Repair canisters will still be as useful.
They’re not removing armor damage, just the cost of repairing.
Everybody got the news at the same time. You don’t deserve special treatment just because you have 2 legendaries
I have a crap load of skins I have several copies of on my 10 characters. Shouldn’t I get compensation for them even though they are not legendary or even lvl 80 exotics? What’s the criteria here? The cost? The level? What’s the compensation exactly? Money? How much money?
See, it’s just too difficult.
No compensation.
Creating an asura, exploring Rata Sum, deleting him and doing it all again isn’t that long. That’s why I’m wondering if it’s gonna be nerfed.
Its only 10-15 min with as asura warrior, but its the worst job ever. Extremely boring. I can probably only take 1 hr of it daily.
But it’s one piece of armor each time, so for one character’s complete set it’s not that long. Just spread it out on a few days.
I once asked if maybe Anet needed a gambling license or something (because this is real money we’re talking about) but I don’t think I ever got an official answer, pointing to concrete laws or regulations.
Closing the game and re-launching fixed it for me.
EU: nothing for me.

I see. I thought the blue ones would give us 3 charges and the yellow 1.
But it’s the other way around, we need 3 yellow for 1 charge.
If they do award Charges, it would most likely only be one, as Transmutation Stones will exchange at the rate of 3 Stones to one Charge.
No, stones are 1 to 1.
Crystals are 1 to 3.
Right now, when you finish exploring a capital city you get 3 transmutation stones as a reward. After the april 15th patch, are those gonna be changed to 3 transmutation charges? Or are they gonna be replaced by something else?
I hate gambling.
I still do it from time to time but I hate it.
“Stable” because many other classes are badly designed and need to be retooled. If a class goes through a lot of changes, it’s probably because it’s badly conceived of.
Sure, we’re “balanced”. You know what that means? It means we’re average. We’re good at nothing.
When another class comes across a guardian in WvW they think “great, free kill”. We have low HP, average DPS, low mobility. As soon as our condition cleanses have been used we’re dead. We can’t even run away.
Oh yeah, we can buff others. That way they can get the kills and the bags.
They charged a pigeon poop face tattoo 500 gems. Obviously all they care about at this point is money.
Yeah and on the other end a lot of guardians will reroll warrior.
You shouldn’t worry. Warrior is the devs’ favorite class. Even if it’s nerfed it will still be the overall best class.
When you try to use tactics (like splitting up and attacking different objectives) you always end up coming across a zerg and because they have way more people they destroy you.
no, it’s the bandwagoners that flooded our server recently…I’ve been there since release and I have no intentions in leaving as I pretty much like it on Gandara (at least until now).
Then blame the bandwagoners, not anet.
As far as I know, ArenaNet came up with the WvW achievements, the free transfers, the server cap, the queues, etc… People are just doing what they need to do to be able to get the rewards ArenaNet came up with.
Warriors will be fine and still be the best class overall in this game
Agreed. It will still be the devs’ favorite class.
I find the skins pretty ugly so I don’t care about ranking anymore.
3 weeks later - no merchant for blade shards

To me that merchant just seems like an afterthought.
Don’t expect another living story update in the next few months. We’ve been told they were taking a break (probably to analyze what has happened, how the players reacted and what to do next).
2 years…have hardly played anything else. Guardians are simply the best.
They’re not the best. They’re balanced. Right in the middle. Not the worst, not the best.
Maybe not warrior but I will try to find another class to play as my main.
Considering how well guardians are doing in all aspects of the game, they didn’t want to build on what is already doing great. They specifically stated they wanted to test new waters with more interesting guardian traits, these traits are not to directly supplement the current meta builds, but give alternative routes in different game types.
The condition guardian will add a lot more flavor to the mix of classes we see in WvW and SPvP, while we’ll see alternate bunker specs as well using massive amounts of HP from the Vitality trait. This opens up more build possibilities, making certain lines more attractive if some players enjoyed some of the higher tier minors already, but couldn’t justify going deep enough for them in their build’s goal.
I’m okay with these changes as guardians are extremely strong right now, some would argue OP (in pve atleast) but I would argue that’s more of a content issue than a class issue. Also keep in mind that not all changes need to move a class towards being world-record speed run viable, as that play style is more of a make-shift end game we’ve come up with due to lack of end game content.
You have to realize that we’re sacrifing a lot of stuff for a condition that doesn’t stack and can just be cleansed easily. That means guardians in PvP will not play burning builds.
Also, bosses are almost immune to conditions. That means guardians in PvE will not play burning builds.
So, where is this burning build going to be used exactly?
the changes are good changes,
at least guards don’t get a sigil on grandmaster trait….
The guardian traits won’t be used. So I don’t see how they’re good.
One of the reasons I wanted to play the guardian is because the spirit weapons were unique. But there’s really no reason to use them. So I am very sad that the devs didn’t even try to make them viable.
IMO, when you’re starting to level ANY class, it’s power power power.
I’m one of the last main guardians in my guild.
I’m also thinking of switching to another class.
Honestly, I think I’m just gonna try to get used to playing another class.
Every time I hear them talk about the guardian, all I can think is: BORING.
Nobody is gonna play a burning guardian.
When will the Blade Shard merchant appear?

While I agree that not many people post it on the forums, it was also posted as a link in the game client to follow and read before entering the game.
I don’t think it was.
Go on, go to the launcher. You can see the history of everything that was posted lately. Nothing about the end of the vendors in there.
I want giant cannons.
Kindof dangerous to have nothing for 10days

That’s ok, I have titanfall.
Welcome to RNGNet.
I’m on Fort Ranik. We always kill the knight a few seconds before the end of the 15 minutes. So yeah, thanks a lot for fixing the bug… I guess…
Again, the solution would have been: tokens.
Anet want people to play. The more you play, the more you get tokens and the less people get frustrated by crappy loots.
If you want to give the items some kind of rarity, just make it so people really have to be careful what they choose to exchange them for. make it so that nobody could humanely buy all of the items.
How many patches did they have for this living story? Six.
The LS was released six days ago.
RNG is RNG is RNG
Honestly if you just De-tour because you see a single guy running and you feel the need to steamroll him with 25 guys….Un-Install.
Red is dead.
Killing a solo roamer or small group when you’re in a large group?
Of course you have to do it. So what if they don’t stand a chance? If you don’t kill them maybe they’ll take a tower 3 minutes later. Maybe they’re bringing supply to another group. Maybe they’re scouting. Every single enemy you kill is a tactical advantage.
If you want to play fair, just go play chess or something.
No one’s interested in low RNG probabilities when they can get guaranteed loot.
“Guaranteed loot”?
When you craft an item yourself, the chance of having the item at the end is 100%.
I can craft full ascended ten times over before I EVER get a drop.
This.
The drop rates in this game are so abysmal that it’s just faster to craft.
And if you ever get a drop, you might not get the stats you want.
Was that an satisfying ending? **SPOILERS**
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Zanshin.5379
In my opinion, no, it was not satisfying.
I look at it like a TV show.
Sure, if there is a season 2 then there should be a cliffhanger at the end of season 1.
But there also need to be closure as to what happened during season1.
If I want to complete the event, I need to guest to another server.
IMO, that’s not how the game should be played.
What makes me sad is that if you’re ranked 6th-9th of your group, you don’t even get enough tickets for one weapon. You have to wait for the NEXT tournament.
Trolls allowed under "play how you want"?

That’s called harassing. Take a screenshot or make a video and report the player(s).
for those complaining about deleting them, imo your fault. you should no better by now. anet is always pulling rabbits out of their hat.
Not “always”.
For instance Kiel and Evon badges never had another use.
Yeah, could have told us a little sooner.
