I agree with Rozbuska, a lot of engineers try to go steampunk or cyberpunk with magitech armor etc, so i went with a uniform style looking armor i picked up from a dungeon that looks quite nice imo. Plus a nice musket from human cultural vendor(would prefer the golden rifle from CM but I’m too lazy). And to top it off a got a mask that is noticeable. And to the OP just try to find a theme that you like, the heart of the mists has all the armor you can preview, that is where i come up with my outfits. Good Luck!

I have a heck of a time coming up with good names that aren’t already taken. Other than just using something boring like “Engineer Bob”. Anyone have some cool ideas for engineer names?

Now that dungeons are not worth farming, I’m stuck with a huge zerg of 80s running from champ to champ in Queensdale. Lord forbid you kill a champ out of the order they are running in. Lots of “nice” comments in Map chat if you do.
here’s a question, why are you running around in queensdale getting maybe an orange box when you could be running around in frostgorge getting all orange boxes, not to mention loadstones and t6 mats. and actual old exotics.

I wouldn’t care if this kind of screw-up was a one-time thing. With Anet, it’s EVERY SINGLE PATCH. They break something major, every freaking time! And you know why, because they apparently have no QC team. For a million dollar business, that is inexcusable.
Anyone have a current, good sword/shield build, for use in pve and maybe some dungeons and wvw (though not a lot of either)? I’d probably use rifle as off-hand, so I’d get some ranged ability.
I’m wondering if anyone has done a recent look at the various weapon combos. Is mace off-hand good, sword condition or power, etc. I’m not super interested in greatsword, as it has been over-examined to death.
After ascended gear, we’ll get a 5 level max level increase. Then Dominator Gear! Then maybe a new race, combined with 5 more levels (all the way to 90!). Following this will be Godly Gear!
Most of the “This is OP!” threads have zero basis in reality. They are usually L2P problems. Please do everyone a favor and just lock them immediately.
You guys need to watch the movie “Troy” and then make spears available on land. You already have the models, so a good chunk of the work is already done.
Sample ideas:
One-handed:
1 – jab/jab/thrust. Causes bleeds.
2 – trip with good damage.
3 – whirl spear for aoe.
Two- handed:
1 – jab/jab/thrust. Causes bleeds.
2 – trip with good damage.
3 – whirl spear for aoe.
4 – hurl spear for ranged damage.
5 – leaping thrust. gap closer with high damage.
I have to say I like all of them. The odds of anet spending one more penny on things like hairstyles are probably about the same as you or I winning a big lottery, though.
