1: Ask for a mesmer to port you up if you can’t do it.

2: You don’t need to complete all the dailies. You can skip the Bell one if you can’t do it (it does seem very unlikely that you can do anything at all in the game if you can’t even hit a couple of the tones due to lag).

3: Due to it being repeatable it is possible that it will not register unless you successfully complete the whole thing at least once before. It is of course also possible that it is simply a bug. Those things happens after all.

Every single thing in the game will have parts of the players that will have issues for one reason or another. Does that mean they should basically not do anything?

Using Windows XP now is not a especially good idea, seeing as it is no longer supported and thus rather vulnerable.

Windows 8 was released in 2012. That is two years ago. Windows 10 will not be officially released until next year at the very earliest.

The commas between the different words can be changed to or. It does not need to be all of them. And the things people have been complaining about in this very thread is the fact they have to make special effort do do the achievements.

Getting Ascended Armor and Weapons via drops is not a realistic means of acquiring them. In fact, as a secondary means of getting this gear, it’s a kittening joke.

Doesn’t however change the fact that you CAN get them from there. My post was about people claiming that you COULD only get it from crafting, which is clearly factually incorrect, despite how low drop rate there is in the other places.

How are they trying to force you to PvP or WvW anymore than they try to force WvW:ers and PvP:ers to PvE?

You have 4 of each category. You need to complete 3 for the daily. It is rather unusual for the dailies to have more than 1 part you cannot in any way or form complete in PvE.

“Top equipment” would be ascended gear which can only be obtained by crafting it for yourself. So, no, it never had the ability to get the top equipment by playing how you want.

EDIT: Oh, apparently you can actually ALSO get them from PvP. So apparently you can get them for doing a grand total of everything in the game.

The wiki post mentions that you only get a Masterwork item and only random ingredients (meaning only cooking stuff), while Mawdrey has a chance to give you rares (got a few myself) and I hear even exotics, while also dropping mats of all sorts, not just for one profession. If this proves to be true, then this is inferior to Mawdrey. However, it’s only been out a day so the loot table maybe is not quite clear yet? I sure hope it’s the same as Mawdrey…

To be fair it is also much easier to get than Mawdrey.

To be fair there are 11 other achievements you can also do. And you only really need 3 of them for the AP.

EDIT above: While potentially true there are others that require certain things. Such as all but one of the WvW dailies.

If you face a opponent that basically doesn’t play WvW there will be no camps to capture, no enemies or guards to kill and no objects to defend.

I really wonder if all those people shouting about the “extreme lack of content” have ever actually played another MMO before.

And yet multiple of those disliking it appears to do so simply because they haven’t read the blog and/or patch notes, such as complaining about lack of Laurels and such.

On day 2 you get 1 laurel. On day 7 you get 10. On day 21 you get 15 and on day 28 you can choose laurels among a couple of other things.

As said in the pre-release blog the Laurels (and all earlier daily rewards) have been moved to the Login-reward system instead.

This has been done, and has worked. It only works if the entire map is participating and dealing decent damage though. You just whack on Tequatl, whack on the bone wall when it comes up, and make it to the first battery phase. Then you chain the second burn into second battery, and so on.

And yet if everyone just stacks on the foot the batteries will get destroyed before half of the first defend-phase and as such it would not be possible to chain the second burn and so on.

You are aware that all of the new maps (4 permanent as of this time) have been added via the Living Story, right?

Yes, since you are technically leaving the match/queue/whatever. They can’t really distinct between someone crashing/disconnecting and someone just pulling the plug on their network connection after all.

The daily log-in rewards are replacements for the daily achievement rewards, so I would say that it is very likely that they will be added at the same time.

The only thing they are talking about in the part you quoted now is the caps for said achievements, which should have nothing at all to do with the actual rewards.

So basically people that like the (possibly) less liked maps should never be allowed to play them in ranked play?

To be fair compared to most fights it isn’t really a DPS-fest.
In most fights you can just stand on the enemy and hit it until it dies. With Tequatl you actually have to organize and split up in order to complete it.

I just want the game to be better than what it is right now. Keep following this train of thought and this game will end up dead, after all the rabid fanboys chase off people that want to provide feedback.

If you love the game clearly you don’t dislike it. There are on the other hand people that have never done anything other than complain about every single thing in the game on these forums, which quite clearly shows that they really dislike the game and should just move on.

I played (and loved) Warcraft 1-3 and yet you don’t see me on the WoW forums complaining about how much it sucks and that they should change everything.

There is a rather large difference between providing feedback and simply hating everything. Many of the people that we see in basically every single thread doesn’t complaining doesn’t really provide any feedback. They just say that everything sucks, without giving any suggestion on how to fix it, or motivate why it sucks.

All I want for christmas is that people that clearly dislike the game moves on instead of constantly spamming these forums and let those of us that like it enjoy it and discuss things here.

You can purchase all missed chapters of Season 2 of the Living Story. Season 1 MIGHT be added in the future, but right now can’t be bought.
