The OP is one of the reasons I moved on from GW2…Downed just makes no sense in the context of PvP. I ranted about it in the forums during one BWE and, based upon the huge thread of negative opinions about that mechanic, was relatively secure they would remove it before launch…but they don’t seem to like to do things that would make their game better so ./shrug.

I run “Signet of might” “Shake it Off” “For Great Justice” “Banner based on team needs” and "Sigent of Rage or Revive banner& depending on group needs and let me tell you.

I dont die. I put out huge damage. I am the most important person to the team comp. I can take damage. Res downed players instantly. Res without banner. Buff and dps.

I disconnected from the event several times and went thru hell. Some people got a precursor and all kinds if amazing stuff.

They mailed me a chest and I am very thankful. They didnt have to do this and frankly I didnt expect them too.

You got a chest with exotics in the mail. Be happy.

P.S. I got 2 named exotic weapons and 1 exotic breastplate. Aling with the standard slot box and exotic accessory.

Apparently there is a ton of places to farm gold in this game but no one will tell you directly because Anet will nerf it instantly because its not what they want you to do.

You act quickly when you see spikes that can upset the economy? Really? How long was it since the karka event finale? I’m pretty sure it was less than 2 weeks ago. Did you forget what happened there already?

A lot of people randomly got a legendary base weapon that sells for 100-300 gold on the TP, some of these people got TWO base weapons and made 400 gold for 10 minutes of effort. Are we to assume ANet thinks giving people this much money for 10 minutes of effort is healthy for the game, but having people being able to make a few gold per hour for actually working hard and dedicating themselves to playing the game is “upsetting the economy”?? Are you kidding me?

Where are the metrics that say “well maybe giving random people 400+ gold for 10 minutes of work would damage the economy”? Why do you think having people get 400+ gold for no work causes no damage but having people make a few gold for hard work is so damaging it has to be removed from the game?

I love mf gear and I plau the game for loot.

At the same time I noticed the effect that one or more people in mf gear has in the game. Especially in fotm.

If I want to farm and use mf gear I do it in 10 or lower. I still drop exotics and rares and complete it with ease. Anything 10 or higher I wear nothing with mf, unless we are steam rolling that level.

Dungeons for example have great rewards which is why they are always full.

I play about 6 hours everyday. My interests are treasure seeking (farming and dungeon runs). Farming events and mobs.

WvW after ive farmed for the day.

Im looking for a guild that has cconstant mf banners and buffs up. Farming groups and dungeon parties. I can contribute a lot of IP to the guild. As I have a ton for my current. There just arent enough people doing the things I enjoy so im looking for a group with similar interests.

Also I will switch servers if your guild is over seas lol.

Im not a big Anet fan atm due to what they have started to push the game to.

But this was amazing and I too got chills.

2 exotic weapons. 1 exotic soul bound gloves from FOTM.

Rares out the kitten About 5 hours played. They finally fixed the patch they put out for increased drops.

This is a trend that everyone is going to begin to see with Nnet. And I call them Nnet for Nerf Net. Everything they have done since the game came out is nerf.

The increase in loot did not take right. Vets and champs still drop nothint but blues and sometimes nothing at all. Never an exotic.

Salvage rates in ectos with mystic kits are horrendous. I get 1 or none every time I attempt it. I never end up with more ecto then rares started with. It used to be 2-3 every salvage!

Dye drop rates. O M G. 1 dye a day if youre lucky.

Its bad man, really bad. They have created somewhat of a depression as far as loot goes and its driving costs up across the board. While at the same time pushing people away and making others quit. Which in turn reduces farming and therefore supply.

You should have the option to increase or decrease a current buy order instead of removing and reposting it.

The first week fractal craze is also over, and fewer people are running fractals now, which was where the influx of lodestones and cores were coming from. I think the greatsword precursors are back to the prices they were at shortly before the cursed shore patch. Though the price will probably increase to the level you mentioned given the price of rare greatswords, unless they actually did significantly increase precursor forge rate. However, given how borked the drop rates were last patch, it woudn’t be surprising if the forge rate actually decreased lol.

The sad and funny thing here is people actually believed that Anet would do this.

Gold gain per hour is extremely lower then it was before

Drop rates have been nerfed.

These 3 things done together spells disaster for any game.

I kill dozens of vets and champs everyday and they drop nothing….

Its a one or none.

I never get more then one and half the time I get none.

Using mystic kit and level 80 rares. Now I sell my rares to the tp.

I still come to the forums everyday while im at work. Sincerely I hope they do something to change this game.

I still play maybe an hour every other day. Used to play 7 hours a day.

Reason being. The Karka Event and how it was put out and handled. Them addressing precursor prices by flooding them out to people in a ONE TIME event. Causing people to become instantly rich while I disconnected and am broke. The nerfing of Plinx, our only farm event. The nerfing of drop rates. The DR that was supposed to be for botting problems but only negatively effects the hardcore gamer. Why should I be penalized for playing your game for 8 hours straight? Makes no sense.

I feel like this game isnt about freedom to do as you please. Its about doing what Anet wants you to do. And im sorry video games are about the players, not those who made it.

If they changed everything I listed above I believe I and a lot of other players would play this til we died or got carpal tunnel. The money they make from gem sales would sky rocket. Servers would be packed and id feel safe referring someone to play GW2. Because right now, this game just came out and is near its end.

Why would I stop and take 5 mins to take down a Champion only for it to drop nothing.

I lose money on waypoints moving around maps. I lose about 11s per fractal run for repair costs and half the time I break even or n nothing of value drops. So dont tell me to farm there.

Chps and vets drop nothing of use so skip them. I have watched my gold go down for days now. Unless there is some secret that im missing out on here…
