I like conquest i just wished there was different maps and maybe a 3 vs 3 or 8 vs 8 ranked matches for more randomness. Me and 3 other friends watched the live twitch and the other 3 said that pvp was turning into moba/ league of legends which i dont want. I played league a long time ago and didnt play long cause i didnt like it. What i really liked in gw2 was the ability to make my character anything i want. You want dps ranger, you can make it. You want a dps ele you can make it and with the right team players these classes can be effective. What i thought made the game special was figuring out as a team who the non bunker character was. In other games you know the warrior/guardian is the bunker and the ele is the healer. I will wait for the new changes to come and judge it later but speaking for myself i love the gw2 pvp as is but just wanted more and different ways of winning.

If i could say i loved the cinematic at the end, bringing the story in together. I wished all the storys had a brief video of what you just did because simply put it was amazing. Seeing some of DE fighting, canach and trahearne. For me its hard to get into the story at times because it you spend so much time running around these areas not being redoing the same events. Also like the fight vs zhaitan, i felt liked we just walked in and killed him. In this video you see the planes crashing, people being slain, DE and other characters defending themselves.

The 2 most rewarding things for me in this game was killing scarlett, ( great video for that) and this living story. I really felt like were in a war for the first time because of that video. Killing scarlett, i dont know why but seeing my character down here was incredible. I hope in the future we get to down big bosses more that were involved in there living story. Like having 5 generals coming for the egg each with there own personality and a dungeon with each to reach and a personal story to kill them would be unreal.

I tailed off there but i just wanted to say i really appreciated the new living story and the video.

he just wants to pvp, he deosnt want stuff to fill his inventory. He doesnt want to make trips to merchants. He just wants a reward track that rewards him with little tid bits. As someone who sitting on tons or lvl up scrolls,tobs, 8 mini queen jennas and a bunch lvl to 20 scrolls.

I like the idea of reward tracks that reward lets just say 5g at the end of the track and 25 silver per quarter. Or a track that is blank because after the collections ap rewards from dungeons there is not a ton of incentive to play the tracks.

really? Never heard the word noob? Ive played everquest,ff11 online, diablo2,champions online and a few others and that is a the universal word. Soured of like soft in basketball or green in fighting.

Also of course the community overall isnt horrible but there are some very toxic players and they kind of get to go around whispering and ranting the worst things ever. Ive noticed a huge difference after pvp patch and thats just for me. Having been playing since pre. The Pvp community was so fun with people talking about different builds and what not. Obviously theres been a ton of change since people have found the meta builds, cheese builds, and the 1 person in a group builds. Just for me,the flood gates came down on that patch.

I never said there wasnt trash talking but there was less of it. Let me explain, practice mode is you being put into a certain arena where as before you got to pick which one. Also with it use to be mostly 8 vs 8, ranked tourneys and then paid ranked tourneys the set up was very different for everyone. The builds for everyone was different, the problem became farming glory. Before you can into toxic player guess what you can pick and switch to a different server where there are lots of people and 8 vs 7 there wasnt a huge problem in score like 4 vs 3. The other points are in my original post.

Also i think the trash talking is the same as wow, if you dont think so then you probably werent into it as much as the other people cause open world dueling and the ability for you to take over towns and turn new players or players you dont like into sheep was a point of interest for many. Also game like champions online people didnt share alot of builds so you had alot of you stole my build and you suck at it type of conversations.

I think the ability for new players to join a map that they dont choose is a problem. Me and my friends tested builds all the time but now you need to buy a custom arena for it. Forcing unknowing players entering the game about pvp into negative situations.

1- solo que

Alot of solo que players acted like that and because there is no solo que they complain to the ends of the earth. Force individual players to now think of a team perspective is now a bad thing. I solo qued yesterday and there were 2 thieves on my team talking crap to one another. 1 would go far to solo and the other would try to kill the beasts. Neither tried to help the players standing on the points so me and 1 and another ele were constantly getting 2 vs and 3 vs 1. Solo player mentalitys

2- Self entitled

Pvp titles,ranks,levels ahve been made easier for the casual player. Before the big pvp patch, the best players going into ranked games didnt talk any crap cause they expected to win. This is before they made the solo que as well. When you saw people with shark and pheonix finishers no one got mad if you lost. When you won though it was in mostly inspiring like yeah guys we can win this. Of course there was always a few omg your a shark rank and you suck but they were few and far.

3- The new groups coming in

Alot of my old pvp friends dont play after the big pvp patch since there was nothing left for them to do. They were 65+ level and everyone was just handed a dragon finisher and a legendary title. So the old teams who would of keep the new people in check. Your getting new people coming into pvp with some success now thinking they call the shots. Let me also mention these semi competitive groups who think they know it all. For instance i solo que and this group of 4 was queing and they would tell me to sit on home. So i did to be a nice player. They lost the fight at mid i left home to go to far and they got mad cause i left. We lost badly next game im teamed with them again. There comments to me before the match is dont lose it for us.

The pvp community died for me when they made it easy for everyone to get the dragon finisher cause everyone one of these new people coming in watching utube,twitch, and son for there builds think they no it all cause they watch some of the better players use these builds. People use rank in these forums to saying im level 40 why am i fighting level 80s when the truth is those level 80s would probaly be level 50 if they didnt change the pvp system.

Your comment above is why, they made pvp easier for the casual player. WvW is a different converstaion. Also i think its easier to get the WvW player kills then the pvp titles. When cd was a tier 2 server for that 2 week span. Me and 1 guild mate got over 300 pvp kills in that 2 weeks. We also focused on daily’s and spvp. We werent serious about it and they aslo had to change the wvw titles because people got the 10k player kills so fast.

Your talking 2 different things and both were changed. WvW titles were changed because people got them to quickly and pvp titles were changed because people complained that they would never get to dragon finisher and so on. Your asking for another title that many will complain they will never get.

Thats WvW, When the game first came out it it was 200 tourney wins to get champion titles. Now its 150 and since you beg to differ. At level 60 in pvp it took 150,000 glory to level. 60 to level 61 was 150,000. It is now 20,000 to level at any level.

Please if your going to compare thats fine but understand what pvp use to be as far as leveling went to what it is now. PvP has become another way of farming for the casual player. I seriously remember the team that i saw 5 level 70’s and when i first saw teh phenoix finisher. My bunker guardian got destroyed and when i saw that finisher i was like, WOW. Now i literally have no clue in pvp whos any good because any casual player can level up to dragon in a few weeks. It took me 1 year 8 or so months when that patched happened to get to level 55 and i do pvp everyday. Also i know people in tier 1 wvw servers who have those titles. The tier 1 and tier 2 servers for wvw are really really active where as the other servers will literally be dead at times. I dont know of anybody who made the dragon rank before that patch and then everyone had that rank.

I think that was the biggest problem, alot of solo ques who were on a solo leader board now have to que with teams and cant roam around. Also mostly solo que and i still win around 50% of my games. Also i saw onstrich eggs solo queing a few days ago and im pretty sure my team lost to his everytime even though the people he was with were average to say the least. It will take the community to get used to the ques but i for one dont miss solo que and i only hope the people get better at pvp or team up with 1-2 friends and quit being toxic if things dont go your way.

I agree there would need to be some serious calculations involved but atm there is no real bonuses to being in guilds. I feel guilds should have a pvp glory, wvw glory, and the pve glory. Cause right now my guild is a tiny guild with people who randomly come on. We cant run guild missions and we still have 150k on influence.

They want people to team up but there is literally no reason for us too. Everybody is just farming the game. This is a great game from most aspects. To me the big thing missing is that sense of team. If i left the guild right now, no worrys all the people i like are in my friends list. If i I decided not be in a guild no worrys, i lose 10mf. No biggie ive been playing for over 2 yrs. Something needed to be added from a fun team perspective.

I agree the leader board is smut, im not sure what there goal was. I give a for instance, when i joined as a solo que and so the absurd i was like kitten were gonna get handled. Its not like the guys i was with were bad we just werent as good. The new leader board i had to block fairy turret engy because she is almost telling people what to do and says stuff like i know what im doing your obviously trash. Next game i saw i was fighting her i made a point to go 1 vs 1 her and beat her.

All my point is the new leader board has given some serious ego to average players who play a ton. I truly believe the leader board should be a combo of the 2 leaderboards we have had. you have dieas on a new leaderboard asweel but you didnt say where you would like to see the focus.

I like to look at it like this, the way your talking. Your like a 2nd round draft pick in the nba and then you walk into the nba thinking people are gonna cater to you.

1) Alot of new people struggle because they ruined hot joins, its gonna be really hard for people to exact levels to find one another cause everything is a join.

2) Having a ranked and unranked has separated players with different mmr’s into 2 different groups.

3) To me this is the biggest problem, everyone on here has this college mentality where the majority people are these average college players. Then These big super teams have 4-5 nba players on there team running threw everyone which is true. The thing is the community isnt as big as a college league, so its the nba in the 80’s. Realistically theres only 4 of the 30 teams playing for the ring.

Win and losses are so crucial because its a team game and another favorite of mine is " if you want to crown them then crown, we knew who they are and we let them off the hook"

I for one would like a dueling area where i can use my ascended gear in the pve area. I dont mean open pve area but a legit area where i can ask people to duel. Like in hoelbrak where norns test there strength, it makes sense to me. Also there should be rules for it like you can only challenge people to duels in this area so you dont get those toxic people in pve.

I would also like guild rankings for pvp. It could be like a fun bonus where people can see which guilds have the most active pvp players. I also think it could lead up to potential guild vs guild match ups which would be fun for the community.

Some of the most fun i had in open world mmos was dueling people. When recruiting new players, there first thing that tends to happen when friends play together. They always ask how to duel one another. Also ive made more friends then foes with dueling. There needs to more group activities whether it be guild vs guild. I would like to see 3 vs 3. Instead of having 1 unranked and 1 ranked que. Why not have a 5 vs 5 rank and a 3 vs 3 rank. Also maybe a map control arena for larger goups like 8 vs 8 or 10 vs 10. Ultimately all im saying is its been over 2 years and we have had the same maps. ( 1 taken away, 3 added) I know other people have ideas and i would love to hear those aswell.

No im sorry the problem people are having now is that there not very good and getting crushed by other people. I was yolo queing at the end there cause me and a bunch of people i knew were waiting over 10 minutes a game for solo que. The only reasont hey stayed in solo que was cause they were ranked in the top 100 for solo que.

Lastly solo que had to many heros, average players who talked alot crap and couldnt win the 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 to win a match. As much as people might not like it now but this set up is legit. You play real teams in real matches, if you want a cookie cutter game where your matched up with someone at your exact skill level go play hello kitty adventures. This is pvp, seriously some of you are kwame brown and others are jordans. Some teams are the spurs and guess what there is always gonna be a pug team and there called the knicks. No matter what you do, whether its a real pick game in the streets or in a competitive video game. The odds will never ever be prefect for you to play against a team at your exact level.

Ummm i disagree, at the end there i was having to face ostrich eggs, zoose and other top tier solo que players and if they werent on i was waiting for 8 minutes plus. Im sorry i wont play this game again. Being a above averge player i enjoy the challenge of fighting pre-mades as a solo que player.

Also i dont know your guys skill level but as a guy who mostly solo ques or plays with 1 friend. I would have a win rate of over 55% if i played on my best character and didnt goof around with boon removing necros and mesmers. Not to mention im terrible at thief which took forever to get a win in rank que.

Lol i am finding a bit funny, like if i put all my gear into boon stacking why should i lose my boons?

Let me state again i used a few different utility skills and different combos and none were effective at a high level. I made a necro for boon removal and i couldnt take them off fast enough and the condi replacement for them were immediately taken off by the better players. I was facing some of the better pre-made teams when i was doing this and literally there was no aspect of the match i could help my team in.

Also sidenote, eles just running out to start the fight can stack over 7 might, swiftness, protection in the 10 sec in pre fight. I had to use all my utility skills wait for reset and i still had no chance vs boon stacking characters as they sat in my wells. Literally a ele and warrior sat in my wells in the cap point and were still able to stack 20 might and fury.

People saying i made a boon character why should i lose all the boons? Reason why is i made a character to fight your type of class and not only is it ineffective, i dont even give the support in team fights that these warriors,guardians and eles do. Not to mention i had to wait like 30-60 seconds just to do the condi dmg that they immediately remove anyways.

I went for wells to see the potential for boon removal/ replacement of condi damage. I also wanted to see the potential in group fights where the most stacking of boons are. Mostly this was a test for overall team fights. To be honest i found a solo build in boon removal/ condi damage to not be good enough in a 2vs2. So lets say were fighting a guardian and ele in a 2 vs 2 on point. They would be contantly booning each other and removing boons with every shout and eles condi removals. With a solo condi attack they would lose all condi dmg within seconds. With wells i felt the potential to take control of the spot was there. Unfortunately i found out that wells are just really bad in the point they dont really do enough dmg to make them a legit utility skills vs other players. I also tried your necro build some what and i just dont think it holds up vs the better builds and players but was tons better then the wells condi/bunker i tried to make and axe dps/bunker.

To answer and defend some things,

No i havent posted any of my builds online though i have been asked. There are so many people who post stuff and i find most of them silly and i just didnt want to be in there.

Also these builds arent open to other play styles, i think this games pvp is great is because if you can find your style of play with the right traits and sigils you can compete vs anyone. When i do everything right on that ranger i can beat anyone except necros. On that ele build i can beat anyone but the best d/d ele and rifle engineers. Also they have to be really good, some new person just running meta isnt going to beat me.

Lastly turret is a cookie build but i dont blame anyone for it, its a build a new person can come into the game and be successful. I mean it can be hard to come up with a good build and compete vs good players. I dont want anet to hand over pvp to the new players coming in but i dont want the new players to not have a chance.

Just my thoughts on it, thanks everyone

I went 6-0 in 1 vs 1 turret engy in the last 2 days. I did them all in ranked, i ran far to points to face them. Im sharing this cause im just curious on what people are doing when engaging. I also think everyone should know i solo qued and in each match we won since we at least had a 2 cap. I dont run the meta so i will share.

Im sharing my builds because i see people are very frustrated on this forum and in the game. I dont know how else to help because i feel people are complaining that there builds dont work. It doesnt matter if you feel its a cheese build its about can you beat them and quickly move to help and come back to make sure they dont uncap.

Also with that ele build i have beaten most of the d/d eles, the ranger build is a good build for all situations. I use Fire trap/sharpen stones/ entangle, i share that to because this build is all about timing. Your spamming 1 until you think the moment arrives where you press 4 to cripple. Then you unleash all the condi utility skills and elte skill and then you hit 5 to daze making sure they take at least 3 sec of all of them. You can down any thief or mesmer in 5 sec when done right.

Hope this helps or at least gives ideas for people struggling, have fun everyone

Taking beast at beginning in Ranked

When we run a team, 1 person goes home 1 to beast, 2 to mid and 1 to far. The person home goes to help with beast and usually we do pretty well. The 2 we send to mid are the bunkers. If you have good players you run with a system the beast is a big boost. Sometimes we get 3 cap and basically own the game. Since we got a 3 cap and bonus from beast if everything goes right.

I would like to see the leader board like this-

1)Wins mean something because thats the point of fighting

2)Having the appropriate points rewarded for the type of match. So a guy solo playing with a 60% win rate is the same as a 3 team group who wins 75% and a 5 team group who wins 95%. It makes sense to keep good solo players high on a leader board who can carry average players and it makes sense for really good teams to be at the top.

3) Include death match in ranked games

4) no solo ques, Im sorry but there are so many people who run aroudn not giving a hoot about the team just as long as they get to do what they want. In solo que people would talk crap and be like look i have 200 pts what did you do and that needs to be rid of.

5) having average games per day. I dont care what the amount is but someone with a 200-150 record isnt the same is a guy going 40-5. The 40-5 shouldnt be near the top if the rest of the players have played 200+ games.

Just some food for thought on a leader board i would like to see.

Boon removal

I tried using a boon removal with mesmer and necro. I went full mind wreck with boon removal and invisibilty and the boon removal didnt really do anything so felt like a wasted utility skill. i think it literally took swift and stabilty and left the fury and 10 stacks of might.

The necro was horrible, i use wells with staff and for what ever reason i couldnt remvoe the boons fast enough. I would literally remove a boon or turn a boon into a coni and then he would remove the condi and start stacking again. I have to say i was super excited to see the warrior in my well that turns boons into condi’s and then literally went to wow im dead. His 25 stacks of might turned into 2 bleeding i was like omg. Well anyways thought that was a problem and i just want people and anet know that when making a condi/boon removal character. I dont think its a good character to use in pvp.

I would like that too, i would of also liked having pvp titles and finishers mean something but anet wanted everyone to have dragon finishers. They want everyone to have the legendary champion title. What your asking is gonna take time and anet doesnt want there players to have to grind/work/try/learn how to do anything new or some what difficult.

Consistently Bad Teams?

I dont know what time you que for unranked, but i did a few matches and honestly wasnt worth the waiting. I killed a thief who came to home and right after a mesmer attacked me and i didnt heal and my utility skills were still restting. I killed him too, now these people were at around the same skill level my friends were at cause we killed 3 unranked matches and then got crushed in 3 ranked matches.

All im saying is try to enjoy the match for what it is because your other option is to solo que in ranked. If your having fun 1 vs 1 or 2 vs2 then just enjoy that fight as oppose to worrying about your win/loss

I had a group who ran fractals, we got to 50 and they reset fractals and we kind of all quit doing fractals lol.

2 thing i wish they did for dungeons

1) keep the dungeons hard, the community for the most part are babies. When they first try things they cry then someone figures it out and tells the rest of the monkeys how to do it and then anet makes the game easier. All of a sudden me and 1 friend can do the all but the arah dungeon. When the game first game out it was a struggle but i enjoyed the challenge of finding people and completing a dungeon.

2) In game dungeon specials, for instance fighting the ac guy and the top of the stairs i believe is kholer. (sorry i havent done a dungeon for a real long time) If he had a mini or a special ammy or weapon that dropped. It would give people more reasons to do the dungeon. Or on fractals have a unique reward for getting to 20,30,40,50 something to show that this person took the time.

All in all i just find myself loggin in to do some pvp matches and getting off. Ive done almost everything i can do for the game and just looking for a challenge outside pvp and i couldnt find a group to do a dungeon so i thought i vent in here.

I disagree with both examples for both dont include what utilty skills> you basiacally say there op cause there base traits are better and the very thing that makes them unique is making this unfair in your opinion. Also example 2, as a great football player would say Ray lewis, “Man dont do his job do yours. Stay in your lane homie” If Your a pure dps character what are you doing trying to solo a bunker character. In theory you should lose since you didnt say what class you were therefore i assume your a dps mesmer who gettting hit with condi and no way to remove condtions. Also if your a thief go help someone out instead of trying to play hero mode. Its 5 vs 5 and not everyone can be superman. Someone has to be batman and actually just play support and out think the other team.

I dont know if its just me but i feel like people run less dungeons because of the pvp reward tracks. Someone asked me about week ago to run dungeons and i agreed and this was there group who ran dungeons together. They do that because its hard to find people for it now. Maybe its just cause i play at night but i find less people doing dungeons and fractals.

Ohh also i like the combination of solo and team que, for awhile at the end there i was waiting 5-10 min per match. I rather get womped (losing doesnt bother me, my team mates quiting and being toxic does) in a 2-3 min wait then wait 5-10 min again.

ummm i mostly disagree, i dont like the point system for a leaderboard. I prefer the older with maybe a few tweeks to were people solo queing or 2 people partys get more credit then 3+ partys for wins that way a guy who solo ques and wins 70% of his matches is the same as 3 party who wins 85% and a 5 party who win 99%.

Also death match is awesome, people dont like it because they dont want to ajust or try anything outside there build rotations. The community begs for something new and then rips everything because there so used to conquests. I would like them to add maybe arrow carts or cannons so there is less zerging but even if they didnt i find it great. Also dwayna forbid we get people who actually talk before the match starts which by the way its never about the match its always ahhh man we got dm.

I do agree with that other typles of playing styles should some how get a bette shot of winning. I disagree with you from the aspect of the new players. I dont think we should cater to new people coming in. Also the best players seem to take them out pretty easy with them on point or off.

All im trying to say is we cant nerf every class cause its cheese. yes i agree its easy to run a turret build and beat new people but its also easy for the good players to wipe them. Im trying to look at it from both sides and to be honest, i would like for some other builds to be viable in pvp.

hmmm i thought the point of gw2 pvp was that you could make any type of character you want and if done right it could be viable in pvp. The best part of guild wars pvp to me was suppose to be i could come up with a unique build and it could be a little different and still compete at the highest levels. A little sad to hear that ……

I found that i couldnt play d/d as well as the better d/d players. It literally took me 5 matches to find that out and i switch back to staff which is what ive been since pre and im much better vs the better players on staff then on d/d. All im saying is you should try all the different ele builds and finding what your most comfortable with before sticking to a certain weapon set and traits.

Ran into a problem yesterday where alot of people on my teams kept running far to fight the turret engy and lose and they would do it again. I find that the biggest problem with that build is that everyone complaining about it either knows there build cant beat it, havent practice against one and refuse to go against the meta. Worst part is they complain about it in map chat and name calling because there a turrent engy.

I ran some practice runs on what i thought would be a turret engy and i found lb or shortbow ranger it was pretty easy to kill him. Also necro also easy even when i ran a scepter focus. Just for fun we tried a zerker warrior who used stances. A 6-2-0-0-6build, lol that worked sometimes. I personally also ran into a thief who wiped me 3 times in 1 game and he was the only theif to even drop me on my turrent engy and he killed me each time in under a minute which i found amazing.

I checked some things cause i saw people on here calling them op and saying how do i beat one. I personally feel most people dont want to run anything that isnt meta because there are alot of toxic players. I wished i would of print screened it but i had 2 mesmers 2 rangers and me on my ele and we beat a 3 engy 1necro and 1 ranger team in ranked. All im saying is that if you feel your seeing to many people log in to engy you have to run a build which you know can compete with it. I literally dropped my friend with my shortbow condi ranger in about 30 sec with rune of the krait. I know its not a meta build and most find it unplayable vs other builds because it isnt as good for team fighting. Just throwing it out there that there are alternatives and you dont have to play the same build as everyone else in the game. i honestly find the biggest issue is people in this game dont know how to play in there lane. Everyone thinks there dps thief should be able to kill anything in 3 hits and there bunker guardian shouldnt die in 1vs fights. The community is failing to come up with other builds because the best players in the game dont struggle and stay in there lane when it comes to fighting these simply builds.

Death match has to picked by vote and it goes towards the reward path.

Also if you think dm is only like wvw it shows that you havent done much from a strategic point of view. For instance on my ele i used frost bow and we had 3 heavies and a thief. Me and the theif were friends so he said he would use shadow refuge and i bring frost bow. Our 3 heavies ran at there zerg and we went the other way and killed them all since they piled up in there corner.

2nd way we have countered, they ran toawrds us we all spread out running aroudn the map and gathered back at our home and 3 of us were in the thiefs shadow refuge. 1 person got downed and as there mini zerg when to finish him we attacked them. They werent ready and we killed 3 of there players to our 1.

Im sorry if you cant find ways to change your perspective on death match because you lack the overall ability doesnt mean it takes less strategy.

All i was saying is that ive seen some of the people queing up in ranked in the top 100 and me and my random group of friends have won against them.(lost a ton more) But we dont team speak. All i was trying to say was the gap on the leaderboard. You got people with 300 wins and 400 losses in the top 5 and you got this dude at around 500 ranked and he was 80-0.

Everyone is arguing ts right now and all i was saying was even those ts players your talking about have a few losses. This dude has a perfect record. Also i saw a guy at around ranked 900 with 35 wins and 1 loss. Im just saying this is a leaderboard not most fair, most fun equal grounds. I personally want to know that if i go into a match vs the top 50 players on the leaderboard. I should expect to lose and if i dont big ups to me cause i did something pretty cool. Right now i can honestly say i dont consider the top 100 players on the leader board a threat in 1 vs1 or 2vs 2 fights if i have good players around me pug or friend.

Im not the best vs turrent engineers but i do well with my stances warrior and my staff ele. I agree though some elite players just know how to kill turrent engineers. I had 1 match where i camped home and the other 4 went mid. This thief came to me everytime and beat me 3 times in this match it didnt take him longer then 1 minute to kill me. I was in shock since i had never lost to a thief on my turrent engineer. Also another person i lost to was this pure dps axe warrior. I hadnt seen many but he put on a stance where i couldnt apply condtions and then in like 3 hits he killed me.

I personally dont know a specific way to kill turrent engineers, all i know is that on certain classes i can beat a turrent engy and other classes i cant.

as someone who mostly solo ques, i try to take the lead on some of these fights. So if i see 3 coming home i try to hold as long as possible understanding my team will probably zerg back from mid so when i rez back i head to far to engage in a 1 vs 1 or free cap and i hold that.

All im saying is new players tend to play the same and it works for them since they probably struggle in 1vs1 and 2vs2. So me being a veteran i understand that will struggle and i have to be the person who scores the least amount of points on the team. Have some noob talk smack to me about how he scored 150 pts and i have 40. Knowing this i have around a 50% win rate when solo que. Obviously when i team up with friends or guild mates i win alot more. ALl im saying is if you feel your a good player you shouldnt expect people to do what you think the game should be played as. You can still win matches if you understand who your playing with.

I recently played a game where i capped hoem 3 went to beast, guess what they got 2 cap and those 3 went to mid. I ran to far and got a decap and the other person got a steal. Everyone on the team including me were killed in the next fights. Point is we had a 100-25 point lead till they triple capped us and we got spanked from there on out. All im saying you never know and the mm isnt perfect but if your going to continue pvp you need to understand that the new pvp players/wvw/ bad players will zerg and or not be able to hold spots.

I get that one and i get one were when me and some friends party up and go to a ranked game not all of us get into the ranked game. 2 days ago 1 person went into 1 ranked game, another friend went into another ranked game and i had to sit in the hotm. That was a first but it only happens when we first party up or first party que. Just some wierd things that happen i guess.

Really? Going 80-0 is easy, im sorry i solo que alot and ive played against some of those players and in the new system came close to giving them a loss but im surprised that someone could go 80-0 and your sitting here going easy.

There was a few times i got a full 5 of friends to play and though were not elite we went about 8-2. Were all pretty good players but we lost 1 game to poor rotations cause we dont t.s and 1 the other team was just better. This guy went 80-0 and your just like easy. Im a bit surprised, if you tell me you have 4 other friends who will play ranked games with you and you say we can go 80-0 easy. Lol im sorry i just get the feeling you guys are being a little jaded and just getting mad over the new pvp system. Seriously 80-0 easy?

I like to scroll threw it simply for fun and seeing where my friends have ranked. You see noscoc, dude is like 138-4. Not surprising but the one that got me. Mike.**** blackpacko if you look up his name is 80-0 in ranked matches. I have to say, finding some of the people ranked 200+ is impressive. LB aside 80-0 wow thats hard for anyone on any circumstance.

see and i agree there should be come sourd of ranked sytem not like the one we have. We have to many people split into ranked and unranked making it diffcult for people to have quality teams for competitive matches.

There is also no fix for bad players, they couldnt handle a opposing team zerging and you dont know if they ever will. When they had solo ques i constantly had the thief or mesmer run to far and fight the turrent engineer and lose as appose to fighting 5 vs 4 on the other 2 spots and then dps the engineer when he made a move off point.

Also i dont think the team you faced should be punished for being a pre-made or on team speak. You got handled because they were better. This is 5 vs 5 everyone if you win a 1 vs 1 for a point, not a big deal. Can you win the 2vs 2 and then move quickly to support another player attempting to take a spot and run back to the original spot?

The more you win the more likely you are to pay better players. If you party with 4 other people who are also good i dont think you should be penalized. If you like solo queing complain about not beable to fight on a equal ground but complaining about about win/loss ratio not making sense is stupid. I dont know who these people are but brianpeppers. has literally twice as many wins as does points and around 75%. I also saw some with over 50 wins and 4 losses. It nots fair to them from a leader board aspect to be ranked in the 750+ and its not fair for them for the community not to recognize the fact they are not losing.

I mostly solo que and my win rate is 50%, ive played against alot people who post on here complaining about stuff and im sorry there alot of ya are at average. I see why alot of you are having problems because your mmr is in a funky spot where you might play crappy players and dominate and then play against a great team 3-4 times because you should of been playing the crappy players. Its not the games fault either, there just isnt enough people at your level.

For instance, ill call him out. I played uberkong. and i was just messing with a thief build i only play in unranked. i went 5-6-0-0-3 with rune of the fighter. I engaged with his 1 vs 1 guardian. I went 1-2 vs him in solo fights. I personally dont think all of you can complain about the leader board when your average ang losing to average players.( I might be a below average thief)

I dont think it should be nerfed either but complain no matter what. So called cheese builds,op blah blah blah. I think whats happeneing is that every class keeps getting nerfed little by little so when people cant win fights with there main they call for a nerfed. For me the class in the worst postion is ranger and thief. Thief because your either full dps or your a decapper which leads to wide range. Also there is no real ranger build that could be used in comeptive play, cause they would get stomped if focused on. We will see what happens but hopefully everyone sees the trend of classes getting nerfed and slowly brought up again.

I think when everyone says op its because of the elite players. Of course your gonna beat people who are just kind of going threw the motions. I also use a staff ele and i know in about 10 sec if the opossing d/d ele is good. Also i lose to 90% of the time to good d/d eles. The problem for many is d/d is alot better then staff and scepter and focus so to be competitive there is truly only 1-2 builds that can be effective in a solo que.

Also your warrior comment i completely disagree, they have better survivability but there suppose to without invisibility and 2nd regen skills like guardian. To me the only op class engineer, when you got the best players against one another the only class you starting seeing multiples of are engineers. The nerfing of these other classes came because the newer players were getting thrashed and no matter what anet does that will happen unless they go turrent engineer which anyone can use but i dont think the class should get nerfed.
