Because IMO Anet “devalued” overnight the “value” of the core game owned by “veterans” to nothing while saying at the same time it added “value” to the deal for new players.

Thank you I only created it to be honest to stop all of the guild invites I was getting. I prefer to play alone and was getting frustrated at all the invites popping up! Maybe all of us small guilds can band together?

I was thinking about small guilds banding together for anything we may need to unlock. It might be worth it if we tentatively consider an unofficial alliance system, through a thread or something, in case we need to get something going. Pending more information of course. We may not need to be social at all

You can’t make a Revenant without a character slot. Telling me to delete an existing character is a “batteries not included” deal. You are trying to sell me a different product, you even present it as a standalone. Yet, one of its features doesn’t “work” by itself.

This is analogy I can get behind. A free slot in the base package wouldn’t kill Anet. Especially since you can have up to 64 of the things.

I also think that the bullkitten should be in the gem shop. Maybe a mini or one of those riding toys. Or a tonic for all those bullkitten artists that we see all the time.

I didn’t put it in the other thread about this but not having either of my guilds that I’m an active part of being able to access guild halls would actually cause me to effectively give up the game. Not entirely but my play time would drop a lot and I know some of my guild members would just quit.

Well, thank you reapex. I am now a helluva lot more confidant that guild halls won’t be the cause of my leaving the game

Well said, the only thing i wish they did to appease all the scrooges is to add a char slot to all versions. I think that would have kept things much calmer around here.

Well one slot for the regular version would be nice but I wouldn’t complain about getting 2 for the ultimate; seeing as I have already paid.

Nice to see a thread I can take seriously. I have two guilds I’m in (separate groups of friends) and neither of them are large enough to take on guild missions for Favour. I’m hoping there will be sort of addition to the guild missions to cater to small guilds. Don’t even need the other rewards, just the Favour.

Don’t get me started on the pessimistic thoughts I had about my three personal guilds…

Don’t buy transmutes (if that’s the expensive bit you mean). I understand you want to look as fabbo as you can at all times but my advice is to wait for transmute charges to come to you. If you play long enough you’ll be rolling in them.

Just to put another slant on this – I wonder if the people who run the shop for Anet would ever consider allowing more national currencies. I had no problems purchasing gems a year ago but with exchange rates the way they are its a bit silly for me now.

Yep. Happened to me and support sorted it out. I let them know about the missing warning as well but there must be some difficulty in fixing that issue.

Open up your Options and its in the bottom right corner. FPS is there too.

Why cancel the thread? There’s always someone who will come and agree. Personally I’d like mounts but I also know they aren’t really needed.

There’s a good possibility of a thread that won’t pan out exactly how you’d want.
