I think it would work a whole lot better if Death Shroud was removed. Instead, have the minons as F1 to F4, so they don’t hog up utility slots. This way, people would actually use them in game.
I just finished fighting a Molten vet and his crew. I guess no one bothered to tell them the event was over. Shiverpeaks region, starting norn map.

Replace Reanimator with a vigor boon.
Buff axe slightly to make it worthwhile.
Rearrange the trait trees so that they make sense.
Make minions look like undead, not tentacle monsters.

Lotro: Playable instruments.
CoH and CO: The costume creator. I’d LOVE a fantasy MMO where you have a permanent appearance that is not changed by your gear.
WoW and Lotro: Fishing.
Every other MMO: The ability to change my UI.
I prefer mostly soldiers, with maybe either berserkers or carnage on some pieces. Toughness and Power are paramount.

Not sure I want to budge on the golem. I really like the idea of having one, at least in pve. I might use something else for wvw though.
1. Cleaving attack. Bleeds.
2. Leaping attack. Boon corrupter.
3. Crippling attack.
4. Life Steal of some kind.
5. Whirlybird.
They have balanced dungeons against level 80s, ignoring the “minimum required level” that they list in game. Terrible design decision.

Anything I’m missing here? Should I change some specs, or is it ok overall. This is for pve, and I might do some wve, but that is entirely secondary.

I think I’m going dagger/focus power well build. Do I really need targetable wells, since I’m going to be in melee a lot and have low mobility?
I like the staff, but I’d have to go 20 points into Death Magic to make it worthwhile. Since Wells are power-based, I’m thinking the Dagger is my best option, followed by the Axe. Any opinions on this?
Those 20 points could be better spent elsewhere, is my main hang-up.

I’m hoping that somehow a dev sees this thread and forwards it to the bug-fixers. I suspect there are a number of broken traits that really do need attention, and they may not be aware of all of them.
Is there any trait you really dislike while building your character? For my necro, it’s Reanimator. WHY do I have to summon a minion in order to be good with a staff?
I don’t use them. I know certain ones are great when combined with epidemic, but I’m not speccing for conditions.
Reanimator needs to be changed to some kind of boon. Summoning a minion as a required trait in order to get Staff cooldowns is a terrible idea.
The Trading Post needs a drastic overhaul. If nothing else, fix this issue and also remove all of the permanent bids for items that are less than I can actually sell an item for. There are tons of permanent one copper bids clogging up the system for no reason.
I know it’s easy to just nerf a class that is op in pvp (and which usually kills at least one perfectly fine pve build). How about buffing underpowered classes, instead. I’m pretty sure everyone can agree that necros, engineers, and rangers need buffed. If they are given some boosts here and there, the game overall will be much better.
Raise the level cap to 5000. All end-game complaints will disappear!

You’d think someone at anet was competent with UI stuff and tab-targeting. Sadly, no one is. It feels like they got a first year CS grad to do both.
I think you underestimate how much other people hate thieves in wvw.
The UI for this game is crap. Sad but true. I love just about every other part of the game, but the actual interface is awful.
If agony is added to the open world, I’ll probably quit playing. It’s a terrible mechanic.

Greataxe and being able to use a spear while on land.

I like asura, but I shelved mine because I got sick of their weapons shrinking to toy size any time they were sheathed.

I think the OP is wrong. If someone has the gold to buy a Legendary (and the prices are crazy high), then they should be allowed to do so, as long as someone else is willing to sell it.

I do agree that build diversity sucks in this game. And with every patch, anet manages to kill at least one or two builds for at least one class (engineer has lost a LOT of good builds since February).
This is a great idea. I really need crystals more than stones at this point. Probably not going to happen, though, as I suspect crystals are one of the better money-makers.
I would love to hide the personal story quest and the temporary content quest on my UI. Please allow me to do so.
I really don’t like the current policy of temporary content, but we may be stuck with it.
