Warrior all the way and thief if you are masoshist like me . I don’t like
buffing my party outside of dis banner and " For Great Justice!!!".
If you like being selfish pick warrior if not then guardian . I’ve
only seen like 5 eles in my life using FGS so I don’t know what a
pro ele can do :S , pretty sure warr still better DPS if you don’t
use FGS against a wall .
And anyway , war 20k hp in zerk gear , ele 10k hp ? Why struggling
when there’s an easy road …
He probably wasent even PVT, because after 2800 a thief can’t hit
more than 6k backstab and yes he probably was dead because the thief
didn’t even spam HS to finish him . That means he didin’t have
any vitality unless he is an ele . Even ele full ascended PVT can
get 21k hp easely .
Warrior is more fun , you have the mobility to enjoy the game more .
Moving around faster in any content is always better . That’s why I will never
make any other professions than warrior and thief . Guardian is
is kind of a half-warrior . Lower dmg , condi removal,mobility
and defense . Mesmer is different but still … 0 mobility.
Picking guardian for healing would make no sense in PVe
because you need damage only and for pvp heal based
builds are weak because there no dmg , you can only
Tank 1 person , that’s all you can do with a heal build
( I tryed playing guardian , deleted after a week , not
fun to me )
I agree on this one , I have 800 hours and my warr and I still can
tell that it’s on the top . Some people are obviously clueless and will
cry OMG he just hit me for 10k and he regen for 2000hp a second and
some warriors will defend it too much , like l2p we are not that
strong : thief is better because they have stealth and bla bla bla .
They need to make warrior skillbased instead of passive stuff
like cleansing ire and healing signet . Having these two already
reduces player’s thinking by 50%.
Pro eles can win , maybe you need to learn your class a bit more .
I never said backstab hits for 2k , I said maybe whiners want
it to hit for 2k for a perfect balance . As I said S\F burst ele
is beter because it’s a RANGED burst . I don’t even play ele
and I know it’s strong in the hands of a GOOD player .

2k armor and 10k hp . And warriors yes the healing signet
allows you to faceroll stuff and the cleansing ire but if they fix
warrior necro would be OP . They need to nerf their signet only.
Well because in PvE you will use stacking methods to melee the boss,
ranging him will take forever because the party will be spread out and
the ranged damage in gw2 is garbage. That’s why it’s much
better greatsword and axe\mace . And your party will probably get
angry if you use longbow in dungeons and you might get kicked .
Pve builds don’t work in PvP , I tryed trust me it’s garbage . You cqn use
longbow with a power or condi build , power is better if you take a hammer
On weapon swap .

30\25\0\0\15> pve greatsword\ axe+mace
Pve longbow is garbage , people use it only for the fire field ,
then they switch back .

If we think about it , warrior is kind of balanced : great sustain
defense, condition removal , damage and mobility . The problem is
no other classes can have everything . And the skill vs reward

to counter an average\ below-average warrior . They need
To make give a better sustain to other classes to be able
To survive and eventually kill a warrior . Conditions builds
are not a counter because of cleansing ire and zerker stance
and heavy burst build have no sustain . Once the warrior
manages to survive\counter the main burst , the person becomes
a free kill . So yea the problem is the lack of sustain of other classes.

it takes heavy burst damage from a very skilled player to take down
a below average warrior player

This spirit build isa complete borefest . I don’t how people are doing to play it. Even the stun OP warr is somehow more enjoyable. I mean comon 11111 spam on SB …..
I leveled up my warrior in CoF P1 in about 3 days. You can spam CoF1 p1 over and over and swap characters at the end. Smooth and easy . It works with SE P1 aswell, shortest path of the game. If you do it with a zerk party you can easely get 80 in 3 days.
No, the best way to troll people is to kill them and leave them in the downed state.

If you’re party has tank BS builds switch to full PVT set and camp with LB. If they ask why you’re doing it tell them why they are using tank set. I did once when a guardian started the dungeon and he started to brag about how he keeps us alive with clerics.. Got tiered and switched full PVTand LB for that run.
pve= berserker mode
pvp = balanced builds , never go over 2800 armor because the damage reduction is poor after 2800. ITry to not go over 50% crit chance aswell because warrior has perma fury , the rest critical dmg.
pvp faceroll ez mode build: 0/10/30/0/30 hammer/LB
pve burst build: 30/25/0/0/15 GS and axe/mace
You can’t have a role in wvw because with 10k hp you might get one shooted by a little AoE. You know what to roll? Roll a warrior and your problems will be gone.
I do not play a burst build. I play a balanced build with 2700 armor. Never said berserker mode should win the fights but this cleric troll build crap has to be nerfed somehow.
Because level 80 is given to you in this game, you can just swap at the end…… Me personnally I’d rather have a clueless person that just started to play the game in my AC run than some1 with multiple 80 and refuse to swap. It’s just annoying. It’s like refusing to wear a gear when you have one.
Don’t give bad people the opportunity to surivive more with Tank Gear which they shouldn’t use already. It’s cool that some bosses one shot you no matter what gear you use, a terrible player still dies even with 30k hp and 3.5k armor which is great because it forces them to learn to play correctly.
