You’re allowed to advertise this. I’m pretty sure the only thing I’ve seen a a red tag confirm that they (Anet) don’t want is for people to advertise direct trades on the LFG. Of course, I could be wrong. Someone will come along to confirm or not.

No, you’re a Thief that fights dragons. The Guardian I create in the beta will still be a Guardian that has a specialisation in Dragonhunter.

Nothing. One profession will have a spec line and the other wont.

I never feel any hype for this sort of stuff so I could have just gone with getting the expansion and seeing it all for myself. Beta will be interesting (if I remember to wake up).

Frankly, the whole idea that people are just going to throw hundreds of names into a thread and Anet will pick one is pure folly. I would rather too that Anet take the lead on this if it is indeed something they would consider but then again, I don’t think it would change much. We are still going to end up with people unhappy about the name for the most asinine reasons.

I doubt it. You dont see people complaining about the name of Reaper and Chronomancer, at least i havent yet.

That may be because Chronomancer sounds more on the cool side than not, and Reaper is so bland it slides right past the eyes.

You’d be able to find out by putting your cursor over the individual map names to see if you’re missing anything. If you had 100% before they haven’t taken your star away.

I don’t think he’d be censoring this thread. The conversation isn’t overly constructive but its also not abusive/disrespectful.

I deal with it by not doing it. The biggest part of the game for me is leveling characters and I do it in the open world. I generally take a break from that after I get a couple to 80 to relieve the sense of grind that comes. I’ve just 80’ed up about 10 in the last two months so this leveling break I’m on right now could be lengthy

I get the feeling that I play this game very different from most players. I focus almost exclusively on open world PvE content; I don’t care much about dungeons or fractals or WvW or PvP.

That’s how i play as well. I have my guys and girls spread over the world enjoying different things with different motives. There’s plenty to do.

It’s not quite in game but when I made my first Norn over two years ago and got blown away by the opening sequence. I haven’t looked back and I still love listening to it.

I’m going to have to add Marionette as a proper in game fond memory (favourite moments?). I had the same buzz doing it for the last time as I had the first time. I had flashbacks for ages afterwards.

It wouldn’t end well unfortunately. Sounds very open to abuse. There are plenty of posters that wouldn’t abuse it but there are a few…er…hysterically irrational posters (to use an extreme) that would spoil it for everyone else. Plus it just doesn’t seem right.

I dont find the issue being the weapon skills. At most I’d say that instead of adding more weapons, would be a very large under taking since you’d need to add so many new models, to instead give each weapon ten skills rather than 5. As in each button has two choices, giving you more variety in what your weapons an do.

Failing that, more utilities to choose from. The issue here is variety, and there isnt much. But, you dont need to add weapons for variety, just tweak what you can do with existing ones.

This has been mentioned before and I’m all for it. I’d love to be able choose different weapon skills on the same weapon.

Current? Last world boss was three salvages for seven ectos using a black lion kit. I’ve had at least one ecto nearly every salvage for the last week. My guildie on the other hand is more in the same boat as you.

Yeah .. and in germany they had to change its color to green while for the US they
had to remove the nipples on females.

So no .. i don’t really need green blood .. however it would fit to the green colors od
