Comparisons to the backstage process of GW1 are irrelevant, since the lead developers from that game moved on from ArenaNet years ago. The GW2 team does have a select few of the old guard in its ranks, but a decade of musical chairs has jumbled their positions.

And we see it everyday. I know some of the old GW1 guys from Anet went to work on Wildstar. No idea if they all went there or others working on different games.

Agree, half an hour or more on higher servers without any notification but a visual message. I do need a drink from time to time or even get rid of the drink =)

Fow also has another problem, well more than one actualy. Coverage in the weekend is somehow always low. I like to think we have lots of party people on the server that enjoy weekends too much to game.
Also we have a nice group of what seems to be oppertunists. When we face a server of the same class as WSR and Vabbi they come in and join. When we go against a next tier or like this week a few tiers higher none of them join.
So see [jd], you will see [WvW] and some single guild joiners but the rest seems to be gone. I hope on monday the new transfered guilds will start to join again so we can atleast give them some competition.

The worst thing about it is they are really bad players(not all of them of course). So used to the blob that 2-1 is an easy fight for me. Unless they ran. :/ I’ve never seen a vabbi player run from me

Remove rezzing in enemy borderlands. Bigger maps or more spread out, same thing I guess.

The idea is ok, but the theory in practise will just be more people buying the commander tag.
If we get to set the servers dedicated commanders somewhere I would agree.

Last week yeah, this week no. Major blowout because we do not have the numbers to go up against highest of the bronze league.

Asking if I want to see a good thief play? Yes, no music please but explain what you do is much better imo. Too many music edited vids already.
Some roaming is nice, but also what you do when a zerg is around would be nice to see.

This is more like the pve skills in gw1. And we all know they changed the game completly.

wvw is melee friendly, you cannot outburst someone like that with a ranger or necro. Accept it and go with the flow.

So this week is blowout week according to the wvw ranking map. To be expected.

More respect to any legend player from wsr and vabbi. If I see one of you I think twice before attacking you because you earned it. In the blobs of drakkar you get bronze legend just by walking into keeps with the blob.

Not yet, but we have a plan and, barring a setback, it will be in before the end of the year. Keep in mind, the solution we are rolling out is just a general solution to make it feasible to make them without running fractals, not necessarily a WvW focused solution.

Can you offer any information on your ideas behind that? Will it be a item that will just replace the fractal item in the mystic forge? Also is it going to be a item that can be obtained through regular game play and not force people to run particular content?

It will be and it will fall in line with the other Ascended crafted gear. I don’t want to talk specifics until we are locked in, but the idea would be that you can relatively easily acquire the item that is replacing the fractal item. You will still be able to use the fractal items as well.

If you don’t want to put in the work for an ascended backpiece, then don’t and stick with exotic. It’s not a huge boost in stats, but if you want it, it’s already not that hard to get.

But that’s just it, insane amount of work in pve, people here like to do wvw much more than chopping forrests and be one of the seven dwarfs.

That necro was awesome, I just noticed some guy complaining about him in the comments and I dont agree with that guy at all. Most impressive part was the beginning with the mesmer and ele.

The darkpath claw goes way too slow for me to catch up on anything with movement speed.

I think its time for HC guilds to try to play with some unwritten rules.
This is my idea:
Bronze league —> 5 – 15 people
Silver league --> 15 – 30 people
Gold League —> 30+ people

VCabbi gets RoS and the dza blob all at once, I would not go as far as call them lucky =)

EB is lagging like crazy right now. Why do people not understand that it’s not the higher tiers that lag, it’s the giant zergs… most of which consist of the very people that complain about it!

PvE people come into WvW for achievements —> get addicted --> more WvW people. Sure, not 100% of the people who are achievement hunting will stay, but even 10% staying will be great!

Worked for me, I had to do world completion and decided to try just one fight in wvw. Hooked from then on.

HT did a few shouts looking for new members. They do not seem to mass recruit and probably do not want to. Also you have to have very speficic chars to join.
I don’t really care if people want to leave fow they leave anyway. Also they are a very specific type of guild the way they play the game, not all people will like that.

Agreed Lchan, it’s tactics. You know now those people who the commanders shout to do not chase? Well they are not all listening and chasing that poor little group or solo players and get demolished when they realize the zerg isnt right behind them.

The obscuring of target models by particle effects in this game are the worst I’ve seen. There’s a megadestroyer in there somewhere, you can sort of see his leg. This is with the option selected to make targets more visible.

Hahah if you did not tell it was the megadestroyer I would have thought it was the fire elemental.

I guess there is really two ways to look at this, If a class can do it then surely mesmers using portals is the same.

Portals should be line of sight and not up and over two walls and baam zerg comes in to Stonemist.

So if mesmers aren’t treated as exploiters then neither should these, because its a skill after all.

I don’t agree with it, either mesmers using portals or warriors/ele’s leaping in jenny’s/thiefs using bows into SM.

It’s gona happen, and Anet aren’t gona do nothing about it clearly.

If they cared this would have been patched before leagues.

you got your response before the season started. don’t stack on server’s. feel free to look it up in devon’s post history.

Nice try, I am on the lowest tier and it’s unplayable at times. You can even feel the difference in playing without encountering a blob.

Wall fishing, it’s not a ‘catch & release’ program.

I do that all the time, how else are I am any use to defend if I do not take a risk once in a while.
