Your comforting play comes at the cost of others not being able to play at all.
They wouldn’t play with me at all anyway because I don’t hesitate from kicking 60% of my party. So scrubbies will be angry and I will be angry. How’s fixing that not improving a comfort of play?
I learned as a kid that if all others are the problem, the solution can be found in fixing myself. If you feel the need to kick 60% of a group, _you_’re the problem, not those others.

Ignore Lord Kuru’s rant.
The game is very much fun. You can do dungeons, explore the world, do world bosses. Gathering weapons and armor is neither easy nor too time consuming.
Furthermore, making a new character is good fun. You’re pretty much safe to do whatever you like in this game.

Or that ANet is desperately trying to wrap completely random ideas together with a poorly written supervillain.
The fact is, if they just read what they’ve done themselves carefully, they can do the “this was our plan all along” thing as long as they want to, without us ever knowing about it.
But rest assured, if they slip, someone will see it and they will be caught red-handed.
Because Arena.net is flawless, and one tiny slip means they’re doomed. Doomed I tell ya.
Or maybe we should presume they’re humans with the same flaws and drives as you and me. You have flaws too, no? Imagine 300 people like you working together … a slip is inevitable.
Dunno. At this point, fitting the story to the mechanics is more important than fitting the mechanics to the story. Building a nice world is the primary objective, good storytelling will come with the second dragon.
You missed my point. You’re assuming ANet has pre-written all this stuff way back when Flame & Frost started. I’m saying they are making it up bit by bit as they go forward and just making it look like it was all tied together from the beginning.
Does it matter one way or another?
The “slip” here means they will introduce a tie, which someone will then prove it was conjured up later on because it contradicts something so clearly.
So a slip could reveal the thing everyone knows already. Boohoo. You’re making this slip into something that has any influence whatsoever. It is unimportant.
EDIT: And to clarify, I’m basing my assumption that they’re just making it up to the fact that no one, anywhere, had any clues in-game about Scarlet’s identity before she was introduced. Nothing. Yes, it could be a case of just lazy writing, but ANY good suspense story needs to have those hooks and hints in there BEFORE they make the big reveal. The hooks and hints can (and should) be so obscure that their meaning will only be apparent once the reveal has been made, making the reader go “OMG it was right there under my nose all along and I didn’t figure it out!”
We have got NOTHING like that regarding Scarlet. So, either they are indeed making this stuff up as they go ahead, OR they are lazy and/or incompetent in creating a good suspense story. Either way, they should fire their writers and hire better ones.
The story isn’t that bad either. It just lacks some overall depth and is obviously made up on the spot. But there’s plenty of top serialized novels like that. Anna Karenina and Moby kitten come to mind immediately. The writers will need experience with that, and remembering F&F, we should agree they’ve come a long way. Doesn’t mean they’re there yet. Firing people won’t solve anything, especially since no one has done this before. Hiring better people is impossible, you have to make them as a company. Experience will do the trick.
I like Scarlet, you don’t. That’s another discussion enitrely.

i like how you mention mounts “differentiate”, like they add some epic level of individuality but ‘your idea’ is comletely jacked from a different game LMAO maybe ANET ‘differentiated’ themselves by not having mounts and using Waypoints. O.o “Come one! Come all! Join our individuality club!” lol get a clue
It’s about reading between the lines. When you give those people mounts without a speedboost, they won’t be happy. If you give them fast mounts, they’ll want even faster mounts. If everyone has those, they’ll complain it’s too easy to get them.
Which, in the end, is not worth the trouble. Better to not start it.
It’s better to have something to work towards in a game. Mounts used to be a feat. They weren’t necessary, really, but very nice to have.
It’s a game. Working is for the 10 hours before playing games.
What I want to work towards is completion of the story, map completion and getting all skills/spells. All other arbitrary grind nonsense is just delaying the fun. I don’t want to work in a game before I can have fun.

You are vastly overestimating her powers. Omnipotence and omniscience, really? If she had anything near that level of power, she would have no need for an army. She would just erase us from reality with a thought.
She seems overly powerful, because she’s the main LS villain for this arc, but you have to remember all her powers come from her gadgets. She needed her vast intelligence of engineering to make them, but all her powers still come down to gadgets, minus the actually briar manipulation.
Teleportation? Gadget.
Damage Immunity Shield? Gadget.
Control of the Steam creatures? Most likely programming and a gadget.
Watchwork? Gadget.Once we find a way to nullify her gadgets, she is just as vulnerable as everyone else.
So we need an EMP?
Sounds doable. That only requires Uranium enrichment, heavy water and the 10 most brilliant minds of the 20th century on one photograph.

Then maybe they should:
1. Not join “experience only” groups
2. Actually admit they’re new when starting a dungeon. People don’t have problem with teaching newbies, just those who admit they haven’t got a clue half way through the run.
You realize that people like you are so common they don’t dare to say on the risk of being kicked. That’s a pity.

Totally serious. When I jest, I use either a smiley or other form to show my sarcasm or irony.
I don’t allow for discrimination on sandy grounds.
The auto-join is not good imho, but adding filters is another issue entirely. Most countries have constitutional rules against such behaviour.
Arena.net should not facilitate discrimination of players on grounds that are not relevant for the content. As such, AR is the only relevant filter in one particular dungeon. Filtering on AP, /age, profession, race, character biography choices, GW1 titles etc etc leads to all kinds of ugly.
So before you you demand a filter, first prove that said filter is actually relevant to the content.
Filters are not obligatory so take your constitution elsewhere.
The point of filters is to improve comfort of play. Unless you like to spend hours on teaching scrubs how to play their profession. I’d say joining properly described parties without reading or ignoring said description is a griefing and should be bannable.
Your comforting play comes at the cost of others not being able to play at all.
While I agree people shouldn’t join false parties, I don’t for instance, you should realize that everyone has to start some place. You have an implicit obligation to teach people. I’m not going to enforce that but you should be thankful that other people were not kittens like you when you first learned a dungeon.
It doesn’t take hours. A little bit of explanation and willingness to wipe once or twice is all. People gave you that, you should give that to others.
If people are clearly unwilling to learn, you can kick them, but in my experience that rarely, if ever, happens.
Do you think newbies talking first steps into new dungeons want to play with groups that skips everything and will not waste time to explain anything?
The only thing they want, is for you to take 2 minutes of your precious time, and explain how to do the boss. Y’know … the time other people gave you back in the day.

This MMO is called Guild Wars.. yet we have no guild to guild interaction. In fact, a guild is just a giant group.
Guild Wars is a name of events that occured in Tyrian lore over hundred of years. It has no correlations with current gameplay, since last Guild War ended over 250 years ago, in 1070AE. You should not link the game name with actual GW2 guilds the true Guild Wars refers to wars with Ascalon, Orr and Kryta. They had their own guilds that participated in battles, like Ascalon’s Chosen or Zealots of Shiverpeaks. Anyway, ANet implemented PvP guild wars in GW1, so you have chance to get what you want in the future!
It’s actually the other way around. GW1 had GvG and they had to force that into the lore somehow. Easiest was to make it a war sometime before the current day.
The lore is not relevant. It’s not an excuse. Don’t use it. Makes you look silly.

How are they scrubs? Do you know what scrub means? You used this word before, and you used it incorrectly.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=scrub
A scrub is a now generalized term used as a synonym for a “noob” or “newb,” which is someone who is bad at a video game or activity in general
Elitists are bad at the game, because such behaviour comes at the cost of fun, and frankly at the cost of the game being a game. Noob is in the eye of the beholder, so is scrub.
Furthermore, in my 2 decade experience as a videogamer, there’s a high correlation between people who insist on optimal but unfun strategies such as farming and speedclearing, and how bad they actually are at the game itself. That’s my personal experience though, the better you claim to are, the worse you actually are.
If you really need an optimal group composition to beat the content, chances are you can’t play your profession.

I am afraid you’re mistaken intent with advertisement.
What you’re talking about is intent. The intent is you can play the game without having to worry about gear ever. Thats entirely true. You can indeed play the entire game without having to worry about gear. I myself am proof of that having played the entire gear without owning a single piece of ascended gear. That intent though doesnt mean that players who like vertical progression have to be cut out, they can have their thing as long as the original intent (that which gear isnt crucial to the game) is satisfied.
Again they’re not forcing anyone to do anything.
You’re free to ignore ascended weapons and you can still play the content you enjoy and still eventually get the ascended weapon you want as a drop playing nothing other then content you play now. Sure it may take a while, most likely a while longer then the alternative but its none the less possible. With that in mind saying you’re forced to play boring content is wrong. To be forced that weapon needs to be needed (which it isnt) and you would have no other option to get it (which isnt even the case)You can’t play entire game with your just exotics. And saying it might take slightly longer is not an answer.
You can play everything with exotics bar a higher difficulty in one particular dungeon.

Since this is the only even remotely interesting topic in this section…
2000 hrs played and I have not completed personal story, not gotten 100% map, not gotten dungeon master, have not done spvp for ten months, not done fractal higher than 10, have crafted cooking to 400 on one character and not touched any other crafts, have not done any of the extra content except for the Mad King and a few Teq attempts. Bring on the Mad King! Imo there is plenty for casuals to do. What I have done is run all the dungeons except arah a bunch of times and worked towards 8 geared 80’s without using crafting, 1 and 1/2 80’s to go.
Then there is three people I play with who play only about two hours a week. If that is not casual I dont know what is. They love the game and never complain about it. They are just not like me they have other interests and hobbies that they also enjoy.
take from that what you will
6 geared 80’s without anything but fractals < 11, and dungeons… Holy cow! that must have taken you forever! That is like… what? like 660 laurels, and what, 600 Globs of Ectoplasm? That is insane dude.
It’s actually physically impossible. You cannot have more than 360 Laurels by today. Even with the reduced PvP prices, someone claiming full Ascended trinkets on more than 3 characters without Fractals 10+ is straight-up lying. I don’t think he’s claiming that, but what he means by “geared” is unclear. Could mean greens for all we know.
ring = 2*25 laurels + badges
amulet = 30 laurels
earring = 12 commendations
for 3 characters that implies 36 commendations and 240 laurels. Not impossible.
Don’t forget you get a ton of laurels with achievements too and triforce amulets don’t cost laurels.
2000 hours played is also extremely hardcore – that’s an average of 5 hours a day. Realistically, with some days off, etc. it’s more like 6+. At 5+ hours day on GW2, you can either have a job or any kind of social life at all, but not both. It’s kind of terrifying (I have played games like that before, so I know of what I speak).
Indeed. It’s terrifying. I’ve been there too.

I never understood the obsession with mounts.
Ok, so you have a large cat you can ride on while I have the basic horse or something. So?
To me, mounts are another way to customize your character and differentiate. Some of my characters would want a more graceful mount, some a more powerful/scary looking mount. It’s like a new outfit. I don’t care about getting around…I care about what mount my character would choose.
And, of course, it’s another thing to collect. Sorta like big minis. lol
That’s one side of the argument. The other is “my 100% mount is faster than your 40% mount you suxxor lolol”. In a game with waypoints, that argument can be avoided.
Unfortunately, mounts tend to have a power creep all of their own. And who’s fastest is bestest in the minds of some. If the vocal kittens scare away the people who want fun, your game dies. So best to not give them a voice in the first place.

Konig I think we are talking about the same thing. Without suffering, we won’t know how Scarlet would have reacted. And so we won’t know her flaws.
I agree that it just comes down to a lack of depth at the end. Her whole backstory just shows how “flawless” she was in everything.
What really doesn’t sit well with me is EVERYONE she met in the past LIKED her. They all cannot wait to be her mentor and teach her stuff. Seriously? Even Angelina Jolie (awesome mother, great actress, love to donate and volunteer) has enemies and people who don’t like her.
There’s degrees. People who like her would want to mentor her. People who don’t like her don’t get mentioned for obvious reasons. People don’t usually burn down people they don’t like as you may think. If they ignored Scarlet, as I do with people I don’t like, they wouldn’t be part of the story.
tl;dr there’s a huge difference between not liking someone and hating someone. You don’t seem to grasp that.
And for someone as “smart” and “show off” as Scarlet, how in the world is NO ONE jealous of her? When she was in Asura land, that whole class should be burning her homework behind her back and picking on her. They should be banging at her door every single night to distract her sleep. etc.
No idea what asura land looks like, but in Europe, that behaviour isn’t nearly as common as it is in Hollywood movies.
You don’t like her. Others do. Same goes for Trahearne. No amounts of text is going to change your or my opinion. We can, at best, agree to disagree.

Do you find that if anything is suggested, if it resembles anything from another game you automatically shoot the idea down? Don’t want your gaming influenced by Mainstream? Were you attracted to GW by some of the unique features that were displayed in early manifestos?
Not everything from other games get shut down. Only particular things which other games a/ do best and b/ wouldn’t improve gw2 are shut down. Here’s a short list:
- raids, trinity, vertical progression
- more levels in an expansion
- mounts, flying mounts
- automated dungeon finder
- duelling in PVE
Most of these will not be implemented because they promote griefing, negative competition and elitism. If you want this kind of gameplay, there’s games doing it almost perfectly. Feel free to play those instead.
This is a videogame. People play this for fun. Enabling fun is far more important than enabling elitism. This is an inclusive game, for better or worse. Deal with it.

Disclaimer: I like Scarlet as a villain, but I’m starting to wonder how we’re going to stop her. First I will explain why, with contemporary examples. The tl’dr at the end will be my most plausible suggestion.
armies
Currently under her (apparent) control: Steam, Watchwork, Molten Alliance, Aetherblades, Inquest
With the next release, one can add Nightmare Court to that list, and we’ve seen some Hologram creatures who may be yet another army for her.
To me, this seems like going up against an alliance of all 5 of the UN security council permanent members with the players being part of the Benelux.
powers
This alliance is controlled by an almost godlike being who is:
- about as omnipotent and omniscient as the christian god.
- has the character of The Joker
- the scientific insight of Stephen Hawking
- the teleportation abilities of Slender Man on steroids
- Sylar’s ability to learn
- the appetite of Christian Grey
Can we really stop her? Can we even get to her, given the number of super powered armies between her and us? When we get new skills and traits, will one of them be become god incarnate.
tl;dr: solution
I can see only one way to stop her. Dei ex machina, preferably all six.

The limited collectors edition was actually pretty limited. I remember that I had to move heaven and earth here in Belgium to get my hands on one of the few available copies.
Nothing in this heroic edition can in any way outrank the stuff that was in the limited edition. Nothing!
This is just complaining for the sake of it, which has rapidly become the unofficial e-sport of GW2.
So lucky I don’t live in Belgium anymore … still had to scramble for the game.
although in Germany I had to place preorders at Mediamarkt … I swore never to buy anything at Mediamarkt again. Guild Wars makes me break expensive oats.

The problem isn’t “casuals” it’s “hardcore with limited time”. Of course it all depends on your definition of casual. I’m extremely serious when I game, i min max, I study skills, I work out damage calculations over lunch, and I can play maybe an hour a day.
The problem is, are there enough of me to be worth worrying about?
Add me to that list.
Part time at least, sometimes I just don’t feel like acting hardcore. Other times I do.

Neither term should be derogatory, but over the years, the word “casual” has come to mean that one doesn’t really care about the game, and only plays once in a while to pass the time.
Isn’t that the exact definition of someone who plays games … to have fun once in a while, to pass the time without really having to care?
So by the new meaning, gaming and being casual are absolute and complete synonyms … funny … never thought of it like that before.

guild wars 2 is still casual friendly.
and will always be.
those casual players just need to stick with their casual content within guild wars 2 and they will be just fine.
they started complaining because they ventured into somewhat serious content (still very casual though) that they are unable to comprehend.
You presume casuals like me have never been hardcore. Quite the contrary. Didn’t like it, cost me my real life. Being casual is by active choice. I could be hardcore, but I’d have to divorce, quit my job and stop training. Don’t want that. Being hardcore is not possible for people like me.
But I don’t think A.net is doing much wrong except for the communication part. I can comprehend hard content, but you apparently can’t comprehend why people play games in the first place. Hardcore has nothing to do with hard but everything with excessive time sinks.
Since casuals, on average, bring in the most money per capita, A.net is very wise to cater to the biggest group, both in absolute numbers and moneywise.

Yes, permanent.
I also suspect as its level 80 ONLY, that the difficulty scale will be about the same as Tequatl…at least only 5 of you will need to work together this time thou…
Anyone noticed, Anet have seriously upped the difficulty of content recently…Gauntlet, Tequatl, boosting bosses and now a level 80 only dungeon path.
Probably in response to everyone saying GW2 is faceroll and to encourage everyone to grind ascended…
Partly true. They also added invasions and pavilion which are easy zerg content. SAB also has 3 difficulty levels, to each his own. A.net is getting their act together and giving something for every type of player.

Scarlet is an okay villain.
She seems to exist to cause comic book style mischief and ants to your picnic.
Then you take the attempted kidnapping of the Queen and invasions into account as well as the fact she has multiple factions enlisted as her minions, one has to wonder if she is more than what she appears to be right now. She can’t be completely mad if she is able to convince so many to go all in with her plans.
Even when OP points out Nagato, you don’t know initially that his motivations are selfless, we only know of Scarlet’s madness.
She saw something of her people’s destiny and if this plan of hers turns out to be more than just meddling in our plans, it could make for a good story and viable villain for us all.
On the other hand … some people just want to see the world burn.

I think you give the devs too much credit.
There’s still no Mac support (meaning no OpenGL support, which is what Linux typically uses), and the game barely even supports its Windows build (horrid performance and no 64-bit client).
That said, if they do round up the MacOS port, they can probably do Linux/SteamOS right after considering most of the hard work will be done by then.
That’s what I’m seeing. Mac OS is not that difficult to port games over to. Blizzard has done it consistantly for years, they practically GIVE you all the tools to do it right on Apple’s website and anything missing is free to the public on many other devs websites so the delay is just another example of the lack of concern for the
gameOS imo. People often talk about how successful WoW is well one of the reasons it is so successful is because they have native Mac support right from the beginning with no hiccups.Adding this to steam would allow people to connect in ways they simply don’t offer in game right now. It would actually improve their title. Not sure what the issue is really.
Had to fix that for truth.
I don’t think Mac support has anything at all to do with the success of WoW. Props to Blizzard for including support, but don’t give it undue credit.

We need either a full or partial refund on items posted on the TP if they don’t sell. You put up an item like a legendary for 2000g, and someone turns around and posts one for 1985g – and now yours won’t sell and you’re out the 100g it cost to post it in the first place. We should get either 100% or 75% back. SOMETHING! Re-posting it for a cheaper price to compete with cheaper market prices is super friggin expensive. That 100g you posted it for before is now 185g.
Real world markets don’t function this way. If you put up stuff in your store at a price, and competitors start offering it for cheaper, you aren’t banned from lowering your prices to compete! Why do we have to do that in a game?
If you’d put it at a price people were willing to pay, undercutting would not happen. Working as intended. Greed cost you 185g.

I never see any lvl80 joining when I say lvl35 thief LFM.
So I take all the people anti elitist are hypocrite, dont’ even do dungeon or want to get carry.
Fill free to join low level group with half of the people never done a dungeon before, a few of them will leave if you wipe a few times, not to mention they probably don’t even know where the dungeon entrance is so you need to wait 10 minutes just so they can get there.
Because blatanly even the low level people dont’ want to group with low level people. So if you start a low level group, only people never done a dungeon before will join and quit midway through.
I don’t mind taking low levels with me and boosting them as long they carry themselves, support the group and don’t slack.
The only thing I select on is verbal abuse, those get kicked immediately. Most people don’t slack, it’s not really an issue (except for zerkers who don’t know the encounters, but I’ll gladly teach them)

hmm,
Collectible Metal box > use it as lunch box
25cm Rytlock Figurine > on my desk
Custom Art Frame, portfolio, and five art prints > on my windows sill
Guild Wars 2 Sound Track > in my car
112 page “Making of” hardbook > on my night shelf
One might say I got 150 euros of stuff I actually use and got a free game with it.
The Heroic edition has a Mithril box, 10 xp boosters and a suit of legacy armor. Who needs that mithril box or those xp boosters? I’ve got tons. The only thing you miss out on can be bought in the gem store.
Entitled much?

But let me qualify my posts a bit.
It’s not that I don’t want an alternative. It’s just that I’m extremely skeptical. It’s not like this hasn’t been tried before 100 times. It fails every. single. time. Maybe SteamOS could be the next big thing in gaming but again … I’m extremely skeptical. It’d probably good even, but I just don’t see it happen.
The Linux fans are having a field day, because once again someone is making a Windows-killer distro. That’s like arguing about WoW killers. It’s pointless. But hey … maybe this is the one. Maybe this time, history isn’t going to repeat. Prove me wrong, I’d be happy to.I’ve used Linux before. I don’t like Linux, and reading that into my posts is all on you, not from what I’ve said. It isn’t my preference, but what I am saying is that your earlier arguments were complete nonsense* and full of vitriol and hyperbole. I won’t hold that against you, though, as this qualifier makes more sense.
I merely stated the facts for Linux as a gaming OS. If those facts sound like vitriol and hyperbole, maybe that says more about Linux for gaming than me. I didn’t say anything which wasn’t true. There’s simply not much positive to say. After almost 30 years of Linux, it’s still an infantile OS when it comes to gaming. That’s the blunt truth and I’m not going to sugar coat it.
Skepticism is fine and makes sense. I too am skeptical re: SteamOS. But it has a chance. It won’t be soon and it won’t be some killer blow, but it could be that in four-five years, it’s actually a big deal. It’s a real “let’s wait and see” deal. No-one with remotely this oomph has tried anything like this before.
Most who do this make a console, and that’s exactly what many expect to be Valve’s end game.
Microsoft are faltering on every front – Windows 8 is mediocre at best, not a real improvement from 7 at all, mobile market share is tiny, GFWL is being retired and was an unmitigated disaster for PC gaming, and so on, and even the Xbone is looking like it’s going to be marginally inferior to machine $100 cheaper than it (and I’m no Sony fan). I think if there was an ever a chance… this is it.
Don’t forget that even if there’s a tiny chance, SteamOS is still going against the largest corporation in IT. I have been using Windows 8 for almost a year now (dev preview) and I don’t agree with the hyperbole in your post. It’s a huge improvement over Windows 7, but not that apparent at first. There’s a learning curve, agreed, but after that Windows 8 is vastly superior.
As far as the XBox One is concerned … we’ll have to see. It’s almost like Microsoft is trying to repeat Sony’s mistakes from last generation. Windows Mobile is another discussion entirely. Nokia 3310 ftw.

I guess all of those times I PUG’d in berserker and stayed alive in addition to probably carrying 80% of the group’s DPS would have been even easier if I was in soldier gear I guess, you know, not being able to damage anything and the group wiping due to running out of sustain.
If there was one tip I could offer a new level 80 when it comes to PvE, it would be to jump in the deep end and use maximum damage gear. It’ll force you to adapt and make you a better player as a result rather than using defensive stats as a crutch.
On the other hand, maybe not everyone wants to be the best player possible and simply wants to survive. Soldier’s more prone to error, doesn’t require nearly as much skill micro. For people who just want to relax and have a breather in the evening, celestial or soldier’s is much recommended.
PS: most zerkers I see are dead on the ground and carry 0% of the DPS. Jumping off the deep end often means you just fall to your death.

(Back on topic) If they don’t want the filters to be abused they could just make the max settings such so that it wouldn’t be full ascended 10k achievements points crazyness type of stuff. Heck even a filter for just rares near your own level as a max… which the dungeons are scaled for… would be a large improvement.
That’s actually a good suggestion.

Furthermore, nothing is inherently wrong with a Villain Sue. It’s just one type of villain, just like OP prefer the (imho) bland world peace through world war one man army character (Nagato). Personally, I think Scarlet is just a Joker-type villain.
One can use a lot of literary analysis to say whether or not the Joker from Batman is a good or bad villain, but that doesn’t take away the fact the Joker is the second most popular comic book villain of all time.

I’m more of the Kane type of villains (Command and Conquer).
Villain Sue check list:
-suffered nothing in childhood. > Kane has no Childhood
-suffered nothing in adulthood. > Adulthood for more than 5000 years. Faces direct Ion cannon hit and lives. Twice.
-surrounded by nice people and mentors show / taught her things. > Absolutely not.
-cared by a loving mother figure. > He’s more like a father figure to entire humanity.
-betrayed her mentor. > Betrays everyone.
-look down on everyone. Evil laugh. > Absolutely. comes with 5000 years of experience.
-became smarter than everyone else, in an incredibly short amount of time. > Found humanity in clay huts. Taught them everything
-raised an army from nothing, in an incredibly short amount of time. > At least three times.
-invented weapons that defied logic (became legendarily powerful, in an incredibly short amount of time > Stealth tanks, spider cyborgs, liquid bomb to destroy Europe and invite alien assimilators.
And the cherry on the caek: played by the author himself.
Awesome villain. I like Kane. I like Scarlet.

I don’t ussaually post in these forums but you make me lawl so hard that I took off on my lolerskates I’m only gonna slap a couple of your points down
@2 if you can’t kill an engy at 25% health u need to learn to manage CDs
@11 sig of spite shows a big yellow circle above necro head before goes off l2 dodge
@18 learn to aoe
@14 buy better connect or get off of your neighbors wifi
Your lack of knowledge is frightening.
2: Passive traits that carry a player and totally negate a source of damage is absurd. @11: You really are able to dodge this spell with all that clutter? I don't know anyone who can do this. @18: Mass Invis is still a mechanic that shouldn't exist in any serious PvP environment. There is absolutely no counter to it, if it's placed well enough. *
14: Everyone allrdy knows that the servers of arena-net/nc-soft whatever, are pretty bad and produce after every patch heavy lags.*
I have my own, dedicated, internet (which I personally pay for). I have my router and firewalls optimized for Guild Wars 2. My IP takes priority over all other IPs and GW2 takes priority over all download protocols. I hardly, if ever, have lag.
- is 100% and entirely your problem. Don’t put your own lack of decent internet on Arena.net.
Not going to comment on the balance issues, I’m not experienced enough for that. But the internet thing I had to respond to.
