Thats because you probably join groups that dont mind so much. Ive never been kicked from any group before. And i only kick people that make things frustrating or obviously cant read the lfg post. Even experienced players will often allow subpar builds in their group as long as the player is competant. Kicking only happens b4 the start of the dungeon to filter out unwanted classes/builds or later on if the player demonstrates that they really deserve to be kicked. If your getting kicked from groups its most likely your fault.
I wouldnt say guild groups are sensitive. They just communicate with each other and are unlikely to waste time keeping someone in a group if they all feel like they would be better off without you. When I run dungeons with my buddies we pug the extra slots and occasionally we get terrible players, if its mid run we will stick it out till the end, unless they are preventing our progress, then kick them and find a replacement for the next path.
No they are boring because of low skill cap and basic mechanics.
Pugs reject all necros because even power necros build wrong.

At this point basic bosses like Kholer arent any fun to me so i get more enjoyment out of seeing their hp melt insanely fast. Fights like lupi, ghost eater and bloomhunger are enjoyable though.
We LoS Kholer because the fight is boring either way. Done it without LoSing plenty of times but now when we want to just blitz through ac quickly we just burn him down against the wall. Also helps with stacking up the adds as nik said. LoSing isnt fool proof. Sometimes he does his attack anyway and if people arent paying attention they are dead. Othertimes he does the evade attack and gets behind you so hes no longer against the wall. And recently hes been aggroing onto the npc and just staying in the middle. :P

I would like to agree, but we have to assume that maybe it is not what the developers intended and that they just cannot or do not want to fix it for the time being, because they have their own priority list. Hence the second factor.

I never said you need a class to solo stack 25 vuln. But if your auto attacking with warrior gs and taking ranger with anything other than a mainhand sword you are doing it wrong. I was simply mentioning the advantages and disadvantages both classes have in an optimized group setting. The advantage of a solo stacking vuln engi is you can take full dps conjure eles that dont need the vuln stacking trait. So they can get more dps out of their traits than if they were forced to take vuln stacking. Warriors in optimized groups only stack vuln with OMM, axe #2 and mace #4 so having a class that does it passively is better in some instances. Especially as you most likely only want one warrior with discipline, strength and FGJ. So theres no room for OMM. Im not saying engi is a must pick for dungeons, infact both necro and engi are pretty much never wanted in organized groups. But they can be ok when built properly, the engi is more useful in that situation than the necro though.
Meh barely noticed it as it was so brief haha. Didnt realise it bounced, just noticed i got a few short duration stuns during the fight.
I could maybe agree having one person activate both panels to turn off the lasers is a glitch. But the golems surely is intended. It gives teams a variety of ways to tackle it. Slow and safe or organized and quick. Dealing with the amount the group can handle.
Even if you stack and los to burn him down quickly sometimes he decides to aggro the npc and troll out in the open. Forces you to fight him a bit more in the open. Not any harder just takes a bit longer. Hes an optional boss, theres no reason to force people to kill him. Also I heard the troll was supposed to be really hard? Had to fight the revamped troll for the first time yesterday, he wasnt that bad. Really obvious tells, just got caught off guard the first time I saw the attacks. The fear is a bit silly but meh.
Well ok Ill bite. Warriors only save their burst for the end of the fight. Necro’s only flash DS or save it for defense. Mesmers dont shatter. Thieves dont steal? Only classes that really get to keep using their class mechanic in dps builds are engi, guardian and ranger. But they arent exactly very exciting class mechanics.
Engi does more for the group and has better solo damage. Necro has better damage when fully buffed. Necro has no useful utility except for blinds which can be obtained from other classes easily enough. Engi can pretty much cap 25 vuln in aoe on its own. Necro can only maintain 12 vuln on a single target. Engi can stack might pretty nicely, necro can only give themselves selfish might. This is comparing optimized zerker dungeon builds for both classes as condi damage doesnt really have a place in pve.

Bolt to the heart is about a 6.6% damage boost overall. Amplifiers stack multiplicatively.
Same could be said about all classes being forced into certain builds/weapons to be optimal in dungeons.
Dagger necro gets boring, but atleast aoe comboing trash is fun. Axe warrior is really boring. Sword guardian is boring. Most classes get boring when the highest dps is from just auto attacking.

Serious answer would be all dungeons excluding the ones posted above. And maybe ignore TAFU as most people cant handle adapting to the boss fight.
I believe the two races that are popular are Tengu and Largos. Dont really see the appeal with Largos myself tbh. Tengu would be amazing though.
@Dub: Yeah I guessed as much. You probably wouldnt ever take it for a normal run. Is conjurer a must have or do you find that for most runs you have enough charges without it?
I believe the highest dps ele is 25/0/25/20/0? But you leave vuln and fury to other members of the group or a second ele.
Depends if you can get perma fury with just 1 warrior.
My engi is called Spojbob Engipants.
Most speedrun groups take 1-2 eles for their damage. Only time they dont is for a full record time where skipping is important to get a fast time (warriors are the fastest class to get through running parts of dungeons). For speedkills of certain bosses eles are always taken.
The 5 in honour also contributes to power of the virtuous. So id assume 10/30/0/5/25 is the best if you arent really using GS much and you can maintain aegis.
Thanks for the comments. I say im not worried about survivability as I mained a necro and they have a much harder time surviving melee than any other class lol. Will be testing out bombs aswell as they seem pretty fun while leveling.

Zerker is better on all classes in optimized builds. Some arguement could be made for assassins on mesmer due to reflects though. With full might/fury and buffs most classes reach near enough 100% crit chance anyway. Assassins is a pointless new stat combo unless you combine it with something like valkyrie in a wvw build or something.

He’s not dictating anything VERBALLY. He’s dictating the pace of the entire run. That doesn’t take words. Time wasted is just that, wasted. You are NEVER getting that time back EVER.
If the team doesn’t care, what’s the problem? If you care, build your teams better. Players that team with people who are running the builds they want aren’t overly concerned by anything you said, so I don’t doubt that the advantages of DPS builds don’t impact their decision on how they play the game.
But whos to say the team doesnt care? Thats why I said if your pugging you should be running builds which arent selfish. You can run whatever you want with friends/guildies so long as they are fine with it.
Heres a test for you. Go pug with your burning build. Everytime you join a group tell them you are running a completely useless build but you find it fun. I wonder how many will kick you and how many will just grumble in silence.

Just what I was trying to say haha.
The average no requirement pug can take hours on a dungeon. But experienced players can complete most paths in under 10-15mins.
colesy’s on rampage today. Slaying casuals left, right and centre.
The average pug/player wants to complete dungeons smoothly and within a reasonable time frame. So the average group would prefer decentish dps. If your pugging you should atleast be building around some form of dps to be fair on the average player. If you want to play useless builds go play with your friends/guildmates. Just like we elitists do. Although generally pugs are all to happy to be carried by us, not sure they would be to happy having to carry a complete dead weight though.
Ghost eater is a pretty well designed boss imo. Fairly challenging and can be unforgiving. But once you know what to do its not too bad.
You dont have to but its pretty selfish to slow the group down because of your awful build. Most players, even casual players, prefer to be useful. So telling them how to build an effective way to help their group is something they are all to happy to do. Not the case on the forums because everyone on forums is stubborn as hell (Im the same).
You do realise we only inform people dps is the way to go because the chances are atleast a few people will listen and then the proportion of properly built pugs increases slightly. Most of us who post on these forums dont run with pugs but getting people to pug with better builds is something all players should be encouraging. Slowing runs down and potentially ruining peoples experiences because of hour long runs with multiple wipes is not fair to those you are grouping with.
I got 18 seconds. But that was with bloodlust. Switched to Perception. Should be able to get faster.

Its been done naked. Think the main issue is most people cannot be bothered to do it just to prove point. That and not many people have geared rangers and necros.

The devs intended explorable modes to be challenging endgame content. Only really the case for arah and that one encounter in TAFU. All classes can do the content they just need to adapt, something most people have a problem with doing.
