I’ve personally dubbed it the mystic toilet because all I ever get from it is crap. so that would be a no. The only time I’ve ever received anything good from it is when I’ve put in a specific recipe, combining never works for me.

Because these are the most popular ones so they are trying to push you to the Gemstore, C’mon guys, i thought this was common knowledge.

Gw2 revolves around spending in game cash for things such as this, luckily, i can live without and enjoy the game for what it is

I would push myself towards the gemstore IF the skins itself were at least decent…

doesn’t explain why they don’t even have skins for many of the items in the gem store even. Weird. I thought they might have a large white candle for my torch but I didn’t see one oh well.

I know this isn’t priority 1 and I’ve reported it to the bug report system but I still see people gathering plants and chopping down trees with their mining pick instead of their other tools appropriate to those tasks. Just wanted to FYI.

To me grind occurs when the gameplay becomes a second job where you simply must get the items you need in order to remain competative. Do we have a system in GW2 where one must have gear to be competative? Yes, two of them actually. Right now whether it’s intended or not, it is considered competative to run dungeons, so the faster the run the better, the best geared is usually the most successful so we see people requesting only certain classes and certain levels and certain gear level. The second one? WvW gear matters in WvW i hate to tell you guys this but it’s definitely a must. I know this and I don’t even pvp. It’s common knowledge. If someone claims otherwise they are either trying to trick the readers into thinking you don’t need gear in WvW or they are delusional. It’s notably important for many of the classes that are either broken or have massive amounts of bugs as the only thing that keeps them alive longer is toughness and vitality.

So the grind people talk about here in the forums is having to spend and unusually long period of time (months) trying to get gear (ascended legendary or even exotic which is sad the way loot drops DR etc has slowed even this down) in order to remain competative.

See you can’t have a competative atmosphere without grind dropping in there somewhere. It’s just not going to happen. Grind for the duration of months in order to achieve a goal is never good, and that’s what people are complaining about in these forums.

That being said, multiple devs have come forth about these issues (loot drops, DR, availability of ascended gear) and have made statements suggesting they are working on these problems. Only time will tell what they have in store for us.

thieves burst damage is WAY TOO HIGH more than any other class in this game by a mile!

Really? Tell that to my thirty bullets I shoot at everything. Yeah thirty bullets. Can you imagine how long it would take to kill anything like that in real life? It’s like shooting pellets at everything. Engis have the same issue.

Anyway on topic:

I think Thief gameplay is a little slow, there are things that slow condition damage down greatly like bleeding and poison damage being nowhere near on par with burning. Even with the gear.

I think that the thief is missing many a trick and many a concept which made thieves a great class in any RPG setting. distractions, tricks, diversions, all are missing on this class. (when i say tricks i mean making my enemy attack something else or dodging and leaving behind a dummy etc. ) It’s like when this class was made someone left out the ninja and D&D fantasy examples entirely. Where’s my disguise for moving among enemies without being noticed? Or my distraction to make enemies turn around for a few seconds or my sap to daze my enemy before I steal something from him, or the slice to a major artery? The bleed stacking is almost non-existant for the type of fighters Thieves are.

I know there are some Charr things that sorta look like this but I would love some pistols that have rotating parts and steam spraying out from them, or rifles, or a gear shield with moving parts. It doesn’t have to be an exotic, just has to be able to be transmuted.

Here’s some ideas:

  1. goggles with lenses that move/have gears
  2. gear shield with moving parts
  3. pistols/rifles with steam coming out
  4. that old brass type color on weapons
  5. weapons that look like they were made from pipes

As for healing bombs, if you’re specced for healing, you SHOULD be using the bomb kit and you SHOULD be taking 30 in inventions.

Fumigate really isn’t all that hard to use either. Aim, spray, turn the camera in the general direction of whatever you’re spraying. At least one of those ticks is going to hit.

The problem with bombs is their explosive radius has been nerfed to having to be right on top of the enemy or friend for them to work correctly. BIG margin for miss. (they don’t even have the same radius as my thief’s sword, i tested this) And then you have to choose two completely useless other abilities to get to that one in the trait line.

Please don’t tell people that the cone attacks like Fumigate work well because we all know it doesn’t this is one of the cone abilities that’s had serious miss problems since before launch and no it has nothing to do with the camera because the cone attacks on the other classes don’t miss like this and FT. There’s something specific to engineers that’s wrong with these two and the p/p torch ability that causes them to miss in this fashion. It doesn’t matter where my camera is on my toon it still misses 40% of the time even when trying to cure friendlies.

It’s really easy to see that it’s not working as intended.

I didn’t really like the skins to begin with though I thought some of the effects were pretty cool. I’ve been pooling my skill points and T6 mats.

I just sold all my mats.

The prestige of legendary weapons is now absolutely meaningless. It requires no hard work or luck at all – only pockets lined with gluttony.

I’m not saying you are this if you have one – I’m saying that with 4 legendaries on the trading post now, I will no longer think much of any character I see carrying one. It’s not your fault. The weapons just don’t mean anything anymore.

Completely agree. It’s sad really. At least your legendary was worth it. Did you see the crazy half plant half toy one for the pistol? I can understand this kinda thing for asura thieves but I’m an engineer cmon, can we get a hand cannon or something? LOL cmon now.

Can't find Sage or Chili Peppers Anywhere

I get chili peppers in the char zones like all the time. Really I do even going back to the beginner zones on my 80 makes those drop off seedlings. I was surprised too. They drop about as much as vanilla beans but aren’t as restricted to 2 zones like vb’s are.

Sage is another story entirely. I’m not even sure where to get that one.

I think rifles should be either changed to full on sniper or full on shotgun not this weird combo we have going on now, and the jump shot thing was cute but impractical doesn’t really protect us while we’re using it in fact it makes us weaker. We need a redo on this weapon.

Actually he’s just responding to what we all know to be true. Engineers at level 80 with similar builds and runes and gear have to do backflips and use every single Fkey to get the same affect as any other class does right now.

My FT is nerfed so bad and misses most of the time so It doesn’t do most of the damage against my enemies, guess what does. The sigils i have equipped, if it weren’t for those sigils I’d be spending figuratively all day trying to kill a mob in each battle.

I’ve done just about every build out there because I wanted to see for myself what it was like, I have an easier time on my ranger/guardian/thief then i do on my engineer in any build. It’s really sad that so many classes can three shot everything and engineers must fire bullet after bullet or throw a ton of grenades just to do the same thing. (and I’m speaking in pve terms.) We’ve got a long way to go.

I have to agree with OP. They need to reverse the mechanics on the “in combat” status. In PVE people are often kept in combat to do anything and being in combat turns off the ability to switch abilities anyways so there’s no abusing it in pve. I think they need to make the incombat status last longer in pvp and fix pve so that unless there’s something beating on you you are out of combat in pve. Right now it’s in reverse, in pve we are in combat forever and in pvp people get out of combat when nothing is hitting them.

This would most likely solve the problem he’s describing.

While I don’t personally pvp. (hated it for years) there are some serious problems with this class, OP is right in that regard. I would personally tell all new players to hold off making one until they address most of the bugs we’ve had to deal with since before launch on this class.

I occassionally have a bug where the mob I just killed respawns instantly right when I killed it. (another of the same one appears instantly right when the first one dies in the same leash location that I encountered the first one) now I haven’t had this happen with champions or veterans thank goodness but It can be quite frustrating to new players.

For me this has happened in areas that no one else is in, that all the mobs have been present the entire time, and when I pull a single mob away from an area where there is a high chance that I might aggro the rest if not more careful. This even happens with docile mobs (those that don’t aggro) like moas. It’s happened for me since launch, but less frequently of late.

(I know no one else is in the area because I tend not to have the culling problem most do, In pve zones I always see the other players even when they are far far away).

I’d personally love the old setup I used in the last game I played (adjusted for this one of course):

  1. An armor set that scales with the players level until level 70.
  2. The vendor is invisible to all below level 80.
  3. The armor set can only be purchased with karma.
  4. The armor set will have non-game changing scores on it for the purposes of leveling.
    (Power/toughness/vitality)
  5. The armor set would have +%experience per kill or per event to help increase the leveling process.
  6. The bonus to xp on the armor would stop working at level 70

This way Alts may be leveled with ease.

I actually love this idea as an altaholic I tend to have more then most, why can’t i combine my karma resource like I do my gold? It would be nice to be able to easily gear up my alts without the need to spend large sums of gold in the already overpriced TP.

I’m so glad this isn’t in the game because of all of the negative things it would do to further separate the community (which is already splintering due to other items added and taken away from the game recently). DPS meters, gearscore and the like do not belong in any game because they are only there to cause problems between players especially when running dungeons. This game is not designed like most (no trinity) so expecting everyone to be at a certain dps when this title is meant to be played for survivability (no enrage timers, armors having only a minor healing stat, most people seeking toughness in armor for dungeon runs) it just seems to me that there would be unrealistic expectations from those who believe you can glass cannon your way through everything on every class. You can’t we’re not all playing warriors and guardians sorry.

So, my wife and I have played GW2 since beta, and we have had a lot of fun. But now we are starting to see the game for what it actually is : Pay-to-win. A friend of ours started to play and was level 80 in 5 days, because he used $ to buy trade-skill mats to level up. This really made our level 80s seem pretty pointless, because it was then obvious that you can basically “buy” a level 80.

Now there are legendary weapons showing up on the trading post. We are very unhappy with this development. It seems most modern MMOs are all pay to win these day, with their cash-shops and the ability to buy coin. We long for the good old days of an even play field, no matter your standing in real life. I am now starting to look elsewhere for another MMO, even sub-based, with NO real life influence on your character. I worry that those days are over, and my enjoyment of MMO gaming is coming to an end.

I have to agree. We tried to warn folks about this very thing when the drops started being reduced that it would directly affect the economy of the game and thus try to get people to get gems to convert to gold (whether intended or not that’s what’s happening for many a new player). There’s a thread right now with over 1k posts about the drops and how it’s affecting the economy of the game.

Right now if you are a new player and you want to pick up armor, in a dps role capacity. Each piece of armor costs 4-5 gold. Most runes cost 2-3 gold each. If your account get’s DR turned on and you are hit by the DR bug, you might as well hang it up and go buy gold because there won’t be any drops for you to sell. I know they are working on it and that this game doesn’t have a sub but if you want to do dungeons now people demand that you be level 80 and in all exotics to do dungeons before you can join most 5 mans, If you want to do WvW and be highly successful at it your gear does matter.

Dancing around semantics doesn’t change the fact that this is happening and until it changes many a new player will be disenchanted with the game. My only suggestion is maybe return in January they might have a few things fixed regarding loot by then?

  1. In the last AMA the final question was regarding the loot drop rates we were promised an investigation. What exactly was the result of the investigation.
  2. Will anything be done in the jan/feb patches to improve drop rates of rares?
  3. Will the drop rates of rares ever return to chests?
  4. Will the drop rates of bags for level 80 T6 materials have an increase?
  5. What will be done to make magic find function properly again?
  6. Will DR ever be adjusted so that it no longer affects legit farmer players?

To increase reliability and still make this balanced:

-decrease cooldown to 20 – 25 sec
- 33% decrease in speed for the duration of quickness instead of the other gambling sideeffect nonesense.

Toolbelt: take out mesmer field and have reflect and blindness 50%

This would make it a bit more reliable and useful skill.

ATM as a pure rifle crit dmg build we are extremely low dmging low def/survivability build. This would help a lot for us and any other builds.

If they took out the mesmer invis from this pot I would want direct access to the cloaking device we have when immobilized so I can press a button and use it at specific times to keep myself safe and keep enemies confused.

Chris mentioned he would be doing another AMA one could only hope that it’s not filtered and that the focus would be on class issues like the glaring ones we face everyday as engineers. I hope it’s class focused and they reveal some of what they have planned and answer the big questions about this class because it’s tiresome after a while of spending SOOO much time in each fight because we’ve been “balanced”. I can’t argue. Seriously, this was a pretty nice buff we got overall.
But please try to be less disingenuous with “one shot”. that isn’t helping when its not even true. 3 shotting a level 40 in wvw is not something to make assertions about.

Look, I designed this build to min/max for one-shotting. You can make adjustments for greater utility. But I think it’s a worthwhile exercise to show people how to take the class to the extreme, and let them pull back from there. You can probably roll back quite a bit of this build and still find people you can one-shot.

One shotting is one shotting, it’s not an opinion it’s using 1 ability and only 1 ability to kill anything. Only two classes can do that and that’s part of the major issue. When it comes to these classes and how they are designed the whole point of the complaints is that one shouldn’t HAVE to manipulate to be able to do what only two classes can do in the game with ease. It’s a serious imbalance issue.

Yes the number of attacks matters greatly. Even the OP would agree. I hope they are listening and scale our kits to our equipment because it would make this class suck even more if they don’t coming january.

Tools Grandmaster traits

Hey all,

I’m doing a come back on my Engineer. It’s still my first love.

With the recent nerf to Grenade, I changed my build a bit.

I’m going 30 points in Tools, but I find Tools Grandmaster traits to be kinda lack luster.

Armor Mods -> Retalition for 3/5 sec when you receive a critical hit. (25 sec ICD)

  • I’m not sure of the duration since I’m not at home. Wiki list it at 5 sec, while my traits builder list it at 3 sec. Am I the only one that think 5 seconde of retaliation every 25 sec is really lack luster? On my necro, I can get a free retalition buff for 3 sec when I use DS for 10 points in spite. I’m not even sure I would use it if it was a minor traits. It’s also pretty boring.

Adrenaline Implant -> 50% endurance regen

  • This trait is really boring. A flat 50% endurance regen. The dev were bored and decided to go for a simple trait? Even worse, Ranger got the SAME trait, for their first FIVE traits. The same exact trait.

What do you guys think? I am missing something?

you’re not missing a single thing. It’s like they started off in developement with the engineer traits and then did the traits of the other classes never returning to fix the engineer traits before releasing the game. There are traits other classes get for free pretty much because they aren’t grandmaster traits that engineers have to spend extra on useless lines just to access. There are traits in the lines on the engineer that don’t belong in the lines they are in (Elixir Infused Bombs) that really don’t have any staying power but somehow they are deemed “too powerful” so they have to be grandmaster. Much of what goes on in this class looks like it’s been thrown together at the last minute rather then thought through to make it as harmonious and fluid as possible before launch. I’ve noticed it because I play lots of alts and it’s a serious injustice to this class to leave it like it is now.

Anyway I hope sometime soon they give us some answers about this whole loot issue this thread is getting huge. I personally haven’t seen an increase, they said they increased the bag drop rate but the bags are almost never drop for me so I can’t get the T6 mats from nonexistant bags, and we still have yet to see an increase in rares maybe my account is one of the ones with the perma DR on it since this is all I do all day. I tried going from place to place, didn’t increase my drops at all.

short story: When DCUO released their special Lockboxes that had a chance to get special loot (aura or best accessories) it was exciting for subscribers who could open them all. Non-subscribers had to use Station cash to buy keys. Weeks later, the frequency of finding Lockboxes was noticably less often. After making a fuss by many players on the forums, we were told there was a cap on the number of Lockboxes you could find in a month. The limitation of the Lockboxes was not openly presented by the Devs, and had players not made a fuss, it might have never been presented.

…..has Anet put a cap on the number of Exotics or Rares or Rare Materials a player can find (from drops and/or chests) in a certain period of time?? 0o Whereas, if you reach the cap, you can’t get Rares of Exotics until the period of time resets?? 0o

That would be seriously shady if they did do such a thing! I hope not!

This, i wholeheartedly agree with.

I do too. Since starting this game wondering what’s going on people have directed me to Reddit, wiki, news interviews, facebook, twitter everywhere but the official forums for valuable much needed communication about major issues.

I would also like to add that we are despirately in need of an answer regarding drop rates, Diminishing Returns, and Magic Find. in this forum post specifically

An easier way to deal with this would be to make the dragons like the dungeons. Diminishing returns per repeat of the same dragon within a day. Meaning your first time for the day you fight Jormag, you get some good loot. Second time, the loot gets less rare, third time, you won’t get rare at all. Do this, and it fixes the problem with farmers.

Sorry I don’t even see how doing a dragon event every 3 hours even constitutes OTT farming that requires any nerf. To me this response from anet pretty much beggars belief and is an indication that they’re getting way too carried away with this DR rubbish.

My thoughts exactly. It’s tiresome. Oh well thank goodness it’s not the only game out there.

I feel sorry for the new people, they won’t know what’s coming until they hit 80 and get punished for it.

My newest issue is that the bags drop T6 mats sure but getting bags to drop off the mobs they intended has been a pain, why can’t they just make it like it was and find another way to deal with bots, they succeeded at detecting them and banning them, why continue this mess.

U might want to talk to a lawyer actually. The environment they are breeding is one where you have to buy gold via their real money shop to get even materials to gear up to do the dungeons they’ve made this game focus on, whether intentional or not, so theres a chance but only a lawyer will tell you yes or no.

The Grenade nerf is ok, guys! Let’s just use our other kits that haven’t been nerfed yet!

Flamethrower? Oh right, the “Miss” bug, which is 3 months old, still hasn’t been fixed.

No one is “just” complaining about one skill that gets nerfed. One nerf is fine. Three nerfs are fine. Nerfing our class every single patch without even making appropriate bugfixes for three months in a row is a slap in the face. Please don’t talk like you’re the most special snowflake in the world for trying to work around the numerous nerfs to the class.

I long for the day when this class is taken out of the beta stage and made whole and the combat is fluid. This system might allow us the choices we need since traits won’t ever be changed (like the never used 5% more damage to blah) that we see althroughout the traits in engineering lines.

And lol… how is it Pay to win? Anet didn’t make that legendary and put it on the AH, another player did. And I was never aware of a legendary being BiS. It doesn’t have have any better stats than an exotic and its arguable worse since you can’t transmute it to have the states you want and your stuck w/Power, Vit, Toughness.

It’s the other kind of pay2win right now because there’s a serious shortage of mats to make anything including the legendaries, recipes that STILL require an enormous amount of grind btw even tho we’ve been promised otherwise. The type of pay2win is sending people to buy gold to get the things they need. That’s the pay2win scenario because let me tell you, there’s seriously no way in the current state of the game that one has the ability to gather in pve all of the mats needed to make a legendary without buying anything from the TP, it’s also almost impossible to get all of the mats needed to sell to maintain gold at the levels that are required for precursors or the legendaries themselves from the TP, without having blown through the leveling process on launch head start, gaining all the mats one can from every major zone, compiling these mats and waiting for the market to change to make them as expensive as they were just after the nov 16th patch. That’s what we’re dealing with here. A Super-rich few who are controlling the market and making the rest go buy the gold because no one else can come close to those levels of gold in game. This combined with the knowledge that the legendary weapons will have stats equivalent to ascended gear which does have higher stats no matter how you spin it as relevant, it’s still higher stats and higher stats = a higher chance at win which = winning via spending gold one got from buying gems and converting them to gold.

So they did it in a round-about way so that it doesn’t appear to be us buying directly from the store but it’s still buying gold to get an advantage and it’s still wrong whether it’s intended or not.

Until they remove the DR. the lower globs of ecto drops, the problematic lower drops from chests from dragon events or from the massive amounts of mobs in events in Orr, and restore everyone’s ability to gather the materials they need, this economy is going to be seriously off by alot.

many of them aren’t on my class the engineer. There are traits that hardly do any increase in damage, many that were fun at launch don’t function anymore, and many aren’t even affected by stats or have been so nerfed they don’t do anything worth it anymore might as well remove these traits altogether because no one uses them.

Today i decided to try to farm some rares for ectos for the first time in a few weeks. The last few weeks I’ve been hitting 100% map completion pretty heavy and finally finished it. So i slap on all my magic find gear, eat an omnomberry bar and use a mf booster I’ve been holding on to for awhile … 200% magic find in total. By the time my booster wears off I found a grand total of 4 greens, 2 blues, 5 whites and a handful of salvage stuff. I switched areas in the map and it was the first time in a few days since I had even been there. Diminishing returns should have played no part whatsoever. I had better luck yesterday helping a guildie with map completion for an hour with no magic find at all. 2 rares and about a gold worth of greens, blues and whites. Think i’m going to stop running mf gear untill the issue gets fixed. If my regular gear stops finding decent loot for me then i guess i’ll follow some of the others out the door as well … no point in killing stuff if even blues and greens are just as rare as yellows. Oh, this is the first time i’ve posted on here as well so the paranoid theory isn’t true that was posted a few threads back

When you switched back to regular gear were you using the food still?

Honestly i feel that Anet could buff heals across the board in PvE, but leave it as is in PvP. Anet seems to have a vendetta against bunkers in sPvP that ends up making anything but perma-swiftness glass cannons pointless in PvE.

They could most people here are ignoring the fact that almost none of our heals scale with +healing. seriously.

Well right now there is no farming because farmers are being wrongly affected by both the intended and unintended affects of DR. Both the bug and the intended programming is preventing farming anywhere else other then dungeons so they definitely need to address that first and foremost. I agree there should be some content or revamping older content (ha, two months and it because old with a single patch, smh) by making these dungeons scale down much like the zones scale the players down. It would make for a better overall experience.

I like the idea, but…

I like it more, if instead of “Engineer Points” you have a crafting profession like “Engineer mechanic”.

The “Engineer mechanic” can design new turrets by combining materials, weapons, armors…

With an interface similar to other crafting professions.

And maybe… It would be “more real” if this turrets need materials to place them. Or maybe you can have a stock of constructed turrets. If you pick up the turret before it explodes you don’t lose the stock, but if it gets destroyed you can recover just some materials you used to made it.

I think the idea is understandable. Sorry for my english.

If it took up actual resources, it’d put an unfair economic tax on engineers, which would more than likely turn people off of the idea of playing one.

How about something silly and simple? Each trait line as it is now gives three stats? The two normal ones, and then one related to your tools, kits, and turrets?

Example:

Explosives gives: +10 Power, +1% Condition Duration, and +1% Explosive Radius
Firearms: +10 Precision, +10 Condition Damage, +1% Turret Damage
Inventions: +10 Toughness, +10 Compassion, +1% Turret Health
Alchemy: +10 Vitality, +1% Boon Duration, +2% Elixir Radius (and a new trait to give Elixirs you drink an AoE effect centered on you that gives your allies the effect of the Elixir as well.)
Tools: +1% Toolbelt Recharge, +1% Critical Damage, +1% Gadget and Toolbelt Damage

You ask why no Kit booster? Well, Kits are going to be benefiting from stats and sigils, so, in a way, you can customize them by virtue of what gear you’ve got.

Sounds good. I remember another game promising me that cogs would be the next big thing for engineers and that we could put cogs into anything allowing for better stats then most classes. Never happened. I can only imagine what would happen with this title considering the 4 month history thus far.

Totally agree. OP gets it.

Regarding what the class should become, because Grenades and Bombs are half way there anyway, Engineers should be the big risk / big reward class: they could very well miss, but if they hit, BOOM!

I think this is true to real life engineers anyway. The US Army Corps of Engineers has a lot of grand successes and phenomenal failures.

The thing that gets me the most is they aren’t even using real physics or anything close to that. Sure I get that explosives would be very bad if they hit us while we were using them but what I’m specifically talking about is the explosion radius. Since when does a grenade not explode larger then the radius they gave to my thief’s sword or my warriors 2 hander? How does that even make sense? It’s like they WANT us to miss. We already have that problem with FT/EG/Torch thanks we don’t need to miss with everything.

/facepalm

They seriously need to hire a prior military munitions officer so they can get some real answers on how this class should behave. Then maybe we’ll get some justice.

It isn’t every kit, but “some of the kits” could be every kit minus one:

“Engineer Kit Sigils.
The Engineer now benefits from the sigils on their weapons when they swap to a kit. So, this means that you will have the ability to get sigil procs on your Flame Thrower, or Grenade Kit, etc. This means we had to tone down some of the kits accordingly, the biggest of which was the Grenade kit.”

It’s so ridiculous when these players want to argue because they are playing other classes other then engineer and they want engineers to continue to be easy pickings when they know darn well that every pvp nerf, one per major patch each btw, has nerfed pve. I left WoW for this very reason, every week there was something else because some poor childish baby couldn’t stop whining about pvp and so they nerfed nerfed nerfed my class until it was unplayable in pve and expected me to pay money to respect every single time. Well in this game, respeccing means your gear too. And it gets costly, it’s not as simple as redoing your traits, you have to get a new armorset, new runes, and new weapons if you don’t have one of each type (4 major ones that are starkly different in stats then one another). So yeah I’m ticked off and rightfully so. Not only are they herding us to the store with lower drops they are now herding us to the store so we can be ready to use whatever flavor build of the week they haven’t touched yet or the rebuffed because they took a whole month to realize they screwed that one up the month earlier. See my point? It’s getting old fast. And no I’m not talking about grenades tho throwing 30-39 grenades to kill something is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in any video game title with these types of weapons.

And despite people thinking my signature tells you everything about me, you don’t know a single thing about me how I play or what I’m about in RL thanks. (not directed at Pan or Mif.)

Shrug …. nothing mentioned other then the guesting, which was mentioned at release of game, to make play in the world better and I m not a fan of running the same dungeon over and over again, no matter the increase in diffuculty

That’s the bigger problem for me. Besides my class being mediocre at best now (engineer) because of bugs and a laundry list of much needed fixes.

They promised us prelaunch that this game was supposed to be all about meta events. Then they not only don’t come out with new metas they also nerf the rewards from the ones they have. There’s no reason to do any of the dragons anymore folks just let them take over tyria. seriously.

You cannot have horizontal progression when there are no rewards that can be obtained to use for crafting what you need.

I hope they do make some major fixes because they’re going to need them. My server is mostly a ghost town until one of the larger guilds decide they need something from Orr.
