this is part of what killed hot. and the game all together . was fake hype just like this . and when this is not delivered upon the amount of salt well am sure that taste will not go over so very well at all .

i bet even if they add it so you could place a item on tp for bidding . say for 5 copper and let it go for 48 hours and at the end of time the highest bidder wins that item and the gold comes out of their banks . they still turn it down . and even if they put everything in to proper categories and so forth they turn that down as well too . i will admit that is one of the things wow got right with their AH/TP system . and the gold runs faster than water its self even

have you done the ls2 yet ?? they got a lot of masterys locked in it as well

for me i very very much dislike having world bosses in the game fully . also they spam map chats as well as being a problem to get around to get where you’re going to the other side of the map to do hearts or something .the same goes too for the toxic events as well they are also a problem in the game . and give the same problems as well too

For instance, in the early days of WoW they didn’t have an easy system for quickly forming groups and entering dungeons. Instead, you had to form the group the hard way and get everyone physically to the instance entrance (made even more interesting when the instance was in enemy territory!).

I’m not sure I would say WoW would be better off returning to such a system. It required far too much time and effort to run dungeons. The less we’re forced to rely on and interact with other players to achieve our goals, the less we build those networks, and the less immersive the game feels.

In any event, while I recognize what this suggestion is intended to do, I really don’t think it strikes a good balance. The benefits of immersion are minimal while the cost in convenience is huge.

not sure what that has to do at all with AH/tp but i will say i do like the wow AH a whole lot more better with the fact that . i can sell stuff very easy but i can also put stuff up for people to bid on and the highest price takes it. got to admit i love that kind of gambling . and i do love how wows AH is set up and works . it be nice to see gw2 TP . a bit more like wow,s AH set up and who knows it might even just make gold flow free like turning on a water tap even maybe

ok and so not sure if you been reading but i notice they got problems with your video cards leads me to wonder is it the vendors that make the -problem or the software writers that make the problems .

and since your comp tech get a load of this i got the fx 8350 4.0 no overclocking dual air cooled with cooler master 95 cfm fans and msi gfx 960 4 gig video card . and places like la and rata sum . when busy i drop to 40 fps . but yet in the world maps i hit 90 to 100 fps . and in wow i easy get 110 fps if am not in stormwind or one of the major towns . oh and my memory is 32 gigs . and have given thoughts if i was to upgrade my fx8350 cpu. with no overclocking

no that will only drive players away from the game and trading post all together . while current tp is ok ., it does need to changed up and far more better organized fully!! some of a combo deal could work but more like wows AH . set up where it has full lists of things like ore food cooking and so forth all together tonics for raids and buffs and professions all together . armor and weapons by themselves . and put tools in there own slots as well as skins and just do not put crafting stuff together in one bag . list them by class and so forth same for runes and armor parts for crafting put them all together in one slot only . in some small way right now the current tp is like wows AH . but it does need more improvements. but the way you’re suggesting it will not work at all . you find more people putting WTS in chats then they will use the set up your suggesting

i agree with you on this and like the idea fully . but i will say this much if they do make darn sure they do it in such a way . that no one can hug a wall at all . and if they do hug a wall they get kicked out or just die . force and make the player get into the game and fight back in the dungeon . and not just run up to a wall hug the wall kill the boss and get rewarded for wall hugging . like if they hug the wall have some big hands grab them and squeeze them to their deaths or fall into a pit and die off

got to say after watching all the videos and listen to what woodenpotatoes and not trying to read any thing into it at all . yes for the most part i will say he got a lot of it right cases in points

A. masteries systems should not ever been and for new players it can be a pain , even more so with meta events and almost like raids bosses tied into it . when you do hot stuff . maybe the masteries system will be updated or not or maybe wiped out in updates

B. content while we got some new content in the last two years . still tho it feels like the main part of the game is lacking in content still . and could use more with out meta events or boss tied to them . think this is where it really hit for me after playing the first guild wars since it first came out to the gw2 . going from questing all the time to no questing all the time now. and just doing these hearts with no story or anything tied to them at all .boring for me . and it is made even far more worse am sure for the new players as well. when they try to do this and maybe get side tracked by all the meta and world boss stuff in the pve maps today .

C. Fractals should been put with dungeons . it would made the dungeons far more better maybe .

D. dungeons left to die . but could have should have been so much more

E. Current Events meta events made the game far more worse in my opinion these things should have been put with the raid stuff and keep fully out of pve maps and stuff all together .

F. leather farming well i think we all know how well that went or did not go . and needs to still really be fixed more then it was with the ls story stuff really bad way to fix it.

G. raids could be a good thing or they can be a bad thing. no matter how you look at it tho they should not done it the way they did and let the rest of the game just die or fall off the map if you will

H. gold does not flow well enough in this game unlike other games like wow eso and so forth . alone with upping prices in game to buy things great way to kill the flow of gold and not encouraging players to go after and spend it like water . great job there well very done .

the rest i will wait for when it comes out and update then . but for now this is my opinion of the videos so far i seen and with out any thing read into or add into this at all ,.

i forgot also soul and acount bound stuff should be changed and made shareable across the whole acount . for the other toons to use some of the items instead of making them go out and do it all over again taking up more bag and bank space . just make it all acount bound and also make it more easy to get rid of items once done with them or not wanting to use that item no more

So let me be more specific. Here’s one example of how the current options can be better named to accomplish the OP’s goals.
(I’m not married to the specific words below — I just want to point out that ANet could rephrase things a little to make it more obvious what sorts of reports should go where.)

• Botting Exploiting the game or ToS, including botting, AFK farming, exploiting, or describing an exploit.
• Inappropriate Character Name Inappropriate names, including character, pet, or guild.
• Verbal Abuse Verbal Abuse, including inappropriate language, attacks on individuals, hate speech.

(This would require a bigger window and there’s plenty of room.)

think these are great ideas but also like to see add to this the choice to report some one for talking about politics in the game . as well as players giving their ranger pets bad names as well as political names like trump and putin . and make it also so they are banned from the game . based on these factual reports to anet

this right here is why i always make a new toon for low lvl areas . i see no need to have 80 lvl toons in a 1 to 15 lvl area of the game . it just makes it more harder for thos trying to lvl up . and progress to the next level of the game areas . case in point for making the area harder for thos lvling up the new champs that was put into the game . get in the way of low lvl toons trying to lvl up . before moving on . like the one champ that is by the lake area some one having to go to the bettlerin area and want to go via the lake way sometimes can have a problem in doing so . and be forced to go back to Scaver Plateau . and go around that way to avoid the boss and boss fights there

I think it would be a bad thing for SAB fans to have it available all the time. Familiarity breeds contempt, especially for gamers.

As an example, there are already a couple of posts about people complaining they have nothing left to do in SAB. (Presumably they farmed all the skins, finished all the achievements.) They are insisting they need more, more, more. This minority of SAB fans would grow, the longer SAB remains open.

The problem is that while SAB fans are extremely passionate about the game mode, lots of people are indifferent or event hate it just as passionately — they aren’t jumpers or they don’t like platform games or they have no nostalgia for the 8-bit era.

Thus investing in SAB development might not be the best thing for the game and its community, despite how much the OP and others love it.

The biggest drawback to Ryzen right now is the Windows Scheduling conflicts with SMT. I have seen users posting videos out where they are keeping 15+ FPS in world events like Teq and Claw without issue.

The second drawback is the lack of support AMD gave MB Manufacturers when it comes to hardware compatibility (ie: RAM Speed limitations and other faults that lie with the BIOS intergration).

Once these are addressed, I believe the Ryzen with be a viable option for GW2.

not really at all giving 2 things first the game its self will never support it fully and only 15 fps during teq is not much at all .

Yes it’s called BGDM, as others have posted in the thread, the consent is given by you using the Meter and joining a party or squad that uses it as well.

no to answer OP question it will not change or do anything at all . for changing zones or map instance . with mega servers it will just stay the same . and so will your wvw stay the same too as well . unless you change servers for good . and then it will only change your wvw situation. as you be going from wvw to a different one

12 man instances, takes up to 2 hours, did not need damage meters, raid like mechanics.

GW games are not about being competitive dps races, if it was then we would be playing wow, rift etc, that niche in the market is well covered.

guild wars never took 2 hours to do elite missions at all . and not only that but you did

not need people at all to do them . as guild wars add something called heros to the

I don’t think the ‘airplane thing’ was a mistake. They had it planned long before any real life incidents happened and it was irrational to me for some to relate it as intentional to any recent things that occurred. There are always some who will take apples and oranges and try to turn them both into melons, lol… I thoroughly enjoyed the airplane animation – it was clever and well done. I also loved the bobble head – I laughed and laughed when I first logged in. Then I took lots of pictures for both events. Even now I look back at those days and chuckle.

I realize some just either don’t ‘get it’ or only want about a minute or two of the joke so they can get on with whatever it is that is their focus. As one day of the year to just get silly I would prefer that Anet continue to gift us with one day of crazy. SAB can be there too for folk who love that and want to get away from the crazy. I really want to be able to look forward each year to what Anet has up their sleeve for us on this one day. Goodness knows we need the laughs.

With LW Season 3, Anet introduced ways to farm all tiers of leather, cloth. and tried to make it more easy to get leather and cloth . but yet it has not gone very well compared to mithril being sold on the tp for very cheaply . leather is still up in the 80 silver ranges and so is cloth . its like the changes anet tried has not worked out as well at we or they would have liked or hoped for

i could have bought the Royal Terrace pass. but i just see no need it as it offers me noting at all . that i can not get from any other part in the game . while its nice to have them um, special areas . for me i just can not justify spending the gems for it . even at 700 gems to me . it still just was not worth it .

myself when i do go to the low lvl areas with any of my 80,s toons . i try to make very sure am not in any way . taking away from thos in the area around me who are trying to lvl up .

i just tend to go get the nodes i need to farm . now if there is some one by me who is low lvl and some thing is trying to get me . then i will kill it . or if i see someone overrun by mobs . that is the only time at best i help players who are lower then me .and do not have good gear as me. otherwise i just let the low lvl people do there thing and i do mine . and enjoy the game .

but i will also say i think it be useful to maybe anet put out some of the low lvl nodes like they do with the rest of them to be farmed in your home instance .

no one gets op post and keeps on with advice about getting other people to help . when op is a single player and likes to play by self . and does not even get op tries to avoid meta events fully . #smh

To be honest though I like the exploring and discovery part of these games, and in the past tagging round with experienced players just makes things boring (this is experience from WoW).

I’d go back to exploring the core maps, but somehow that just feels stale without the leveling.

same here too as well even tho i play na servers . for me it is far more fun going off all by myself with no one. and enjoying the game fully and going over every map. but sigh when you get hit by them meta events and other events in the game . that just takes the fun out of it fully . noting like trying to go to a new spot and getting hit by this games meta events . forcing me to map to a different map most of the time

how ever in the case of wow tho playing since the last 2 packs has been very fun questing and going all over them maps . and not having to worry very much about
meta events getting tossed up in your face all the time . or events going into the maps at all .

All the other games I played in 4k like RIFT or TSW they don’t have a special set of graphics or icons to suit 4k.
No one asked to create a texture 4k specific,changing the resolution to 4k looks great as is.
Problem is the size of the fonts,and other elements like ui,the Setting menu,choosing dyes etc.
Dont create 4k game for us,just provide like a magnifying glass effect so we can enlarge those specific elements that’s all.
They only let you scale the UI. the result can be a bit blurry and not fine looking,but its a solution without changing anything and solving the problem of extremely small fonts etc in 4k.

i will say in the case of fonts now that is something also that be welcomed if it was set .so you could make the letters any size you liked or need . like in the case of people who do not have good eyesight yet still love to game . i think it would be really great for it
