the supplies is definitely going down. But flippers obviously bought up a bunch(and probably most of it).
It’s like the wings of dwayna. It stays at 20 gold for a year. And after Anet release it again in wintersday. Price actually spike to 100 gold. (because people realize the supply is too small that they can monopolize).
You can’t really blame the flippers, because there just not much supplies injected in the economy everyday, so they can bought up a bunch and monopolize the market.

Its not really a stock market as its more an unregulated commodities market. And yes the timing of the post is suspect considering it comes near the upper range in price not when it was slowly rising.
If the OP really don’t know you can store items in TP, he know now. Better than using all those characters to store candy corn.
I think when GW2 have those 10$ sell, some of the items supply drop a bunch. Last sell, a bunch of leather is depleted. I bought some too.

I honestly don’t like this kind of post. Because I’m not sure if some people purposely make this kind of post just because they bought a bunch.
Most likely those people have 15k hp because they put points into vitality traits which boost their vitality by 300.
If they get the grandmaster traits force of will it’ll boost their vitality by 600 and they’ll have 18k hp.
If you are new to guardian and want a practice builds. I would suggest something like 2/4/0/6/2. (2)(6,10)(2, 10, 13)(1)
Getting 4 in radiance instead of 4 in zeal so you can practice spaming your vitues. If you need reflect switch out spirit-weapon-mastery and master of consecration.

Thank you for all the suggestions. What would you suggest for sigils and runes? Scholar? Dolyak? Obviously force, but what other would be good to go with my weapons?
all the popular build is on meta battle. Usually people use that as a template.
for runes I usually go with scholar or traveler. Sometimes those run speed helps. I think some people run pack or something for wvw roaming, metabattle should also list the variations.
sigil i usually go with force/air or force/fire. It’s a good all round sigil to use for all situation.
I think people use 3 knights for tanking.
So unless your purpose is to tank, I dont’ think you should use 3 knight.
If you really have prblem surviving in pve. Try to adjust your build around force of will. It basically boost your hp by 75 while sacrificing some dps. The trade of is much better than sacrificing gear IMO.
I’m perfectly fine with small guilds. And hope the guild halls wont’ be “harsh” for small guilds to obtain.
But I just want people to realize the amount of work to make a large guild is absurd (in comparison to getting some influence or merit). And it typically fall upon a few of the leadership. I just dont’ see why some of the small guild leader actually think large guild actually have it easy.

All of them. With small numbers, the main problem is finding them quickly enough.
Yes, basically this. Killing a single bounty is not the problem. If you don’t have 2 teams, though, you might easily run out of time killing both of them, even if you don’t waste too much of it on searching. And some bounties can easily take over 15 minutes of searching alone if you can’t zerg it.
you can just do trek if you want the merits. I would say if you have 6 people just getting the guild commendation is enough.
My guild actually spend 30 minutes to pre-find all the bounties before we start. To ensure we can do tier 3 and make sure all the people get credits.
why does it even matter. you can’t even afford dyes more than 1 gold.
The price only doubled. It’s not like those 200 gold dye is 1 gold before.
I’m not sure how many unidentified dye I have. I probably got 40 in 1 month. They still drop from black lion chest or level up rewards. I think they also drop from bags you get from personal story. So there are supplies. Just not supplies typical players can get unless they key farm or level up new toons.

I think they mentioned lineage 2. I didn’t play that game.
I also played another game which use a union system. Basically every union consists of 10 guilds of 50 people. So usually people hang in their own small guilds but when there is a large events, all 10 guilds group up. And people have the option to talk in guilds or nation etc.
It would be nice if GW2 have that kind of a system. The only thing Anet need to do is make an option for 2 guilds to share guild mission credits. So 2 small guilds can do guild mission together and both get credits.
I find it more of a events problem. Like small guilds have a problem complete guild missions etc. Also a merits problem since that’s something you can’t buy.
I don’t think the gold or influence etc is unreasonable. I don’t know why people keep complaining about they dont’ have the influence. Even my personal guild bank dont’ have a problem reaching tier 5.
The problem you should have is not enough influence to sustain much buffs. Because a few gold to unlock your track or buildings isn’t much, since you only need to do it once.

So after 100 days you’ll get a skin of your choosing if you run fractal 50 every day.

I just use 30% dodge food and sigil of energy if I really need it.
If you run fractal that much you should be able to get a few pieces. Complete the set become a problem though. I think some pieces drop less than others. I got a bunch of gloves, but chest is hard to find.
I hope Anet release the recipe again. Since I dont’ think a stats combo should be that expensive.

but just want to note professions specific drops probably only affect drops you get from monster kill.
just mix in a few cleric armor. Dont’ think it’ll make much difference.
There’s some hint Twisted Marionette might be brought back as guild events in the future. With some luck, maybe it’ll be back that time.

I keep getting pawned by warrior shooting rifle beams at me in wvw.
I haven’t have too much problem with other class. But I don’t roam much.
I think lvl20 still give copper. best to be lvl21 to be safe.
I think you can park a character at jumping puzzle. The character need to be around(21-30), try search google. Someone said the draop rate is only 5%. It’s probably still better than parking a character at mineral since you can salvage the items and mining takes time.
Trading post might be your best bet. Since 250 will take forever if you only rely on parked low level at jumping puzzle. Fortunately many other people do it too and sell the loot they got on the trading post.
You can also try opening bags or mystic forge. I never tried it before.

Anet should update the fractal rewards though, since it’s getting a bit out dated.
I know but i’m still hoping Arenanet finds a good use for relics and not just skill points.

Like you have 75k. Even if anet added fractal skins or ascended accessory, unless it is costly, it won’t make a dent to your 75k relics collection.
The real shame is the fact that there is a token-system in place, but it’s not being used to full effect. There should not only be the option to trade relics for rings, but also for all the other trinkets as well as the fractal skins. That way, you’d make steady reward progress. Extra drops such as ascended chests can still be left to RNG.
The thing is some people have “so many fractal relics”. Unless it is really costy. They’ll keep complaining they already have everything.
I mean the guy 3 post above this have 75k fractal relics. And if the person have 75k fractal relics he most likely have almost all the fractal skins too. So what exactly is Anet going to add?
fractal trinket? Unless he have like 30 alts like me, he probably dont’ need it. And if he dont’ have much alt, he probably don’t need ascended box too.

Record the evidence you can: time/date/screens. Videos if you can manage. Send in a ticket to ANet and let them review it. Stick to the facts and avoid hyperbole or dramatic background.
The way I see it is if someone is on a ranger. Who have guild drama against my guild. On the opposite end where everyone is stacking on the wall, on a ranger. That person is most likely a troll.
And no I dont’ think it’s easy to capture the video. Most likely the only video people can capture is he is away from the wall everyone is stacking. I dont’ even think anyone know he’s around untill the very end. And most likely he have some insider on our TS giving information when to come out and shoot the wurm.
It’s like the teq thing. you really expect people on a random map to capture random people pulling abno to the battery on a video? That being said, I dont’ think it’s easy to troll teq.
But the wurm thing probably, since for my limited wurm knowledge, I think the last phase, zerg usually stack on the wall and kiting the wurm to the wall. And if some trolls just stand on the opposite end and kite the wurm to the opposite end. It’s really easy to troll people.

well I think for wurm it’s because people know that person another guild. Who happens like to troll my guild. I think some drama happened when someone left my current guild and went to create their own guild.

I’ve been to a few events(teq/wurm) where a single troll almost made the events failed. (by luring monster to place where they shouldn’t be).
Is it a ban-able offence? and what is Anet stance on it. Like 1 single person ruining the fun of 100 people.
I find class matters a lot in organized speed runs.
But rarely matters in pug. Since the main reason pug went bad is people dont’ really know how to play.
Take for example, on average, my cof path 1 runs is usually faster when I play necro(or mesmer, but I dont’ play mesmer). Because people just dont’ know how to do the Boulder in the cof tunnel.
Actually the good rewards on fractal(to me) is a huge incentive I do them. You get karma(for legendary), chance of skins, rings, relics to buy things(backpiece, fractal bag), ascended box.
I actually dont’ like to do dungeon, because the rewards isn’t as good(to me), unless it is a premade speed run.
That being said, I have like 28 lvl80 so I need those fractal rings. And with like 50 gift of exploration, I just keep crafting legendaries(karma, skill point with relics).
I dont’ think fractal rewards is necessary bad. It’s just many people already get everything they wanted from fractals so they just dont’ have any more incentives. Like karma is good for legendary. I craft a bunch so karma is good for me, but probably not someone else. And skill point is good for promotion too, but many people dont’ know how to use them, so they end up hugging all the fractal relics.

I tested the theory if it is possible to run fractal38 everyday for a year and not get a skin. I ran it 100 million times and I get at least a skin every time.

well getting the skins you want is indeed difficult. I actually really want the swords that I’m missing.
I think someone is bored enough to run computer simulation on fractal drop. It might take 1000+ run to get the skins you want.
But you should get some skins if you run fractal for month. I’m not sure why people keep saying things like “Even doing a daily 38 everyday, it could easily mean no skin for several years”. I dont’ think statistically it is likely.
I dont’ have any compiler on my computer, but I’ll actually go find one and test it.

And what are you going to do after you get everything you wanted from fractal? Complain it don’t drop anything good like other people?

The fractal skin have a 10% drop rate at 31+. So it ain’t so bad.
I only done fractal for a few month and I’m already at 16 skins.
Obviously I do fractal almost everyday in the few month. So people that don’t do them often, might have a hard time getting them.
As you get more and more, you get a bunch of duplicate though. And it’ll take a while to complete the set.

I think it’s ok. But just realize 80% of the fractal is easy trash mobs that no pug have problem with. So you might as well use max dps for those.
Only use your creative builds for fight and boss you actually have problem with. And if you really want to tank, you need to have some toughness to grab agro(might change in expansion). Someone posted a cleric guardian guide in the dungeon forum a while ago. You might want to check it out.

i’m in NA server. usually play 1 or 2 hour after reset.
I just use lfg. like 50% of the time there is some pro who got bored and run people through aetherblade. So if you have some luck you’ll get good players that are able to help you through it.
the other 50% you are on your own. you probably can get through it, just take much longer with inexperienced player.
It shouldn’t take long to fill the group. But many people joining might be clueless. They dont’ know they joined one of the hardest dungeon in the game.

I suggest you just do the story dungeons until you are 80. People are pretty harsh in explorable mode.
For gearing. Just buy green gear with “strong” prefix. At around lvl60+ change to buy berserker gear.
If you don’t mind doing some map completion it is a fine way to level your first character.
Also try to learn as much as possible about what every weapon skill do. And try to use a vareity of weapons and learn what they do. It’ll come in handy later.

You dont’ seemed too happy with the group anyway. And it is only beginning of the dungeon so you don’t have much to loss. Maybe you leaving the group is a good solution to everyone.
People are pretty nice in GW2 and dont’ kick often. If I play like a noob, they usually remove theyself instead of kicking me. And if anyone dced. They usually wait a while before kicking.
I’m not sure if you waited, but if you didn’t you probably should wait for a while. And before you kick, ask if that person is a friend of anyone.
