Everyone who wants everyone to get rewards, what should the incentive be for winning?
What is winning exactly? Being on a server that has 2-3 times the coverage of others?
Night capping? Server stacking?
Winning would mean something if the tournament was fair.
It is not.
By rewarding unfairness ArenaNet is actually telling us to move to bigger servers. Therefore creating even more imbalance.
I am on Fort Ranik. Because of this season our WvW guilds have decided to move to bigger servers, just so that they can have a fighting chance. For those staying (like me), this means our WvW maps will be almost empty.
So yeah, good job Anet.
I understand that but wouldn’t it make sense that a skin that you have bought with real money wouldn’t require charges at all? I don’t know, this just seems logic to me.
We’ve reported this problem since the beginning of megaservers.
We haven’t heard one word about it from Anet.
I wish they would go slower and have better Quality Control.
I’ve been wondering for some time.
Gemstore outfits don’t use transmutation charges.
Zenith, Radiant, Hellfire, don’t use charges.
Why do gemstore armors, that we bought with hard earned money, use charges?

The sellers always tell you the site address, so why doesn’t ANet maintain a filter list for those? Additionally, if you message the site to anyone you automatically get banned (maybe temp 72hr first, perma second). That list would be a lot easier for ANet to maintain than investigating gold-seller reports.
Because the list is going to inflate instantly. For example, if the gold site was Gold.com (it’s not, it’s a redirect to Kay’s Jewelers store site), you’d need to include:

- gold.c0m
- g0ld.com
- g0ld.c0m
- go1d.com
- go1d.c0m
- g01d.com
- g01d.c0m
- go|d.com

- gold dot com

They’re just words. In this day and age it’s not a problem at all to manage a huge list of names. Heck, my Windows Host file itself contains a crapload of these.
You think a server can’t manage a filter with a hundred thousand names in it? This is not 1980.
Warrior + Conditions is all you need.

PUG’s on EU servers are worse.
We speak severals languages and therefore we try to communicate in english to make things simpler. Problem is a big part of europeans don’t even speak basic english…

I think you may of been misinformed. There is no mixing of skins. The glow at night from the Ghastly weapons is part of the skin. If you put a new skin on it you loss that glow.
Then you need to ask yourself how I got the Zenith staff on the picture to glow xD
You still don’t get the glow from the Ghastly weapon. It just bugs the new skin. The Zenith staff always has a glow.

The Zenith staff always has a glow but applied on a Ascalon staff, the effect will be much more visible at night.
We never know when Anet will decide to fix that, though.

If you transmute a skin with visual effects on an Ascalon weapon, at night the effect of the second skin will be multiplied.

It wouldn’t be so hard if there were no bugs like:
- My character clearly being outside of the AoE but still getting hit.
- A shadow exploding on the other side of the ring and killing me.
I guess they’ll fix the bugs for next year.

I just think that for just one boss of an event that comes once a year, going for full exos is a little expensive.
condis are also the way to get the 8 orb achievment as warrior.
Yes, I did 8 orbs with this build in rare condi with ascended berserker trinkets.
If someone is having trouble, either with normally or 8 orbs, get full exotic (CM, TA, HOTW & Arah vendors). Amulets & Accessories are super cheap on TP (amulet is ~2g, accessories at ~1.3g) but the ring is a little more expensive (~5g)
I do want to say that you really need that Energy sigil though, especially for 8 orbs.
Seems a little expensive just for one boss.

Sometimes the medic will just stand there not doing anything.

Get used to it, I hear Living Story season 2 will have no loot at all.

The Marionette event is probably the only one that efficiently broke down the zerg and always had something for people to do.

For those who keep saying “hey, I beat her, it’s an easy fight”, get off your high horses. There is currently a bug where a shadow will kill without touching you. I just witnessed it right now.

I’ll say it again because everyday I see problems with this: Please take a good look at EU servers and realize that you cannot put germans, french, spanish, etc… on the same servers. It doesn’t work. People keep talking in their own language and we can’t understand each other.
I really need to learn how to play the TP… I can make like 2-3g after hours of research that I need to keep updated on constantly. I think my problem is patience.

I wonder what the prices would be if ANet announced that from tomorrow on the precursors and legendaries would be account-bound forever.
Obviously they would skyrocket before the change is applied BUT if they did that it also would mean they would give us the means to get them by ourselves. Something like the famous precursor hunt they’ve talked about more than a year ago.
You could buy a Foot Switch and use your feet instead of your left hand. Probably a big learning curve, though.

Played 2800 hours. Never got a single precursor. So I can’t even understand someone having all of the legendaries.
I simply don’t understand why a legendary item does not have an epic quest series acquisition, in a game that touts itself as anti-farm and focused on fantastic quests, events and happenings.
It’s what Anet wanted their game to be in the beginning. They have simply failed to make the game they wanted (remember the Manifesto).
Now, what I’m waiting for is a new set of legendaries, which can’t be bought and that we’d call “true” legendaries.

The problem is not the AI, it’s the mobs. Mobs are mobs, you have to kill them eventually. So the best strategy will always be to kill them the fastest possible.
If you want diversity, you need to include phases where you don’t have to kill mobs and therefore where the most important thing would not be DPS.
If I didn’t have a lot of time to play GW2, I’d prioritize playing with my guild: guild missions, guild wvw, etc…
Here’s a serious suggestion: remove the megaservers…
