I don’t see the point of wasting dev time. Before this, I played DDO, which has in-game chat. It is only used by casual players. All of the hard-core people use 3rd party software like Ventrillo or Mumble because they have a lot more features and are updated more frequently.
Let the devs improve features everyone will use and let people who -really- want vchat use something that will -really- make them happy.

I don’t even do the daily achievement any more. The paltry reward is not worth my time. If I happen to get close to it on a char that I am leveling, I will try to finish it, but otherwise, I don’t bother.

Hi, Gin! I recognize ?you?! I totally agree, but I have taken a different approach – when I talk to an Asura, I make it a point to sit down and I encourage others to do so as well. When I talk to a Norn, I ask them to sit down. Why should someone have to break their neck to talk to someone else?
There should definitely be transition animations and I wish they would fix the cry animation so it ended naturally. I stopped using it because it felt too wrong to have to move to break and suddenly No More Tears!

I like this idea, but let’s take it further…I should be able to make my own notes on my map and share them with whomever I please. Other people should be able to share their notes with me and I should be able to save them to my map. If I haven’t discovered a location on my map I should still get the note on the grey area.

I want the option to be invisible, but I want selective invisibility:
I want to be able to see gchat. If I chose to type there when I am invisible, I should be allowed to do so.
I don’t want my location to be posted at all or even my char name to show.
I want to be able to whisper to someone and anyone I whisper to should be able to respond.

I disagree, Nurvus. If every NPC has a different response for each personality, it is not going to be about builds. Some will respond favorable to one characteristic and some to another. I don’t believe you can change your personality willy-nilly, so you will have to take your chances when you respond. Also, this will enhance the replay value.
How to make everyone happy….morphine drip. Short of that, someone is going to complain about every single thing in any piece of software.

I would like to see up to 10 party slots! Why? I RP. Sometimes, it is hard to find a spam-free place to RP. It is no fun spending 10 minutes or more looking for a secluded spot in overflow (if you can even get there), waiting for everyone to get there, start RPing and then have a bunch of disruptive people stumble across you.

I would like to see interactive emotes. Much like you type say…. /dance * to sync emotes
Perhaps doing /dance @ * with a person doing the same thing while targeting you, it would be a new interactive emote. I’m not saying this so much with just /dance
But anything really. So it actually feels like your toons can emote interact with each other.Say threatening at the same time while using @ and sync has the two bicker and quarrel.
Or dancing can add just a new step To the dance in which two or more people can join in
EtcI’m sure I worded this all weird. Just a suggestion. I’m sure something like this would take a lot of time if considered but just throwing it out there.
