I only touched on DH because I know it well and I don’t play Mesmer. Unlike you, I don’t attempt to discuss minute details of things I don’t know. But hey, shockingly, someone else already pointed out you got that wrong too.

Shiro itself is not overpowered. However, it offers insane utility in conquest that makes it simply outstanding in PvP. Think about it. It gives insane mobility that rivals even thief. It has INSANE survivability with Glint/Shiro due to the combination of blocks and dodges. It is true that they lose a lot of sustain if they switch to Malyx Revenant but that trade off is insane amount of boon rip and condi damage.

Nerfing Shiro would hurt revenant in some aspects while keeping the core of the build you are trying to run viable. For instance, if you run Malyx/Shiro you will still have insane amount of damage but it will identify your role similar to reapers’. If you run Glint/Shiro you will still be really strong in survivability as you maintain the blocks.

Nerfing shiro would not totally remove Revenant from the meta, rather it will simply hurt its mobility in teamfights, res/cleave power, etc.

Yall do understand that right? None of those skills are all that strong without Shiro. I dont use Shiro in SPvP, so i know. Demon and Assassin are best non glint Legends.. dwarf takes some mastery. It need buff. Tablet need to be upgraded to IpadPro.

See, I personally HATE the nerf bat (Former ele main) and it drives me nuts to the point that I cannot play a class if I think the bat may be cometh. im sticking with my underpowered zerker and perfectly balanced reaper for now because ill pull my hair out if they touch rev while im playing it.

And can people even count? With 5 slots per team obviously 4 classes would be left out, and I’m not even surprised or concerned when a team takes two of the same class. If there was at least another gametype I’m very certain that the builds and class choices would be very different. Also if you just “balance” around a territories gamemode then you really will mess up whenever the settings change.

In this definition everybody will admit :
1) Revenant is OP as hell
2) Tempest & Engi are coming after
3) Mesmer is not in a bad spot
4) Dragon hunter is in poor spot (not so surprisingly for me)
5) Warrior has disapeared
6) It is not worth talking about vanilla classes (due to classical opness of last stuff delivered on grindy mmo games)

Maybe it’s actually the opposite. Maybe the people that do lose to Revenants think that there’s no way they could lose to them with their super-ninja skills, so Revenant must be broken.

It’s funny, because I think Revenant is a class that (in a 1v1 scenario) feeds itself on the mistakes of your opponent. On contraposition, it also wrecks itself if your opponent does not make mistakes (not hitting heal of stupid, nullifying Shiro heal, interrupting UA etc.).

Rapid Fire is a channel, CoR is not.

A single block like an aegis or even a short duration evade completly negates CoR, Rapid Fire still has way more room to dish out damage, besides the fact that it hits harder.

Good thing I barely played DH for like 2 hours, would have been horrible to like the class for then just to be brought back to a mediocre medi build again. (Save your bunker meta guard bs, that stopped being a thing like 2 years ago)

Ive never hit above 10k crit on an underlevel at WvW with 25 bloodlust stacks and around 10 might stacks, and same setup hits for around 6k crit at much on lvl 80 glass cannon builds with exotic at least. Idk what are people smoking to say it does easy 20k’s, if anything look at Coalescence of Ruin’s trait cause tbh I havent tried it since it looks too cheesy. And it’s funny cause Ive seen multiple times lvl 80s get hit for 10k+ from skills like Rapid Fire and thats why they got higher cds and are way harder to avoid.
