Pro tip, every class has access to the same thing. And blocking 2 hits in an engagement through aegis, is not going to make up for 5k hp i am missing.

There needs to be other viable builds than full healer/full bunker with out this class being and feeling as squishy as playing a thief.

Your “decayed” leaderboard ranking is not used for matchmaking.

If you are rank100 but decayed to rank900. You will not be playing against other rank900 players, but rather rank100’s. (Assuming sufficient population)

Too bad anet doesn’t show you your hidden MMR values along with the rankings.

Play all of them, and you are required to use “default” builds for each profession.

New accounts require at least 10 matches played before you can appear on the leaderboard.

How about requiring at least 10 match played after dropping off the leaderboard from decay or X amount of time inactive before you can appear on leaderboard again.

Anet can keep their funky rating system, do 1 small change and at the same time encourage more play.

Just pick something, play it, if you like then stick with it until you get bored. Only you know what you like best. Unless you are asking which profession is most OP and easiest to play?

Unlike WvW, sPVP gear is mostly free with no startup cost.

They don’t need to change anything. Default are best!!!! cuz the dev set it.

• Any decay you accrued while being inactive is undone the first match you play.
• Those 200-300 people above your previous rank probably also have decay from inactivity which boost you up.
• Most active players have fallen below the hidden default start rating. So new accounts after just winning a handful of match gets

Decay needs to be permanent, but the devs argue that it makes match making difficult as they don’t have a true measure of skill once someone decays down.

IMO, it would be cool if they did weekly leaderboard and reward prizes. After each week you can carry over 1/2 of your rating to start off.

I understand the scale issues; just making sure there weren’t some misconceptions flying around. Most melee attacks have pretty large hit areas to make the game feel better with latency. I believe they’re bigger than the animations show for every race/scale. Especially to the sides.

I can’t think of a way to fix this off the top of my head without plastering ground decals all over the place or somehow making streak effects better show the attack arc. Any other ideas?

Asuran are small and hence must be rather lightweight.

They should be knocked back further from CC and take 5% more dmg.

Ye stealth pulling ppl who are allready fighting on sidepoints is such an advanced tactic + really hard to pull off … right??

I mean i know US ladder standards are relatively low. But do you guys really consider something that is so easy to pull off/ be succesfull at as “advanced”?

The adv part is knowing when to dodge/avoid/anticipate it instead of tunnel vision 1v1 on the cap point. You’re doing it wrong in skyhammer if you spend so long trying to win a cap that reinforcement comes to pull you.

The sad part is that if you play the game long enough you still hear them say it….. Even when the sound is mute.
