You’re not understanding the concept of separating players. Players should be able to enjoy content regardless of what server they’re on; the way it is now. It is always open to them. Let’s say your idea was implemented: player X wants to try out WvWvW since he has only on a “PvE” server. He has two choices; transfer to another world that is WvWvW, leaving his friends and guildies behind, or stay on his PvE server and be stuck with little to no help. This is obviously a deterrent to any newcomers to WvWvW. Also, if you remember, servers are ranked and pitted against each other on WvWvW. If you make the dedicated servers for each mode, servers not dedicated would never get a chance to move up the ranks and fight superior opponents. They would left at the bottom, and remain virtually empty, as who would want to try out the content when they’re always the underdog? Your idea causes an imbalance in the population of players in each game mode per server. I understand your reasoning, but the idea is flawed and therefore won’t happen.

1. Change the status of minipets so they don’t count as collectibles. As it stands you cannot have a minipet in your bags and not lose it to your own bank tab when you use the ‘deposit collectibles’ option in the bags tab. Rather annoying to send all sorts of materials (wood, ore etc) to your bank account only to realize you accidentally also sent your pet into said bank tabs.

2. Make dungeon tokens and sigils collectibles so they can be stacked in the bank tab of your account using the aforementioned right click function rather than having to drag each individually into a bank tab slot.

Dungeon tokens are going to be collectible a soon enough. If you notice, while you can’t choose the option, right clicking on dungeon tokens has a faded out “deposit collectible”.

To raid or not to raid? Not to raid!

Bad idea, that’s separating players out; we need to bring them together. Think about it; if you make each of the servers have a specific content, like a WvWvW main server, no one would be playing PvP or PvE there, which should not happen at all. Someone has suggested this before, still don’t like the idea now.

The “zoned” aspect of the game can be handled just fine, once again, I’m not saying GW2 =WoW, but WoW handled flying mounts beautifully, by only allowing flying in high level areas, and then recedesigning the zoned areas for flight in the future..

Correct, that would require a change in the engine. Flying mounts aren’t supported.

Anyway, mounts will never be added. They were not part of the game’s design and it’s only the minority that wants them. Mount lovers, could you please use the Search feature? This is the suggestions section of the forums, not the lets spam threads about the same topic forums.

I like the idea of everything there, with the exception of flying mounts. Stick to the pact airships and I’d agree.

I’m doing the same thing, I’ve leveled Cooking, Jewlery, Leatherworkong, and some of Huntsman. Each will take you 4-5g, so 35-40g in total sounds about right. Made 39 levels in 3 days.

Transmuted dusk won’t work, I think it’s been discussed somewhere else before.

Hey guys, I just wanted to clarify something with myself:
You can level to 80 by getting 400 in each craft correct?
By that logic it would be 10 levels per profession?

Just checking, as I thought it might be interesting to do. I imagine myself starting as a newbie level 2, and going all the way to 80 and still have my starting armor on, lol.
(I would obviously get money + resources from my alts)

5, 6, and 7 I am all against, everything else I am in agreement with.

Hey all, this topic isn’t as widely discussed as discussions to improve the playing aspect of the game (events, dungeons, improvements to game modes, etc.), but I think we need more hair options in the game. Truthfully, whenever I am playing around with the Create a Character menu, I am always drawn towards the same hairstyles, due to the fact that I only like a set amount of ones we have, and my characters end up looking similar to each other. (This is mainly in regards to humans, Norns, and sylvari). I was looking at Asuran males as well, and they have probably the smallest amount of hairstyles to choose from (charr might have less, don’t remember exactly how many). I believe adding more hairstyles will allow players to further create uniqueness in their characters.

Also, since we are talking about hair, I want to bring up the topic of hair colors. Right now, if you were to compare the selection of colors a sylvari has to choose from, compared to that of the rest of the races, you can clearly see a difference. I would like to suggest that we have more hair color options, or even better, allow us to dye our hair using the dyes we collect on our character. This is a fantasy mmo rpg after all, so I don’t think it would be too strange to have such a feature.

If you, the readers, agree with me, let’s discuss what styles of hair we could have and different systems we could implement along with it.

Badges of Honor are the easiest part of crafting a legendary. Requires no money, and is mainly gotten by the EB and homeland Jping Puzzles. Piece of cake.

There’s a Search feature you can use to see how many threads have been made about this topic and how many replies have said no. A good majority, and I’m with them. We don’t need raids, thank you.

Customization WOULD be nice, though I doubt it would be implemented at all. As for stats, they just need to make it so transmuting it doesn’t take away the legendary tier name.

I’m American so I don’t know any good EU servers, but if this will be your first time playing do not go elementalist. They take time to master as they have ver low hp pools and the weakest defense. I would go something more durable like a guardian. If you insist on the scholar profession, go Necromancer or Mesmer. All races can
Play as any profession, so pick whatever your heart desires! (Feel free to pick a combination that may seem weird, too many people follow professions with the race stereotypes).

Brand new level 40s and there’s only 3 of you? Gl with that. Get 2 more people and plan out your attacks. This dungeon is harder than others due to bad placement of mobs and their high hp pools.

facepalm they wouldnt stack with armor or food, in otherwords magic find gear and foods would be taken out of the game. There is no flaw in this idea, as eventually everybody would have magic find, and nobody would be forced to use the gimped gear in dungeons or fractals.

1) MF is never getting removed, accept that reality
2) No one is ever forced to wear any gear it’s their choice

i think magic find should be taken out entierly. all it does is limit a character. after all if everyone could choose their gear right down to the runes who on earth would choose to have a magic find attribute? youd already have what you want. i like dungeon crawling but just played with a group and all but me had magic find gear. i died a lot and so did they. it wasnt fun for me because i was expected to do more and recieved less.

There is nothing wrong with MF gear; if you want to sacrifice stats for finding better gear, then that’s up to you. You risk angering teammates and slowing down the progress of the group should you do so. If your team is ok with it, then by all means run with the gear. I know I sometimes do, and I have 0 issues completing a dungeon without incident.

Agreed for the cost alternative. Being able to purchase it with Karma would be helpful to those who do their daylies, monthlies, and de’s (me), but can’t raise a whole lot of money. As long as you keep the amount of Karma required high, it should be fine.

I just started fractals runs recently (never bothered when first implemented), and wanted to know the basics of getting my ascended gear started. Right now, I only have about 30 tokens and have only completed level 1; I am obviously going to keep going up. But with these rings, the backpack items, and infusions, I’m sort of in the dark. I know where I can find some recipes for things, but that’s where my knowledge ends. Got any useful advice for getting started?

Use Search feature next time, there have been many posts about this. Pretty sure they’re not being implemented anyway.

Next time, do you mind using the Search feature of the forums? We don’t need 1000+ topics about mounts.

And for my opinion, no. Not necessary, and take away from the immersion of being a part of the world and traveling. WvWvW is made for combat, not running around on mounts willy-nilly.

I agree on the increased percentage thing; on regards to everything though. Your chances of getting a good item will increase the more you don’t a rare or exotic. When you do, however, the chance of getting such will drop back down to its low percentage. But at a small rate: let’s just say its a .02 chance to get it, if you don’t get one, it goes to .04 percent chance. That way RNG isn’t tormenting everyone forever.

Well, while I admit it would be cool, we technically already do have a bio, it’s made as we complete our personal story. Allowing it to be seen by others? Hmm.. Maybe, maybe.

I fear that if they were to make legendary armor with this method, people will only do dungeons, leaving the maps even more empty in other zones.

All gifts are account bound, but I think some of the ingredients are soul bound. You can craft the gifts on any character and transfer them if I’m not mistaken.

I would say like to see another heavy armor class for sure like do a Paragon/Dervish type build.
I know the factor of a throwing spear is out since we use spears underwater.
But in general the skill sets in shape or form of both classes into one be pretty kool.

Race wise be kool to see playable with Ideas sumitted below.
-Hylek ( who doesn’t want to play a Hopping smacking frog. )
-Tengu ( Ninja like bird I say is pretty kool from Guild wars 1 )
-Quaggan ( Cute but creepy looking like the Asura, as well as a partly underwater starter zone.)
-Largos ( A start world base partly underwater be kool and different. )
- Retile Race ( Being able to move unlike other races be pretty kool as well. Be nice plus a starter zone within the Crystal Desert )
-Mouse/Rat race ( Why not is the true question. )
-Small Race ( Only the Asura is the short race here why not another since so many large races are here. )

Problem with Tengu and Koda is that their faces don’t change regardless of which one you’re looking at. We will be seeing a Tengu area in the world map in the future (devs left a huge spot open for Tengu I between Caledonian Forest and LA, they’re guarded bythe Tengu guard). Nonetheless, I’m excited to see what they’ll do!

No on mounts from me, I prefer the game just as it is, minus the bugs that need fixing ofc. Waypoints work just fine, and nothing is better than exploring the world or fighting in WvWvW on foot; makes you feel even more immersed into the game.

I’ve been hoping to get The Legend soon, but the RNG works against me whether its chests or MF. I could raise money, but on my server it’s 500g…, increasing faster than I can make money. I hope this scavenger hunt will help out a bit. Legendaries are supposed to be made from hard work, not chance; (it is because of this chance that some technically can never get a precursor no matter how hard they work for it).

I would actually agree to this. It would definitely give a better view of the weapons you’re previewing.

Does it actually say when it was created, or just how many hours you’ve played? I thought it was the latter.

Never had an issue with TA. Here’s a great and simple strategy that always works; dog pile. You have 5 people, just target and take down each enemy one at a time with all. They’ll die quick and move on. Always take on adds before champion/legendary boss.

I really want to work for Bifrost, but the Arah dungeon is discouraging me. I tried it once before; got half-way through, not even up to a single boss before my teammates quit on me. I am always hearing how insanely hard it is. I hope they do something to make it easier, I hear so much bad stuff about it.

I allow anyone who is the minimum level to run and I never have any problems. Spread the love people.

I lost my Mad Memories because I had to make a choice between deleting a character I didn’t want or the book. I chose the slot. I tried to transmute it over, didn’t work, gone forever. >.>

They should add a holiday vendor that stores your earned items for participating

If they did this, they should add what day we made our character under the info on character select. I can’t remember when I made any of my characters, none of them from August remain lol
