Honor
Meh pick – Adept traits are trash. Limited options for Master. You would only pick this if you want the Minors and a Grand Master.

Minor
Vigorous Precision — I like where this is at.
Selfless Daring — I like where this is at.
Purity of Body — This is ok, pretty boring.
__________________________________________________________________
Not much to add, I feel they’re in a pretty good spot.

Adept
Invigorating Bullwark — Really opens up mace options! Love to see how this would go. Even though in PvE you would opt for more damage, maybe with new and harder encounters this will become more interesting. Healing power in general feels lack luster, except for the scaling on Selfless Daring… which it’s in the same line with, thus synergises… so it’s definitely an interesting thing to go for… but in the current state of PvE this is not good.
Protective Reviver — Merge this with Strength of the Fallen.
Protector’s Impact — Ugh. Only useful for jumping puzzles. I don’t think these will do much for anyone in normal play which is why I think they’re bad.
__________________________________________________________________
So if you’re not using a mace, there’s no valid option here. Really poor choices here. Please do something about it!

Master
Honorable Staff — I like that it increases all boon durations, and not just boons you get via staff skills. Although I feel that the staff boons could get an additional 20% increase to make them more impactful.
Pure of Heart — Sad it’s only via Aegis and not just a block. Pretty bland option.
Empowering Might — Might duration is too short to make it viable. It will only skew with might stacking and will be very counter productive.
__________________________________________________________________
Again, no real good options unless you run a specific weapon. Please take a deeper look at this!

Grand Master
Pure of Voice — Prime example of what a build defining Grand Master should be. This feels like it belongs here.
Writ of Persistance — Feels out of place, would’ve loved to see this in Zeal (without the healing aspect). Although it would definitely be nice to have. Feels good in a Grand Master slot.
Force of Will — Supporty style kinda thing going on. Seems like it’ll end up being a good choice for a Grand Master in Honor if support is needed. Which, right now, is not needed too much.
__________________________________________________________________
Not too sure how these will end up.

Valor
Poor pick. This whole line seems like something you’ll absolutely want to skip for PvE. I really have no idea why you would choose this here. Poor build diversity and poor options all together. If you want Altruistic Healing, you’ll fall down the pit of chosing bad stuff to get there again…

Minor
Valorous Defence — Same criticism as Zealout’s speed, except that you would use this for survivability, so there’s no reason to trigger it on purpose. Although it’s sad you might not see it used at all if you’re a skillful guardian.
Courageous Return — You get more defense after you revive or rally. Too situational. Which is why I feel this shouldn’t be a minor.
Might of the Protector — Pretty straight forward. This feels at home in the Valor specialization.
__________________________________________________________________
I’m really not happy with having to get in specific situations to trigger minor traits. It doesn’t feel rewarding and it doesn’t promote skillful play.

Adept
Strength of the Fallen — This just feels really weird, why are these two linked together all of a sudden? Doesn’t seem strong enough.
Smiter’s Boon — Seems like a cool thing to have for sure. Can synergise with other skills.
Focus Mastery — Makes sense this is moved into a defensive line. Feels like a good place.
__________________________________________________________________
There needs to be a valid third option here. Strength of the Fallen is super lackluster. The other two can be pretty good for a defensive line.

Master
Stalwart Defender — Boring and shield is still bad even with this.
Strength in Numbers — Only decent in PvP / WvW.
Communal Defenses — This one feels good for where it is.
__________________________________________________________________
Only 1 option. Where’s my diversity? Stalwart defender relies on using a bad weapon and doesn’t do anything to make it good. Strength in numbers is very lackluster for PvE, look at how much impact Spotter / Empowered Allies has. This is the complete opposite.

Grand Master
Altruistic Healing — Feels like it belongs here. Happy with where it is.
Monk’s Focus — Oh my, PvP meditation players rejoice! Also feels pretty good for PvE.
Retributive Armor — Feels out of place for PvE, I’m not too sure how this one will end up and I’m curious to see.
__________________________________________________________________
Definitely some choices to make here for a defensive guardian. Overall, the whole line seems more aimed towards PvP/WvW and not so much PvE.

Radiance
Overall Impression – Strong Pick. Super lackluster Grand Masters, and some things feel really out of place for PvE. In a better place compared to Zeal diversity wise, but still not in the right spot. You’ll want to be burning your foes for days! Really big difference in power in some of these options.

Minor
Justice is Blind — Has nice functionality.
Renewed Justice — Only good if you’re going through trash mobs. Boring / bland functionality. On kill is not fun.
Radiant Power — Seems like this would be a better option as something you want to choose, and not necessarily a minor. Definitely big potential.
__________________________________________________________________
They feel weird and out of place for PvE. On kill effect is definitely either Hit or Miss for situational use, which is why it’d serve better as an option. Why not give something meaningful and then move it to the Adept line instead of Healer’s Retribution? Radiant Power seems really strong.

Adept
Healer’s Retribution — Is this a joke? Why is this still in game? Bad beyond reason.
Inner Fire — Promotes good play, keeping stacks of burning on enemies (either by you or your team) is rewarding you. A lot better than the previous (gain fury when you burn).
Right-Hand Strength — More like Sword Strength. Why is it only for sword? Aside from that, nice crit chance increase if you’re using 1h weapons. If you’re already getting fury from your party (ele blast – warrior shout) then this is a good option for 1h users.
__________________________________________________________________
First thought was power creep crit chance on 1h weapons. Fury + Radiant Power + Right Handed Strength. That’s a 60% crit chance, on top of your base stats. Aside from that if you don’t run 1h weapons and you have fury from your party… there’s no third option.

Master
Wrath of Justice — This seems pretty cool for PvP. PvE, not so much. ICD scaling with Virtue of Justice cooldown pretty please? Would make it a lot more streamlined. ICD goes against the second minor that already feel odd. Why not just make the Virtue of Justice active immobilise enemies? Feels really odd to tie it together with a signet active, when that signet active is only immobilise. Confuses and reduces clarity.
Retribution — More damage during retaliation. Pretty straight forward.
Radiant Fire — Torch offhand would be really strong with this. Was really hoping for some kind of love like this for the shield / focus / scepter somewhere.
__________________________________________________________________
Really liking Radiant Fire’s thought. Even if you don’t have a torch offhand it still feels like a very good option to take over retribution. Wrath of justice feels very out of place for PvE. Maybe even if you carry over the signet passive if Wrath of Justice is up. Anyhow, that one definitely could use some tweaks.

Grand Master
Amplified Wrath — Ah, there it is! Why was this moved again? Pretty cool that blocks burn foes is incorporated. Solid option on first glance, has nice synergy options. As well as the new burn stacks might actually make the burn damage increase more significant (although I would argue that for PvE it will still feel lackluster, and in PvP 33% is fine… Makes me curious if you ever tried just to amplify it to 50-100% for PvE and see if it’s too much or not, I wouldn’t be too surprised if it felt more appropriate that way).
Perfect Inscriptions — Was really hoping for signet passives to remain active. Inscribed signet not incorporated with this sadly. Signets would still feel underwhelming with this.
Radiant Retaliation — Still just as bad as always. No reason to take this, even if you’re full condition damage. Can we get something else?
__________________________________________________________________
They all feel underwhelming and not build defining for PvE. Pretty lackluster for Grand Masters. With some tweaks Amplified Wrath and Perfect Inscriptions could be really difficult choices over eachother and the latter could make you want to use signets if it did have that extra Umph. Overall still nothing you actually really want in here.

Thank you to all the people who will take their time to read this and give their attention to it. Please note that all of the following is my personal take on how I feel a guardian should be. All of the following is focussed primarily on the PvE side of a guardian.
I will be going over every single thing a guardian has to offer.

Zeal
Overall impression – Strong pick. Not enough build diversity possible.
Both Minor and Grand Master (with 1 exception) are lack luster.

Minor
Zealout’s Speed — Kind of sad having something that only activates on low (50%) health, this means there’s no reliable way to trigger it unless you want to be taking damage. Feels counter productive.
Symbolic Exposure — Extremely boring and on top of that very bad. Feels like something that should be in the base of symbols. Really sad to see this one hasn’t been changed to something fun. Duration is too short and can skew up vulnerability stacking.
Symbolic Power — This seems in line with the Zeal specialization.
__________________________________________________________________
2 minors that feel out of place. These definitely need to be looked at!

Adept
Wrathful Spirit — Underwhelming. Only triggers on Aegis and not blocks makes it too niche. Retaliation is not that great in PvE.
Fiery Wrath — The light shines bright with this one. I don’t see why you would choose any of the other 2 over this one.
Zealous Scepter — Scepter auto attacks are still super annoying. Both slow, hard to hit, and on top of that not even too rewarding when they do hit. Only synergises if you wield a torch offhand. Seems very niche as you need both a large hitbox enemy + close range combat. Where’s the 10% damage increase?
__________________________________________________________________
No good options in Adept as Zealous Scepter is too niche, and Wrathful Spirit is just simply bad/boring.

Master
Binding Jeopardy — A good trait you would want to take, has synergy with lots of weapons to give a nice vulnerability stacking mechanism.
Zealous Blade — If you run greatsword as a main weapon, this is a pretty straight forward choice. Lower cooldown, more damage, heal seems out of place in a zeal line.
Kindled Zeal — Condition damage on a guardian feels out of place. Feels like it should just buff burning damage by 25%, longer burns, or something along those lines. Maybe also reduce cooldown on skills that cause burning, maybe do something more for a focus or shield (as torch gets love in Radiance already).
__________________________________________________________________
Only real choice is Binding Jeopardy vs Zealous Blade. Both give decent options, feels like a – if vuln stacking is needed take Binding Jeopardy, if not take Zealous Blade.
Issue: If you already have nice vulnerability stacking, and you don’t run a greatsword, there is no valid third option.

Grand Master
Expeditious Spirit — Spirit weapons need more love. This won’t be enough to get them to a nice spot. The actives feel underwhelming. I’ll go over Spirit weapons further on. Where’s the spirit weapon damage increase?
Shattered Aegis — Feels really out of place for a Grand Master option. It feels lackluster for such a prominent spot. It was barely taken as a minor, why shove it into a major without any changes?
Symbolic Avenger — Feels like the opposite of Shattered Aegis. If you’re going to be utilizing symbols, you’ll definitely want this.
__________________________________________________________________
2 Extremely out of place options, leaving you with only Symbolic Avenger.
Odd not to see it compete with something like symbol duration increased, or grant might while in a symbol… or at least something worth choosing.

What's fun about lost rewards?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

I’m thinking it’s a huge overreaction and it’s not that big of deal.
For example, for all I care an Bloodstone Shard can be replaced by 200x Scroll of Knowledge. Works out fine.
Same with all other things like crystals and philosopher stones.
The value of a Siege Master Guide and the Value of a Crystal are inherently already interlocked as you need Skill Points to buy them. They can simple choose to remove that buying proces, or you use a different currency. As long as they use the same rate it’s all fine. In the end, you get the same result.

Or in other words, I don’t think they are going to change in value.

stop posting, you didn’t read a word or understand it.

3 lines PERIOD 1 line max ALWAYS 2nd line is only maxed if you choose not to spend evenly on the last line and 2nd, that’s not really a choice, one line is always gonna be max and the other lines will either be even 5s or you lessen one to 4 to max a 2nd its not a true diversity.

You’re wrong is what everyone is telling you. Re-read the article. 3 lines, yes… that’s what I said. You will unlock all 9 major traits. You will have 6/6/6 once you’ve unlocked it via the new Hero System. It’s right in the article.
Every line is maxed.

So you are saying you want to be a special snowflake with a 14/14/14/14/14 build? Traits needed an overhaul years ago. Game balance needed an overhaul 3 years ago. This is potentially all good news.

clearly you got it completely wrong, only an idiot wants to max all lines on a wide line choice.

What anet is doing is confining us to 3 lines, and those lines automatically are maxed or near maxed depending on whether you want 5/6/5 or 6/6/4 and options in each line is extremely limited, there won’t be any originality in builds nor diversity.

You pick 3 lines now. There’s no chosing of how many points to put in. It’s always 6/6/6. Your choise now lies in which specializations you run and what traits you pick in the line.

You should re-read the whole articles, as clearly you’ve misinterpreted the first things they said already.

Yes, it limits choises. But your choises are more meaningful than they are now, thus actually giving more viable choises in the end. That is their idea.

Is the NPE worth no new races?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: eekzie.5640

eekzie.5640

I don’t think the amount of resources the NPE cost is even remotely close to how enormous of a task it would be to add another race… so this discussion is kind of pointless.

Also, I think it would be bad lowering quality of the game by simplifying the basics for that race.

So no, I would not. Even though I’m definitely not a fan of the NPE.

Challenging content and looking forward.

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: eekzie.5640

eekzie.5640

First off let me start off with saying that I really like the current direction that ‘group-content’ is going. Starting from Tequatl, through aetherblade attacks, marionette, triple trouble, dry top, and throught the silverwaste events, I feel we’ve come a long way in how group content can work. And I really am looking for more challenging content.

That being said, my biggest concern with the ‘more challenging’ content that is set out to come out with the Heart of Thorns expansion is one that we can already see in game.

Coming from my perspective as a fairly avid gamer, certain things are easier to me than others. The biggest issue I have with challenging content in game right now (lets take the Three Headed Wurm) is that the actual encounter is actually far from challenging. The biggest difficulty lays in organising the encounter.
This is not something I enjoy, I don’t like it when the only reason you fail is because you don’t have the proper people and you can’t do anything about it. I hate the whole concept of having to organise an instance just so you don’t have people with the wrong mindset.

I think the biggest issue here lays in ‘responsibilities’. People often feel safe in numbers, whether that’s being part of dealing damage to tequatl or popping bubbles in The Silverwastes. Oh, other people will do it, there’s plenty of them to do it. I often find myself clearing the beach, and hurrying to stomp grub holes because other people are too busy auto attacking a champion at the mega laser.

I truly hope there’s going to be a system to allow for a more engaging mechanism where you can clearly communicate, organise, and structure a fight. I remember even the simplest task as splitting in 3 groups for the three headed wurm was a complete nightmare.

I really hope there will be some sort of way to incorporate structures and tasks into GW2. Whether that’s having someone focussed on boon removal, poison upkeep, raw damage, protection upkeep… whatever, as long as it’s managable. But the problem is that when you scale this up it keeps getting more and more of a challenge based on organisation.

Even something as simple as a player counter could work, so that you can see that there’s only 1 person at the north battery stomping grubs while there’s 50 people at the mega laser.

I really look forward to having challenging encounters and having to puzzle with other people how to overcome them, but I feel so demoralised when you can do whatever part of that puzzle with ease and you’re still not getting it together as other parts are failing over and over again.
That isn’t challenging to me, that’s just agony.

I would rather just have new/more armor types

If you really want to minimise your RNG, you can roll clovers 1 by 1. It’s more intensive, but your result should be closer to the 30%. At that point you can still be lucky/unlucky… but it’s a lot less likely for either of those.

I’m trying to look for a decent IP and it doesn’t really matter where.
Most recently I’ve been trying to find nice Silver Waste zones.
Before that Dry Top for instance.
It’s really irrelevant where you do it, but it happen anywhere.

I make an LFG saying that I’m looking for a map with certain specifics.
Silverwastes during the breach or during the labyrinth phase or with lots of people. Doesn’t matter.

What happens next is what is making it impossible for me to find a proper IP.
People join me. They join me in my map. Then they leave the party.
For no reason they join the IP I’m on and I have to setup another LFG.
Well guess what? Same thing happens. 1-4 people join me, leave.
And now after a couple of times I can’t post up an LFG anymore.

This happens so frequently and there’s nothing I can do about it except not make an LFG but to look for other people posting that they need more people.
It’s just sad people are griefing and they probably aren’t even realising it.

I often ask them why they joined me and they ignore and leave.
I wouldn’t be annoyed if it was a rare occurance, but it just happens so frequently that I’m not sure what to do about it.

Time to refocus and clarify GW2's goals?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: eekzie.5640

eekzie.5640

At a glance all I’m seeing is the same old, same old. Maybes won’t cut it. Let’s wait and see? I waited, and I haven’t seen yet. Until there’s a lot more clarity on what exactly is going on, I don’t see any reason to hang around. Waiting. Waiting might work as a game mechanic for browser-based games – for an MMO however, not so much.

Seriously, what’s your cut off? If you guys don’t want to continue waiting, when you are going to say enough is enough? What is the absolute deadline for Anet to get back to us? Or are deadlines only applicable to Anet?

Many have been waiting for 2 years and have reached their limit. I know that I have. I really want to play GW2 but it just isn’t fun anymore.
Anet has the old saying that it is done when it is done™, so really it is pretty much useless to ask for a timeframe.

Maybe it is useless to ask for a timeframe. But still, this entire concept of communicating in a manner that players want revolves around an unspecified interval of communication. Right now, Anet’s stated goal is to tell us what we want to know based on an internal, clandestine schedule. We’ll never know anything until they decide to tell us. What I’ve been hearing is that some of us want, not only direct communication explaining future plans, but we want that information ASAP, not some unspecified later time. Anet plans things out months (as evidenced by stated living story development timelines) and possibly even years in advance. Things can and often do change during development, and some players want to be appraised of almost every change as it happens so we aren’t surprised by anything. Is that reasonable in an “iterative design” environment that Anet touts to use? Do we really want to be informed every time they go back to the drawing board on things we want? Would leaving that sort of communication out be ok? I can guarantee you, no matter how you answer these questions, there will be some sub-faction that always will want more than the last and will be happy to continue the crusade when a compromise is reached. It is still worth fleshing out these details though so they at least have something more concrete to go on than don’t hide anything and tell us everything.

Not so much that we want to know everything, but some more realistic perspective on what’s to come would be nice. After LS:S2 we have no idea. Which is pretty much a couple more weeks.

As well as a lot of things that have been said that they were working on it, some updates on it would be nice. Those things go back all the way to 2012 on several topics.
Pretty much all of the ’’we’re working on it in the background’’ is unknown. Does this mean we will not see any of it in a short timeline? Should we not expect something then let us know.

This is a sweeping statement that is difficult to analyze. Which feature pack. What specific element is broken? How is it broken? Are you certain that whatever was broken remains broken? (IOW, are you tracking bug fixes, etc?)

-sniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip-

Whoa, ask and you shall receive O.o Nice!

Just hope I didn’t put too much of my personal opinion in the couple posts. Tried to give objective opinionised criticism, if that makes any sense to you. As in, general sentiment I picked up on the forum as well as objective criticism.

And why wouldn’t we (players) be open to questions when we expect the same from anet?

Personally not really feeling that it’s important for SW, but it seems like a nice way to go about actually rebuilding LA and not just waiting around to see if it changes.

Aside from the criticism, there’s still several features simply missing from the game. Thinking of it, maybe a CDI on that would be good for the game.
If I give my perspective on those things I know there will be bias in them so I will refrain myself from doing so at this point.

Ok, I can’t leave this one out. Biggest personal disappointment since launch is the lack of UI custimization (skill bar placement and such) and first person view.

  • Wardrobe
Some decent UI improvements, always good.
Previewing finishers we can all be happy about.
Miniatures following their roots from GW1.
If it aint broken, don’t fix it. But apparently you wanted to do it differently for no reason and now you’re coming back to it.
I feel really bad for achievement point hunters who haven’t done this prior to this update. Really poorly handled there.
  • Achievements
Item collections. Or should I say shopping list?
Pretty much that’s what it is, and I’m disappointed as it’s a nice system that could’ve been so much nicer. Rewards are lackluster for majority of the collections as well.
Some of the newly added ones (looking at you luminescent) are generally well implemented. Although I have to ask, why change what aint broken again with the story not giving out the glove boxes? Inconsistency for no reason.
Aside from that some UI overhauling that’s done nicely.
  • Trading Post
Overall in a better place. Although I do feel that the UI is still massively cluttered, it does give more and better information. Finally search functions (light/medium/heavy) that were removed from the TP for no reason, that people have wanted since release.
Better search function overall, but still not user friendly. Especially when you’re switching between buy/sell/transactions and you were searching for things.
Also finally added ways to properly search for items that you previously couldn’t search for. Still scratching my head over why this wasn’t in the game before.
  • Miscellaneous
Instance owner. A much needed change. Put on the right track but still far from the destination. I’ve already expressed myself that there should be a better system on top of this to prevent people from abusing the kick function.
Some back-end updates to increase performance. Always good.
Loot drops being tweaked. I am sincerely disappointed in how this works. Or why it even exists.
First off it’s hardly noticable and should not have been an issue if the rewards from leveling up and personal story were in a better place. Second it simply just gives better loot to certain professions.
Special new rare/exotic items that I personally didn’t care about. Very annoying to have them drop for me on a level 80 when I already have all professions at level 80 and very little desire to start leveling a new character.
Item’s got their names fixed after transmutation. Yay.

Overall very disappointing as again, so many of these things should not have been an issue in the first place. And this time we have nothing really fancy such as the wardrobe function. I don’t think it had substantial performance, portability, or functionality increases that it justify it being such a big deal PR wise. Which is why so many people feel disappointed. Especially when you’re giving them names that have so much potential that people start speculating crazily. Only to get disappointed when the changes have absolutely no noticable effect for them ever and that the topic names were glorified. Sadly the item collection just has so many things done wrong that I can’t be too happy about it.

September 2014 Feature Pack

  • Combat log
Much needed improvements to visibility of what happens during combat.
There’s still underlying issues of several attacks not being telegraphed at all or very poorly.
  • Standard enemy models
Only available in certain modes. Makes no sense as you want people to prepare for them, yet you take away vital tools that people really want. Aside from that, something that a competitive game should’ve had since release.
  • PvP-exclusive armor
Nice building upon the reward track to give PvP some shinies.
‘’The Glorious Hero’s set is a top-tier reward for certain competitive tournaments’’
What happened to that again exactly? Right, already backtracking on that.
But I agree an exclusive armor should not be too exclusive or stuck in one place.
  • Commander
Something that should’ve been account bound since release.
More colors for more distinctive commanders, finally.
The cost can never be too expensive, so it’s in a decent place right now.
It gives a nice platform to add more ‘prestige’ colors, if that’s even considered.
  • WvW
Some golem line that doesn’t have too significant of an impact.
More consumables that I’ll never care about.
  • Balance Changes
There were some decent changes in here, although luckily through up front communication mesmer disasters were prevented. With the commander changes, two typical examples of how communication should go. Give us enough time to give feedback so that you don’t put in fundamentally broken aspects.
Still several things that are far from perfect and still many skills/traits not in a useful state.
  • New Runes and Sigils
More things to not care about.
Fix your old stuff before adding more please.
  • Guilds
Should’ve had this from release, but it’s something that’s really good.
Some megaserver things changed for guild missions. Personally haven’t had issues with that before, but it seems like it could help.
  • Crafting
Some crafting updates to make it easier to craft the final recipe.
UI is still really messy, especially with regards to items you never want to craft again anyway. Still a very non-userfriendly system, made better.
Some backpieces added that I don’t care about, but I can’t speak for others on this one.
  • New Player Experience
    Where to start?
Generally on the right track. Several things still in weird places. Mostly in regards to traits.
Level up rewards are mostly advice. Especially if you’ve already gone through it once you just feel like you’re part of a bad joke.
I’ll keep it short and just say that experience players just feel shafted and that there should have been a clear distinction in game between experienced and new players regarding how content is presented to them.
Personal story messed up for no reason (level 70 / 80). Aside from it being super easy now cause you are always overleveled.
Some really wonky scaling issues will hopefully get smoothened.

  • Megaserver system
I think it was a very wise decision to get this done at that time. Personally really positive about it, even though it has some big negative effects (RP / easy zerg worldbosses).
But, we’re still missing a proper que system that can’t be cheated on. Again, something that’s been missing since release.
  • World bosses
Personally like it, even though there’s several pro’s and cons to it. This I feel is a pure judgement call and I’m not in the position to judge whether it worked out how you envisioned.
Bigger issue is that many of them are still just easy mindless zerg fests.
  • Waypoints
Pretty much all of this from the feature pack has been revisioned, for better. Still think the contested waypoint system is in a bad spot right now, waypoints in general are in a pretty bad spot to be quite honest.
  • Guilds and World versus World
Can’t really remember what these changes were supposed to be.
  • Open world champions
Feeling pretty neutral about it. Better scaling is always good.
Still several issues with scaling persist (biggest examples being: slow to downscale, upscaling when it shouldn’t happen)
  • Miscellaneous
Free armor repair. I still think the whole concept of repairing armor is a bit outdated. Running back from a waypoint is enough of a punishment in my opinion.
Balanced gold from champ bags. Sure.
Daily AP capped to 10k and monthly to 5k. Brilliant. No need for achievement hunters to log on every day to do every achievement. Really nice.
