Overclocking can lead to many unintended things like clocking to the point where the rig gets unstable (You will experience system crashes or/and stuttering), overheating and a bunch of other bi-products. In that case it has everything to do with the computer, and nothing to do with the game. But okay, ignore overclocking. People with stock high-end CPU’s still have FPS issues. I just picked the guy with the overclocked one to state a point.

Indeed, the point however is that it seems (at least at swift glance) that the majority of the people with high-end stuff that have FPS issues also have overclocked stuff. Which, based on earlier issues, could very well be a reason for them to have bad FPS while worse cards do not.

That I can’t answer, since I am NOT a software engineer, I simply remember many issues turning up earlier on (and might still do) on overclocked machines (and taking a swift look on the thread posted earlier here many of those that are actually having issues DO have overclocked stuff, so it is fully possible that the issue might lie somewhere there for some reason.)

Having the vote count viewable in real-time would solve nothing, since they could still modify the result if they already decided a winner.
It would also create issues if they found people exploiting and having to remove a certain number of votes and such.

You can’t assume everyone is having issues just because you do. And it is quite possible that a “better” setup would generate worse result simply because of the game being optimized differently than specifically for that hardware.

Getting around 10 FPS would most likely suggest that there is issues at your end, rather than at the games end, since people are reporting up to 40-50 FPS even in big zergs.

Quite funny how you can guarantee that an unfinished game will be able to do stuff like that without any impact (and it is also completely false, since there WILL ALWAYS be an impact on performance as long as the game actually uses internet access and such.

A 100% drop rate would not be common, it would be guaranteed.

I would suggest people read before actually going in spending money and then whining about not reading/understanding what they have spent money on.

ArenaNet have never even implied that the scraps would be almost guaranteed drops. Quite the contrary, they made it quite clear that a big part of the Key drops would be replaced by the scrap drops.
The keys had around 25% drop-rate based on research. Lets say they move that down to 10%, which would give the scraps about 15% chance to drop. Lets then add a few extra % since one can assume that it was not only the removed key % that was given as a chance for scraps.

That would mean it would probably be something around 20%, which is more or less 1 in 5 and that does seems to be quite close to what people have reported since the release, and that would most likely be considered common.

If we could join as a team everyone would need to join as a team in order to stand a chance.

If everyone have to “pug” everyone have the same starting point, rather than one side being superior due to being a group of well-coordinated friends.

How can something that is not even built be thrown in the garbage?
As of this time both the Fractals are simply ideas, nothing concrete has actually been built (unless ArenaNet are lying, which people here seems to assume about everything), it is still however fully possible to actually get said ideas/story/lore/whatever even without it being a Fractal.

That would still add the wanted story/whatever into the game, but at the same time wouldn’t diminish the voting.
