Just for the record, immobilize is way more powerful. Some genius designed it so it could stack and last for an eternity.
Melee weapon = More dps, but more risky
Range weapon = Less dps, but less risky

Lol the issue was multiple guardians stacking their symbols, the problem was never about a single guardian scaling all that damage. Try again
Judging by how devs only cared about conditions being as powerful as a full zerk with this last patch… yeah they dont give a kitten about build variety. It’s really sad cause I have always liked to construct my own builds but in here it’s all about Berserker and now Sinister Gear. Efff the other 20+ stats prefixes right?
And also RIP any sustain they ever had because of going full burn, some of you make it sound like guards can spam aegis, blind, blocks in every single build while also exaggerating in having always regeneration.
This is what Ive always said, condi guards are nothing or everything because of that only condition they have… if you nerf burning without some other compensation you will really hurt guardians. And either way the build is only viable against bad experienced players.

Toughness is totally useless against conditions btw, ohh and vitality is also a huge “lol” with classes like guardian who still have base 11k HP

No, if you nerf fire you are making condi guardian useless again since the only thing they got is fire……. you need to make toughness useful against conditions or find some way for mitigation builds/stats have an actual use, not everyone has easy access to constant cleanse and some classes got such low HP pool that they die at any single burst.
@mallyx nobody can apply 500 stacks of conditions even on jungle wurm boss it didnt go over 120 with +40 players but it died in 10 seconds anyway
Correct in that but yeah the point is that not even the tenth value of the cap (150 stacks) has to reached in order to obliterate everything in 20 secs

Yep, Zerk builds need these 3 stats: Power, Precision, Ferocity while Condition builds only need to make use of one stat “Condition Damage” to be able to pull most of the damage and at the same time they can go with whatever other two stats, like Toughness and Vitality…
And yeah Malystryx, conditions go right through any toughness you have, there’s no way to reduce its damage aside from that new buff only some classes got.
As I also said, then put back the 25 stack cap. Lol this seriously needs some tuning.
Same logic applied to the rest of the builds, you might as well remove them already.
It is simple math, everything at the moment is dying at least 5 times faster than before. Raw damage and condition damage are not equal, the late being way too powerful right now… and they did not buff raw damage, just conditions. So they either have to put back the 25 stacks cap or tone down the damage.
Build diversity? Cleric, Soldier, Nomad gear are still forgotten in the void lol, all the damage mitigation builds are still lacklustre

Aside from pvp being a mess at the moment due to the insane bursts… World Bosses are just a joke now.
Damage mitigation should have been tweaked as well and not just DPS, for both PvP and PvE…

Legendaries should be given something really good so Ascended gear can freely change stats.

Ugh most of the new changes were “ok” for guardian except for this… it is really really bad so please consider changing it to give 3 stacks at least instead and keep the ICD
or leave it as it is now, 1 stack with no ICD.

Why do you people feel like ascended is mandatory for all your characters?
Get trinkets and weapons, they are easier and much cheaper to get.
Wouldnt the difference between character fully geared in ascended, and character only not having ascended armor, be much less then 10% in result?
Are we talking about 3-5% difference in stats being mandatory right now, or are my thoughts on this wrong?
Exactly, with the bad habit of stacking on each single boss even exotic is overkill for PVE in my opinion, too easy.
And it’s not like Ascended gear is even hard to farm, an armor set only took me a month without even really trying and then I took a 6 month break lol
