Karma can get you atleast half of the way to 400 sometimes.

Save up karma jugs and vials and drink them on the low level hero. Works nice!

Current game state with all the issues with gear, legendaries, DR, nerfing anything worth while and all the bugs. NO WAY! Would be my answer.

If everything was fixed and running smoothly and massive content were ti be released constantly, then yes I would 100%.

Bottom line is the game has way to many issues to go that route.

Today I was about to gear up my thief using dungeon tokens I had been farming for some time. Well I must have been distracted because I bought the entire stat set that I wanted but in the wrong type. Heavy instead of medium.

There needs to be some sort of sell back option if you make this error. Simple way to stop abuse is if you put a different upgrade or wear the armor you cannot sell back.

Even trade token for token. I know its not a huge issue and im not the first to do it, but for those of us who have done it know it really, realy sucks. Especially with PVT gear only obtainable with tokens or badges.

Its intentional and working as intended.

Its exactly what you thougbt it was. To stop bots or people from flooding. Although all it really doea is kitten off the everyday trader or farmer who has his bags full.

I would love this to go away and honestly I dont understand the reasoning for it in the first place.

If people want to flood they will flood. If they want to bot, they will bot. It just hurts the players.

Unless you are in dire need of the gold do ni t remove it. It will sell just consider it a long term investment.

Anet announces bot bans incoming. Anyone with 2 cents buys an kitten of t5 and t6 mats.

Bots get banned, mats reach an all time high. No end to the price increase in sight, people hold.

Patch incoming. No one believes the MF issue will be fixed but its a patch reguardles and thats when big time changes happen. Speculators get spooked and everyone follows suit and dumps masses of mats they have been holding.

Mats will decline in price. But never reach the lows they were at before. If and when Anet announce the scavenger hunt, mats will spike to new all time highs unless the drop rate is compensated for the mass amount of people who will believe a legendary is now within thier grasp.

Dont gage the player base by how many people are standing around in LA. The only reason LA hsd overflow after overflow is because of FoTM. Which isnt really that popular anymore.

Id say the player base is growing slightly. I will agree Anet needs to work on keeping people around longer and not by means of constant new content.

Human Female Warrior who I love the most. Commander tag and Twilight. Hands down my main except for when I comes to Mf because I believe she is WI Flagged.

Asuran Male Guardian for pve/dungeons.

Norn Female Thief for wvw only. God I love the thief.

Next class will probably be an ele because I cannot seem to take down eles with mt warrior or thief. Bad ones yes but the skilled ones give me trouble.

If you’re s gambler start tossing stuff listed above in the forge.

If you’re conservative start saving gold and selling everything else.

While doing this run dungeon paths and hit the dragon chests.

Hey OP, someone has been under cutting you a ton and yoi have finally posted your frustrations.

Why being a day trader sucks.

Problem is rewards like the guy above stated.

When you hit 80 you’re focused on end game gear and content. And with most players you would like to make a legendary. There is nothing for you to gain in low level zones.

It does suck because some low level content is fun. But if you want to be rewarded for the time spent playing, its not the place for you.

It is very, very easy to overloom POIs because of how small the are. Unfortunately there is no way of telling exactly what map its needed on.

My best advice is to start with WvW since you need 2 things there. Skim all of EB. Supply camps and the castle. Same thing on the boarderland maps.

Only thing you can do is look sperately at every map.

WvW ones must be better.

I get exos fairly often from them. Along with siege and badges. Its a good deal.

Best remedy for this is to wait for resets. Your home BL will change as well as your area in EB.

Unless you need map completion immediately for a legendary dont sweat it. I know the star is nice but its not worth getting upset over.

Hopefully Anet can change some things to guarantee map movement every reset.

First you farm. Then you play the TP. Then you farm some more. Maybe hit the TP again. Then after that, well hell, ya just keep farming.

Throw in some dungeon runs for extra gold and use the tokens to salvage ectos.

Then farm again. There you have it. The secret reviled.

So I happen to be a fan of John Madden.

With that said, I think it would be a great idea to give commanders the ability to place temporary map markers or directives on the map.

To expand: Lines to depict safe routes for people to use while moving. Planned attack routes. Retreat options. Mini map markers for areas we need eyes on. Yes there is the white line you can draw for parties but this would be better.

Also give people the ability to place markers for commanders to see. Say there is that annoying thief or small group lurking around sup camps. Markers to let commanders know you’re patrolling or near that area. The green marks for players in the immediate area do nothing for us really.

Obviously there are huge holes that need to be worked out here before implementing. You have several commanders on the map it could turn the map screen into a preschool drawing. I can see trolling and abuse. But im sure we can figure out a way to limit this with the new wvw rank/prestige system.

You can equip one achievement title for people to see below your name.

Certain classes are easy to level because if you’re going the open world route, its all about killing.

Do your personal story, it gives massive exp.

You’re best option if you have gold is crafting. You can gain up to 13 levels crafting one profession to 400. On average you get 10-11.

Another great option is dungeons. The mobs give good exp and the rewards for completing a path give you 1 level per path plus gold/karma/tokens.

Make sure you use food and potions, gives you a 20% exp bonus.

The only thing to think about is if you’re big into pvp or you know about wvw, you may want to pick a better wvw server if thats your ultimate goal.

Also high population you can guess more ppl will be doing end game temples in curses shore, etc.

Only thing that really matters is that.

Anet had stated that any activity over an hour in the same general area or events will trigger the DR code. Many other things will set it off as well. Mechanical type movement. Targetting specific mobs and skipping others. I have a friend who got banned but is now back for botting camps in CS, but it was him there everyday taking the same paths for hours over and over.

They want you to move to different maps in all level zones. Why the buffes drop rates and levels in lower level zones.

Some people claim that DR can become a permanent effect on you. I believe I have experienced this several times. As I will go days without getting anything but porous bones and blues. Same with ecto salvaging, streaks of 20+ rares without an ecto.

Guess the guesting question you have will have to be tested out. Seeing as guesting just came out I doubt there is an answer for it.

They are key components in alot more things than triforge. The triforge isn’t even noteworthy here. There are things that I use every day that require T6 dust. I essentially need around 30 T6 dust every day and I don’t have time to farm Orr etc.

Skimming is not your friend when making counterpoints.

Karka event flooded market. Supply is up ajd price is down.

Game has been out for awhile now. Everyone wants a legendary. Hell I can think of 8 people in my guild right now who are grinding everyday for a legendary.

Prices are fair if you breakdown the cost of the other parts.

Great post. Good data. The price of the precursor should be the most expensive part of the equation. Which is mostly supported here.

Its the means of obtaining said expensive precursor that I think most people dislike.

How is a bunker guardian going to register enough damage to get drops off champs? Other toughness and low damage classes will still suffer.

It should be scaled off overall enemy health along with you’re potential damage output.

My guardian can whack a champ 5 times and do the same amount of damage as a good crit on my warrior.

Everyone has been waiting for this new Ascended gear for awhile now.

Its now released. Usually when something is released it is immediately available for use.

This is not the case and I fins it very strange. Dangling amulets in front of everyones face for 3 weeks and having no other way to get it but 1 laurel day by day.

Thats where the problem is. Bad idea in my opinion. New items should be available the day they are released.

First off. If you want to make money in dungeons hiding with an mf set will only slow you down while hardly increasing drops. You grind the gold off bosses and rewards when running dungeons. Therefor Omnom bar is all you need. Good examples are CoF and AC, fast runs will net you big money.

Magic find is very useful for DE’s in Orr. I do find my drop rates are better, I get more T6 mats and when in a group with full MF I get an exotic or 2 a day.

Dungeons = No MF

Farming = Max MF

Warrior. Don’t go full dps. Can’t do good damage while you’re laying on your back.

I think whichever class you use the most and enjoy playing on.

But my vote will go warrior. The skills a guardian uses with a greatsword are anything but flashy. #2 looks horrible with a legendary because the effects of the skill itself are overpowering.

I have no data like you saved but today I made 77 clovers using the x1 recipe.

I was amazed to read this because what happened today is the exact thing listed here. Bursts of 3-4 and the occasional 2 in a row. Never one at a time.

It was odd to say the least. But I was happy boasting a 50%+ turn over. 145 shards for 77 clovers.

Well of course I needed to buy the cute little Quaggan backpack.

And of course I wanted to run around with it so bad that I did not think through my decision.

I have the Fractal Koss on Koss back piece. The regular version with just 5 AR.

Never did it occur to me until now that someday I will need that extra 5 AR from making it infused.

My question is what will happen to the Quaggan backpack skin when I throw it all into the Forge to be upgraded? The obvious answer is it will be removed.
