

2 months of gathering enough resources to craft it, and i end up with “something different”. I wanted to buy what i previewed.

Buyer beware.

Edit. When viewing the character from the front, the chain is seems to be moving “with the camera”. The chain seems to always be “offset to the left” by a little. I’m guessing moving the coordinate of the chain compared to the camera should fix this issue?

Turtle Dragon.9241

Oh please don’t even…

Then why did they add ascended gear and now faundrls?

Like i already explained. As hardcore you might be, you are not getting your ascended ring in less than 10 days. As casual as you might be, you are still getting your ascended ring in 10 days. (or the daily equivalent of getting laurels instead of pristine relics).

Thus Ascended gear does not directly relate to hardcore players.

Ascended gear is new content, admittedly really badly introduced. At first there was NO SURE WAY of getting them(random chance of arandom ring drop from a chest that spawns in FotM10 that you can only equip one of and cannot be traded/given/sold), but they changed that.

I hate ascended gear as much as you do, I would have rather they stuck to Exotics being maxed and skins being the only thing that differentiated long time players.

I dont see(as i gave the example above) how ascended gear(at least for rings, not backpacks) is more easily acquired by hardcore players though, though clearly it is hardcore players that desire the items the most.

I don't like the new dailies

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Turtle Dragon.9241

Turtle Dragon.9241

I strongly disagree.

First, Arenanet does not like Hardcore players, they put Diminishing Returns in place to stop hardcore farming.

Arenanet does seem to favor Casual players. The fact that they make everything “Daily” proves that. That way you log in “a little” everyday to do part of something you want, and get rewards slowly. You can only get 1 Pristine Fractal Relic per day, 1 Laurel per day, 60 per dungeon path once per day(otherwise 20 tokens for re-do), etc etc.

So if you are Casual and in 1 evening you do 1 Fractal run, you will get your ring in 10 days. Even if you are Hardcore and you do 10 Fractal runs in 1 evening, it will still take you 10 days to get your ring.

Last, Arenanet does not favor Impatient players. Everything about this game is about playing a little of everything per day and building what you want to have over-time. This whole game was made based on “waiting”. You waited 5 years for this game to come out.

Arenanet’s philosophy, also known as “When it’s ready” applied to the game’s release, the patches, or even your gears/cool items you get. Even their events are not instant, you have to “wait” for the events/chain to start.
Your Ascended Ring will be ready in 10 days(provided you play a Fractal per day).

Now dont say there isn’t enough stuff to do because of “once per day” things. You can do 1 Fractal, 1 time of each path of a dungeon, 1 daily, 1 time each OrichalcumOre/AncientWood mining(24hour respawn nodes). That’s enough stuff for 1 evening.

This is a clever way to keep players. Otherwise, you would hardcore farm quests/raids/dungeons/materials and get what you want instantly, and then leave the game because “there’s nothing else to do”, probably move to another game, and “chances” are you will get too busy with it to come back. While you are still playing the game a little every day, they introduce new items/events etc once a while to keep you entertained and stay. Is this better than WoW “grind like crazy with no life all day long forever for my gears and repeat it when new expansion comes out”?

Play a little GW2 per day and the WoW addiction goes away.

They even pay attention to even little details that players ask. Triforge amulet is just 1 item, by popular demand of those who have it(a thread with 30 posts only yes!), it can now be promoted to ascended. And those who have it are rewarded by being practically the only ones with an ascended amulet right now(i doubt anyone has enough daily laurels to buy an ascended amulet yet during the past 3 days eh?), this is a waiting game afterall.

Another philosophy i strongly suggest Arenanet to adopt though is
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

tl;dr When It’s Ready!

250 ecto
250 passion flowers
250 karka shells
250 armored scales

Note: The above is a parody.

You know, if you’re going to lie, at least do it right. This recipe doesnt even include the Triforge Pendant(Exotic).

You could try something more like this:

1 Triforge Pendant Exotic
1 Bloodstone Shard
1 Gift of Lightning
250 Passion Flowers

Okay, I have to ask: where is this combat log? This is the second time I’ve heard someone refer to it and I have no idea how to access it.

In your chat(channel Tab Option). Check the Combat box for Combat Log.

What's ANet's policy on hacked accounts?

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: Turtle Dragon.9241

Turtle Dragon.9241

They don’t restore items, chars etc. As for the credit card…depends on where the security breach happened. Hint: It wasn’t ANet’s fault. Do a full scan on your PC and abandon the e-mail account.

They do. Proof below.

This is their policy. Hope you get your stuff back.

Guardian: Leap of Faith

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Turtle Dragon.9241

When using Leap of Faith on any object(yellow named item) such as enemy Gate in WvW or Burrow in Ascalonian Catacombs, the character always falls short from the target and misses.

Example:
Leap of Faith has 600 range. If you use Leap of Faith while targetting an enemy Gate in WvW from 400 range, you still leap on the spot and miss the Gate completely.

I got another 250 Mystical Cogs from the gift, that means 3 minis. Again, Devs lied, they said we would have enough for only 2 minis.

Just letting you all know, Them lying is not always bad for us. Anyone angry that they’ve been lied too again? Certainly not me.

The mini is still not free given that you get 5 times either 250 Wads or Glues, So you need to buy 250 Wads/Glues(whichever one missing). Prices of Wads and Glues have gone up really a lot.

Thank you Arenanet, and happy wintersday.

200 Cogs?

I have 200 Cogs left(just got from Tixx chest). I’m 100% sure I am not the only one.

Can Devs please clarify, do you have plans to give us 50 more or should i just throw the Cogs away? Cannot make anything out of 200 Cogs

Thank you.

I dont get this ROLES thing. I honestly dont. When people asked me what my role in the team is, i always told them “I am party member #3 and he is party member #2”. What’s the difference between party member #3 and party member #2? None, but both spots need to be filled to form a team.

Your team having party member #3 is Absolutely Vital for the team to succeed. Your team having a Tank/DPS/Healer/Control/Support or whatever you call it is NOT essential.

Math
Given that party member #1 to #5 are Awsome, you get
Awsome member + Awsome member + Awsome member + Awsome member + Awsome member = Awsome team.
What the team consists of does not matter.
Proof? Take 5 Warriors team, run a dungeon. If you tell me you cant, then you are not Awsome and thus does not apply. Makes sense?

You want a role? You could be Party member #3, it is a valid role. You could be Guardian#2 on the team, it is also a valid role. You could even be “person who carries 10 supplies and will build the Flame Ram in WvW” and it is still a valid essential role.

Versatility vs Pigeonhole
Amazing Party member #3 > Dead Glass Cannon DPS.
I dont need a dead dps dude who will die in 1 hit after we res him. I do need party member #3 alive though.

Scroo the Roles, I am invisible and have pink hair at the same time.

Most played class in Gw2

The most played class in GW2 is Ranger with Juvenile Brown Bear. You know you’ve seen more of these around the maps than any other classes, admit it.

Turtle Dragon.9241

The event will be back next year and you can make 2 more. It is an easy way to recycle material. GW2 Devs put a lot of effort into making this event, it is easier to re-use it for the next 2 years(so everyone can get all 5 minis) and even add more minis to it as rewards than make a whole new event for every wintersday. that being said, they will have both tixx AND introduce some new event/reward every year’s wintersday.

Patch Notes up

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Turtle Dragon.9241

Turtle Dragon.9241

They fixed a lot of things, they changed a ton of things, they added even more things, but most importantly of ALL: they did not break anything!

(so far nothing reported that stupid as the inability-to-jump-fiasco of last build crossing_my_fingers)

I find this patch great so far, and I admit it!
Arenanet is starting to go the right way, and I like it.
Among the things that Arenanet did wrong, but is fixing

1. You cannot introduce something with so much restriction: The only way of obtaining Ascended gear was “MUST be FotM 10+(even#), ONCE per day, Account Bound(untradable) and RNG on top of that”. Thus cannot be bought, sold, obtained by working hard, and must grind hard for a chance at it…
Fixed by introducing obtainable rings by tokens

2. People dont like discarding their gears. Discarding my Soulbound(untradable) Exotic items that i worked hard for to make way for Ascended gear did not appeal to anyone at all. Taking an Exotic item that i already have and upgrading it into Ascended, that will make everyone feel like moving the next step rather than scrapping everything you did and restarting from scratch.
Starting to get on the right path, they are making a way to upgrade Ascended Rings into their Ascended(infused) version. Rather than searching for the same ring’s ascended version, just upgrade it. The right idea is here, with a bit of hope Arenanet will make items such as Mjolnir and Triforge Pendant upgradable to an Ascended version via Mystic Forge recipes.

Is Shelter bugged?

in Guardian

Posted by: Turtle Dragon.9241

Turtle Dragon.9241

It would appear that this only happens if the skill is interrupted while casting, the skill will go on full 30 second cool down without healing me. Also I was under the impression that nothing could hit you (and thus nothing could interrupt you) while you were using Shelter but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Guardian Greatsword #5. If it hits you, then you Shelter, and I use the pull effect during your 2s block, you are interrupted and you dont get healed. (among other skills that can also do similar effect)

No matter what Arenanet says, no matter what statistics they present to us, we all know the truth. The most played profession in the entire game is Ranger. The most used pet is Juvenile Brown Bear. The most chosen character alignment is Order of Whispers.
