Actually, not being WoW was one of the charms GW2 won me over with. >.<

I’ve experienced failure on the endboss about 1 run in 4, and that’s been from people giving up/not learning. Each fail had multiple people eating gears within 15 seconds.

Every other time, featuring people with the ability to learn from their mistakes, has ended in success. Eventually.

I’m happy to suffer on the way to a win when I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. If the people tie themselves to the traintracks before we even pull, not so much.

I tried planting them in the best of dirt, watered them, plenty of sunshine, and I even sing the cutest lullabies to them, but they’re not sprouting yet.

All I know is that it took me about 20 sentries to get credit for 5 flips, on TC BL btw, for the daily yesterday before the day reset. I kept having to bail out while waiting in the circle.

We’re all fourthy just being ourselves here in the Toasty Coast. We follow our hearts and sometimes we follow commanders and every now and then we follow a commander with a heart, but if he eats it all bets are off.

There are those that want things certain ways and others their own. For the most part, TC’s great strength is respecting each other as we go looking for whatever we want to find.

We’ll end up wherever our roads lead us, and not for wanting someone to lead us there. All I can do is enjoy the journey, even if occasionally that’s back to a WvW waypoint. ^^

Well, it’s like, needing more man power right? But I’m a P/D thief, so that’s condition damage all the way. Power’s ok, especially when I get my shortbow on, or arrows off, either way both ways same time. And gender is irrelevant to dealing damage, in GW2 anyway.

I had a LOT of respect for how they held out on a regular basis with little back up. I lost all of it when they left to a T1 server, of all places.

Maybe they got tired of all that holding out. There’s also no other mandarin-speaking wvw community on TC during the times they played, something JQ does offer.

There’s always two sides to the story. It sucks to see them go, but I won’t go as far as saying they don’t deserve respect.

We’ll always have Tarnished Coast.

I’ve only seen the big wave once, but I avoided it because I was trying to D the north battery. It was one of those "OMG no one went there?" things. I guess it had to be an overflow. It was days ago, so I’m sketchy. I just remember seeing the wave coming and I was far enough that I managed to leg it out.
