you know what op i think you are corect on this one. i didnt get lucky and didnt get my ticket but i tried and was unlucky. it was nice there were more then one way to try and get tickets with better odds in one over the other. this is the way they should do the skins from now on

actually id call this a big success if it wasnt for the miscomunication about the timing of fireworks and the dragonball achievements not counting

the fireworks timing left a sour note and hope they do a set schedule next time and if this would have been the case i would have said great bash… im giving the whole thing 8 out of 10.. so good job anet

If they would change it to 5/46 it would be just too easy.
The dailies are not very difficult to accomplish. Sometimes you need a little bit more time, but it is not truly impossible to do them each day (if you don’t expect them to be finished after 5 minutes^^).

Maybe it would be another option (if it is really an issue for some players) to extend the selection to choose from either by adding more dailies to the existing 46 or by extending the 5 from 11 to 5 from 15 (or whatever).

actually, what we have now, is 1 + 8 random ones actually.
because 1 = gather resources, which is always fixed.

so for those who complain much, maybe make it 5 + 10
as in the 5 is always fixed while the 10 is random, so those who complain much can just keep on doing those 5.

i still would prefer them the way they are. i do pick the easiest ones but it gives me enough variety so they dont get old if they had 5(easy one like you sugest) id pick the same 5 everyday and i probably wouldnt be playing anymore since all i usually do is log in for event like the festival and dailies and monthlies. i quite before they changed the dailies for a couple of months cause the dailies got old. at least these are different but easy enough so im on half an hour a day

the problem with them saying they are going to fix bugs i just dont believe them after the crab achievements in the last event. to get my last backpiece last time i had to beg for a portal cause i stink at jp’s and everything else was bugged so i couldnt get any other achievement and that was the last day of lost shore event and i tried everyday of the event to finish up enough achievements. all i saw from anet we are aware of the bugs and working on fix which they never did. im thinking they wont fix these and we will have to do ten and those dragon ball one wont ever count. im not saying im quiting and im not saying i cant wait i can. its like im in a abusive relationship and they keep slapping me. maybe i need help instead

i always try to do one part either the escort mission or retrieve kegs if needed or one of the portal thingies. i always have a speed equiped sop i make it back. i think instead of buffing sb why not put a pause in between the pres and when sb arrives of 2 minutes. then there would be enough time for everyone to get back

I would like Dragon Ball to stay and maybe to replace Keg Brawl. I didn’t like Crab Toss but Dragon Ball is fun. It would be nice if more achievements could be added. After 20 wins there isn’t much to look forward to.

I don’t know why Moa Racing is supposed to stay. I counted myself lucky that I only had to waste 5g to get the achievement after turning in all the winnings.

i was thinking the same thing actually thought they choose the wrong one to stay. i wouldnt mind moa racing if it was changed a bit a little less to spend less reward for winning but i thought dragon ball was crazy fun even though i stink at it i thought it was the best mini game to date they done

i prefer them the way they are not too hard and i get to decide what i want to do. it moves me a lot in areas i dont go to often usually doing other tasks along with my dailies. on one char i might have never finished mount malestorm without the dailies. i took that char everytime we had a metrica one and now im doing it on another. some days i want to do wvw so i can do some of it there. they are good for me the way they are. although in the monthlies id like a few more choices

i bet on two moas i bet one til they won then bet the other took me 23g to get the mini. i bet monna and mortt all the way. i had my achievement pretty quick

only gripes i have(only 2) is the ceremony with the fireworks and how it was set up thought that was poorly thought out and the 100k zaitaffy thought it was tad high(25k would have been sufficent in my book). of the events and i know there are more to come. i liked the moa racing although there was a glitch that happens. dragonball was fun although i sucked at it im going to finish my schievement on it and enjoy it next year im sure. i loved how you pick up orbs for more powers and health. the halograms not anets fault. they didnt understamd how people were going to camp these things and ruin it for others. numbers on fireworks and pinatas may have been low in my book but hey some people are real casual and yes we must give them time to do that stuff so i see no problem there. i loved the decorations and art which were superb.

Let me explain how this works.

The firework event cycle (them happening every two hours) was started at 9:00 AM PDT. The event itself is tied to the ingame time and will happen at dawn (ingame). So your fireworks might not have happened yet, as it is not dawn ingame.

Apologies for us not communicating this more clearly. But the fireworks will happen every two hours over the course of the weekend, so plenty of time to marvel at them and get the achievement.

im sorry cause some people got a schedule in real life put off what they were doing for an hour or so to get the achievement and because yall didnt make this clear they had to go and now wont get the achievement. why cant you guys force it to go every two hours not make it depend on game time for stuff go off. it was idiotic to do it that way.

whaT happens if you get put into overflow oh wait thats another timer. poor design and stupid thinking all around. worst part is the dev come in to answer and act like we are morons for not knowing.

funny thing is dragonball achievements dont work for the main achievement event. so grinding these these without wanting to do them because you want to grind out your achievements early doesnt work youll still need one or two more achievements. i didnt know these didnt count til i saw the dev interview on twitch today. those two dev were answering questions and then we got to see them play dragonball

Also there is one other thing I forgot as far as spreading good deeds. Stop by the Players Helping Players from time to time. There is always a lot of good questions and usually a fair amount of new players look for advise. If you are here anyway why not take 5 minutes to see if you can help someone in the other forum.

talk about helping earlier today i had a person get on my overflow and started asking question about the event. he sure did have a lot of questions when i went to my server at the end i counted his question there were 56 total and they were all good questions and i answered them all he friended me when he found out we were on the same server later when he went to regular server too. i try to answer all questions in map chat even if someone just answered that same question a minute ago. it seems weird most of my friends on my friend list became friends from me answering questions . so maybe the good karma get rewarded that way

just dont make events that sync with an in game sync since no one knows what the time is in game make all events sync with server time(there an option to show this in the ui) at least we know they are going to go off when we expect them case closed: solved

all im saying they better hand out the achievement for this if you dont get it. im sorry they cant stick to a real schedule and have to use this so called game night day schedule. this is one major screw up and next time either post individual schedules for each server if they are going to use in game time or just let them go off on a regular schedule on all servers at the same time. thi(the way they did it) had to be the most idiotic way to do something. if this was my business someone prob get fired for this mess up of this proportions

i dont care for them personally but as long there is a toggle switch to turn off guild capes or an ability to use something else in back spot them yes id vote for capes

You can get better (as a player) without getting better gear. After all, if you can do all the content…..naked…..without dying (for example), what’s gear going to do for you? Not much….

as for the original not all people hate people who proclaim they are great.if i recall terrell owens(football us for those who dont know him) stated he was pretty awesome at one point. there has been several in other sports who have done the same thing. just because they proclaim they are great doesnt make me hate them. i admire them for their skill and i admire those who say nothing but let their skill do the walking. i dont think proclaiming your good makes any difference. if your good people will admire you

I have to agree with the people who say that advertising a guild on general chat and asking for “skilled players” is a recipe for disaster, a good way to end with not only bad players but also a lot of kids with overinflated ego.

Personally, in my guild, we only take people who are pleasant to play with, even if they aren’t “zomg top skillz!”.

i personally dont keep people in my guild who are bad at the game and choose to stay that way, its simply the way my guild is, if someone is lacking i will put all my effort into helping them and finding out what they struggle with, im an elitist but i like to think that im one of the good examples, i plan on turning the guild into a WvW guild so i need everyone to be average in it, if not then i will help them, if i know they are going to try i will help, i dont help the people who want a free ride :P

Well I’m glad I’m not in your guild. I guess I don’t take video games seriously enough to behave like that towards fellow players, and even less towards fellow guild mates. And yet we don’t have any trouble tackling any of the content of the game, including WvW.

As I said, I rather be surrounded by pleasant people even if they aren’t the best players ever than by “skilled” ones who take games way too seriously and are not pleasant to play with. I play games to relax, not to manage a second job as guild leader to lead a sort of pseudo military organization in a game after I’m done with my real job.

When I remove someone from my guild (happened once so far since release, we have a good recruitment policy), it’s because he behaved badly and broke our few guild rules which mostly say “be nice”. Never because he’s less skilled than others. I’d hate myself if I ever did that.

i totally agree im glad im not in his guild and for the casualness of my guild makes me want to play more. it funny how the skill of a few can make a dungeon run faster then a group of 5 who supposably are skilled. happened the first time i ever did cof with guild mates. three of us didnt have a clue and followed. the mates commented how it was the quickest run they ever did and found out after several runs later they were right. i prefer a more social guild. as for advertizing doesnt a more casual guild advertize that not you must be fun top play with they state they are relaxed and casual

i believe from the comments youve made, you havnt read the whole post, did i at one point say that i have kicked anyone??? no so dont assume, it is my philosophy though, i have put so much effort to help the people in my guild, like i said i teach and introduce them to each aspect, i said i need them to be average, and at what point did i say that it was a military organisation xD im making it a WvW guild, but when it comes down to it, i want to have fun, its a little disrespectful even for the forums to say what you just did :S

one thing there is achievements for getting the armors. i got em for each set of race i have. there are a few i tranmuted to better stats too.

i agree with you on almost all points you got a well written feedback. even this i sort of agree but i have noticed a few dynamic events have disappeared and they added afew in wish there was more of this to make it feel like the world was changing. one for instance it seemed like the bandits were setting up the roadblock in queensdale all the time i do believe they removed that one although i wish they would remove that one in wayfarer hills seems like i destroy that one two times a day from my trips back from the maw. so i do agree i wish they would remove more and update other way more then they do

i think maybe they should scale back the pre events i dont see the people changing so they got to change the pre events make them do able with at least 4 to 8 people. they have scaled other events back so why not it

i loved what i seen so far not petfect but it was great in my book. i love the moa racing the pinatas love the fireworks and the holograms. yes i feel it could be improved mainly the hologram part where people are camping them and im glad the fix came in on the moas racing before i logged off for the night i didnt get to try them before the fix and glad i didnt. it would have stunk if people were manipulating them to win gold. i agree 100k zaitaffy(or however you spell it) is a bit high for the wings. i thought it should have been way lower. decorations are awesome and we still got a lot more to do coming up.

i never leveled a char in a week but crafting helps speed up any leveling i have done. 50 levels the most i did in a week and a good part was crafting

when your hate a race its too hard to give up that hate. i always felt given half a chance she still would have knife pyre in the back if it wasnt for your char. i dont think she would be any different today. she would quickly go back into her hated for the charr. she had too much personal experience hating char something that will never leave her. separatist all the way for her

im hoping they do like they did in gw1 have the same content but add extra for you to do thats new

im still playing and i agree with you on one point it does still feel like they are spinning the wheels. i dont think they quite gotten where they want to be be on the living story but i think it will get better. they are learning as they go. some places i feel like they need a lot more polish but the game was free to play you already bought it when you want so jump in and give it a bit of a try. if you were burned out and took a while off it doesnt hurt to try it again. you never know maybe playing this a bit here and there might be your thing i took a month off and may take another off. its a good game that has potential to be a better game.

Southsun already has some amazing views, and I do with they came with vista points

i never saw any explanation why there wasnt any but truthfully i wouldnt mind a few heart quests in orr and in southsun. my feelings are leave it like end game areas although i wouldnt mind if those got hearts too

heart quests im going to say no since the orr areas(cursed shore.malichors leap and straights) dont have them but the other two yes they could use a few of those to make it complete

ok i agree get rid of the respec fees. it will encourage doing more build changes and make it so you can change it anywhere and maybe we will see more variation of builds. wp are supposed to be a moneysink but i wouldnt mind if those go too

there are points i agree with you and a few i dont. i totally agree with you about the achievements they werent too tough to get your prizes and there was multiple ways to get them you werent forced to do stuff you didnt care about. i agree with the confusion arguement. i felt there was way too much of that but the rest of the wildlife and events i thought were well done. i got steamrolled a few times by megamobs but that happens other places too so it doesnt bother me and im sure they wont be so nasty when they scale down. as for the karka attacks i say keep them like they are so you should know to save your dodges for the most important stuff now

null and canache left me feeling unimpressed for final event especially after f and f final dungeon and i dont care for using other things but my skills in big fight makes me feel really less important. so the bomb mechanic wasnt that great in my book. as for the karka queen leave her just like she is . she is a great world event just like the other with a nice chest at the end. too many people camp those so having another of these doesnt hurt no need to make it more a pian in the rear so no one ends up doing it like the others.

as for your feeling dont worry i loved it all but giving feedback is good helps if the devs know what we like and dislike so they make better content down the road
