Creating new lv1chars every time i come back after not paying gw2 for a while….and leveling them to lv 80 and gearing them with exotics..

probably the main reaso why i still dont have 100% world completion after 2years….

on that note, i leveled a mesmer being sure of my self its going to be my real main that i will use and explore the world and build a legendary with him…. got him the precursor for the focus…
now the mesmer is just siting there with 3000bloodstone dust in his inventory …

We need new skills.

The way i see it gw2 does have a bunch of diverent builds you could go with on any class. Its just that everyone decides to go with zerker gear traits that increases dmg in some way and weapons that gain the most from those traits.

i recently made a rampart s/s -lb warrior and it was really refreshing to play something other than gs-a/wh…. also i was able to solo some hard champs by dealing about 4k +dps on average.

my suggestion is to try something different. Even if its not ‘meta’.
for now im sticking to my dual sword warrior. Something you barely see nowdays..

Then you should understand your position here on these forums.
gw1 is full of lore characters and events that is entwined with the curent gw2

In short gw1players will enjoy some small parts of gw2 when you encounter something that is relative to gw1. As they have more fond memories conected wit the monuments, places, creatures, beings, and objects

like seeing ogden stonehealer the last known living dwarf. Gw1 players are able to play along side with him.

or encountering grawls praying to the statue of human god of war balthazar (grawls named it badazar)
In gw1 you used to walk pass this statur countless times in ascalon presesring as well as post searing.

or glinth the friendly cristal dragon…so many memories and stories about her that gw2 players will never experience in gw2

I leveled armorsmithing to lv 500 and i only bought a few t6 mats that i was missing while disco ering some cheep exotics.
that and buy ordering some silk scraps for my ascended armor

j never buy refined mats cause ifs cheeper to buy the raw materials.

and example would be its cheeper to buy 2-3 iron ores than 1 iron ingot….

I never folowed the guides but i did read them just to get some insight on how crafting works.

once i figured out how they work i simply used my own mats as fsr as i could instead buying refined mats from the tp.

Id rather focus anets resources on improving the ai of mobs and adding more mechanics on bosses and stuff like traps. Disablinb traps and using them against mobs. That sort of things...

soloing dungeons as they were yet another exploration pve area for low rewards in full zerker gear wouldng solve the toxic part of speedclearers

personaly i understand how dungeons work, how the best and fastest way of doing it is full zerkers and i adapted to it by joining SP parties with my SP gear and build and had noproblem.

Its the same if i we had the holly trinity and a guardian or a warrior went dps and not as a tank and everyone died cause the tank didnt hold agro on the mobs...

adapting is the key word when it comes to gw2 aspects of the game.
Dungeons could be better, till they change them its full zerker or gtfo to your guild/friends party

I doubt the stuff we have now will become worthless and obsolete…
im expecting the results would be something like the current way exotics and ascended gear works

As in you are able to do 90% of content with exotics, 95% with ascended and 100% with infused ascended
skill is involved in all of this as well. And with the expansion we will also include mastery skills and buffs

but yeah.. i doubt i wont be able to play the majority of content with out ‘grinding’ for some sort of ascended armor and infusions…

Im also sure the new content in hot will have a lot of champs that drop boxes for scrolls.

Armor repair has no purpose anymore

Vukorep.3081

Gnashblade is giving all the smiths a paid salary so we dont have to pay them for armor repairs.

just because there are free armor repairs doeant mean well be going full kitten mode and die whenever we feel like it (specially in dungeons)

the free armor repair is a part of free trait resets anywhere. It encurages mixing with traits and builds . And personally i like to have that option when im facing various enemies and i cant aford to wp to a city and back for a trait reset.

as for ‘whats the point in even keeping the repair feature’ is still the fact that our armor gets damaged over time and unless we repair it we wont benefit the stats that we get fron the broken armor.
And i like having a short break to the smith after a series of frustrating deaths. Maybe also visit the bank and tp while im at it.

Fun and useful "casual" builds

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

personally i believe the most defining part of a build would be the choice of weapons and the trait lines that makes the weapon skills more potent.

Wearing a specific set or a mix of different armor pieces only makes the numbers on the weapon skills bigger (or the numbers that you get hit with lower)

Runes on the other hand are a mix of raw stat boost for your numbers but also apply special effects just as traits do to skills.

Now enough with the explenation and oppinions on combat mechanics… I want to see more builds such as those i mentioned (something that isnt full PoPrFe gear with scholar or strength runes…

We are all aware of the usual full zerker strength runes builds out there but what about those cheep underrated runes that can actually be useful as well?

I wonder if anyone tried some of them and found out a great combo

Ill leave a few here:

1) Centaur runes on my mesmer

+175 power
+30%Swiftness duration
-50% crippled duration
You and your allies gain 10s of swiftness when used a skill (10s cooldown)

Mesmer is a class that doesnt have a +25% signet or a trait in running speed, and has very few options to grant them self a swiftness boon.

Using this rune set im able to use my Mirror or Mantra of recovery to grant my self permanent swiftness. It also gives me 175 power which is a great combination for a rune set to just roam around and explore the world for world completion.

2) Phalanx Strength warrior with Privateer runes

+175 might
+10%might duration
25%chance on struck to shout “YARR” to grant 3 stacks of might to your self and allies 20s cd
50% to summon a parrot.

I have been using these since i got my lvl 80 zerker gear for a long time till i crafted my self a ascended armor set.

Phalanx strength trait is a trait that shares all might stacks you gain to other nearby you. Most of the time this trait is used in dungeons when the party lacks might stacking.
Not only you gain 175 power to help with your full zerk dungeon gear, increases the duration of your might stacks but you also gain a 2nd For Great Justice! skill by shouting YARR!

When you shout YARR or FGJ not only you grant nearby players 3 stacks of might, but you also get 3 stacks, which are shared to your party members around you. Using YARR and FGJ = 12 stacks of might to your party and 6 to your self. If you use signet of rage thats 22might for party, 11 for your self..and they do last a very long time

Ive also found this set up useful when roaming around and exploring the world as you will almost constantly have a Parrot flying around you with a lot of might stacks to help you kill stuff faster (ive seen 3500+dmg coming from that bird)

You may also select a far away target and swing your melee weapon towards it, this will send the bird flying towards the mob you targeted.

Also, ive seen my self with 15-18 stacks constantly while soloing around, 20-25 stacks in group content .

So,anyone found any other cheep runes and non cookie cutter meta builds?

Zerk Meta issues

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Vukorep.3081

Vukorep.3081

Which content is affected?

In short: Zerk meta is affecting dungeons , imo the problem isnt in the zerker gear it self, its how dungeons work, and how mobs work, and how bosses in dungeons work.

Zerker meta is only effecting dungeons (imo) Nobody really cares what you are running with in the pve while you are exploring or killing megabosses. Sure, if you pay attention you will notice your self that at tequatl PTV would be best option when hitting tequatls feet since you cant crit tequatl. Tho defending turrets and batteries is another thing.

So zerk meta only is effecting dungeons only, what can we do about it?
Well let me first say that in this situation i dont think zerker gear is the problem… its just how dungeons work. There are no real hard elites and hard bosses that require any real tactic, timing or mechanic to fight or to stay alive during the fight. Is just stack in corner, nuke the boss, pay attention to aoe on the ground and a few of his special attacks that you can simply dodge away…and thats if he is able to cast is before his face melts off in 10 seconds.

As for PvP and WvW its a place where risks/rewards apply. You are fighting more “inteligent” and stronger enemies and group of enemies in those aspects of the game. So you will tend to give your character some sort of toughness and vitality as well as stun breaks and condi clenses.

Now imagine if we had that kind of enemies in dungeons? would we still stack in corner with our full zerker gear and wait for that one in 10 second attack ? ofc we wouldnt.. cause we know the boss would target the weakest player, and spam all sorts of skills that will make him go down asap and the boss would notice the enemies hard hitting atacks, aoes and move away form them… The boss would even heal him self up form time to time.

What is the problem?
The problem is the mobs abilities, the mobs AI and the structure of the dungeon.

Mobs ai is NOT threatening at all,its actually quite predictable. So predictable that ,as you an see, you can go full glass cannon and stay alive 100% by simply dodging its attacks.
Mobs abilities are super weak compared to the players ones. Attacking once per 5 second, throwing 1-2 special skills every10 seconds that can be dodged without out a sweat . (i suggest adding skills and cooldowns from player professions to all mobs as gw1 did)

The structure of the dungeons are pretty basic in most cases. A large amount of parts of dungeons can simply be skipped one way or the other. Trough stealth, portals, teleporting or simply running.

More traps, more interactions with mechanics, more preparations, more build ups, and most importantly → more rewards for doing so. If you dont reward a player with anything worth while for doing a 5man trap puzzle to open up the next part of the dungeon people will simply ignore that path completely and go for other much easier and faster paths.

How does it negatively impact your game experience?
While all professions are able to go full zerker some professions just benefit more from it than the other.
Resulting in people wanting and picking only players with a specific type of profession (warrior, guardian, elementalist, some include thieves and mezmers cause of their stealth, teleports and reflections)

This results in players who dont play those classes getting rejected to enter dungeons. And those who do play those classes might be new to the dungeons and wish to learn the ways of speed clear zerker way…but people dont have patience ,and will kick you cause you are a noob.

It creates a group of leetists players who want to group with other leetists who are already geared and know how to speed clear dungeons.

yes guys I know you play warrior and you defend your class i can understand it. But I’ m talking about F skills. An F skill can’ t do so much damage. But if we want to accept that amount of damage at least they should boost other classes F skills damage.
I repeate plz compare Ranger F skills to Warrior F skills and suffer with me
I want gw2 to be balanced and fair. If one day it will…litterally I wouldn’ t quit it never and never. This post is made to attract devs attention.
They should do something for this issue for gw2 future

why dont you compare the elementalist F skills? they do absolutely nothing at all except change your weapon skills.

Seriously whats the big deal about the F skills? Its a part of the professions mechanic.

Warriors have burst skills WHICH SHOULD DO BURST DAMAGE
Rangers have pets and use F skills to command and switch them with a whole bunch of them.
Elementalists use F skills that do nothing at all on their own…
Mezmers F skills destroy their illusions
ect.

F skills are a special mechanic available only to that class. and it should compliment the class.

Do you see others complaining how they need to solo while a ranger can have a pet and 5 spirits following him? a 7v1?! thats even more than a mezmer cna handle ….

As for balance between classes. If you want to deal 11k dmg with a BURST skill then you will have to get rid of your health and toughness, as well as spend time on preparing for that 1 hit by stacking vulnerability and might and 3 bars of addrenaline and hope your opponent doesnt have a dodge or a block or anything to negate that 1 shot.

Next time ill play a full bunker guardian, will you post another topic on the forum about how unbalanced your class is cause you cant kill a guardian with your full zerker offensive ranger?

welcome back

during the time you played you had to do 5 daily achievements. you would get 5x small exp amount +5 achievement points 1 laurel and a single mystic coin (used in the mystic forge)

now you get daily rewards by simply loging in. you get various things as well as laurels and mystic coins.

as for achievements you need to do only 3 daily achievements that will reward you with 10 points, + various rewards depending on what achivements you decided to do (pve achievements give you pve rewards, pvp ach =pvp rewards, wvw ach= wvw rewards)

PS: you missed out on a lot of content, story, and rewards. You missed the whole season 1 of living story, and the last finale of season 2 was recently added.

You cant play season 1 anymore (tho they mentioned it they might add it again later in the game..when..nobody knows ) and if you wish to go trough teh season 2 story youll need to unlock them by paying 200gems for each episode.

Normally you unlock them for free if you log in when they are released…

so yeah..frequently loging in the game gives rewards and unlocks living story.

Also, gw2 expansion pack has been officially announced a few days ago, it will be available in boxed eddition as well as a digital one. No news on the release date

Specialization skill speculation

in Warrior

Posted by: Vukorep.3081

Vukorep.3081

Atm we know professions that specialize will get a new weapon (that already exists in the game) that they havent been able to equip before, a healing skill ,elite skill, a set of utility skills (hopefully more than just 3 skills) new traits as well as a promise that the gameplay and the professions mechanic will change in a whole new experience.

Lets take the mentioned ranger-druid.

it will get a new weapon, a staff, it will still be able to have pets. It will have some new “druid” themed 6-0 skills and new traits that compliment those skills.

But what about the other skills? What about the bow skills, the gs, the axe, torch skills that it used as a ranger? Surely the druid isn’t restricted on using only a staff as a weapon? And surely the druids new gameplay changing mechanics arent restricted on only when played with a staff ?!

Surely i wont be a druid that uses a longbow- s/a with a bear pet that and play the same as a ranger?

I can only hope that specializing a profession would mean not only a new weapon with a handfull of new 6-0 and some traits but also new skills on previous “old” weapons…

TLDR: What do you think, will the old weapons change skills once you specialized into a new profession?

Condition Damage for PvE: Overflow

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Vukorep.3081

Vukorep.3081

some extreme condi builds and skills make extreme high condi damage (10-20k condi damage). Tho it is spread trough out 20+seconds so it only ticks for 1k dmg per second…if this would hit as overflow damage youd expect to deal 20k dmg in 1 hit.

i know some zerker skills hit for 15+k dmg yeah ok, sure…but that damage is physical damage that requires high amounts of power, high amount of crit chance (luck to be able to hit that crit chance as much as possible) as well as a high crit damage % multiplier.

Condi damage ignores all crit % and dmg,it also ignores armor and ignores the level differences and glancing blows…..

in other words… bosses that cant be crited such as tequatl would be better off fighting with a TVCdmg gear. Youll last longer, take less damage, and the entire zerg spams their spammable condi stacking skills till they see the cap hitting the roof. Then they start hiting their 20 seconds bleeding , 30 second poison and 25 s burning skills…and you end up spiking the boss down with masive pure armor ignoring damage.

How about adding a debuff on the target when it gets a condi cap that makes all condi damage 25% stronger against him instead?

so that the new conditions applied deal more damage even tho they will last less since they will get replaced soon after?

true action base combat

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Vukorep.3081

Vukorep.3081

really? tera is more action combaty than gw2?

tell me how riding my horse around the zone aggroing everything around me, then quickly summon my thrall that tanks half of them while i walk-stop-aoe-walk-stop-aoe in circles till they are all dead more actiony?

tera has some great BAMs that use their epic mobile, destructive aoes very often. And it keeps you on the edge cause you have a limited amount of mana and health and your dodges are also very limited….but those BAMs are about 10% of all the monsters you will ever see and encounter in the game (at least in my experiance) and they cant be seen in the world you quest in. They are mostly placed in dungeons and instances.

and yeah, gw2 combat is more fluid than that of tera. Your character is far more mobile and flexible with their movement ,attacks and dodges.

If i could make a action mmorpg i would use the fluidity of gw2 combat, turn all monsters into BAMs(the better ones not the low lvl ones…)AND i would apply all skills from playable classes into the mobs you are facing (just like gw1 did)

The problem in gw2 is that the mobs arent very smart… they have their hp bar and auto atacks every 5 seconds. maybe use a attack that applies a condition,or knock downs, or some sort of aoe every now and then but thats it.

personally i only see the huge zerk only meta problem in dungeons…

dealing dmg in general pve exploring is good if you wish to blaze trough content faster, tho nothing is yelling at you to play with such gear while you do hearts…

So im i the only one seeing how the problem lies in dungeons and not in the zerk stats?

Current dungeons have no plans of changing any time soon (in fact nobody was working on them at all all this time) But maybe the new group content in HoT will require more sustain damage with burst dmg in key moments along with people casting protection, regen, reflects trough out the battle?

“Its something you’ve never seen before” so im looking forward to being surprised with the promised hard ,exciting challenges .

Warriors secondary class speculation

in Warrior

Posted by: Vukorep.3081

Vukorep.3081

as said before there are no new weapons, no spears, no 2h greataxes, no pole arms… its also officially said that the devs warned the animators and graphix designers that people will confuse the new skins for some sort of a new weapon (such as ritlocks staff looking as a spear…but its still a staff)

new class specializations will get a new weapon (that already exists in the game) to equip, new healing skill, new elite, new “set of utility skills” ( dunno if a set means 3 skills or 13) new traits, as well as a “new way that will change the mechanics of the old profession”

Cause i seriously doubt rangers turning into druids will simply get 5 new skills that comes from their staff, 1new healing, 3 utility and 1 elite skill + 3-5 traits that go with the 10 new skills…

New Player Warrior Help:

in Warrior

Posted by: Vukorep.3081

Vukorep.3081

Hi ,and welcome to the game.

1) Some builds can be found on youtube, others on reddits and others here on this forum. For some “meta super optimal 110% cookie cutter builds” try going to
http://metabattle.com/wiki/MetaBattle_Wiki

Note that metabattle might not have all kinds of builds that your class offers you to play…cause this is “meta”.

Some noticeable builds for a warrior are :
Shout warriors, banner warriors, phalanx strength warriors, pure zerk warriors, bleed /condition stacking warriors. (among other pvp /wvw related builds)

2) You can only have 2 crafting professions active at any time, and it can be any profession you wish to be. You can switch them to another crafting profession as much as you like (for a small fee) . Eventually you may want to lvl up ALL craftings to lvl 400-500. Armorsmith is the crafting profession for heavy armor (warriors use those)

3)Ascended gear is the highest tier of gear in the game. You can obtain ascended accessories in the laurel shop, the wvw laurel shop (costs less laurels but also uses wvw badges) as well as fractal tokens and fractal drops
As for armor and weapon you must craft them.
In order to craft them however you need to bring your appropriate crafting profession up to 500 (500 is max) and then start crafting ascended materials (such as bolt of damask, deldrimor steel ect).

Note that while you can craft those multiple times a day, each 1 of them have a part that allows you to craft it only once per day.

For example, youll need 20-30 days to craft a full ascended set of armor. Another option is to buy the deldrimor steel and damask off the Trade Post…but it will cost you double if not triple amount of gold youd normally spend on crafting them your self once per day.

Also note that ascended gear recipes cost laurels as well, and please pay attention to which you buy as there are a lot of different kinds of stats with different names. You wouldnt want to buy 1 zerker recipe, 2 soldiers and 3 dire recipies…unless thats the combination you wish to go for.

Also note that Exotic gear is just as good, ascended stats only gives off a minor amount of stat boost….but its a goal worth going for if you want to have that "my character is now complete " feeling

Ranged and easy build for old-man reflexes?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Vukorep.3081

ranger profession offers a lot of great ranged pew pew builds, but the most “easy laid back” ranged build /class that comes to my mind would be a guardian.

Guardian staff- scepter/focus/torch would be the most easy ranged class.

You can hit a lot of mobs and tag monsters to get loot, as well as party wide buffs and heals.

Tho it might not be the most viable and some groups would question you siting on your staff all the time in dungeons… since it doesnt do much dmg

Bring Back Holy Trinity

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Vukorep.3081

Vukorep.3081

actually the holly trinity wont help with gw2 dungeons.

Its not the classes that have a problem its the dungeons .Dungeons just work as they work….and they dont work as a “traditional mmo with holly trinity” …

and if we had a dedicated tank, and a healer, people will still go full 5x DPS classes cause nothing changed how dungeon works! You still have mobs ,elites and bosses that hit like the hype train we are all on right now no mater how good your defense is. We still have mobs that are confused on who has the more aggro in the party, and we still have bosses that can be just power nuked in a corner.

And their slooow atacks are meaningless, and their big attacks can be just dodged away

Question about ranger armor

personally i dont bother with how my armor looks util lv 80
then i pick a stat combo that i see my self using most of the time (probbably zerker cause i tend to play dungeons a lot..)

THEN i take off aaaall my clothes OFF, and then stand in front of a bank for HOURS clicking and previewing all the skins form the game to find my perfect mix of skins for my armor.

most of the time i already have them unlocked, others im able to buy off the tp.

For example on my Heavy class i use crafted skins gloves and boots, head of koda for helmet, body armor is 2nd tier human cultural armor and pants are from the vigil.

Then i search for those items with those skins, unlock the skins and transmute them on my gear i use the most.

It takes a few hours of clicking and checking and writing down names of skins and comparing them with each other, but in the end i have my very own custom perfect looking armor set

thats all fine from a human point of view…. but seriously lets not mix up human gods (that are missing for years now) with other races that are using the same profession as everyone else from any other race…

Also you went into school to LEARN magic to become a monk,or a elementalist or a mezmer ect (an example would be nolani academy).

Where and how do you think warriors would get their might and strength? Their muscles, strong body structure as well as tactical combat thinking just simply magically appeared by the will of balthazar?

also what does signet of healing, stamina, might, rage, fury and dolyak have to do with balthazar…the human god…

did balthazar ride a mighty furious dolyak with endless stamina into victory!? Did the dolyak had gunk that could heal every type of battle wound?!

Warriors are the “real” soldier class in this game, no magic, just raw muscle.

Except one thing.. Warriors already using magic of Balthazar to give them that strength you speaking about…

you mean all sylvari, charr, asura and norn warriors are praying to the HUMAN God Balthazar to give them magical strength that is raw muscle power?

How to save a dying guild?

oh, forgot to mention

Guild halls will be added to the game in the next expansion. and it wont be just a pretty place to hang out. It will have some functionality as well.

You can even preform special ceremonies inside it when someone gets promoted :P

Do also know that there are a lot of people who play a mmo alone……and join guilds in the hope they will make some friends but end up just reading the guild chat while soloing everything.

For them its all about having a extra chat on their screen where they can ask questions about the game, ask if anyone is interested in helping helping them out on something, or just another “safer” LFG tool. Also guild commendation rewards and extra guild buffs.

Know that no matter how cool your guild is and how much effort you and your friends put in adding new “custom events” in your guild you cant force anyone in doing them

there are many ways of getting gold and mats for a legendary, some are more efficient than others but none of them are super fast make a legendary in 3 days kind of a thing….

Theoretically you could use a mystic forge, plop 100 gold worth of rares in it and get a 1400g worth dusk….sell it,buy another 100gold worth of rares and get 2nd 1400g worth of dusk….

But practically its kinda almost impossible…. but who am i to tell you that. Try your luck!….i mean… Try gw2 rng!

do you personally know all 300 members?
Or do you only know and play with your friends that are the “core members” of your guild?

if so start inviting new players into the guild, when out of space kick the ones that are the most inactive to make room for more new active players.

Another thing would be how to keep the players inside your guild.

Having regular guild missions is nice, but other self started events are even better.

Try making a schedule with various things such as full dungeon runs, Teaching dungeon runs, tequatl runs, guild parties, scavenger hunts, lottery , prizes ,rewards, pvp guild tournaments, wvw guild runs ect.

Create a cool guild rank system and make some sort of conditions for people to do in order to progress further up the ranks (even tho they only give a fancy name and no real power in the guild)

Tell the members they MUST represent the guild at all times, in return reward them with plenty of guild wide buffs. Players just love to mouse over the guild button and see a looooong list of benefits coming from the guild they are inside

in a group of ranger and elementalist i would pick guardian as a melee heavy class character.

Tho a engineer does have some nice fields for the rangers projectile finishers, and some nice blast finishers for the elementalist fields… i still think having a guardian will offer more diversity to your 3 man party there.

Pros and cons of different types of warriors?

in Warrior

Vukorep.3081

There are phalanx strenght warriors that are able to stack a ton of might on them self and share it with people around them

there are banner warriors that not only increase the base stats of players around them but also provide permanent large aoe regen, swiftness and fury.

there are shout warriors with warhorns that are able to clense conditions from everyone around them quite often as well as give enough heal that it can be compared to some other classes primary heal skill 6

theres also that simple glass cannon full zerk build, as well as full bunker tank with a ridiculous amount of health and armor paired with even more health regen and condi clenses….

Then theres also that one build that balances enough of both tanky survivablity as well as great dps by NOT going full extreme on either power or toughness/vit stats…
It can happen once you stop going with full armor sets and start mixing them up and tweaking them with accessories and weapon stats.

Theres also interupt, stun, knock down, knock away, confusion stacking, bleed stacking condi warriors

Not all of them are 100% meta viable in all aspects of the game. But thats how the game works. It offers you to play a class with many skills, many traits and tools with different ways of killing, supporting and healing your self and people around you in many different kinds of aspects of the game.

Aspects of the game being: General pvE exploration, dungeon, Spvp,Tpvp, WvW.

You cant seriously expect to use a single combination of gear/traits/skills and it to be the best viable option in all aspects of this game.

Its something i find my self typing over and over and oooover and ooooooover again both on forums as well as in game to players that are saying things such as “toughness and healing is useless in dungeons and pvp sucks cause i keep getting instantly killed by anyone with my full zerker gear!!”

Good bye warrior?

first of all i warrior offers a few more options other than simply crush kill smack no brain no pain feel.

Such as:
- 25 might stack sharing phalanx strength warrior
-permanent large aoe regen banners (+stat increases, swiftness, fury)
-Shout healer +warhorn = massive amounts of on demand condi removal from everyone around you as well as enough heal to be compared to some classes main healing skill
-stunner,interupter, confusion stacking, bleed stacking condi warrior.
-massive juggernaut bunker tank with the highest possible health, armor, condi clenses as well as healing and health regen (ofc, for the price of 0 dmg…but its possible to gain some pretty good dmg at the price of not going full extreme with the armor and health part)

Ofc, not all of those “builds” are perfectly 100% meta viable in all parts of the game…but thats the thing about this game. Each class offers a different set of skills and tools that can and SHOULD be used in different aspects of the game.

Aspects of the game being : exploration pve, dungeons, Spvp,Tpvp, WvW, some living stories, and others more to come in the new expansion

Speaking of expansion who can say that the new warrior specialization wont be even more hulk smash and bash your face in kinda class?

Fine Tuning Phalanx Warrior With Nerf

well..adding another sigil that doesnt give you might will reduce the effect of your phalanx warrior theme build.

These changes will make your sigil of strength and battle a bit weaker but they are still the best things to go for in a might phalanx sharing build..

Think about the changes to crit damage and ferocity.
Even if that change lowered the crit damage of full zerker gear a bit ,the gear is still the best around to use for pure damage

but thats just my opinion from one phalanx to another phalanx
